The Security Council has adopted a US-backed plan for the Palestinian enclave.
Hamas has agreed to a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, the Palestinian militant group said on Monday evening.

The Council approved the US-backed resolution with 14 votes in favor and Russia abstaining. Washington had finalized the text of the draft on Sunday.

“Hamas welcomes what is included in the Security Council resolution that affirmed the permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the complete withdrawal, the prisoners’ exchange, the reconstruction, the return of the displaced to their areas of residence, the rejection of any demographic change or reduction in the area of the Gaza Strip, and the delivery of needed aid to our people in the Strip,” the group said in a statement quoted by Reuters.

Hamas also said it would be willing to take part in indirect negotiations with Israel over implementing  the principles “that are consistent with the demands of our people and resistance.”

According to the White House, Israel has already accepted the ceasefire proposal. US President Joe Biden has claimed that the three-phase plan was an Israeli idea to begin with.

The UN resolution calls on both sides “to fully implement its terms without delay and without condition.”

Phase one of the proposal entails a six-week “pause” in the fighting, during which Israel and Hamas should open negotiations. If the talks continue past the six-week mark, the ceasefire will hold as long as the talks are ongoing, the resolution said.

Israel is supposed to withdraw from populated areas in Gaza and free some Palestinian prisoners in exchange for some hostages in Hamas captivity.

Phase two would see the return of all the remaining living hostages, while phase three would involve turning over the bodies of dead captives and a US-led “major reconstruction plan” for the Palestinian enclave.

Ramesses III’s Mortunary Temple at Menin Hubub

Episode 31 Dynasty XX The Decline Continue

The History of Ancient Egypt

Professor Robert Brier

Film Review

As the Egyptian economy steadily declined, pharaohs left behind fewer and fewer monuments extolling their achievements. The first pharaoh of Dynasty XX, Sethket (“Set is Mighty”*) ruled between 1185-1182 BC and totally erased the name of his predecessor female pharaoh Twosret’s name from public monuments.** The only information we have about Sethket’s reign is from Papyrus Harris written during the reign of his successor Ramses III. It describes Sethket successfully repulsing Asiatics who tried to invade Egypt.

His successor Ramesses III, also a strong military leader, crushed a Libyan invasion and and an invasion by “Sea Peoples” (believed to be a confederation of Philistines and Mediterranean peoples from the vicinity of Sicily.***

By the time of Ramesses III’s reign, the Temple of Amun owned 90% of Egypt’s temple land, and most of Karnak was devoted to small workshops manufacturing oils and the white linens worn by priests. None of the Karnak temples contained large rooms as technology was yet to be invented to support a large roof.

Rameses III built a massive mortuary at Menin Habud in the style of a Syrian fortress, complete with crenelations on the roof where Syrian archers stood. Ramesses III stayed there during annual festivals when the gods were brought out and paraded among the people.

Ramesses III (unrelated to Rameses II) chose his name. He also named his children after Ramesses II’s children. After ruling for 30 years, he was assassinated by one of his secondary wives. Several priests and palace guards were also charged with involvement in the conspiracy. Their trial is recorded in the Harem Conspiracy Papyrus. They were all convicted and executed by being impaled on a stake.

He was succeeded by three sons all named Ramses:

  • Ramesses IV (1151-1145 BC) – sent expedition of 2,000 men to Wadi Hammamet to mine black granite
  • Ramesses V (1145-1441 BC) – had smallpox
  • Ramesses VI (1141-1133 BC) – lost nearly all the foreign lands paying tribute to Egypt. Ceased to organize expeditions to Syria for turquoise
  • Ramesses VII (1133-1125 BC) – Egypt racked by soaring inflation
  • Ramesses IX 1126-1108 BC) – associated with numerous (pharaoh) tomb robberies and arrest and prosecution of the thieves.
  • Ramses XI (1108 -1079 BC) final XX pharaoh, associated with split between Upper and Lower Egypt. Continued to rule in the north, while the high priest Heri-Hor set himself up as king in the South.

*Set came to be viewed as the Egyptian god of evil, owing to the murder of his brother Osiris (see The Ancient Egyptian Origin Myth), equivalent to Lucifer in the Abrahamic religions. It may be significant that as Egyptian power and wealth, it somehow became acceptable for pharaohs to name themselves after the god of evil.

**Egypt always declined economically under female rulers because they didn’t lead military campaigns to capture booty from neighboring countries.

***Believed to be escaping harsh conditions in their native lands, given all their ox carts piled high with possessions.

Groundbreaking Study Shows EMF Shielding Improves Autoimmune Disease

Novel research reveals that blocking exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF) produces significant symptom changes in 90% of patients with autoimmune disease.

The Ubiquity of Electrosmog

[…]

Although we encounter natural microwave electromagnetic radiation in the form of cosmic radiation from outer space, the aurora borealis, and thunderstorms, the vast majority of electrosmog that we encounter is largely manmade (1). These atmospheric phenomena, however, emit electromagnetic radiation at lower radio frequencies and are negligibly weak in comparison to manmade sources, which have increased exponentially due to the emergence of television, cellular phone technologies, and WiFI, all of which utilize microwave frequency bands (1).

According to researchers Marshall and Heil (2017), for instance, “The recent release of WiGig and anti-collision vehicle radars in the 60 GHz region embody a 1000-fold increase in frequency, and photon energy, over the exposures mankind experienced up until the 1950s” (1).

How Electrosmog Interfaces with the Bioelectromagnetic Body

It is intuitive that electrosmog would interact with human biology, since human physiology operates in part via electromagnetic fields. Apart from physical information superhighways such as the blood, nervous, and lymphatic systems, the body uses electromagnetic forms of energy transmission and communication which are several orders of magnitude faster than chemical diffusion (2).

Called biophotonic emission (BPE), these quanta of electromagnetic energy have a visibility one thousand times lower than the sensitivity of our naked eye and are quintessential to cellular metabolism and to the powering of our energy-intensive nervous and immune systems (3). Harbored within our genetic material, biophotons serve as a mode of instantaneous communication from one body part to another and to the extraneous world (4) and their emission is influenced by our global state of health (5). Research even suggests that mental intention and the fabric of our consciousness is mediated by these quantum of light, which operate as highly coherent frequencies and generate an ordered flux of photons (4).

Thus, both the stuff of consciousness and the functioning of our cellular energetics is premised upon electromagnetism, which may be susceptible to distortion by electrosmog. Curtis and Hurtak describe the electromagnetic body as both “an entire body distinct from the chemical body that interpenetrates it” and “a light circulatory system operating on an energetic level in a markedly different manner from that of its molecular counterparts” (2). That there is “an incredible amount of activity at levels of magnification or scale that span more than two-thirds of the 73 known octaves of the electromagnetic spectrum” (6) in the human body is emblematic of our vulnerability to electromagnetic disturbances.

Potential Immune Disturbances due to Electrosmog Exposure

[…]

A research group headed by Lushinov, for example, found that repeated exposures to low-level non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation impaired the immune response in mice, negatively influencing immunogenesis, or the ability of the immune response to respond to an immune-provocating antigenic substance (9). The exposure to low-intensity electromagnetic radiation negatively influenced thymic and splenic cellularity, causing a statistically significant decrease in the immune cells generated by these lymphoid organs (9). The immunocompetence of the Aegean wall lizard was also significantly reduced upon daily exposure to radiofrequency resembling the amount of electrosmog emitted from cordless phones (10).

Moreover, Gapeev and colleagues (2006) elucidated that exposure to low-intensity non-ionizing electromagnetic waves exerted equivalent immunosuppressive effects to a single dose of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) diclofenac (11). In another experiment, exposure to low-intensity electromagnetic radiation reduce the footpad edema and local hyperthermia, also known as swelling and heat, that accompanied injection of zymosan, an agent that induces acute inflammation (12). This constitutes evidence that electrosmog exposure may impair the normal immune response to potential threats.

Human Proteins are Responsive to Electromagnetic Waves

Biomolecules, which are constantly undergoing molecular collisions and interacting on the scale of picoseconds, are subject to forces exerted by incident electromagnetic fields (1). According to researchers Marshall and Heil, “It seems likely that signals a million times lower than those currently being used in research may be sufficient to elicit a tangible change in human biology” (1).

Induction of Stress Proteins

Electrosmog at both an extremely low-frequency (ELF) or in the radio frequency (RF) range has been found to stimulate a cellular stress response, leading to expression of stress response genes including heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) (13). As a consequence, there is increased production of highly conserved stress proteins, which serve as chaperones by refolding and repairing damaged proteins (13). Heat shock proteins have likewise been observed to up-regulate an immune response, “transferring antigenic peptides to the class I and class II molecules of the major histocompatibility complexes” as well as increasing activity of a class of immune cells which perpetuate an immune reaction, such as macrophages and dendritic cells (14).

Aberrant Anti-Microbial Response

In addition, the function of another human protein, lysozyme, has been shown to be disrupted by electromagnetic radiation (15). Also called muramidase, lysozyme is an antimicrobial enzyme liberated from cytoplasmic granules of immune cells such as granulocytes and macrophages (16). Contained in human secretions such as mucus, tears, saliva, and breast milk, this bacteriolytic element degrades glycosidic bonds in peptidoglycan, a molecule prominent in the cell walls of gram-positive bacteria (17).

Lysozyme is a major contributor to bactericidal activity, facilitating elimination of inhaled airborne microorganisms to prevent their colonization in the respiratory passages, which would interfere with sterile gas exchange (17). Studies have indicated that depletion of lysozyme reduces bacteria-killing ability of human airway sections by approximately fifty percent (18). Animal studies also highlight how lysozyme is especially important in host pulmonary defense, since, “Increased concentration of lysozyme in the airspaces of transgenic mice enhanced bacterial killing whereas lysozyme deficiency resulted in increased bacterial burden and morbidity” (17).

Turton and colleagues (2014) published a study in Nature Communications showing that non-ionizing terahertz electromagnetic radiation altered the binding of lysolyme to its ligand, triacetylchitotriose, which in turn would affect the biological function of lysozyme (15). Although this represents a much higher frequency than normal background electrosmog, the implications are that human immune defenses against pathogen invasion and virulence may be adversely affected due to repeated and cumulative exposures to electrosmog (15).

Derangements in Vitamin D Pathways

Research shows that Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) pathways are susceptible to interference by electrosmog (1). Functionality of the vitamin D receptor, a transcription factor that translocates to the nucleus and influences gene expression when bound to vitamin D, is fundamental for immunomodulation. The cascade of effects that occur upon vitamin D binding to its receptor reinforce gut barrier integrity, establish oral tolerance, and suppress autoimmune responses by enabling the immune system to differentiate self from non-self.

According to researchers, the shape of the VDR molecule transforms with electrosmog exposure within the frequency range of WiFi routers: “Groups of hundreds of atoms which form the helical “backbone” of the VDR…shift together at the lower frequencies present in electrosmog” (1). Sophisticated molecular dynamics software, which illustrates the lock-and-key interaction between the vitamin D receptor and its native ligand, 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin-D (1,25-D), have shown that so-called Lorentz forces act upon charged oxygen atoms in carboxyl groups of the vitamin D receptor (1). These Lorentz forces may either promote or hinder activation of the vitamin D receptor, depending on both the frequency of the “molecular interactions, and that of the impinging electromagnetic waves” (1).

Electrosmog Affects Human Brain Activity and Behavior

As far back as 1987, Bise published a pilot study wherein electrosmog exposure at levels dramatically lower than that observed in urban areas elicited transient changes in human brain waves and behavior (19). He reports, “Constructive and destructive interference patterns from standing waves within the skull possibly interact with the bioelectric generators in the brain, since electroencephalogram wave amplitudes and frequencies increased or decreased respectively at different radio wavelengths” (19).

What’s more, the literature reveals that neuroimaging and electroencephalography studies demonstrate enhanced cortical excitability with EMF exposure, particularly in the front-temporal regions, which is paradoxically correlated with faster reaction times, but may also interfere with sleep (20).

Alarmingly, the patterns observed in human electroencephalograms (EEG) was altered by wave amplitudes as low as -100 dBm (19). Bise was able to induce an immediate frontal headache at a level of -60 dBm (19). Unfortunately, barring use of a Faraday cage, these experiments are impossible to replicate since electrosmog background levels in cities are now 100,000 times stronger at -50 dBm (19).

Silver-Threaded EMF-Blocking Caps Improve Autoimmune Disease

In a recent case series, patients wore shielding clothing and tenting consisting of silver-coated polyester threads interspersed with bamboo fibers that were partially capable of blocking penetration of microwave electrosmog (1). Due to anecdotal testimonies of improvement, researchers decided to distribute standardized garments that would shield the brain and brain stem in order to systematically analyze the results (1).

In this study, 64 patients with assorted autoimmune diagnoses such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), multiple sclerosis (MS), Sjogren’s syndrome, and celiac disease, many of whom were disabled and house-bound, were recruited (1). Subjects wore the silver-threaded cap for four hours at night and for four hours during the day, and patient-reported outcomes were collected (1). Impressively, 90% of patients indicated a “definite” or “strong” change in their symptomatology, which is at variance with the 3% of the population that is estimated to be sensitive to electrosmog (1).

Electrosmog and Mitochondrial Dysfunction

Because electric fields result from voltage differences, whereas magnetic fields from the flow of electric current, EMFs may be capable of disrupting the finely orchestrated proton gradient and flow of electrons within the inner mitochondrial membrane upon which the process of oxidative phosphorylation is contingent (13). Oxygen-dependent aerobic respiration, which relies upon oxidative phosphorylation, is the process that drives production of the cellular energy currency adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in our cellular energy factories, the mitochondria.

These organelles are fundamental to every energy-dependent process in the body but especially quintessential for the energy-demanding nervous system. Thus, EMF-mediated changes in mitochondrial function may affect cognition and even perpetuate development of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s in which mitochondrial dysfunction has been demonstrated. In fact, EMF-induced disruption of mitochondria may play a role in many diseases in which mitochondrial collapse is implicated, including psychiatric disorders, autoimmune diseases, migraine headaches, ataxia, stroke, diabetes, heart disease, neuropathic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and liver disease (22, 23).

It has also been proposed that EMFs can interact directly with electrons in DNA, so it is not a stretch that EMFs could interact with the electron transport chain (ETC) in mitochondria (24). This concept is supported by a study where pulsed electromagnetic radiation (EMR) resulted in alterations in the ETC, leading to adverse metabolic changes, cellular hypoxia, and increased generation of oxidative stress inducing free radicals such as the superoxide anion (25).

Electrosmog and Cancer

Although the undoubtedly industry-influenced mainstream consensus is that EMFs do not play a role in the development of childhood cancers, “Kheifets and Shimkhada [2005] stated that epidemiologic studies of ELF-EMFs and childhood leukemia are difficult to design, conduct, and interpret due to the fact that EMFs are imperceptible, ubiquitous, have multiple sources, and can vary greatly over time and short distances” (13). Also, in an animal study, a correlation between ELF-EMF radiation and development of malignant tumors, specifically gliomas and schwannomas of the heart, was discovered (26).

These findings led the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) to revise their criteria for EMF exposure in children, and include recommendations such as using hands-free and wired headsets, holding the phone away from the head, limiting television watching, and texting when possible (13). Currently, a 14-country study called MOBI-Kids is being conducted to examine the carcinogenic effects of RF-EMFs from mobile telephones on the central nervous system in children and adolescents (27).

Further upstream, electrosmog has also been shown to induce DNA strand breakages, such that “Any extensive damage or changes to DNA that need repair may increase the risk of developing cancerous cells” (13). Studies also suggest that electrosmog causes genome-wide alterations in methylation (28), or the attachment of one-carbon tags to DNA sequences which modulate gene expression, affecting everything from neurotransmitter production to detoxification.

Class Struggles and Economic Inequality: Modi’s BJP Faces Major Setback in Indian Elections

Lallan Schoenstein

People attended a Maha Panchayat, or grand village council meeting, on September 5, 2021, in Muzaffarnagar, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India, as part of a farmers’ protest against agricultural laws.

In capitalist countries, free elections are said to be an expression of democracy, meaning that the people select their own government. In fact, these elections are anything but democratic.

The unexpectedly weak performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the Indian elections on June 5 reflects significant class struggles in the world’s most populous economy. With 1.4 billion people and nearly 970 million eligible voters, the election outcome highlights the deep class divisions within the country.

On June 4, the New York Times reported: “On Friday, on the eve of the election’s last day, India’s central bank delivered a happy surprise. Growth in the most recent quarter was even higher than economists expected, giving the past fiscal year an official rate of 8.2%.”

The Times print edition’s headline calls Mumbai “the new darling of Wall Street.” Modi’s decades-long rule has been revered by the wealthiest 1% in the U.S.

In India, the wealthiest 1% of Indians currently claim almost a quarter of the total income in the country. Inequality has surged during Modi’s rule, bringing about a poverty ratio that is worse than that before India became independent.

Income below the poverty line

Currently, more than 600 million Indians try to survive on an income below the World Bank poverty line.

The unemployment rate for those under 29 years of age stands at 17%. Food inflation has averaged 7.88%, with essential foods — roti (bread), dal (beans), and sabzi (vegetables) — registering double-digit inflation in the last 12 months.

In 2021 and again this January, farmers and agricultural workers from the northern states of Punjab and Haryana set road blockades to protest the revocation of agriculture laws passed by Parliament in 2020 that offered some financial protection to farmers.

During the past year, nearly 3,000 farmers have died by suicide in the state of Maharashtra, where the financial center of Mumbai is located. The Wall Street Journal reported on June 4 that in the rural district of Jalna, Digambre Jitangre, a farmer who earns less than $150 a month, said, “There is no drinking water here and there is little to earn with farming.”

Mohammad Ahmed, a 42-year-old farm laborer from Uttar Pradesh, stands at the main traffic intersection in his village, along with hundreds of others, hoping to pick up daily work. He said the number of people waiting at that traffic signal has increased tenfold over the last six years.

The Indian government’s structure is modeled after that of Britain, with a prime minister and 543 elected representatives in a parliament. The BJP lost 63 seats in the parliament in the election, bringing its total down to 240, well below the majority required to form a government. Now, it can only hold power with the support of its alliance partners.

The position of the prime minister rests on a majority in parliament. Modi, hoping to overcome the failure of unpopular right-wing politicians, focused the election campaign on building a Hindu-chauvinist personality cult around himself, even claiming that he was a Hindu god.

Brutal repression

The Modi campaign was based on the brutal repression of the rights of 20% of Indians who are not Hindu. His goal is to make India a Hindu state with an apartheid system akin to the Zionist entity in Palestine and white supremacist Jim Crow in the U.S. Violence against Muslims, the country’s largest religious minority, has escalated. Mouthing Nazi and racist rhetoric in an April speech, Modi called Muslims “infiltrators” and “those who have too many children.”

Modi’s regime is also attacking the predominantly Muslim territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, in the north of the subcontinent, revoking their limited autonomy and placing them under martial law.

Modi rose to power by inciting pogroms in which tens of thousands of Muslims were murdered. In 1992, he initiated a mob attack to demolish a 16th-century Muslim mosque in Ayodhya. This January, Modi attempted to fire up Hindu nationalism by inaugurating a new Hindu temple on the grounds of the former mosque, thereby fulfilling one of his key election promises.

Nevertheless, the BJP lost badly in Uttar Pradesh, the home of Ayodhya, where there is a large population of Dalits, an oppressed caste group. The Wall Street Journal quotes Gurmeet Singh, an 18-year-old Dalit voter, who said, “This election is about saving our constitution and the rights it gives us. Modi and BJP are actually anti-Hindu for using Hinduism for their political gains. They are also anti-India for dividing people on the basis of religion.”

The unparalleled support for Modi by U.S. politicians and the wealthiest class is not only based on investment in the enormous riches his regime has been able to extract. It is India’s strategic role as a world player in league with the U.S., Israel, and Europe as a bulwark in the New Cold War on China. Today, India’s rulers envision themselves as leaders of the Global South.

On June 5 at the People’s Forum in New York, a panel discussion hosted by Jewish Currents was held on the “India-Israel Alliance,” an alliance that nearly goes back to the foundation of the new Republic of India in 1947. There, it was explained that even during the 1950s, when India was a leader among non-aligned nations that condemned colonial domination, such as that occurring in Palestine, Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had begun secret negotiations with the Zionists for a role in controlling the region’s oil.

Jewish Currents and Middle East Eye host a discussion on the growing alliance between India and Israel. With speakers including Azad Essa, MEE senior reporter, Suchitra Vijayan of the Polis Project, and Raja Abdulhaq of Quds News Network, moderated by Aparna Gopalan of Jewish Currents, the event will explore the rise of far-right movements, military partnerships, and solidarity in the face of erasure and genocide.

Ties to Israel

India’s economic growth is not only supported by U.S. investment, it is closely tied to Israel and the Zionist military. It funds the Zionist regime with $3.7 billion a year. An Indian company owns the Haifa Port. Workers from India are recruited to replace the Palestinian workers from the West Bank. Indian police train in Israel and purchase Israeli security systems. Israel is supporting India’s development of high-tech weapon industries such as the manufacture of drones.

With the support of U.S. imperialism, India is striving to compete with and undermine the development of China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

In September 2023, the White House released a “Memorandum of Understanding on the Principles of an India – Middle East – Europe Economic Corridor.”

The International Multi-Modal Economic Corridor (IMEC) is an infrastructure project aimed at controlling trade and connectivity between Asia and Europe. It will consist of two distinct corridors: the eastern corridor, which will link India to the Arabian Gulf, and the northern corridor, which will connect the Arabian Gulf to Europe.

The IMEC is to have an extensive railway network and a cross-border ship-to-rail transit system to move goods and services across multiple countries, including India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel, and various European nations.

The U.S. has also created a military alliance similar to NATO called the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, or simply The Quad. It is a military alliance between Australia, India, Japan, and the U.S. designed to encircle and strangle China.

The International Monetary Fund published the most telling statistics about the New Cold War on China. From 2008 to 2020, China’s per capita income quadrupled while India’s grew 2.5 times. That places India at No. 138 in the national income ranking, while China is in 65th place.

Blind and deaf: Israel Has Lost Northern Palestine

By indi.ca

‘Israel’ has completely lost the north of occupied Palestine. It’s under fire and on fire every day now. Hezbollah has methodically eye-poked ‘Israel’s’ intelligence outposts and is literally blasting them in the nuts every day, on camera. The map above shows the new line of control for occupied Palestine, as reported by the thinking man’s Der Stürmer, Haaretz. ‘Israel’ has lost it.

Eyes And Ears

It’s fascinatingly boring how Hezbollah did this. For months their videos have been methodically mundane, blowing up this communication tower, that building, that listening station. It seemed like a bunch of nothing, but it adds up. Hezbollah had a list of ‘Israel’s’ eyes and ears in the north and has spent months methodically eye poking them, like Odysseus and the Cyclops. Now—however big the IOF might be—they’re effectively blinded.

As Hezbollah opens bigger and bigger gaps in ‘Israel’s’ air defenses, they can send bigger and more missiles in, with better and better penetration. For ‘Israel’, this attrition is a compounding problem. Their air defenses are a connected system and the network is increasingly returning 404. Take for example, the destruction of the $230 million dollar SKYDEW blimp/spy balloon.

This balloon is designed to detect low-flying drones and missiles, especially important as this is the vector most used by the Resistance. SKYDEW can stay up much longer (and relatively cheaper) than planes, and can ‘see’ much further than ground-based systems. It was also placed in a highly strategic area that let them cover attacks from Syria, Iraq and—to a lesser degree—from Hezbollah, specifically on the port of Haifa. But now the party’s over. Look at the balloon now:

SKYDEW is now as shriveled and useless as Joe Biden’s nutsack. This is a big loss, which also signals a big breakdown. As the SKYDEW ‘Target Card‘ (from Hezbollah intelligence) says, it was “protected by an electronic monitoring and jamming system against drones and UAVs (Drone Dome),” and “secured by three layers of missile interception systems: Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Hetz [Arrow].” That all got sliced through like the layers of an onion, leaving only Zionist tears behind.

The northern front is porous now, and the ‘settlers’ more than anybody knows it. As Moshe Davidovitz—head of the Asher regional council—said, “Ten rockets fell in the center of the country and the media is in an uproar — the country is in turmoil,” he wrote. “But every day dozens of rockets are fired towards the confrontation line settlements and the Galilee, including anti-tank missiles and suicide drones, and the country remains silent. Once again, it’s proof that the north is not being counted.”

Hezbollah of course, has counted the north. They have a list of ‘Israeli’ military targets and they go through them one by one. Take, for example, the Mount Meron Air Surveillance Base, one of the two main bases in ‘Israel’.

[…]

And this is what Hezbollah intelligence released, as they were bombing it:

Firstly, the Meron Air Surveillance Base is located on the summit of Mount Jarmaq [“Mount Meron”] in northern occupied Palestine, the highest peak in occupied Palestine. Meron Base is the sole center for administration, surveillance, and air control in the northern part of the usurping entity and there is no major alternative to it. It is one of two main bases in the entire usurping entity: “Meron” in the north, and the second being “Mitzpe Ramon” in the south.

The Meron Base is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and managing all air operations towards Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Cyprus, and the northern part of the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea. Additionally, this base is a main center for electronic jamming operations in the aforementioned directions and is staffed by a large number of elite officers and soldiers of the zionist forces.

Secondly, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance at 07:50 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024, as a part of the preliminary response to the crime of assassinating the great leader Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri and his martyr brothers in the southern suburb [Dahiyeh] of Beirut, targeted the Meron Air Surveillance Base with 62 missiles of various types, inflicting direct and confirmed hits.

I know the demonic testicles of Meron Air Base well, having seen Hezbollah come at them like sperm to an egg, over and over in countless videos. They’ve been relentless. It honestly gets boring because the whole thing never fireballs, but each small hit adds up. Each time a hole in ‘Israeli’ air defenses opens, the hole only gets bigger, because of Hezbollah is damaging complex, interconnected systems.

Now the Meron base can barely defend itself, let alone the region. ‘Israel’ has responded by assassinating Hezbollah (and Iranian) leaders, but the Resistance just names missiles after the martyrs and send more. This is a battle of attrition and Hezbollah is paying attention while ‘Israel’ is mindlessly lashing out. ‘Israel’ is completely distracted by a genocide in the south, and has lost the battle for the north.

After months of this boring de-administrative work, Hezbollah has finally gotten to the good stuff. ‘Israel’s’ northern air defenses today are like a ragged old mosquito net that the dog chased the cat through. It’s full of holes, and big ones. Hezbollah can increasingly fire at will, with increasingly accurate weapons. For example, here is Hezbollah taking down a SKYSTAR 330 by drone-striking its Battalion 869 operator literally in the nuts.

In this case, Hezbollah targeted not the spy balloon itself, but the balloon controllers, in three locations at the same time. With the operators eliminated, the balloon drifted out of control, landing in Lebanon where some kids recovered it. This is the state of ‘Israel’s’ eyes and ears in the north. They’re on the ground.

Iron Dome

‘Israel’ has nothing worth calling an air-defense in the north anymore. The Iron Dome is done. Hezbollah can fire at will, and has for every single day for seven months now. Iraqi Resistance missiles are flying right over them, towards Haifa. Iran can overwhelm the entire national system whenever it wants. ‘Israel’ can still offend the conscience, but they’re missile defenseless now. Even Hamas is hitting them, from within traumatized Gaza. It’s open season, and the ‘settlers’ know it.

‘Israeli’ settlers openly bemoan their unsettled state all over the Hebrew press. Some settlers were so Pyrrhicly pissed they threatened to secede from the entire abomi-nation and form the new State of Galilee. As The Jerusalem Post (the ethnic cleanser’s preferred real estate supplement) said,

The straw that broke the camel’s back was the prime minister’s answer at the cabinet meeting to a question by Benny Gantz, as reported by N12. Gantz wondered if the residents would return to their homes on September 1, for the start of the school year, and Netanyahu replied, “What’s the worst that will happen if they return a few months after September 1?”

This is of course the worst that can happen. The entire premise of ‘Israel’ is that they can do whatever they want and fuck everyone else. If the Iron Dome doesn’t work, ‘Israel’ doesn’t work, and the Iron Dome doesn’t work. It’s the Iron Sieve now. Holy warriors have poked it full of holes.

An Iron Dome battery, all busted up.

This is a huge problem because the Iron Dome is not just ‘Israel’s’ physical defense mechanism, it’s their psychological defense mechanism. It’s what makes the whole colonial project believable, that they can piss off everyone in the region and suffer no consequences. Belief in the ‘Iron Dome’ is belief in ‘Israel’ and neither is believable anymore. Thus the northern ‘settlements’ have emptied out and they’re not coming back anytime soon. As the Resistance News Network (RNN) said (on May 29th):

930 settler houses in northern occupied Palestine have been damaged by Hezbollah rockets in 86 settlements since October 7th, according to the zionist Ministry of War.

In Al-Manara for example, 130 out of 155 houses were destroyed. “Metulla” has just 34 residents left in the settlement, at most. “Kiryat Shmona,” one of the largest settlements, has seen its population plummet from 24,000 to under 4,000, and 124 houses have been damaged within it.

This comes as over 200,000 settlers in the north are displaced by the resistance, having built their own refugee camp. Some want to secede from “Israel” and build their own state, while others, such as the settlement of “Margaliot” have severed their ties with the entity as of yesterday.

Perplexingly, the IOF reportedly plans to significantly cut down the number of soldiers it has on the northern border and nearby settlements, citing funding reasons, or perhaps to lessen the number of targets available to Hezbollah.

Let’s look at one example of Hezbollah eliminating one target, an Iron Dome battery. They systematically do this over and over. This Al Jazeera report describes how Hezbollah first gets the battery to reveal itself by firing bullshit at it, then hits it with the real shit:

At 3:30, exclusive footage reveals the monitoring and reconnaissance operations that enabled Hezbollah to uncover the positions of “Iron Dome” batteries stations near the settlement of “Kfar Blum” using a tactic called “fire luring.” The footage reveals that Hezbollah launched munitions toward the sites and documented the interception process carried out by the “Iron Dome,” which enabled Hezbollah to execute a high-precision qualitative operation.

The scenes at 4:25 reveal a successful targeting of the “Iron Dome” batteries, without them being able to detect, track, or thwart the attack. Then, exclusive photos obtained by Al Jazeera show Hezbollah’s intelligence penetration of the IOF soldiers in these newly established sites, and the ability to document the geographical details and the size of the fortifications used.

Hezbollah has done this over and over, methodically hunting and seeking Iron Dome batteries one by one. Given that the rest of their surveillance equipment is decimated and they can’t even see what’s coming, ‘Israel’ has to then draw its military assets further and further from the border. Otherwise this is what happens:

This is the moment Hezbollah hits “the garrison unit of Barkat Risha with an Iranian Almas top-attack ATGM [Anti-Tank Guided Missile].” ‘Israel’—unlike Hezbollah and Hamas—has not spent the last 20 years tunneling underground, so their soldiers are all exposed without the Iron Dome. Take also, for example, the IOF’s 769th Brigade Headquarters, or what’s left of it.

The colonial condom is full of holes and ‘Israel’ is pregnant with a Palestine reborn. When the soldiers leave, the settlers have to leave also, it’s a total failure of colonization. This is not a strategic retreat, it’s strategic defeat. This is not a solution, just dissolution. But it’s all ‘Israel’ can do. They’ve lost control of the north and, worst of all, they’ve lost control of the tempo of this war. Hezbollah can keep turning the heat up and up until ‘Israel’ is cooked. Behold Kiryat Shmona (occupied al-Khalisa), which is literally on fire right now:

This is directly because the Iron Dome is not intercepting drones and Hezbollah has fire control of the whole region. Hence it burns. Settlers now see a ‘welcome’ board that’s literally melting. The message is clear. ‘Fuck off’.

I have watched this process play out for the past seven months, and now the grapes of wrath bear fruit. Hezbollah has fire control over the north, while ‘Israel’ is retreating further and further. The collapse of the northern front also opens up ‘Israel’ for attack from Syria and Iraq, which can fly straight through. This is all causing massive psychological damage to ‘Israel’ because the Iron Dome was their safety blanket, and now they have to face the skeletons under their bed alone. This is all because Hezbollah had a strategy while ‘Israel’ was just ratchety, bombing ambulances and homes with no military value. Now ‘Israel’ has lost northern Palestine and it’s not coming back. This is decolonization in action. ‘Israel’ has lost the north and a liberated Palestine is slowly coming into view.

The move is intended to help avoid mass blackouts due to energy infrastructure damage from Russian airstrikes

The Ukrainian government on Friday ordered all state institutions to stop using air conditioning and switch off outdoor lighting to ease pressure on the energy grid due to damage from Russian airstrikes. The decision was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmigal on his official Telegram channel.

According to the senior official, the measure will be in force throughout the summer and will help save power, avoiding the mass outages that have plagued the country over the past several months.

“The situation in the energy sector is complicated. We are working on restoring what can be restored quickly… but we must reduce consumption, starting with ourselves,” Shmigal stated at a cabinet meeting on Friday.

“Mass blackouts in most cities and regions are related to the fact that the temperature is rising, along with the use of air conditioning – in Kiev, this is 350 mega-watts, half of the total consumption… This will give us significant power savings,” he added.

The prime minister encouraged local governments, law enforcement institutions, judicial authorities and businesses to limit the use of air conditioners “wherever possible,” and appealed to local authorities in Ukrainian regions to place “reasonable restrictions” on street lighting, as well as street signs and advertising banners.

Moscow began targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure in October 2022, following the bombing of Russia’s Crimean Bridge. It resumed the attacks in March this year, striking generation and distribution facilities across the country, with the Russian Defense Ministry explaining that the decision came in response to Kiev targeting oil depots and refineries in Russia. Moscow has repeatedly stressed that its strikes on Ukraine are not aimed at civilians.

Estimates on the damage sustained by Ukraine’s energy facilities differ. Earlier this week, Shmigal noted that Ukraine had so far lost roughly 9.2 gigawatts of power generation capacity, with the damage likely to take years to repair. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba previously said that Russian strikes had damaged half of the power grid, while former infrastructure minister Aleksey Kucherenko in late May claimed that as much as 90% of power generation capacity had been destroyed.

The government has been working on ways to conserve energy and repair the damaged infrastructure. It recently imposed lengthy power cuts across the country, and earlier this month raised consumer electricity tariffs by 60% to fund repairs. Ukraine is also considering the abolition of import duties and VAT on everything that generates and stores electricity, and intends to offer loans to citizens who install their own power generation units. Other plans include stepping up electricity imports from the EU.

Donald Trump has become problem for US elites

The popularity of the former US president threatens the very system from which the ruling classes derive their benefits

Donald Trump intends to continue his US election campaign despite the jury’s guilty verdict in his New York trial. The former president has declared himself a political prisoner and insists the trial against him was rigged. Trump faces jail time. The next court session will be held on July 11.

It’s fair to say the pre-election situation in America has reached a stage of heightened tensions. Trump’s campaign headquarters raised more than $50 million within a day of his sentencing.

So, what will his sentence be? Theoretically, he could go to prison. According to the US constitution, this does not prevent a candidate from standing for election and, even if he wins, from leading the country.

It seems unbelievable, but in today’s reality, anything is possible, including this. And if such a thing were to happen, it would be a serious failure of the Western world and everything associated with it. From all points of view. So, most likely, it won’t be allowed to happen. Nevertheless, Trump’s supporters have made it clear that the accusation has only increased his popularity. So, it turns out that it’s not only Russia that loves the persecuted. America does too. Although it is obviously premature to say anything now, because the outcome of the battle is far from clear. Or maybe it is just beginning.

But here’s the interesting thing: there’s an obvious populist with a tarnished reputation, who is unpredictable and generally a negative character, but he’s still popular. Why is that? Because the democratic world is at the mercy of sometimes completely crazy ideas. You don’t have to go far for examples: the leading American universities are involved in pro-Palestinian demonstrations, yet nobody cares about what happened on October 7. The Houthis in Yemen are shelling American aircraft carriers, no more, no less. And Washington barely reacts. Democratic governments tolerate almost everything as long as there is no war. This is what leads to the collapse of democracies and the rise of authoritarian populist leaders. But enough of obvious truths.

Moving on. Trump has become a big problem for the American elites. So there is probably a step-by-step plan to gently push him out of power. Here is a formula: withdraw from the election in exchange for removing the lawsuits. But the problem is that there are laws, constitutions and other instruments in the country that do not allow this. And the public won’t understand. They will support Trump even more.

However, the legal route is more complicated, but if done properly, it can achieve the desired result. In any case, reforms are needed on a global scale. And what about Russia? What is happening now is the road to chaos. And that is not good for anyone. The consequences could be tragic. Nuclear ashes.
