How Star Gossip Columnist Ended Up Dead for Digging Too Deep Into JFK Assassination

Dorothy Kilgallen

By Jeremy Kuzmarov

On January 31, New York City councilman Robert Holden wrote a letter to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg calling for reopening of the investigation into the death of Dorothy Kilgallen.

Described by Ernest Hemingway as “one of the greatest women writers in the world,” Kilgallen was a regular on the CBS game show What’s My Line who wrote a column for the New York Journal-American during the early 1960s that was syndicated to 200 newspapers.[1]

After John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, Kilgallen was one of the few journalists to question the findings of the Warren Commission report that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin.

Kilgallen interviewed Jack Ruby at his trial and exposed his Warren Commission testimony before its release date, causing FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover to become a mortal enemy.[2]

If she had lived past the age of 52, Kilgallen’s goal was to expose evidence pointing to the truth about the JFK assassination and corruption at the Warren Commission passed on to her by Commission member Senator John Sherman Cooper of Kentucky in a “tell-all” book she was writing for Random House.

Kilgallen’s body was found in her Manhattan townhouse on the morning of November 8, 1965, sitting upright in a bed in the master bedroom.

Kilgallen’s death was officially determined to have been caused by a combination of alcohol and barbiturates, with the police stating that there was no indication of violence or suicide. New York City Medical Examiner James Luke said that the circumstances of her death were undetermined, though “the overdose could well have been accidental.”

However, numerous people close to Kilgallen recognized at the time that the overdose was not accidental. The chief counsel of 1979 House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA), G. Robert Blakey, said that though the HSCA’s look into Kilgallen’s death was not substantial, “we thought it was fishy.”[3]

Kilgallen’s hairdresser Marc Sinclaire, the first to report Kilgallen’s death at 9:30 a.m. on November 8 after passing by her home, was suspicious because a) Kilgallen was found in a room where she did not normally sleep wearing fancy clothes she would not have gone to sleep in; b) was found sitting up with a book turned upside down (The Honey Badger by Robert Ruark) she had finished weeks before; c) had poor eyesight and required glasses to read but no glasses were found in the room where she died; and d) because a police car was parked outside the townhouse when Sinclaire got there, though Kilgallen’s death had not yet been reported.

Sinclaire ruled out suicide further because Dorothy was a) religiously Catholic; b) cheerful about life; c) at the peak of her fame, earning an income of $200,000 per year (equivalent to $1.5 million today); and d) intent on completing her tell-all book on the JFK assassination.

Sinclaire also knew that Kilgallen would not overdose because she did not have a drug problem or drink heavily. In the days before her death, additionally, she had confided in him her belief that someone close to her was a “snitch” who was watching her closely and feeding information to people who wished to do her harm.[4]

Cracking the Case

Mark Shaw is a former criminal defense attorney and TV legal analyst who researched the Kilgallen case for a long period and appears to have solved it.

Shaw first learned about the Kilgallen case while practicing law with Melvin Belli, Jack Ruby’s attorney in the 1980s, and developed great admiration for Kilgallen.

In three books—The Reporter Who Knew Too Much (2016); Collateral Damage (2021); and Fighting For Justice (2022)—he lays out the evidence about Kilgallen’s murder and shows who was behind it.

One of the oddities that Shaw found was that Kilgallen’s death certificate—which pointed to her death being accidental—was signed by Dr. Dominick DiMaio, the deputy chief of the Office of the Medical Examiner (ME) in Brooklyn, even though Kilgallen was found dead in Manhattan.

Shaw was told by one of his sources, Stephen Goldner, a forensic toxicologist at the Manhattan ME’s office, that it was “known or rumored that DiMaio was known to take care of things for the mafia.”[8]

Goldner had told Eileen Broich, the wife of his colleague John Broich, that he was writing a book about how the Mafia “controlled the New York City ME’s office in the mid 1960s.” He also told Broich’s son Chris that his dad had been “one of the heroes because he wouldn’t alter toxicology reports like others did in the MEs office.”[9]

Kilgallen was found with two barbiturates in her bloodstream that she had never before consumed—Nembutal and Tuinal—which indicated foul play.

There were two glasses present at her bedside table, which meant that someone was in the bedroom with her when she died. Kilgallen’s butler James Clement, told Kilgallen’s daughter that he remembered that Dorothy was accompanied by a man when she arrived home during the early morning hours before she died.

Evidence that her drink had been spiked was reflected in the fact that powdered traces of the barbiturates were found on one of the glasses at her bedside. If by some chance she had committed suicide, Kilgallen would have taken it in capsule form, which would have left no residue. Shaw writes that the “powdered barbiturates undercut the accidental death conclusion of ME Dr. Luke.”[10]

The accidental death conclusion is further undercut by the fact that Kilgallen was found wearing false eyelashes, a hairpiece and makeup that she never wore to bed, which indicated that she was dressed up after she had been killed.

[…]

The million-dollar question that Shaw had to try to answer was who Kilgallen’s guest was who was drinking from the second glass that was found at her bedside.

His answer is a fellow journalist named Ronald Pataky, a film and drama critic for The Columbus Citizen-Journal, who had met Kilgallen in June 1964 on the set of The Sound of Music in Austria during a press junket. Friends called Pataky, to whom Dorothy gave an apartment and Thunderbird automobile, Dorothy’s “boy toy.” [Pataky was 23 years younger than Kilgallen][12]

[…]

After he dropped out of Stanford University in the mid 1950s, Pataky allegedly enrolled in the School of the Americas in Panama, the infamous CIA training ground for Latin American security forces.

In late 2019, Shaw was told by a credible confidential source, the Las Vegas Sands Hotel and Casino pit boss during the 1960s who had experience working for the FBI and CIA, that Pataky had landed in some kind of trouble prior to Kilgallen’s death. He was saved by agreeing to become a mole and do dirty work for CIA and FBI agents and underworld figures who were closely monitoring Kilgallen’s JFK investigation and intentions to publish a Random House book.[13]

Pataky’s key task was to provide his handlers with the secret information that Kilgallen had uncovered in the course of her investigation—information that was lethal in nature.

According to Shaw, Kilgallen and Pataky, on the night of her death, had drinks at the Regency Hotel bar in a back booth where Pataky likely slipped the barbiturates into Dorothy’s drink.

Afterwards, Pataky drove Dorothy back to her townhouse and gave her a glass of water and transferred the remnants of the Nembutal (barbiturate) onto the rim of the glass.

Pataky then assisted Dorothy in getting to her bedroom, and as she passed out, began to search for her JFK assassination research file, including in her closet where Dorothy’s clothes were found strewn about the next morning.

As Pataky searched Dorothy’s house, Shaw believes that he found her dead on the bathroom floor after she had ingested some Pepto Bismol because of her stomach pain. In the minutes before, Dorothy likely experienced bradycardia, a condition marked by a slow heart rate accompanied by dizziness and fainting.

When the body was discovered in the bathroom, Pataky and, possibly, the butler Clement, and Dorothy’s estranged husband, Richard Kollmar, who stayed on a lower floor and discovered Kilgallen’s body, undressed her, replacing her soiled dress with the clothes she was wearing when she was discovered by Marc Sinclaire.[14]

According to Shaw, Pataky panicked when he could not find her JFK assassination file and phoned his contacts. They called FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, who sent his operatives to Kilgallen’s townhouse in search of the file. These were the FBI agents (or rogue agents posing as FBI agents) that James Clement saw taking boxes of Kilgallen’s documents and papers away despite his protest.

Taking cues from Hoover, the police only came into Dorothy’s townhouse at 3:00 p.m., hours after Marc Sinclaire had discovered Dorothy’s body and reported her death.

[…]

Kilgallen’s column on November 14, 1965, “Why Did Oswald Risk All by Shooting Cop,” questioned whether Oswald was the one who shot police officer J.D. Tippit after killing Kennedy, as was alleged.

Kilgallen wrote that “a man who knows he is wanted by the authorities after a spectacular crime does not seek out a policeman usually unless he decided to give himself up, and certainly Oswald was not doing that.”[26]

Kilgallen had been tipped off by a witness, Acquila Clemons, who, contrary to the Warren Report, said that she saw two men involved in the murder of Officer J.D. Tippit, not one, and that neither of the men resembled Oswald.[27]

Kilgallen also reported that Tippit had met with Jack Ruby in Ruby’s Carousel club eight days before the assassination, indicating he may have been part of the conspiracy to assassinate JFK.[28]

Later investigators determined that Oswald could not have been in the location that Tippit was shot at the time Tippit was killed.[29]

Because of the wide reach of her columns, Kilgallen served as a conduit for information supplied to her on the JFK assassination by Mark Lane, a lawyer who wrote the 1966 best-selling book Rush to Judgment, the first book to critique the Warren Commission.[30]

[…]

Kilgallen was indeed subjected to FBI surveillance, with the FBI tapping her home phone line. The CIA also had 53 field offices around the world watching her on her foreign travels.[33]

At one point, two FBI agents visited Kilgallen to find out how she got Ruby’s testimony before the Warren Commission. She made the agents tea but told them that she could never reveal how she got that exhibit or who gave it to her.[34]

J. Edgar Hoover, in one of the reports that he received, scribbled “Wrong” next to a copy of Kilgallen’s November 29, 1963, column, “Oswald File Must Not Close.”

The column questioned how “Ruby—the owner of a strip-tease honky tonk—could have strolled in and out of police headquarters in Dallas as if it were a health club at a time when a small army of law enforcers were keeping a ‘tight security guard’ on Oswald.”

Kilgallen further wrote that “so many people were saying there was something queer about the killing of Oswald, something strange about the way his case was handled, a great deal missing in the official account of his crime. The American people have just lost a beloved president. It was a dark chapter in our history, but we have the right to read every word of it [the Oswald file]. It cannot be kept locked in a file in Dallas.”[35]

In another column, Kilgallen called the Warren Commission report “laughable” and wrote of Jack Ruby’s statement to her that “the world will never know the true facts of what occurred. My motives, the people who had, that had so much to gain and had such a material motive to put me in the position I’m in would never let the true facts come above board to the world.”[36]

Kilgallen interviewed Ruby twice, including a private 30 minute interview in the chambers of Judge Joe Brown absent his bodyguards, and came to believe that Ruby was a patsy who had been used and then discarded by the coordinators of the Kennedy assassination.[37]

Doctors Offer to Euthanize Woman Paralyzed by Covid Shot

After COVID “booster” shot left woman PARALYZED, doctors offered to EUTHANIZE her to “make up for it”
Dr Eddy Betterman

A 37-year-old mother from Ontario, Canada, was left paralyzed after getting “boosted” with Moderna’s mRNA (modRNA) booster shot for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). And the only thing doctors are offering her as a solution is euthanasia.

Kayla Pollock, who is completely paralyzed from the neck down, says her life became a “living hell” after taking Moderna’s booster shot, which the company promises will keep patients extra safe from the latest strains of the Chinese flu. Doctors are reportedly trying to “make up for it,” referring to Pollock’s paralyzed state, by pulling the plug on her life via Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program.

Canada’s government-run medical system is urging Pollock to sign up for assisted suicide, promising her that they would do everything possible to get her application accepted. Doing this, they say, will cure Pollock of her condition by stopping her from having to be alive in a paralyzed state of existence.

Becoming paralyzed to stay “safe” from COVID

At the time when Pollock decided to get boosted, she recalls politicians, public health officials and media talking-heads fearmongering about the alleged dangers of the latest “variants” and “subvariants” of the Chinese virus. They were urging all Canadians to rush on over to the nearest medical clinic for an injection, which was supposed to keep them safe.

Pollock also recalls there being extra emphasis placed on those at highest risk of “catching” COVID getting boosted as soon as possible. Heeding this advice, Pollock signed up to get the first double-dose series of mRNA injections from Pfizer in the middle of 2021, to which she did not notice any immediate health problems.

Because her father lives with dementia in a long-term care facility, Pollock thought she was looking out for her dad by getting jabbed with every recommended injection prior to visiting him. It was after Pollock got boosted with Moderna that everything changed for her.

Upon arriving to get the Moderna boost, Pollock recalls feeling a gut instinct that something was not right. She ignored that feeling and proceeded with getting the injection anyway on Jan. 11, 2022.

Just four days later, Pollock says her legs “just gave out,” upon which she “collapsed.” She felt fine not long after that, but nine days following the fall she experienced another similar event, which prompted her to call her doctor to report that something was amiss.

On Feb. 22, 2022, Pollock’s condition took a turn for the worse when she woke up one day and could not move in her bed. She would learn that the Moderna booster left her stricken with transverse myelitis, a condition marked by an interruption of nerve transmissions along the spinal cord.

Pollock would end up stuck in a hospital bed for months, during which time medical staff repeatedly encouraged her to undergo assisted suicide as a cure. An organization called Veterans 4 Freedom has since stepped in to try to help Pollock by setting up a GiveSendGo campaign to help her raise money for a service dog.

French Revolution: Napoleon’s Invasion of Italy

Episode 37 Italian Campaign and Sister Republics

Living the French Revolution and Age of Napoleon

Dr Suzanne M Desan

Film Review

Prior to Napoleon’s invasion of Italy in 1796, a king rule Piedmont-Sardinia, Austria ruled the Duchy of Milan and Venice was a republic and independent state. The bigger Italian cities had a strong revolutionary movement, with Italian revolutionaries forming clubs and (illegally) publishing revolutionary pamphlets and newspapers. Filippo Buonarroti, the Jacobin author of Conspiracy of Equals, had created a small republican principality in northwest Italy as a refuge for Italian republicans. They set up public schools and enacted price controls and laws suppressing feudalism. At the beginning of 1796, Buonarroti sought support from the French army to topple the local king.

On March 27, 1796 Napoleon arrived in Nice to take charge of the French Army of Italy. By 21 April, he had driven the Austrians from Piedmont-Sardinia and by mid-May, cheered by Italian patriots, his army marched into Milan. A string of defeats forced Austria to withdraw entirely from the Italian peninsula. Chased by Napoleon’s troops all the way to Vienna, they eventually sued for peace.

Napoleon then established two republics in northern Italy, the Cisalpine Republic and the Cispadel Republic.

Desan attributes Napoleon phenomenal military success to his exceptional treatment of his men, his ability to read terrain and his skill in the logistics of moving troops, artillery, horses and food. Napoleon paid his men in hard cash, bread and meat; was generous with military honors and had no qualms about assisting them them digging moving supply wagons and heavy artillery out of muddy ditches. In the fertile plains of northern Italy, he also encouraged them to forage for food to reduce his reliance on slow moving supply lines. He also introduced a new military formation (a combination of lines and columns) that was easier for new recruits to master and enable Napoleon to execute rapid strikes that outflanked the Austrian army and cut off their supply lines.

The Battle of Lodi was his first really famous battle. He brought the art of self-promotion to new heights, buying several newspapers to promote his successful campaign. After capturing Milan, he marched south on Directory orders to impose war reparations and collect booty (the equivalent of 12 million dollars in gold and silver, 46 million cash and hundreds of paintings and sculptures of Italian masters for the art museum the Directory established at the Louvre.

He would defy the Directory in encouraging Italians to create republics once the Austrians withdrew. He would also defy the Pope in forming the Cispadine Republic (eventually absorbed by the Cisaplpine Republic).

His new Italian republics established a free press, granted rights to Jews, and adopted the French revolutionary calendar.

Napoleon played a major role in negotiating the Treaty of Campo Formeo, which ended the war with Austria. As part of this treaty, he surrendered the independent Republic of Venice to Austrian control and three more sister republics were formed in Rome, Naples and Luca.

34 Deaths, 302 Serious Injuries: Experts Say It’s Time to Pull Them From the Market

By  Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D

Newly approved vaccines for respiratory syncytial virus have been linked to deaths and serious injuries and, most recently, to Guillain-Barré syndrome, but U.S. health officials continue to recommend them as “safe and effective.”

Reported cases include several instances of severe adverse events in newborns, including the death of a 27-day-old baby who was wrongly administered the vaccine, and in pregnant women and people in age groups for which the RSV vaccines were not approved.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Pfizer’s Abrysvo and GSK’s Arexvy RSV vaccines for adults ages 60 and older — but not for children or babies.

Abrysvo is also approved for pregnant women, targeting RSV prevention in babies. The FDA approved Abrysvo and Arexvy in May 2023.

According to CDC data, approximately 9.65 million RSV vaccine doses — 6.58 million Arexvy doses and 3.06 million Abrysvo doses — were administered as of Feb. 16.

Members of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) presented the data on deaths and adverse events related to the RSV vaccines at a Feb. 29 meeting.

Yet, ACIP — and news media reports — primarily focused on GBS safety signals, glossing over deaths and the administration of the vaccines to unauthorized age groups.

Instead, CDC officials claimed it’s too early to determine if the RSV vaccines caused the adverse events and reiterated that the shots are safe, according to The Associated Press (AP).

Experts who spoke with The Defender disputed the CDC’s reassurances. Brian Hooker, Ph.D., chief scientific officer for Children’s Health Defense (CHD), said “34 deaths in 10 months should be sufficient to pull the RSV vaccines from the market. But the FDA will not do that — nor will there be full investigations regarding these deaths.”

“I am greatly concerned with the excessive application of the RSV vaccine,” said cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough. “We are beginning to see the tip of the iceberg in terms of serious side effects.”

CDC creating ‘illusion of safe and effective’

According to the CDC data presented at the Feb. 29 ACIP meeting, of the 34 deaths reported as of Feb. 16 following RSV vaccination, 22 were linked to Arexvy and nine to Abrysvo. In three instances, the report listed “no brand name.”

Yet, discrepancies in the data are evident, as the public-facing VAERS database indicates only 29 RSV vaccine-related deaths as of Feb. 23. And according to Albert Benavides, founder of VAERSAware.com, three more “hidden” deaths reported after RSV vaccines are listed in VAERS, but the vaccine name is unlabeled.

Benavides, who identified discrepancies and contradictions in VAERS data and has called attention to the existence of two parallel VAERS databases — one that is public-facing and one that is not — said, “It is simply gross and despicable the CDC and FDA are allowed to pass off this data obfuscation as pharmacovigilance.”

He added: “VAERS administration is simply not publishing all legitimate reports received.”

One of the deaths recorded in VAERS involved a 27-day-old baby from New York — even though the RSV vaccines are not approved for children. According to the report, which was entered into the VAERS database on Jan. 8, the newborn was vaccinated at a doctor’s office “and he passed away right there.” The date of death was unspecified.

Other RSV vaccine-related death reports included:

  • A report involving a foreign woman of “unknown” age but who was pregnant. She received Abrysvo Dec. 27, 2023, and died Jan. 1, 2024.
  • A 67-year-old New Jersey man who received Arexvy Oct. 14, 2023, and died two days later — a death acknowledged by GSK as “related to Arexvy.”
  • A 69-year-old Florida man who received Arexvy concurrently with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine Sept. 28, 2023, and died two days later. According to the VAERS report, an EKG on the date of his death was “grossly ‘abnormal’” despite no known cardiac history and an “unremarkable” cardiac exam two months prior.
  • A 70-year-old California man who received Arexvy concurrently with a flu vaccine on Sept. 5, 2023. Increased coughing and fever began “less than 24 hours later” and lasted for four days, until “the patient was found deceased at home.”
  • A 73-year-old Virginia male who received Arexvy Jan. 24 and was diagnosed with GBS. Symptoms began 11 days after vaccination. He died Feb. 15.
  • A 75-year-old Virginia woman who received Arexvy Jan. 4, died two hours later.
  • A 76-year-old Michigan man who received Arexvy Jan. 11, sustained tachycardia and difficulty breathing, and died of acute sepsis and pneumonia Jan. 15.
  • A 77-year-old Pennsylvania man who received Arexvy Jan. 4 and soon experienced “seizure-like activity” despite no history of seizures. He died Jan. 6.
  • An 81-year-old California man who received Arexvy and a flu vaccine Sept. 18, 2023. He sustained severe cardiopulmonary arrest and died five hours later.
  • An 81-year-old New Mexico woman who received Arexvy concurrently with the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, and pneumonia, adenovirus and flu vaccines, on Oct. 19, 2023. On Oct. 29, 2023, she sustained a hemorrhage and later died.
  • An 85-year-old Colorado man who received Abrysvo and a flu vaccine on Sept. 11, 2023. Two days later, he “developed symptoms of shingles in his eye” and later “developed meningitis/encephalitis that led to a host of other complications that ultimately led to his death” on Dec. 21, 2023.

According to Benavides, other deaths likely related to RSV vaccination are “hidden” within VAERS, with details such as the vaccine name listed as “unknown” in some reports.

This includes the Jan. 8 death of a preterm newborn in Texas. According to VAERS, the baby was “not breathing” hours after vaccination and subsequently died. The vaccine lot number listed in the VAERS report corresponds with Abrysvo.

Benavides said mislabeled reports hide the true extent of adverse events:

“Not publishing legitimate reports is one of their Vegas tricks. They delete legitimate reports after publication, purposely delay published reports, allow reports to be published without critical data fields like age, date of vaccination or death, even when reports are properly documented in the summary narrative.

“It’s not a stretch to believe VAERS administration is systematically and actively scrubbing data fields that were present on initial submission to create the illusion of ‘safe and effective.’”

Two other RSV vaccine-related reports in VAERS list Beyfortus — a monoclonal antibody for RSV administered to babies — in the write-up.

These reports include a male born prematurely in New York who received Beyfortus and the hepatitis B vaccine at birth, and died of “fluid buildup in the lungs.” Another report lists an Arkansas male of “unknown” age who died of cardiac arrest on Feb. 14, although this was deemed unrelated to the “Beyfortus vaccine received” the prior day.

Although Beyfortus is not a vaccine, it is classified as such in some instances. The ACIP recommended adding Beyfortus to the childhood vaccine schedule — giving it a liability waiver — but excluding it from the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP).

‘Startling’ number of Guillain-Barré cases following RSV vaccination

VAERS lists 3,834 adverse events relating to the RSV vaccines as of Feb. 23, with approximately two-thirds of the reports pertaining to Arexvy. A total of 302 reports are classified as serious adverse events, with slightly over half connected to Arexvy.

Yet, the ACIP meeting and subsequent news stories largely focused on a single safety signal: a higher-than-normal incidence of GBS in RSV vaccine recipients.

According to The New York Times, GBS causes the immune system to attack the nerves, leading to paralysis and death in severe cases. According to AP, “An estimated 3,000 to 6,000 people develop G.B.S. in the U.S. each year,” mostly older adults.

“Rare cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome have been linked to other vaccines, including those against influenza and shingles,” the Times reported. The Times did not mention incidences of GBS connected to COVID-19 vaccination.

AP reported that health officials estimate “About two cases of Guillain-Barré might be seen in every 1 million people who receive a vaccine.” CDC data indicate the GBS incidence rate for Abrysvo recipients was 4.6 cases per million people.

GBS incidences were lower for Arexvy, but according to AP, officials are also performing “follow-up tracking” in people who received this particular vaccine.

“These data suggest a potential increased risk” from the RSV vaccine, said Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, director of CDC’s Immunization Safety Office, in remarks quoted by AP.

“Given that the RSV vaccine was first approved in the U.S. on May 3, 2023, the number of VAERS reports for GBS, death and atrial fibrillation are indeed startling,” Hooker said.

According to VAERS, 34 GBS cases related to RSV vaccination were recorded. Most were in the 65-79 age group, but at least two cases were reported in people under age 60, even though the RSV vaccines are not approved for those age groups. CDC data presented at the Feb. 29 ACIP meeting said 23 GBS reports have been “verified.”

From these “verified” reports, 15 involved Abrysvo, 14 patients were male, seven received a COVID-19 vaccine at the same time they received the RSV shot, the median age was 71 and one patient died.

The ACIP presentation referred to one GBS report “in a non-pregnant female patient aged 50s years” who received Abyrsvo. VAERS includes reports of other GBS cases in patients in age groups not authorized to receive the RSV vaccines.

In one instance, a 6-month-old girl from California received Abrysvo and several other vaccines at a military site on Nov. 30, 2023. She sustained “life threatening” cardiac arrest. The RSV vaccine “was given by mistake,” according to her VAERS report.

And a 28-year-old Kentucky female who received Abrysvo on Dec. 1, 2023, soon developed “facial weakness,” despite “no history of similar symptoms.” She was hospitalized for seven days and diagnosed with GBS.

The ACIP also referenced 58 cases of atrial fibrillation, three cases of acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, two cases of transverse myelitis and one case of posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome and acute encephalitis following RSV vaccination.

Risks of RSV vaccines evident during clinical trials

[…]

According to Dr. Meryl Nass, an internist and biological warfare expert, “The FDA and CDC have enormous amounts of data on well over 100 million Americans” but “refuse to study the data.”

According to AP, public health officials were aware of GBS instances identified during clinical trials and “different systems were watching for signs of problems.”

Nass said there is little evidence that RSV vaccines are saving lives in either babies or the elderly.” But, she said, “There was good evidence, even in the pre-marketing data, that the RSV vaccines caused neurologic complications, including GBS.”

“Why would anyone take an RSV vaccine that has a reasonable chance of causing a neurologic illness to prevent colds? The answer is that they are not being told the truth,” Nass said, calling for RSV vaccines to not be licensed or used until their safety is proven.

McCullough said RSV “is like a mild cold and easily treated at home.” He said the risk of “fatal paralysis, cardiac side effects and vaccine death far outweigh the occasional case of RSV, which we have been managing for many years in internal medicine.”

“I do not recommend the new RSV vaccine to older adults,” he said.

90% of U.S. Cheese Contains GMO Made by Pfizer

By  Dr. Joseph Mercola

Rennet is used as a clotting agent to curdle the milk into cheese, separating the liquid parts of milk from the solids. Pfizer makes a genetically modified rennet, but because of a labeling loophole, cheese containing Pfizer’s rennet does not have to be labeled as containing a genetically modified organism.

  • Traditionally, cheese was made with just four ingredients: milk, salt, starter culture and animal rennet.
  • Rennet is used as a clotting agent to curdle the milk into cheese, separating the liquid parts of milk from the solids. It’s an essential part of the cheese-making process.
  • Today, there are four types of rennet used in the cheese-making industry: animal rennet, vegetable rennet, microbial rennet and a genetically modified version called FPC (fermentation-produced chymosin), made by Pfizer.
  • Bioengineered FPC was granted Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS) status, which exempted Pfizer from the pre-approved requirements that apply to other new food additives. This is even though studies have detailed concerns about safety.
  • An estimated 90% of North American cheese is made with FPC rennet, and ingredient labels do not distinguish between bioengineered rennet and the original animal-based type so consumers have no way of knowing what they’re eating.

In this article let’s dive into why I believe you should only be eating cheese made with ANIMAL RENNET, and how over 90% of the cheese sold in the U.S. does not use this and instead uses a genetically modified organism (GMO) version made by Pfizer.

Cheese history

Who doesn’t love cheese?! And for good reason — it is not only delicious but also incredibly nutritious. And despite what the mainstream tells us, humans have been making and consuming this superfood for over 7,000 years. In fact, cheese serves an important role in human history.

Historians document that milk, dairy and fermented dairy products, like cheese, served as a nutrient-dense calorie source that was storable, allowing some of the first explorers to safely travel and expand communities, creating more demographic shifts and diverse farming communities.

“Dairy provided food security, as it is a nutrient-rich superfood.

Consumption of milk and dairy products would have had many advantages for early farming populations. Milk, yogurt, and cheese are good sources of calories, protein, and fat. They provide a reliable food between harvests or during droughts, epidemics, or famines.

“Milk is a relatively pathogen-free source of fluids that could be critical during times of water scarcity. Cheese provides a means of storing these nutrients to be used when milk production is low, and can be easily transported.

“Furthermore, fermentation of milk into yogurt or cheese lowers lactose content and allows lactose intolerant individuals to reap the benefits, while maintain, or in some cases enhancing, other essential nutrients such as fat and calcium.”

But cheese was traditionally made with just these four ingredients:

  1. Milk.
  2. Salt.
  3. Starter culture, what’s used to make the desired cheese strain (for ex. Muenster versus Swiss).
  4. Animal rennet is used as a clotting agent to curdle the milk into cheese, separating the liquid parts of milk from the solids — a very vital part of the cheese-making process!

You add culture to milk and let it ferment. Then, you add rennet, which separates the milk into curds and whey. Then you press the curds and age them. And voila — cheese!

Rennet is a complex set of enzymes that are naturally produced in the stomachs of ruminant animals, like cows.

The main enzyme present is chymosin, which is a protease enzyme, meaning it breaks down protein. Rennet from animals also contains other enzymes like pepsin and lipase.

So these enzymes in rennet target casein, the main protein in milk. They cause the casein molecules to divide and re-coagulate into even larger clumps, forming cheese curds.

So, rennet serves as a vital part of cheesemaking since it helps curdle the milk into cheese, separating the liquid part from the solid part.

Types of rennet

There are four types of rennet used in the cheese-making industry: animal rennet, vegetable rennet, microbial rennet and FPC (a GMO version).

1. Animal rennet — Animal rennet is the most natural and oldest form of rennet, and what was traditionally used in cheese making. There are milk-clotting enzymes naturally occurring in the stomach lining of ruminant animals.

It is well known in the cheese-making industry that animal rennet produces a superior flavor, likely because this rennet is a complex set of enzymes (as nature intended), rather than a single isolated enzyme derived in a lab.

Animal rennet is usually 90% chymosin enzyme and 10% pepsin enzyme. The small amount of pepsin will break down the casein protein in milk in a slightly different way compared to just chymosin alone, producing a final product with an enhanced taste.

Cheese made using animal rennet not only tastes better, but it also produces a safer and more natural final cheese product, which will be discussed in depth below.

2. Vegetable rennet — One alternative to animal rennet is vegetable rennet, which unfortunately varies a lot depending on the source, and the term “vegetable rennet” is misused a lot.

True vegetable rennet is derived from plants that possess coagulation enzymes. These plant extracts have been used as milk coagulants since ancient times. Some examples include cardoon thistle, fig tree bark or nettles.

However, it is well known in the cheese industry that vegetable rennet can negatively impact the final texture and flavor of the cheese.“Most plant-derived [enzymes] typically exhibit low MCA/PA [milk clotting activity/proteolytic activity] ratios resulting in poor cheese yield and formation of bitter substances during cheese ripening … Therefore, most of them are not suitable for cheese production.”This is why most of the cheese with the label “vegetable rennet” isn’t real vegetable rennet. It’s either microbial rennet (made from mold) or FPC (the GMO version) since there is no regulation on the terms used for what rennet is used in cheese labeling.

3. Microbial rennet — Another alternative to animal rennet is “microbial rennet,” where the coagulating enzymes are produced by a specific type of mold, fungus or yeast organism grown and fermented in a lab setting (often fed soy). Yum. So while the microorganisms aren’t genetically modified, their food source likely is.

This is considered vegetarian-friendly as the enzyme produced by the organism is not derived from an animal. There is again a large consensus in the cheesemaking world that cheeses made with this type of microbial rennet can lead to a final cheese product with a bitter taste. This option is commonly used in “certified organic” and “certified vegetarian” cheeses.

“Microbial [enzymes] are mainly produced by fungi and bacteria in the process of growth and metabolism. Microorganisms have the advantages of a short growth cycle, easy fermentation, and are not limited by space and region of production …

“Therefore, the cost of microbial MCEs [microbial enzymes] is low … However, it is found that most MCEs have high PA and low MCA/PA ratios leading to low cheese yield and bitterness.”

4. Genetically modified FPC — To overcome some of the shortcomings of the vegetable and microbial rennets like the potential bitter cheese taste, scientists have leveraged genetic engineering technology to create new, genetically modified species that generate these milk-curdling enzymes.

Introducing the most common alternative to animal rennet in cheese making — FPC. (Chymosin refers to the enzyme that curdles milk, and is naturally present in the stomach lining of ruminant animals).

In fact, 90% of the cheese manufactured in the U.S. uses these enzymes from GMOs.

FPC was created by the one and only Pfizer (biotech company) and is made possible by using CRISPR gene editing technology where the genomes of living organisms are modified. The “safety” of FPC was evaluated by a 90-day trial in rats

How FPC is made

Here’s how it is made: The rennet-producing gene is taken out of the animal cell’s DNA string and then inserted into the bacteria, yeast or mold host cell’s DNA string in a process known as gene splicing (a type of recombinant DNA technology).

Once inserted, the newly placed gene initiates the production of the chymosin enzyme within the host. The host culture is then cultivated and fermented.

These recombinant DNA technologies are relatively new and became popular in the 1980s when the U.S. Supreme Court by a 5-4 vote ruled that new life forms can be patented.

So then in 1990, in another precedent-setting decision by a U.S. government office, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of FPC in food. It was the first time a bioengineered product was permitted in food in the U.S. It gets better.

This bioengineered FPC was granted GRAS status. This means that Pfizer was exempt from the pre-approval requirements that apply to other (non-GRAS) new food additives.

Since Pfizer demonstrated what is often referred to as “substantial equivalence,” the FDA concluded that bioengineered chymosin was substantially equivalent to calf rennet and needed neither special labeling nor an indication of its source or method of production.

In case you didn’t know, this “GRAS” label is a little hand-wavy and just a big loophole. In general, federal law requires the FDA to ensure that food additives are safe and mandates a rigorous pre-market safety review process. But the loophole = GRAS.

The GRAS loophole

Forty-three percent of food additives are designated “GRAS” and don’t get FDA oversight. Essentially, we must trust that food companies will conduct unbiased safety determinations before adding these new GRAS substances to our food.

“According to the FDC [Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic] Act, food additives that are non-GRAS need approval prior to marketing. In contrast, GRAS substances do not require approval or notification to the USFDA prior to marketing.”

Meaning the public and other regulatory agencies lack the data needed to assess the safety of some chemicals in our foods.

In 2014, former Deputy FDA Commissioner for Foods Michael Taylor commented on the FDA’s failure to regulate food chemicals, saying:

“We simply do not have the information to vouch for the safety of many of these chemicals.”

GRAS may have started with good intentions, but it has turned out to be a giant loophole for food companies to get a free pass to use chemical additives in our food with little to no oversight.

And of course, there is no other developed country in the world that has a system as archaic as GRAS for approving food additives. Okay tangent aside, back to FPC.

FPC cheese is exempt from GMO labeling

Even though the organisms that produce this FPC are genetically modified, dairy products using this technology are exempt from having to label their products as “GMO.”

In fact, FPC is just listed as “microbial rennet” or “vegetable rennet” on labels. (The source of the rennet is not required to be listed.) So it is a little deceiving.

[…]

Toxicity concerns

Toxicity means that the enzyme solution contains biotoxins from the genetically modified host (mold or fungus) that is being cultured and fermented in the lab.

The producers of these enzymes claim the final FPC enzyme solution is highly purified, but some people react as though they still contain some of the allergens from the host microorganisms themselves.

In fact, traces of the genetically engineered bacteria have been found in enzymes. A few quotes from the literature regarding these toxicity concerns. I don’t know about you, but I have no desire to consume biotoxins from genetically modified organisms!

British Special Forces Face Murder Charges Over Syria War Crimes

UK occupation troops were recently accused of summarily executing dozens of civilians in Afghanistan during a 10-year period

The Cradle

Five active members of the Special Air Service (SAS) have been arrested in the UK for alleged war crimes committed during illegal British operations in Syria in 2022.

The unnamed suspects were arrested by the British military police over the murder of a “suspected militant,” as authorities say the soldiers used “excessive force” and should have arrested the suspect instead of shooting him dead, the Daily Mail reported.

While the UK Ministry of Defense has not commented on the case, a statement provided to The Independent reads: “We hold our personnel to the highest standards, and any allegations of wrongdoing are taken seriously. Where appropriate, any criminal allegations are referred to the service police for investigation.”

Per the report, a “primed suicide vest” was found near the murdered Syrian man. However, he was not wearing it at the time of his death. According to the detained SAS soldiers, the unnamed suspect “posed a threat and intended to carry out a suicide attack.”

The SAS has been actively deployed in Syria for the past decade in support of the US-led war and occupation in the country.

The murder probe comes less than a year after it was revealed that SAS soldiers summarily executed at least 80 civilians in Afghanistan during raids carried out in the country between 2010 and 2013.

One of the soldiers who operated in Afghanistan is believed to have “personally killed” 35 Afghans as part of an alleged policy to terminate “all fighting-age males … regardless of the threat they posed” during home raids.

The SAS conducted regular night raids on family compounds in search of Taliban fighters during London’s military operations in Helmand province, which ended in 2014. These raids included executing civilian men and planting weapons next to their bodies to justify the killings.

The BBC obtained detailed military reports of SAS night raids and uncovered a “pattern of strikingly similar reports of Afghan men being shot dead because they pulled AK-47 rifles or hand grenades from behind furniture after having been detained.”

In 2014, UK military police launched an investigation into allegations of more than 600 offenses by British forces in Afghanistan, including the alleged killing of civilians by the SAS. However, no prosecutions of soldiers resulted.

The SAS boosted its operations in Lebanon following the start of Israel’s campaign of genocide in Gaza. The UK military also markedly increased arms transfers to Israel from their air bases in Cyprus.

The ‘Food Transition’ Is a War on Food, Farmers and the Public

Colin Toddhunter

This article begins with a short video based on an interview with researcher Sandi Adams, who describes the plans for agriculture in the rural county of Somerset in south-west England and the UK in general. It’s an important clip because what she describes appears to be part of a wider United Nations agenda handed down by an extremely wealthy unaccountable, unelected elite.

This elite thinks it can do a better job than nature by changing the essence of food and the genetic core of the food supply (via synthetic biology and genetic engineering). The plan also involves removing farmers from the land (AI-driven farmerless farms) and filling much of the countryside with wind farms and solar panels. Although the food system has problems that need addressing, this misguided agenda is a recipe for food insecurity that no one voted for.

Throughout the world, from the Netherlands to India, farmers are protesting. The protests might appear to have little in common. But they do. Farmers are increasingly finding it difficult to make a living, whether, for instance, because of neoliberal trade policies that lead to the import of produce that undermines domestic production and undercuts prices, the withdrawal of state support or the implementation of net-zero emissions policies that set unrealistic targets.

The common thread is that, by one way or another, farming is deliberately being made impossible or financially non-viable. The aim is to drive most farmers off the land and ram through an agenda that by its very nature seems likely to produce shortages and undermine food security.

A ‘one world agriculture’ global agenda is being promoted by the likes of the Gates Foundation and the World Economic Forum. It involves a vision of food and farming that sees companies such as Bayer, Corteva, Syngenta and Cargill working with Microsoft, Google and the big-tech giants to facilitate AI-driven farmerless farms, laboratory engineered ‘food’ and retail dominated by the likes of Amazon and Walmart. A cartel of data owners, proprietary input suppliers and e-commerce platforms at the commanding heights of the economy.

The agenda is the brainchild of a digital-corporate-financial complex that wants to transform and control all aspects of life and human behaviour. This complex forms part of an authoritarian global elite that has the ability to coordinate its agenda globally via the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, the World Trade Organization, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and other supranational organisations, including influential think tanks and foundations (Gates, Rockefeller etc).

Its agenda for food and farming is euphemistically called a ‘food transition’. Big agribusiness and ‘philanthropic’ foundations position themselves as the saviours of humanity due to their much-promoted plans to ‘feed the world’ with high-tech ‘precision’ farming’, ‘data-driven’ agriculture and ‘green’ (net-zero) production – with ‘sustainability’ being the mantra.

Integral to this ‘food transition’ is the ‘climate emergency’ narrative, a commentary that has been carefully constructed and promoted (see the work of investigative journalist Cory Morningstar), and net-zero ideology tied to carbon farming and carbon trading.

The ‘food transition’ involves locking farmers (at least those farmers who will remain in farming) further into a corporate-controlled agriculture that extracts wealth and serves the market needs of global corporations, carbon trading Ponzi schemes and institutional investors and speculators with no connection to farming who regard agriculture, food commodities and agricultural land as mere financial assets. These farmers will be reduced to corporate profit-extracting agents who bear all of the risks.

This predatory commercialisation of the countryside uses flawed premises and climate alarmism to legitimise the roll-out of technologies to supposedly deliver us all from climate breakdown and Malthusian catastrophe.

In society in general, we also see the questioning of official narratives discouraged, censored and marginalised. We saw this with the policies and the ‘science’ that were used to legitimise COVID-related state actions. A wealthy elite increasingly funds science, determines what should be studied, how it should be studied and how the findings are disseminated and how the technology produced is to be used.

This elite has the power to shut down genuine debate and to smear and censor others who question the dominant narrative. The prevailing thinking is that the problems humanity face are all to be solved through technical innovation determined by plutocrats and centralised power.

This haughty mindset (or outright arrogance) leads to and is symptomatic of an authoritarianism that seeks to impose a range of technologies on humanity with no democratic oversight. This includes self-transmitting vaccines, the genetic engineering of plants and humans, synthetic food, geoengineering and transhumanism.

What we see is a misguided eco-modernist paradigm that concentrates power and privileges techno-scientific expertise (a form of technocratic exceptionalism). At the same time, historical power relations (often rooted in agriculture and colonialism) and their legacies within and between societies across the world are conveniently ignored and depoliticised. Technology is not the cure-all for the destructive impacts of poverty, inequality, dispossession, imperialism or class exploitation.

When it comes to the technologies and policies being rolled out in the agriculture sector, these phenomena will be reinforced and further entrenched – and that includes illness and poor health, which have markedly increased as a result of the modern food we eat and the agrochemicals and practices already used by the corporations pushing for the ‘food transition’. However, that then opens up other money-spinning techno-fix opportunities in the life sciences sector for investors like BlackRock that invest in both agriculture and pharmaceuticals.

But in a neoliberal privatised economy that has often facilitated the rise of members of the controlling wealthy elite, it is reasonable to assume that its members possess certain assumptions of how the world works and should continue to work: a world based on deregulation with limited oversight and the hegemony of private capital and a world led by private individuals like Bill Gates who think they know best.

Whether through, for instance, the patenting of life forms, carbon trading, entrenching market (corporate) dependency or land investments, their eco-modern policies serve as cover for generating and amassing further wealth and for cementing their control.

So, it should come as little surprise that powerful people who have contempt for democratic principles (and by implication, ordinary people) believe they have some divine right to undermine food security, close down debate, enrich themselves further courtesy of their technologies and policies and gamble with humanity’s future.

More Evidence of Coming Economic Crash

by Brian Shilhavy
Editor, Health Impact News

We are seeing the collapse of the U.S. financial system drawing closer and closer each day.

Last year, the only thing that supported the U.S. financial system and stopped it from completely collapsing, was investment into AI and the 7 technology stocks, referred to as the “Magnificent 7”.

Today, as we head into the last couple of weeks of the First Quarter in 2024, many of those “Magnificent 7” stocks are beginning to fall back from the AI bubble created in 2023, and there is now really only one of these stocks that has been basically stopping a full stock market crash, Nvidia, the leading manufacturer for the power-hungry computer processors needed to run AI.

Nvidia is now worth more than all of these companies combined: AT&T, Boeing, Coca-Cola, Disney, FedEx, General Motors, IBM, McDonald’s, Nike, Starbucks, UPS, and Walmart. (Source.)

Nvidia recently reached a $2 trillion market value and has easily beat the previous most valued Big Tech company, Apple. Apple’s valuation continues to decline, along with other Big Tech companies like Tesla, partly because of their dependence on the China market. See:

Apple iPhone sales slump 24% in China to start the year, report says

And many investors are wise enough to see that Nvidia’s current valuation is also a huge bubble that is going to burst.

Nvidia’s $2 trillion market cap looks bubbly

AI chipmaker Nvidia topped $2 trillion in market cap on Friday less than nine months after crossing the $1 trillion threshold.

Why it matters: AI-drunk investors have bid up Nvidia, whose advanced chips power AI systems, to bubble-like levels. The company’s stock chart parties like it’s 1999 — and we all remember what happened to the dotcom era darlings a year later.

  • AI is no fad, but neither was the internet. That didn’t stop dotcom stocks from collapsing.

Driving the news: The company gained $277 billion in value Thursday — Wall Street’s biggest single-day gain ever, per Reuters — after its quarterly earnings, reported Wednesday, suggested the AI boom has legs.

  • Nvidia’s wild ride is propelled by demand for its graphics processors, which have turned out to be ideal not only for Bitcoin mining — which drove a previous wave of Nvidia mania — but also for the kind of number-crunching that ChatGPT and similar AI programs demand.

Yes, but: That demand is probably at its peak right now.

  • Both the moment’s AI mania and global shortages of the most advanced processors have placed a premium on Nvidia’s products. That premium is a lot more likely to erode than hold.
  • You can’t ramp up a chip powerhouse overnight, but over time Nvidia will face a rising wave of competitors.
  • New research breakthroughs could radically alter the technical needs of AI systems, reducing reliance on Nvidia’s super-chips.

The stock market, in other words, is doing the opposite of what it’s supposed to — it’s responding to the present moment’s obsessions rather than predicting future profit growth. (Full article.)

Besides Nvidia, the other “product” that is holding up the financial system right now is the new Bitcoin ETF that the SEC approved recently.

For those who are unfamiliar with what ETF funds are, they are basically gambling funds where you bet on what is going to happen in the future, without actually owning anything.

So if you invest in the new Bitcoin ETF, you don’t actually own Bitcoins. You own a share in an ETF fund that increases or decreases in value based on the price of the actual Bitcoins.

There are even “Inverse ETFs” that one can invest in, where you basically bet that a certain stock or commodity is going to DECREASE in market value, and the more it decreases, the more you earn in Inverse ETFs.

I suspect that an Inverse ETF will soon be approved for Bitcoin as well, where you can make money when the price of Bitcoin decreases.

This is what the financial system, our debt-based financial system where nobody really owns anything as it is all leveraged against debt, has become. It is one huge Ponzi scheme, controlled by the Central Bankers.

Some are even asking if a Central Bank is now hoarding Crypto assets in order to stay liquid.

Judging from the price action last week, the everything rally remains resilient to the effects of monetary tightening. Have we sprung a monetary leak somewhere that is providing mysterious liquidity into markets? Or is this all just a huge lag effect as the Covid-era torrents of easy money continue to wash through the economy and the US deficit remains close to 6.5% of GDP?

Whatever the case, some of the moves are very interesting. News has emerged of a crypto whale dubbed ‘Mr 100’ who has been quietly accumulating a $3.1bn stash of Bitcoin. Decrypt.co reports that the mysterious whale is unlikely to be US-domiciled, and unlikely to be one of the new Bitcoin ETF operators since those have already disclosed their blockchain addresses. Could a central bank somewhere be buying crypto assets? (Source.)

One investor has stated that Bitcoin will “live and die” by the new ETF fund:

Bitcoin also surged back above $60,000 after the SEC approved bitcoin ETFs.

Peter thinks Bitcoin’s revival this week is the last gasp of breath before the asset blows up completely:

“These ETFs are really the tail that is wagging the Bitcoin dog. I think it’s all now about the ETFs, and of course, Bitcoin lives by the ETFs, it’s going to die by the ETFs and [it’s] probably not going to be a very long life.”

Full article. (Note: this person is biased toward gold investments.)

The success of Bitcoin, and all cryptocurrencies, of course depends on two things that power cryptocurrencies: electricity and the Internet. If you lose access to either of these life-bloods that allow cryptocurrencies to exist, your cryptocurrencies are dead and worthless.

And while physical gold and silver can be stored in your home safe and increase in value as inflation takes off, what good will it do you in a total collapse of the financial system, especially if the supply chains break down, as they did during COVID?

The most current “predictive programming” that is occurring in both the corporate and “alternative” mass media is that we are heading to a Civil War as we get closer to the elections this year, allegedly due to the crisis at the border. If that happens, who is going to exchange your precious metals into something you can use to purchase food and other basic necessities?

Big Tech “Capitalism” = Central Planning

Tim O’Reilly, founder and CEO of O’Reilly Media, Inc., wrote an excellent opinion piece that was published today by the technology publication The Information where he wrote that Silicon Valley venture capitalists subscribe to central planning: “Rather than competing to win in the marketplace, entrepreneurs compete for funding from the Silicon Valley equivalent of the Central Committee.”

Excerpts:

AI Has an Uber Problem

A handful of deep-pocketed investors distorts the market, fueling a race for monopoly that inhibits product-market fit.

Silicon Valley venture capitalists and many entrepreneurs espouse libertarian values. In practice, they subscribe to central planning: Rather than competing to win in the marketplace, entrepreneurs compete for funding from the Silicon Valley equivalent of the Central Committee.

[…]

But in the Central Committee version of Silicon Valley, Uber and Lyft, backed by billions of dollars of venture capital, drove out the competition rather than defeating it, subsidizing customer acquisition with an unsustainable business model—and in the case of Uber, continuing to attract new capital with promises of speculative future cost savings via self-driving cars. Instead, once the market had consolidated, Uber and Lyft only reached profitability through massive price increases.

What might have happened if there had been true competition in this market? We will never know.

Expecting Big Returns

In the case of artificial intelligence, training large models is indeed expensive, requiring large capital investments.

But those investments demand commensurately large returns. The investors who pile billions of dollars into a huge bet are expecting not just to be paid back, but paid back a hundredfold.

The capital-fueled race to build the largest models has already led to bad behavior.

OpenAI, for example, has trained not just on publicly available data but reportedly on copyrighted content retrieved from pirate sites. This has led to lawsuits and settlements.

But even those settlements are likely to be bad for the development of a healthy entrepreneurial ecosystem. As Mike Loukides points out, “Smaller startups…will be priced out, along with every open-source effort. By settling, OpenAI will eliminate much of their competition.”

For those of us who have been following this issue for the past few years, since COVID, we know where this is heading, which is total Centralized Top-Down Control through digital finances such as Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), where you will need to “prove you are you” and not some AI clone, which will be used as an excuse to implement and require biometric IDs, such as a scan of your eyeball, or your palm.

There are no “solutions” coming from those who control the economy. The only solutions are from those the economy depends upon: The Consumers. Elections are rigged to make sure that only those who serve the Central Committee comprise both political parties, so voting and politics are NOT the solution.

The only solution that has ever existed is for the masses of consumers to start voting with their spending habits, but the consumers are too distracted with their political idols and fighting those on the other political side whom they believe, incorrectly, are their enemies.

Ohio senator demands Google ‘breakup’ amid Gemini debacle: ‘One of the most dangerous companies in the world’

JD Vance on Google Gemini bias

Lawmakers have started reacting to Google’s admitted racial and historical bias, and one Republican senator wants to see the “breakup” of one of the most well-known and profitable tech companies.

“This is one of the most dangerous companies in the world. It actively solicits and forces left-wing bias down the throats of the American nation,” Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo in a “Sunday Morning Futures” exclusive interview.

The Alphabet-owned tech giant is scrambling to right the ship after pulling the plug on Gemini’s image generation features, with CEO Sundar Pichai telling employees last Tuesday the company is working “around the clock” to fix the tool’s bias, calling the images generated by the model “completely unacceptable.”

Social media users had flagged Gemini was creating inaccurate historical images that sometimes replaced White people with images of Black, Native American and Asian people.

Fox News Digital previously tested Gemini multiple times to see what kind of responses it would offer: when the AI was asked to show a picture of a White person, Gemini said it could not fulfill the request because it “reinforces harmful stereotypes and generalizations about people based on their race.”

Sen. Vance expanded on how the alleged bias can have ripple effects on other information sectors, including politics.

“Think about the effect this has on the presidential election when unbiased, non-committed voters are searching things about Donald Trump, and also about Joe Biden, right before they cast their ballots,” the senator said.

“We cannot allow a company that is in bed with some of the worst people in the world to control the flow of information and to bias it in a left-wing direction,” he continued. “We [have] got to break this company up and bring back some common sense standards.”

Addressing the likelihood that legislative action may be taken against Google, the senator claimed there are “growing calls” across the political spectrum for a shakedown on the tech giant, noting it’s gotten “too big, too powerful.”

“My friends on the left, Maria, say they feel like our democracy is under threat. The biggest way our democracy is under threat is you have these massive, international companies that are sort of controlling what we think, what we read, what information we consume,” Vance said.

“That’s a big problem. But I actually do think that there’s going to be growing momentum to rein Google in,” he added. “We saw this with the release of Gemini. This is a radically left-wing company that is trying to control how we consume information. If we let that happen, we are going to get exactly what we deserve.”

On Saturday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, wrote a letter to Google parent company Alphabet, demanding that the company explain whether the Biden administration influenced Gemini’s A.I. error
