James A Shannon, director of the US National Institutes of Health 1955-68, said: ‘No vaccination can be proven safe before it is given to children.’

When he made that statement, it was still possible in the US to sue vaccine manufacturers under tort law for vaccine-induced deaths and injuries, which is no longer the case.

Today the US has the world’s most aggressive vaccine schedule and ranks as the sickest country, with the highest infant mortality, in the developed world. The UK does not lag far behind.

Vaccines carry three separate areas of potential risk. Firstly, they artificially stimulate the immune system to produce antibodies, which temporarily inhibits another part of the body’s defence mechanism. In an infant, whose immune system is just developing, this high demand of energy can in some cases overwhelm its metabolic reserves, and cause brain inflammation. The brain is the highest energy-consuming tissue in the body, followed by the gastro-intestinal tract and the immune system.

Secondly, vaccines contain chemicals, metals and drugs. Thirdly, according to the former pharmaceutical R&D executive Sasha Latypova, traditional vaccines are consistently contaminated with plant and animal proteins which hyper-sensitise the body, especially in children, giving rise to allergies.

In the US in the 1970s there were three inoculations recommended for children: the combined diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough) (DTP), polio, and the combined measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), introduced there in 1971. The DTP which was used in the US until 1992 contained the carcinogen formaldehyde. Both the DTP and the MMR contained the preservative thimerosal, which is almost 50 per cent mercury, and in infants can pass through the blood-brain barrier.

A wave of sudden infant deaths (SIDs), severe brain injuries, seizures and other neurological problems were linked through studies to the DTP. In 1977, a study published in the Lancet established that the risks of the whole-cell pertussis used in the DTP vaccine exceeded the risks associated with wild pertussis. Six years later, in 1983, a National Institutes of Health-funded study found that Wyeth’s DTP vaccine was killing or causing severe brain damage to 1 in 300 vaccinated children.

Lawsuits against the manufacturers shot up. In 1984, the president of pharmaceutical manufacturer Lederle declared that the dollar demand of DTP lawsuits against the company was 200 times greater than their total sales of DTP vaccine in 1983. Another vaccine manufacturer, Connaught Laboratories, had damages suits filed against it in 1985/6 amounting to a billion dollars. Wyeth, now Pfizer, faced a similar plight, and bankruptcy threatened the industry as insurers withdrew their indemnity cover.

The industry therefore lobbied Congress for a liability shield from damages, which led to the passing of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act in 1986, and the establishment of the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) in 1988, administered by the US government through the Health and Human Services Department.

Parents of vaccine-injured children from 1988 were directed to apply to what is commonly referred to as the ‘Vaccine Court’ to present their cases. This was supposed to be a neutral forum where the adversarial nature of civil litigation was removed, their cases would be dealt with swiftly and compensation, where applicable, paid in a timely manner. The reality could not be more different, and how the ‘Vaccine Court’ actually operates will be described in Part 2.

Meanwhile, freed from any consequences and related costs of selling unsafe products, vaccine manufacturers wasted no time in creating new lucrative vaccines and lobbying Congress to include them in the Childhood Vaccine Schedule. That same year of 1988, Hepatitis B and the Hib vaccine, against haemophilus influenza type B, were introduced, both containing mercury-laden thimerosal. In The Real Anthony Fauci, Robert F Kennedy Jr writes that more than 450 studies attested to thimerosal’s devastating toxicity, and because testosterone amplifies the neurotoxicity of the mercury molecule, boys were disproportionately affected.

Cases of autism, ADHD, speech delay, and other neurological conditions soared, in direct parallel with the fast-expanding vaccine schedule. In 1986 autism cases in the US were approximately 1 in 2,500. By 2017 they had jumped to 1 in 36. From the three recommended vaccines in 1986, by 2017 the schedule had risen to 69 doses of 16 vaccines.

Not one paediatric vaccine has ever been tested for safety against a genuine placebo. In 2017 TV producer Del Bigtree asked the US Department of Healthand Human Services (HHS) how it justified licensing any paediatric vaccine without first conducting a long-term clinical trial in which the rate of adverse reactions in the subject group was compared with a control group receiving an inert placebo. In January 2018 the HHS replied: ‘Inert placebo controls are not required to understand the safety profile of a new vaccine.’ 

If randomised control trials (RCTs), the so-called gold standard of safety testing, are kicked aside, how can any conclusions reached on the safety profile of a product be scientifically valid?

There are, however, real-life comparison studies between cohorts of vaccinated and unvaccinated children.

As reported by RFK Jr’s Children’s Health Defense, for years American paediatrician Paul Thomas, now retired, witnessed healthy 12-month-olds regress into severe autism following the MMR vaccination, so in 2010 he devised a new, bespoke approach to the vaccination of children in his practice Integrative Pediatric.  He offered parents a comprehensive discussion and autonomy over whether to vaccinate their children as per the US schedule, selectively vaccinate them, with longer intervals between shots, or not vaccinate them at all.

As reported in TCW yesterday, he and colleague James Lyons-Weiler PhD studied the health outcomes of the children over almost ten years, and in 2020 published the results in a groundbreaking paper which showed unequivocally that unvaccinated children enjoy better health than vaccinated children. The results showed a dramatic reduction of cases of ADHD and autism. They were almost entirely absent in the unvaccinated cohort, and greatly reduced in the partially vaccinated cohort. The same applied to anaemia, asthma, allergies, dermatitis, eczema, ear and eye infections and sinusitis.

In a recent discussion with Paul Thomas, the mother of an autistic son explained that he had been developing normally until he received the MMR vaccine, when his temperature shot up, he came out in an appalling rash, and screamed incessantly while hitting his head against the wall. She said she kept telephoning her paediatrician, who said it was ‘normal’.

Dr Thomas explained that when paediatricians say it is ‘normal’, what they mean is it is ‘common’. Many in the medical profession have become so blinded by dogma that they see frequency as indicating normality and cease to recognise what is profoundly abnormal.

That one vaccine-generation child in two graduates from high school in the US taking medication for a chronic condition should be regarded as both highly abnormal and an indictment of US public health policy.

How this has been allowed is, at least in part, down to the corrupted working of the US Vaccine Court, and the total protection from liability this gives to Big Pharma and its profit driven vaccine enterprise, and I will discuss this in Part 2.

WE are constantly told by our health authorities that childhood vaccinations help train young immune systems and that vaccinated children are healthier than unvaccinated. How do governments know this? They don’t. It is pure supposition. They have no definitive proof because of a lack of double-blind placebo-controlled trials and no official vax versus unvaxxed studies. But more than 100 official papers do exist and they do not support government assertions. Vaccinated children suffer higher levels of chronic illness and autoimmune disease than unvaccinated children.

Brian Hooker is co-author of a book that looks at all those papers. He is is Professor of Biology at Simpson University, Redding, California, and like most parents he believed in childhood vaccination until his 15-month-old son was injured by three vaccines: the diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (DTaP), oral polio, and haemophilus influenzae type b (HIB).

‘He had an ear infection at the time and should not have received the vaccines, but the doctor said it was fine,’ said Professor Hooker. ‘He lost eye contact, was unable to walk unaided and he never recovered.’ And yes, he did go on to get the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine because the doctors did not make the association between his son’s regression and the vaccines, and neither had Professor Hooker. His son is now 25, non-verbal, has gastrointestinal problems, mitochondrial dysfunction and is diagnosed with autism. There is no cure.

For 25 years Professor Hooker, who also has a degree in chemical engineering, has campaigned for recognition of vaccine injury, and thought he would get somewhere in 2014 after the US Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) epidemiologist and senior researcher Dr William Thompson sent him a study that showed a correlation between autism, the MMR, and African-American boys. It was a study Thompson sat on for ten years before it was released. It showed that African-American children who received the MMR before they reached 36 months had 2.4 times greater odds of an autism diagnosis compared with children receiving the MMR after 36 months.

It should have been a huge red flag but had no major impact and was not widely reported in mainstream media, although President Donald Trump wanted to create a Vaccine Safety Commission to conduct these studies. However he accepted a million dollars from Pfizer for his inauguration and unsurprisingly, the Vaccine Safety Commission was shot down before it was even formed.

For 38 years, Dr Anthony Fauci was head of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). He has been a barrier to vax vs unvaxxed studies and claimed that double-blind placebo-controlled vaccine trials which had been conducted contained all the evidence needed. When challenged by lawyers Robert F Kennedy Jnr (now running for president) and Aaron Siri in 2017, on behalf of Del Bigtree, the presenter and vaccine injury campaigner who created the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), Fauci said he would send the evidence. It never materialised so they sent a legal demand. On June 27, 2018, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) admitted in writing that no such studies existed.

Many vaccines have long-term health impacts which do not become evident for years. In a 1999 interview, Fauci acknowledged that many severe injuries would remain hidden, and if the agency rushed vaccines to approval ‘then you find out that it takes 12 years for all hell to break loose, and then what have you done?’

American children receive 71 vaccination doses, and the heads of the vaccine programme were unable to produce any double-blind placebo-controlled trial to support their safety. The CDC says that one in 36 children has a diagnosis of autism and the numbers are similar in the UK, but no one has identified a cause.

A shocking fact is that when vaccine manufacturers create a childhood vaccine, they do not use saline for the control group. They will either use a different vaccine, a different version of the vaccine they are testing, or an adjuvant. For example, neurotoxic, amorphous aluminum hydroxyphosphate sulphate (AAHS), an adjuvant, was used as a control in the human papillomavirus (HPV) Gardasil trial with devastating results.

Governments justify this by saying that adverse events are only ‘one-in-a-million’. This figure is quoted by all Western countries with vaccine programmes but how have they come to it? The US government compares the number of vaccine injuries compensated by the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP) with the total number of vaccines given in the US. Most vaccine-injured people have no idea about the scheme and doctors rarely correlate vaccination injury to the onset of debilitating symptoms. Most doctors deny it exists. In the UK, people can apply to the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme (VDPS), but most do not know about this either. The scheme is restrictive, a claimant must prove 60 per cent disability caused by vaccines with a small one-off payment of £120,000 if successful.

The truth will always out and Professor Hooker and his friend RFK Jnr have found elusive, but official, vax vs unvaxxed publications hidden in the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) archive in the global research database PubMed. Professor Hooker said: ‘We have so far identified over 100 peer-reviewed articles from open, peer-reviewed, scientific, and medical literature.’

Here are the results from just two, but without fail the book’s studies show that vaccinated children fare worse when it comes to robust health. The numbers differ slightly, which is to be expected, but unvaccinated children are on the bottom percentile.

A particularly shocking finding in the following study is that no unvaccinated children suffer with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) compared with 5.3 per cent of the vaccinated group.

The ‘Relative Incidence of Office [doctor’s surgery] Visits and Cumulative Rates of Billed Diagnoses along the Axis of Vaccination’ is by Dr James Lyons-Weiler, director of the Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Dr Paul Thomas, a paediatrician from Portland, Oregon, who was struck off because of the study, reinstated, then resigned due to restrictions on his terms of practice.

In this powerful paper they took a unique approach to investigating the vax versus unvaxxed health differences of the children in Dr Thomas’s medical practice. Rather than examining whether children had been diagnosed with the disorders studied, they compared the number of office visits associated with specific diagnoses in vax versus unvaxxed children.

Lyons-Weiler wrote: ‘Our measure, the Relative Incidence of Office Visits (RIOV), is sensitive to the severity of disease and disorder – specifically, the disease burden.’ RIOV also reflects the frequency of recurring diseases such as fever, ear infections, and respiratory infections.

They compared 2,763 fully and partially vaccinated children with 561 unvaccinated children. The vaccinated children had significantly more office visits associated with ear infections, conjunctivitis, breathing issues, anaemia, eczema, behavioural issues, gastroenteritis, weight and eating disorders, and respiratory infections than the unvaccinated children, although unvaccinated children experienced more chickenpox and pertussis (whooping cough).

Due to the meagre rates of certain conditions in Dr Thomas’s practice, such as developmental disorder, the researchers could not determine statistically significant differences between the two groups. However, the ADHD figures were significant, 5.3 per cent vaccinated compared with zero unvaccinated.

The study was published in November 2020 in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health which then came under pressure to retract it, which it did. The retraction statement included a brief, vague explanation: ‘Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the editorial office regarding the validity conclusions of the published research.’

The other example study considered in this article is Analysis of Health Outcomes in Vaccinated and Unvaccinated Children: Developmental Delays, Asthma, Ear Infections and Gastrointestinal Disorders conducted by Professor Hooker and medical research journalist Neil Miller and published in the journal SAGE Open Medicine in 2020. 

They examined the medical records from three different paediatric practices in the US. They followed 2,047 patients from birth to a minimum age three years, and a maximum age of 12.5 years. They divided the children into two groups: those who received any vaccines before their first birthday (69.1 per cent) and those who did not (30.9 per cent). The authors accounted for diagnoses only after a child’s first birthday to establish that vaccination preceded the first diagnosis of illness or disorder.

As shown in Figure 2.4, vaccinated chil­dren were diagnosed with developmental delays at 2.18 times greater odds, asthma at 4.49 times greater odds, and ear infections at 2.13 times greater odds than unvaccinated children. These odds ratios were statistically significant.

Breastfeeding provided protection against a child developing asthma but not as much as for breastfed and unvaccinated babies. For example, unvaccinated babies who were bottle-fed were 5.4 times more likely to develop asthma than unvaccinated breastfed babies. Vaccinated and breastfed babies were 10.7 times more likely to develop asthma while vaccinated and bottle-fed babies were 23.8 times more likely to develop asthma.

Our governments should be protecting our children, and independent studies into the vaccination programme are long overdue. The reason they will not tackle this hot potato is purely financial: it could cost billions in compensation and could potentially bankrupt countries. So it is up to parents to ask questions, research and protect their children.
