Pro-Palestine campaign forces Israeli arms maker to close UK factory

Merrimack 3: Pro-Palestine activists on trial in US for disrupting Israeli arms firmPress TV

A relentless campaign by the Palestine Action group has managed to force Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest arms company, to permanently shut down another weapons factory in Britain.

Palestine Action uses direct action tactics to shut down and disrupt the Israeli regime’s multinational arms dealers. It announced on Thursday that its campaign has forced Elbit Systems to vacate Elite KL factory in Tamworth, Staffordshire, for good.

This is the third Elbit Systems site in the UK to be shut down permanently by Palestine Action.

According to the pro-Palestine group, the company had previously manufactured cooling and power management systems for military vehicles, but was sold on after stating that it faced falling profits and increased security costs resulting from Palestine Action’s efforts.

“Following the recent acquisition of Elite KL Limited by a UK investment syndicate, the newly appointed board has unanimously agreed to withdraw from all future defense contracts and terminate its association with its former parent company,” Elite KL’s new owners, listed as Griffin Newco Ltd, confirmed the news in an email to Palestine Action.

Elbit Systems itself provides 85 percent of the drones and land-based military equipment for the Israeli military, as well as a wide range of the munitions and armaments currently being used by the occupying regime in its brutal campaign in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The company also maintains the surveillance technology deployed at the Gaza border and military checkpoints there.

Analysts say the genocidal attacks on Gaza, which continue to escalate, provide Israel’s arms manufacturers with opportunities to test and develop their latest lethal inventions.

Despite a massive death toll, the Israeli military has failed to achieve the goals it has been seeking to score through the campaign in Gaza, such as “destroying” Hamas, finding the captives that the Gaza-based resistance movement is holding, and bringing about forced displacement of the Palestinian territory’s population to Egypt.

Napoleon’s Defeat at Waterloo

Episode 47 Waterloo and Beyond

Living the French Revolution and Age of Napoleon

Dr Suzanne M Desan

Film Review

After retaking power, Napoleon believed his only hope of regaining French popular support was a successful offensive strike against the Anglo-Dutch and Prussian mobilizing against him in Belgium. His proposed strategy was to use his 125,000 troops, and his strategy to drive a wedge between the Prussian Army (which had 117,000 troops ) and the Anglo-Dutch army (which had 110,000).

After defeating the Prussian army on June 16 at Ligny, he and his generals made a number of strategic errors. The first was their failure to pursue fleeing Prussian troops who circled round to attack the French rear flank. The second was Napoleon’s decision to let the ground to dry out before launching a cavalry charge. The third was the failure of General Grouchy to march his 30,000 troops back to Waterloo after the engagement at Ligny.

Eight thousand French troops were taken prisoner at Waterloo and 25,000 killed or wounded.

Following Napoleon’s defeat at Waterloo, he abdicated (for a second time) on June 22, requesting asylum for himself and his brother Joseph in the US. As he was negotiating for the US Navy to transport them, the British navy blockaded France’s west coast and their army took him prisoner on July 15. Although he also requested exile to the UK, he was eventually sent to St Helena, a remote volcanic tropical island 1,950 km (1,210 miles) west southwestern Africa, and 4,000 km (2,500 mi) east of Rio de Janeiro. Joseph received asylum in the US.

Napoleon took up residence on St Helena with his Irish doctor and four French soldiers and their families. He devoted the rest of his life to spinning his legacy. Soon after arriving, he developed stomach and liver problems, which some speculate related to arsenic poisoning. He eventually developed hepatitis and stomach cancer and died following on Mary 5, 1821 at age 51. It’s still disputed whether he died of stomach cancer or arsenic poisoning, possibly related to the medical potions he was being given.*

With Napoleon’ departure, Louis XVIII resumed the French throne and the Congress of Vienna met to reassign the territory France had conquered. After negotiations dragging out over months, the Congress reduced France to its 1789 borders an ordered the French government to pay $700 million in reparations. It returned two-thirds of Saxony to Prussian, in addition to territory in the Rhineland and Poland. This would leave modern day Germany as a loose confederation of 39 German speaking states and the remainder of Poland (known as Congress Poland) under the rule of the czar’s brother.

Austria resumed control of Lombardy, Veneto and the Dalmatian Coast (in modern day Italy). Britain gained control of Malta and their troops occupied France for three years.

The Napoleonic wars killed a total of 916,000 French troops, 3,000,000 European troops and 1,000,000 civilians. They led Prussia to abolish serfdom and institute mass conscription. The papal states and Piedmont-Sardinia dismantled the democratic reforms Napoleon had instituted. Lombardy, Switzerland and Prussia, in contrast, retained many of the reforms. Naples, Piedmont, Spain and France restored their kings.

Hundreds Die Every Year From Chemotherapy Overdoses Because Doctors Don’t Order Simple Gene Test

By  KFF Health News

Hundreds of cancer patients every year die excruciating deaths from overdoses of common chemotherapy drugs because doctors rarely order a simple gene test — required by European health agencies but not the FDA — that could identify those at risk.

By Arthur Allen

One January morning in 2021, Carol Rosen took a standard treatment for metastatic breast cancer. Three gruesome weeks later, she died in excruciating pain from the very drug meant to prolong her life.

Rosen, a 70-year-old retired schoolteacher, passed her final days in anguish, enduring severe diarrhea and nausea and terrible sores in her mouth that kept her from eating, drinking and eventually speaking. Skin peeled off her body. Her kidneys and liver failed.

“Your body burns from the inside out,” said Rosen’s daughter, Lindsay Murray, of Andover, Massachusetts.

Rosen was one of more than 275,000 cancer patients in the U.S. who are infused each year with fluorouracil, known as 5-FU, or, as in Rosen’s case, take a nearly identical drug in pill form called capecitabine.

These common types of chemotherapy are no picnic for anyone, but for patients who are deficient in an enzyme that metabolizes the drugs, they can be torturous or deadly.

Those patients essentially overdose because the drugs stay in the body for hours rather than being quickly metabolized and excreted.

The drugs kill an estimated 1 in 1,000 patients who take them — hundreds each year — and severely sicken or hospitalize 1 in 50.

Doctors can test for the deficiency and get results within a week — and then either switch drugs or lower the dosage if patients have a genetic variant that carries risk.

Yet a recent survey found that only 3% of U.S. oncologists routinely order the tests before dosing patients with 5-FU or capecitabine.

That’s because the most widely followed U.S. cancer treatment guidelines — issued by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network — don’t recommend preemptive testing.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) added new warnings about the lethal risks of 5-FU to the drug’s label on March 21 following queries from KFF Health News about its policy. However, it did not require doctors to administer the test before prescribing the chemotherapy.

The agency, whose plan to expand its oversight of laboratory testing was the subject of a U.S. House of Representatives hearing, also on March 21, has said it could not endorse the 5-FU toxicity tests because it’s never reviewed them.

But the FDA at present does not review most diagnostic tests, said Daniel Hertz, an associate professor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy.

For years, with other doctors and pharmacists, he has petitioned the FDA to put a black box warning on the drug’s label urging prescribers to test for the deficiency.

“FDA has responsibility to assure that drugs are used safely and effectively,” he said.

The failure to warn, he said, “is an abdication of their responsibility.”

The update is “a small step in the right direction, but not the sea change we need,” he said.

Europe ahead on safety

British and European Union drug authorities have recommended the testing since 2020.

A small but growing number of U.S. hospital systems, professional groups and health advocates, including the American Cancer Society, also endorse routine testing.

Most U.S. insurers, private and public, will cover the tests, which Medicare reimburses for $175, although tests may cost more depending on how many variants they screen for.

In its latest guidelines on colon cancer, the Cancer Network panel noted that not everyone with a risky gene variant gets sick from the drug and that lower dosing for patients carrying such a variant could rob them of a cure or remission.

Many doctors on the panel, including the University of Colorado oncologist Wells Messersmith, have said they have never witnessed a 5-FU death.

In European hospitals, the practice is to start patients with a half- or quarter-dose of 5-FU if tests show a patient is a poor metabolizer, then raise the dose if the patient responds well to the drug.

Advocates for the approach say American oncology leaders are dragging their feet unnecessarily, and harming people in the process.

“I think it’s the intransigence of people sitting on these panels, the mindset of ‘We are oncologists, drugs are our tools, we don’t want to go looking for reasons not to use our tools,’” said Gabriel Brooks, an oncologist and researcher at the Dartmouth Cancer Center.

Oncologists are accustomed to chemotherapy’s toxicity and tend to have a “no pain, no gain” attitude, he said. 5-FU has been in use since the 1950s.

Yet “anybody who’s had a patient die like this will want to test everyone,” said Robert Diasio of the Mayo Clinic, who helped carry out major studies of the genetic deficiency in 1988.

Oncologists often deploy genetic tests to match tumors in cancer patients with the expensive drugs used to shrink them. But the same can’t always be said for gene tests aimed at improving safety, said Mark Fleury, policy director at the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network.

When a test can show whether a new drug is appropriate, “there are a lot more forces aligned to ensure that testing is done,” he said. “The same stakeholders and forces are not involved” with a generic like 5-FU, first approved in 1962, and costing roughly $17 for a month’s treatment.

Oncology is not the only area in medicine in which scientific advances, many of them taxpayer-funded, lag in implementation.

For instance, few cardiologists test patients before they go on Plavix, a brand name for the anti-blood-clotting agent clopidogrel, although it doesn’t prevent blood clots as it’s supposed to in a quarter of the 4 million Americans prescribed it each year.

In 2021, the state of Hawaii won an $834 million judgment from drugmakers it accused of falsely advertising the drug as safe and effective for Native Hawaiians, more than half of whom lack the main enzyme to process clopidogrel.

The fluoropyrimidine enzyme deficiency numbers are smaller — and people with the deficiency aren’t at severe risk if they use topical cream forms of the drug for skin cancers.

Yet even a single miserable, medically caused death was meaningful to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where Carol Rosen was among more than 1,000 patients treated with fluoropyrimidine in 2021.

Her daughter was grief-stricken and furious after Rosen’s death.

“I wanted to sue the hospital. I wanted to sue the oncologist,” Murray said. “But I realized that wasn’t what my mom would want.”

Instead, she wrote Dana-Farber’s chief quality officer, Joe Jacobson, urging routine testing. He responded the same day, and the hospital quickly adopted a testing system that now covers more than 90% of prospective fluoropyrimidine patients.

About 50 patients with risky variants were detected in the first 10 months, Jacobson said.

Dana-Farber uses a Mayo Clinic test that searches for eight potentially dangerous variants of the relevant gene. Veterans Affairs hospitals use an 11-variant test, while most others check for only four variants.

Different tests may be needed for different ancestries

The more variants a test screens for, the better the chance of finding rarer gene forms in ethnically diverse populations.

For example, different variants are responsible for the worst deficiencies in people of African and European ancestry, respectively. There are tests that scan for hundreds of variants that might slow the metabolism of the drug, but they take longer and cost more.

These are bitter facts for Scott Kapoor, a Toronto-area emergency room physician whose brother, Anil Kapoor, died in February 2023 of 5-FU poisoning.

Anil Kapoor was a well-known urologist and surgeon, an outgoing speaker, researcher, clinician and irreverent friend whose funeral drew hundreds. His death at age 58, only weeks after he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, stunned and infuriated his family.

In Ontario, where Kapoor was treated, the health system had just begun testing for four gene variants discovered in studies of mostly European populations.

Anil Kapoor and his siblings, the Canadian-born children of Indian immigrants, carry a gene form that’s apparently associated with South Asian ancestry.

Scott Kapoor supports broader testing for the defect — only about half of Toronto’s inhabitants are of European descent — and argues that an antidote to fluoropyrimidine poisoning, approved by the FDA in 2015, should be on hand.

However, it works only for a few days after ingestion of the drug and definitive symptoms often take longer to emerge.

Most importantly, he said, patients must be aware of the risk.

“You tell them, ‘I am going to give you a drug with a 1 in 1,000 chance of killing you. You can take this test. Most patients would be, ‘I want to get that test and I’ll pay for it,’ or they’d just say, ‘Cut the dose in half.’”

Alan Venook, the University of California-San Francisco oncologist who co-chairs the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, has led resistance to mandatory testing because the answers provided by the test, in his view, are often murky and could lead to undertreatment.

“If one patient is not cured, then you giveth and you taketh away,” he said. “Maybe you took it away by not giving adequate treatment.”

Instead of testing and potentially cutting a first dose of curative therapy, “I err on the latter, acknowledging they will get sick,” he said.

About 25 years ago, one of his patients died of 5-FU toxicity and “I regret that dearly,” he said. “But unhelpful information may lead us in the wrong direction.”

In September 2023, seven months after his brother’s death, Kapoor was boarding a cruise ship on the Tyrrhenian Sea near Rome when he happened to meet a woman whose husband, Atlanta municipal judge Gary Markwell, had died the year before after taking a single 5-FU dose at age 77.

“I was like … that’s exactly what happened to my brother,” said Kapoor.

Murray senses momentum toward mandatory testing. In 2022, the Oregon Health & Science University paid $1 million to settle a suit after an overdose death.

Surge in Long-Term Sickness in UK Coincides With Rollout of COVID Shots

By  John-Michael Dumais

The number of people on long-term sick leave in the U.K. has risen by 700,000 since the spring of 2021, coinciding with the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines, according to healthcare commentator John Campbell, Ph.D. Campbell questioned the government’s transparency and handling of the data on disability and deaths.

Campbell highlighted the trend in a March 21 video, which focused on an exchange in the Houses of Parliament between members of Parliament Andrew Bridgen, who raised the issue, and Mel Stride, who dismissed Bridgen’s concerns.

During the exchange, Bridgen said the number of long-term sick individuals in the U.K. had risen from 2.1 million pre-pandemic to 2.8 million.

“The huge increase started in spring 2021, at the same time as the rollout of the experimental emergency use vaccines,” Bridgen said. “Or does the minister have an alternative explanation?”

Stride, the U.K.’s secretary of state for Work and Pensions, questioned the accuracy of Bridgen’s statement, suggesting that the upward trajectory in long-term sickness numbers predated the vaccination rollout and was related to “mental health issues, muscle and skeletal issues.”

“I certainly do not subscribe to the view that vaccination is in any way unsafe,” Stride said.

Campbell expressed disbelief at how senior politicians could still claim that COVID-19 vaccines are safe. He criticized the “doubling down” on this stance, saying he “can’t imagine what’s going to happen” when the truth about the level of adverse reactions is finally revealed.

‘Hard to fathom’ anything except vaccines behind increase in long-term illness

Campbell presented data from the U.K. Health Advisory and Recovery Team (HART) to support Bridgen’s claims.

HART is comprised of U.K. “doctors, scientists, economists, psychologists and other academic experts” who came together over shared concerns about pandemic policies.

HART’s graphs, based on the U.K.’s Office for National Statistics data, showed a dramatic increase in the number of people economically inactive due to long-term sickness, starting in February to April 2021 for women and April to June 2021 for men.

Source: Combined graphs from HART based on U.K. Office for National Statistics data.

According to HART, “The timing doesn’t fit long covid,” and is “coincidental with the rollout of the covid vaccines to the working aged population. Other changes in public health that may have caused this rise are hard to fathom.”

Campbell acknowledged that mental health issues and musculoskeletal injuries are common causes of long-term sickness. However, he admitted the timing of the increase suggests a potential correlation with the vaccine rollout.

The HART document also referenced similar findings in U.S. disability trends.

‘Fair to say we have an epidemic of heart failure’

Campbell criticized a decision by the U.K.’s Office for Health Improvements and Disparities (OHID) to stop reporting causes of death in the country for 2024.

He also noted that the Office for National Statistics changed the way it monitors excess deaths, which dramatically reduced the apparent excess deaths throughout 2023 but “made no difference at all … to the amount of people that died and the grieving relatives,” Campbell said.

He noted, however, that under the new system, it “doesn’t look as bad on the government now, presumably.”

Campbell questioned the government’s lack of transparency and the reasons behind not wanting to monitor why people are dying.

He presented data from the OHID showing excess mortality in England across various age groups. The data revealed increased deaths in the 0-24 age group starting in 2021 and continuing through 2022 and 2023, with the vast majority of these deaths in the latter two years being unrelated to COVID-19.

Similar patterns of excess deaths were observed in the 25-49, 50-64, 65-74, 75-84 and 85+ age groups. Campbell expressed frustration at the lack of more detailed age group data, such as separate categories for ages 0-12 and 12-24.

Campbell presented data showing changes in the causes of death in England since 2021. The data revealed notable increases in deaths from ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular disease and heart failure.

“I think it’s fair to say we have an epidemic of heart failure,” he said.

In contrast, deaths from other respiratory diseases decreased, which Campbell found “rather hard to explain.”

While deaths from Alzheimer’s disease were slightly down — likely due to the increased overall mortality — deaths from cirrhosis of the liver showed a “huge increase,” he said.

“It’s a scarred, fibrosed liver with fibrous scar tissue in it, and it’s the end result of any chronic inflammatory disease.”

‘Enough to make you suspicious’

Campbell expressed frustration with the government’s handling of the excess deaths and long-term sickness data.

“From this official government site [OHID], this time next year, we’re not going to know any more than we know at the end of December 2023,” Campbell said.

He also criticized Stride’s response to Bridgen’s questions in Parliament. “Ministers still completely denying there’s any problem, and … getting it wrong, or at least giving very incomplete answers, and it’s enough to make you suspicious.”

Campbell said the evidence presented in the video suggests there are “questions to be answered” and wondered, “How long can the government go on denying this problem?”

More Young People Getting Cancer — What’s Behind the New ‘Public Health Crisis’?

By  Suzanne Burdick, Ph.D.

Dr. Pierre Kory and journalist Mary Beth Pfeiffer on Tuesday published their fourth op-ed on excess deaths in young people. They called for an investigation of COVID-19 pandemic policies — including mRNA vaccination mandates and lockdowns — and their aftermath.

Kory and Pfeiffer addressed Princess Catherine’s diagnosis in an op-ed published Tuesday in The Washington Times, in which they said there’s evidence suggesting that the marked increase in cancers among young people may be linked to COVID-19 mRNA vaccines and pandemic policies, such as lockdowns and vaccine mandates.

“We are facing an emerging toll of illness and death in the young,” they wrote. “We cannot shirk from asking what is causing it.”

Kory — president and chief medical officer of the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance — told The Defender that early-onset cancer and excess deaths are “poised to become the next public health crises that our medical system is not equipped to manage.”

This latest op-ed is Kory and Pfeiffer’s fourth. Their three prior op-eds — which appeared in USA Today, Newsweek and The Hill — also called attention to excess mortality and disability rate spikes occurring after the global COVID-19 vaccine campaign.

“Our intention for writing the op-eds is to raise the profile of this important issue to prepare for a future crisis and advance the conversation on possible causes and treatments,” Kory said.

In their latest op-ed, Kory and Pfeiffer said an “unthinkable twist” in cancer rates is occurring and it has garnered the attention of the American Cancer Society, Yale Medicine and the Harvard Gazette.

According to the American Cancer Society’s 2024 report, about 2 million people in the U.S. will develop malignancies this year — and a larger share of the more than 600,000 who are estimated to die will be younger than before.

CDC data show ‘red flags’

Kory and Pfeiffer cited cancer death records through 2023 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that included data two years beyond what was in the American Cancer Society report.

“The later data, which is provisional,” they wrote, “shows a cancer pattern that appears to have gone from slow simmer to rapid boil in the heat of a pandemic.”

They found that cancer deaths across all ages rose by 2% from pre-pandemic 2019 to 2023 — and in people 15-44 years old, cancer-related mortality rose at double that rate.

“Why is this happening now?” Kory and Pfeiffer asked. “Moreover, what will be done to address it?”

They saw additional “red flags” in the CDC data including:

  • Deaths from colorectal cancer rose 17% among people ages 15-44 in 2019-2023 — 4 times the population-wide increase.
  • Uterine cancer deaths rose 37% among people ages 25-44 from 2019-2023, and 15% overall.
  • There were much larger increases, from 2019-2022, in liver and pancreatic cancer mortality in young adults than in the overall population.

The U.S. Society of Actuaries also reported 76% and 101% increases in death claims among insured workers ages 25-34 and 35-44. “COVID-19 was ruled out as the cause,” Kory and Pfeiffer said.

The public needs to explore the role of lockdowns, top-down treatment protocols and vaccines that were often mandated as a condition of employment, they said.

“By top-down treatment protocols,” Kory told The Defender, “I’m referring to how the public health and medical authorities made edicts on treatments that had to be followed and could not be questioned without consequence.”

“These same authorities were not open to understanding the novel treatments showing promise on the frontlines and instead allowed information to flow only one way — from the top down,” he said.

‘Just a tragic coincidence?’

In a March 27 Substack post about the data exposed in the op-ed, Kory said he and Pfeiffer compiled and interpreted these and other data from government and professional society sources after “bearing witness to so much medical carnage.”

“Just a few weeks ago,” he said, “a 20-year-old patient of mine died of glioblastoma.”

He added:

“If that is not tragic enough, her parents told me that a 20 year-old man in her college friend group had died of the same a few weeks earlier. Unsurprisingly, their university had a vaccine mandate.

“Just a tragic coincidence right?”

But reviewing cancer facts and figures has convinced Kory that such cases aren’t just a coincidence.

“We believe that the data strongly if not definitively implicates the COVID mRNA vaccine as the most proximate cause.”

Humbling a Goliath: US-Led ‘No-Fail’ Mission Against the Houthis is Failing

Guided-missile destroyers USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109) and USS Farragut (DDG 99) sail alongside Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). File photo. - Sputnik International, 1920, 27.03.2024
By Ilya Tsukanov – Sputnik – 27.03.2024

The US established a maritime ‘coalition of the willing’ in the Red Sea in December 2023 and began bombing Yemen in January in response to the Houthis’ bid to shut down Israeli-affiliated commercial traffic through the waterway in solidarity with Palestine. The Houthis have vowed to continue their operations until the carnage in Gaza stops.

The US-led military campaign in the Red Sea which the Pentagon wanted to make into a “no-fail mission” has turned into a modern-day David vs. Goliath PR disaster, with the powerful American naval and air might arrayed against the Houthis proving unable to stop militia attacks or reopen the Red Sea to shipping, US business media has reported.

“The gray F/A-18 fighter jets hurtled one by one from the deck of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower into the heat of the Red Sea morning, scrambling to counter the latest attack drone launched by the Houthis. The $56 million aircraft were part of a coalition operation that nullified the attack, returning hours later as they have almost daily for the last several months,” Bloomberg wrote in a report Wednesday highlighting the difficulties the West has faced trying to stop Ansar Allah.

“Yet for all the costly hardware the US and its allies have thrown at the Islamist group from northwest Yemen, they haven’t been able to stop the attacks on civilian freighters and warships. As a result, the world’s biggest shipping companies are still largely avoiding a route that once carried 15% of global commerce,” the outlet lamented.

Rear Admiral Marc Miguez, commander of USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier-led American armada operating in the Red Sea, said that while the US has “reduced some” of the Houthis’ missile and drone capability through strikes, there’s no way to predict when the fleet’s “job” in the region will be done, since estimates on Houthi missile numbers are “kind of a black hole for the US intelligence-wise.”

Shipping firms and companies impacted by the Red Sea crisis are even less optimistic.

“It’s quite a binary situation,” Hapag-Lloyd CEO Rolf Habben Jansen explained earlier this month. “It is either safe for our people or it is not. As long as it is not safe, we will not send our people through the Red Sea.” Jansen didn’t rule out the Houthi blockade could last throughout the rest of the year and into 2025.

A Western official predicted that the Houthis will be able to continue their blockade at its current intensity for “months” to come. Others accused the Houthis of getting help from outside via Iran, including everything from weapons components to sea mine-laying specialists. Iran has “categorically” denied providing any military or weapons assistance to the Houthis.

“[The Houthis] don’t create inertial navigation systems. They don’t create medium-range ballistic missile engines. They don’t create the stage separations on these medium-range ballistic missiles or the anti-ship cruise missiles,” US Central Command commander Gen. Michael Kurilla told a Senate hearing earlier this month, accusing Ansar Allah of getting help from outside, and ignoring the vast stocks of Soviet-era ballistic, cruise and air defense missile technologies which the Houthis have inherited and upgraded since 2014.

Unable to stop the Houthis at sea, Western officials have rejected any talk of a ground operation against the militia, warning that if the group escalates its targeting of Western warships, the coalition may respond by assassinating Houthi leaders.

An anonymous US military official told Bloomberg that the US is on the “wrong side of the cost curve” in the Red Sea campaign, whose economic costs are starting to add up.
While the Houthis can build and launch simple ballistic and cruise missiles or drones at a cost of thousands to tens of thousands of dollars, the anti-missile interceptors US warships launch to take down militia threats are costing US taxpayers up to hundreds of thousands of dollars apiece, with F/A-18 jets costing the Navy $25,000 or more per hour to operate (not counting whatever munitions they happen to expend during their mission).

The Houthis’ campaign of ship seizures, missile and drone attacks have caused commercial traffic through the southern Red Sea to drop by about 70 percent in March compared to early December, with container shipping reportedly down 90 percent, gas tanker flow halting almost completely, and Israel’s main Red Sea port forced to lay off half of its workforce.

Ansar Allah began its partial blockade of the Red Sea in November with the seizure of the Galaxy Leader, an Israeli billionaire-owned ro-ro car carrier, expanding operations to target not only Israeli, but US and British commercial vessels and warships after the pair of nations began a campaign of airstrikes against Yemen in January. Last month, the militia warned European countries setting up their own maritime security operations in the Red Sea that “any idiocy you commit will affect your ships and navigation.” Major European shipping companies including Maersk have said they would continue to avoid the Red Sea in spite of the EU’s security mission.

The Tragic History of the World’s First Post-Colonial Black Nation’s Struggle for Freedom and Autonomy

Jimmy “Barbecue” Chezizier and the G9

K.D.Lewis

The Revolutionary Mischaracterized as a Butcher

The current state-sponsored news coverage regarding the island of Haiti, describes its current state as one infested with gang violence including heinous acts ranging from trafficking to rape to cannibalism with one of its ring leaders being Ex-Police Officer, Jimmy Chezizier, nicknamed “Barbecue”. It is such accused violence that serves as an incurious justification for financially sanctioning the leader of Haiti’s largest anti-crime militia as well as supporting a U.S. backed intervention utilizing Kenyan and other ECOWAS militaries to seize the nation.

The propaganda surrounding Chezizier’s resistance group’s (known as the G-9) actions against the local perpetrators of violence has provided cover for the imperialist aspirations of the United States’ military industrial complex. Dan Cohen’s 3-part documentary Another Vision: Inside Haiti’s Uprising would display Chezizier in the light of a community leader of the impoverished town of Delmas whose entrance into revolutionary resistance began with his desire to protect his home of Delmas 6 from gang violence and his disillusionment from the effectiveness of Haiti’s judicial and law enforcement system. He noticed the bourgeois class colluded with police and government leaders to avoid accountability from the country’s criminal justice system.

Though formed in 2020 following Chezizier departure from Haiti’s UDMO police force, the G9, accused of being an international criminal organization, would see greater expansion after a police sponsored attack against various areas of Delmas, using gangs from Ruelle Maillart to burn down homes and bulldoze schools. These opposition gangs to the G9 are reportedly sponsored by Haiti’s wealthy class and the Organization of American States (OAS). No human rights organizations reported on such a massacre as well, including the United States backed Haitian human rights group, the RNDDH.

The response from Chezizier to these acts included providing shelter and food within undamaged sectors of Delmas as well as an avocation and plea for unity among the poor armed gangs and militias to resist what he describes as the top 5% families that own and control 85% of Haiti’s wealth. Despite antagonism from various parties including the U.S. sympathetic leadership in Haiti, the violent bourgeois-backed gangs, the Western media, and a U.S. government prepared for intervention, Jimmy Chezizier holds to his vision of a unified proletariat revolution against the corrupted bourgeois system while also opposing foreign intervention from Western powers, specifically the United States.

On January 1, 1804, the world’s first black independent nation following centuries of European settler colonialism was established. Formerly known as San Domingue, Haiti successfully defeated and ousted its colonial oppressors after a 13 year revolt turned revolution. As monumental of a victory this newly acquired independence was, the immediate response from Western imperialism has contributed greatly to the nation’s perpetual state of misery.

Just two decades following their independence, Haiti was forced to pay their former enslavers for their independence at gun-point. Receiving their final payment from the Haitian government in 1922, France successfully stole $560 million (value in 2022) from Haiti. This stolen money was used to not only construct marvels such as the Eiffel Tower, but also build France’s banking system, benefitting the Credit Industriel et Commercial (C.I.C) the most. The New York Time’s “The Ransom” explains how this vindictive looting of Haiti has resulted in the loss of upwards of $21 Billion had the money remained with Haiti. This singular action by a colonial power had a grand negative impact on Haiti’s development as a nation, and it was only the first.

Happening almost simultaneously with this heist, the United States set its sights on the resource rich yet economically destitute nation of Haiti, starting with President Andrew Johnson’s aspirations to annex the entire island of Hispaniola in 1868. His successor, Ulysses S. Grant would support a commission tasked with generating positive PR for the possible annexation of Santo Domingo, utilizing Frederick Douglass as the face of black support for this imperialist action. Though a vote for the annexation would fail in the U.S. Senate, the United States would continue to include itself in the nation’s affairs, later invading and occupying Haiti in 1915.

This occupation lasted for 19 years. During that time, the United States stole upwards of $500,000 from Haiti’s National Bank and transferred that money into various banks on Wall Street, Citigroup being one of those banks. This act essentially gave the U.S. unilateral control over Haiti’s largest financial institution.

Corporate Exploitation and Dictators

After the Good Neighbor Policy of 1934 led to the complete removal of American troops from the island, World War II offered yet another opportunity for the West to exploit Haiti’s resources. In 1941, the Haitian Government with the United States established the Société Haitiane-Américaine de Développement Agricole (SHADA).

This entity was an agricultural corporation financed and controlled by the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM). Its board consisted of 3 Haitian and 3 American representatives, and key leaders in the corporation were American as well. This initiative was designed to expand Haiti’s agricultural-based economy and focus on rubber production during the war. The end result of SHADA left the Haitian government $4,000,000.00 in debt to EXIM, the United States and Canada replacing Europe (France specifically) as the largest importers of Haitian goods, and the loss of farmland for Haiti’s “peasant class” to the SHADA corporation.

From this point to the late 1980s, Haiti suffered under dictatorial rule of faux-populist Francois Duvalier and later his son, Jean-Claude Duvalier.

The Duvalier reign began in 1957 as a response to violence from the mulatto population mainly stemming from the Dominican Republic. Francois “Papa Doc” Duvalier expressed a vision of dominant political and economic power held by the black masses early into his administration. His actions, on the other hand, were that of a demagogue who ended up establishing his own corrupt paramilitary dubbed “The Bogeymen ” that terrorized the local population. Later in 1964, he declared himself “Ruler for Life ”.

Under his leadership, Haiti suffered from a lack of tourism, an increase in tensions with the D.R., and extreme repression from his regime. His 19 year old son, nicknamed “Baby Doc” would replace him in 1971. Though Jean-Claude Duvalier’s approach to rule focused more on establishing an image of international respectability, the remnants of his father’s leadership would lead to a mass uprising ousting the dictatorial dynasty in 1987.

A Sanguine Transition Thwarted by Traitors

In the later winter of 1991, social and economic reformist Jean-Betrand Aristride, overwhelmingly supported by the Haitian masses, would hold the mantle of Haiti’s first democratically elected president. This victory was short-lived.

Some of Aristride’s ambitious reforms included extending more civilian control over the army, the “encouraged” retirement for military leaders of the last long-standing regime, and abolishing the corrupted system of rural chiefs, who stole land from poor peasants. It was these perceived attacks on the wealthy and former military authorities that sparked a coup d’etat against Aristride only seven months after his election. The coup was led by Lieutenant General Raoul Cedras, who later received amnesty and thousands of dollars in payments per month to reside in a secluded area in Haiti, both received from the U.S. government.

What followed this coup were acts of extreme violence from the military junta against various worker, farmer, and student resistance groups and supporters of Aristride. These actions included armed attacks against independent Haitian radio stations and the mass arrest of 150 students associated with the Federation of Haitian Students (FENEH).

The response from the United States intelligence agencies under George H.W. Bush presidency was a mix of facilitating negotiations between Cedras’ faction and Aristride and a series of character-assassination against Aristride, blaming the accused human rights violations from his supporters toward the Duvalier-sympathetic opposition to Aristride for the 1991 coup d’etat.

Contrastly, in the following Clinton Administration, the harsh tone toward Aristride would subside, in fact, this administration would spearhead a military intervention to remove the repressive Cedras regime in Operation Uphold Democracy. This benevolent action, however, is contradicted by the C.I.A. ‘s involvement in backing the very regime that helped Cedras overthrow Aristride and operated as an active organization against his reinstallment as president, the Front for the Advancement and Progress of Haiti (FRAPH).

FRAPH was implicated as active participants in the Haitian Armed Forces (under Cedras) acts of violence, terror, and repression per the Center for Justice & Accountability. Its leader, Emmanuel “Toto” Constant, was exposed for being an asset for the C.I.A. in 1993, likely since the initial ousting of Aristride in 1991. Nonetheless, the 1994 occupation of Haiti by the United States (again) would “successfully ” remove Cedras and his faction from power, paving a way for Aristride’s return.

A Second Chance Destroyed by Greed and Colonial Instinct

The return of Aristride was not an action of goodwill by the U.S. as imperialists may believe, however a transactional act with the conditions that Aristride would develop economic policies that meet the approval of Western power, one condition being the complete privatization of Haiti’s state-owned enterprises. A condition Aristride didn’t follow, presumably due to the nature of the condition opening a huge window for American economic control in the sovereign nation of Haiti.

This refusal to submit to Western-will coupled with the overwhelming support Aristride and the Lavashe party (the “progressive” party associated with Aristride) received from the proletariat made the democratically elected president a threat and a target.

After winning his second election, Aristride would face opposition from leftover remains of the U.S. backed FRAPH and West-friendly Haitian elite. A notable opposition leader was Andre Apaid, a factory-owner with a U.S. passport who led a gang called “the Group of 184”, believed to be conjured for the purposes of painting Aristride and his regime as authoritarian. Alongside them, the aforementioned violent and oppressive FRAPH, which continued its practice of terrorizing, maiming, and abusing Aristride supporters.

The United States saw the inevitable bloodshed caused by the past actions of its meddling in Haitian affairs and used it as leverage to force Aristride into exile in 2004. Afterwards, the United States military would again enter Haiti and quickly dispose of the violent opposition to Aristride. With the help of France and sanctions supported by the United Nations, Haiti’s first elected president was replaced by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Boniface Alexandre, acting as the face of a puppet regime to the UN. This regime change included replacing the Lavashe majority in leadership with a cabinet full of former Duvelier-ists.

The Exploitation of a Natural Disaster

Many still haven’t forgotten the devastation of the 7.0 Earthquake that struck Haiti just a few weeks into 2010, but many may not be aware of the devastation caused by the U.S. failure of a response to this natural catastrophe. Under the supervision of then Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, the U.S.-led humanitarian response consisted of haphazard management and faulty oversight of the nongovernment organizations (NGOs), most notable example being the Red Cross unaccounted half a billion dollars in donations.

There was also very little care for the autonomy of the local population, pointed out by Clinton’s own daughter. She would also find issue with the lack of security offered by U.S. military presence. The more sinister acts of the Clintons was the pimping of the “charitable” Clinton Foundation and Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund, which received donation pledges totaling $10 Billion.

After raising this money, Bill Clinton would be appointed as co-chairman of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission. This essentially granted him direct control over the money received through both foundations, leaving nothing much to show other than nickeled-and-dimed assistance and a failed $300 million garment industrial park established by the Clintons and a fashion executive in 2012.

Puppets and Patriots

This U.S. debacle successfully placed Haiti at the mercy of the U.S. The leaders during and following the failed attempt to save Haiti were Michael Martelly and Josavah Moise. Martelly, infamous for embezzling over $4 billion dollars of aid from Venezuela via the PetroCaribe agreement beginning under socialist Venezuelan president, Hugo Chavez in 2005. This stolen money is speculated to have been utilized to boost his successor, Moise, into power.

Under Moise, the living conditions in Haiti continued to deteriorate. The PetroCaribe agreement was effectively eliminated in 2017 due to the heavy sanctions placed on Venezuela by, who other than, the United States under the Trump administration. The end of the PetroCaribe would prove to be a bridge too far for the exploited masses, leading to mass civil disruption and the assassination of Moise in 2021.

His assassination left the prime minister, Ariel Henry as the current recognized head of state in Haiti. However, that view isn’t shared by the Haitian proletariat and its de facto leader, Jimmy Chezizier.

Jimmy Chezizier is a son of Haiti, with experience in fighting crime and the compassion grand enough to seek unity amongst all who suffer under the repression set upon them but their social and political elite as well as the Western foreign entity that insist on entangling itself with said Haitian elite, calling this new family “G9”. It is high time the first black independent nation be given the space and the courtesy of establishing their own path, especially that set forth by the poor masses in the nation.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi: notorious terrorist or American agent?

Zarqawi, once a petty criminal turned Al-Qaeda leader in Iraq and the US posterchild for takfiri terrorism, served as a US intelligence asset tasked with quelling Iraq’s resistance to occupation and fanning sectarian hate for the benefit of both Tel Aviv and Washington.

Ranked second only to Osama bin Laden, the US’s most notorious declared enemy during the so-called War on Terror was Jordanian jihadist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the founder of Al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI).

But a closer examination of Zarqawi’s life and his impact on events in Iraq shows that he was likely a product and tool of US intelligence.

Neoconservative strategists within the administration of George W. Bush utilized Zarqawi as a pawn to justify the illegal US invasion of Iraq in 2003 to the American public.

Moreover, he was instrumental in fomenting internal discord within Iraqi resistance groups opposing the US occupation, ultimately instigating a sectarian civil war between Iraq’s Sunni and Shia communities.

Israel’s plan unfolds in Iraq

This deliberate strategy of tension in Iraq advanced Tel Aviv’s goal of perpetuating the country’s vulnerabilities, dividing populations along sectarian lines, and weakening its army’s ability to challenge Israel in the region.

It has long been known that the CIA created Al-Qaeda as part of its covert war on the Soviet Red Army in Afghanistan in the 1980s and supported Al-Qaeda elements in various wars, including in BosniaKosovo, and Chechnya in the 1990s.

Additionally, evidence points to CIA support for Al-Qaeda-affiliated groups during the clandestine war in Syria launched in 2011 amid the so-called Arab Spring.

Despite this history, western journalists, analysts, and historians still take at face value that Zarqawi and AQI were sworn enemies of the US.

Without understanding Zarqawi’s role as a US intelligence asset, it is impossible to understand the destructive role the US (and Israel) played in the bloodshed inflicted on Iraq, not only during the initial 2003 invasion but in launching the subsequent sectarian strife as well.

It is also essential to understand the importance of current Iraqi efforts to expel US forces and rid the country of US influence moving forward.

Who was Zarqawi?

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was born Ahmed Fadhil Nazar al-Khalaylah but later changed his name to reflect his birthplace, Zarqa, an industrial area near Amman, Jordan. In and out of prison in his youth, he would become radicalized during his time behind bars.

Zarqawi traveled to Afghanistan to fight with the CIA-backed mujahideen against the Soviets in Afghanistan in the late 1980s. Upon his return to Jordan, he helped start a local Islamic militant group called Jund al-Sham and was imprisoned in 1992.

After his release from prison following a general amnesty, Zarqawi returned to Afghanistan in 1999. The Atlantic notes that he first met Osama bin Laden at this time, who suspected that Zarqawi’s group had been infiltrated by Jordanian intelligence while in prison, which accounted for his early release.

Zarqawi then fled Afghanistan to the pro-US Kurdistan region of northern Iraq and established a training camp for his fighters in the fateful year of 2001.

The missing link

Eager to implicate Iraq in the 9/11 attacks, it wasn’t long before the Bush administration officials soon used Zarqawi’s presence to shroud Washington’s geopolitical agendas there.

In February 2003, at the UN Security Council, US Secretary of State Colin Powell claimed that Zarqawi’s presence in Iraq proved Saddam was harboring a terrorist network, necessitating a US invasion.

According to the Council on Foreign Relations, “This assertion was later disproved, but it irreversibly thrust Zarqawi’s name into the international spotlight.”

Powell made the claim even though the Kurdish region of Iraq, where Zarqawi established his base, was effectively under US control. The US air force imposed a no-fly zone on the region after the 1991 Gulf War. Israel’s foreign intelligence agency, the Mossad, was also known to have a presence there, a reality that Iran actively acknowledges and remains vigilant about.

Curiously, despite Zarqawi’s base being nestled within the confines of Iraqi Kurdistan, the Bush administration opted for inaction when presented with a golden opportunity to neutralize him.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the Pentagon drew up detailed plans in June 2002 to strike Zarqawi’s training camp but that “the raid on Mr Zarqawi didn’t take place. Months passed with no approval of the plan from the White House.”

Lawrence Di Rita, the Pentagon’s chief spokesman, justified the inaction by claiming “the camp was of interest only because it was believed to be producing chemical weapons,” even though the threat of chemical and biological weapons falling into the hands of terrorists was supposedly the most important reason for toppling Saddam Hussein’s government.

In contrast, General John M. Keane, the US Army’s vice chief of staff at the time, explained that the intelligence on Zarqawi’s presence in the camp was “sound,” the risk of collateral damage was low, and that the camp was “one of the best targets we ever had.”

The Bush administration firmly refused to approve the strikes, despite US General Tommy Franks pointing to Zarqawi’s camp as among the “examples of the terrorist ‘harbors’ that President Bush had vowed to crush.”

As soon as Zarqawi’s presence in Iraq had accomplished its initial purpose of selling the war on Iraq to the US public, and after the March 2003 invasion was already underway, the White House finally approved targeting his camp with airstrikes. But by then, the Wall Street Journal adds, Zarqawi had already fled the area.

Singling out Shiites

Then, in January 2004, the key pillar of the Bush administration’s justification for war unraveled. David Kay, the weapons inspector tasked with finding Iraq’s WMDs, publicly declared, “I don’t think they exist,” after nine months of searching.

The Guardian reported that the failure to locate any WMDs was such a devastating blow to the rationale for invading Iraq that now “even Bush was rewriting the reasons for going to war.”

On 9 February, as the WMD embarrassment mounted, Secretary of State Powell again claimed that before the invasion, Zarqawi “was active in Iraq and doing things that should have been known to the Iraqis. And we’re still looking for those connections and to prove those connections.”

Two weeks before, US intelligence had conveniently made public a 17-page letter it claimed Zarqawi had written. Its author claimed responsibility for multiple terror attacks, argued that fighting Iraq’s Shia was more important than fighting the occupying US army, and vowed to spark a civil war between the country’s Sunni and Shia communities.

In subsequent months, US officials attributed a series of brutal bombings targeting Iraq’s Shia to Zarqawi without providing evidence of his involvement.

In March 2004, suicide attacks on Shia shrines in Karbala and the Kadhimiya district of Baghdad killed 200 worshippers commemorating Ashura. In April, car bombings in the Shia-majority city of Basra in southern Iraq killed at least 50.

Regarding the Karbala and Kadhimiya attacks, Al-Qaeda issued a statement through Al-Jazeera strongly denying any involvement, but Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) head Paul Bremer insisted Zarqawi was involved.

Zarqawi’s alleged attacks on Iraq’s Shia helped drive a wedge between the Sunni and Shia resistance to the US occupation and sowed the seeds of a future sectarian war.

This proved helpful to the US army, which was trying to prevent Sunni and Shia factions from joining forces in resistance to the occupation.

‘Dividing our enemies’

In April 2004, President Bush ordered a full-scale invasion to take control of Fallujah, a city in Anbar province that had become the epicenter of the Sunni resistance.

Vowing to “pacify” the city, Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt launched the attack using helicopter gunships, unmanned surveillance drones, and F-15 warplanes.

The attack became controversial as the Marines killed many civilians, destroyed large numbers of homes and buildings, and displaced the majority of the city’s residents.

Eventually, due to widespread public pressure, President Bush was forced to call off the assault, and Fallujah became a ‘no-go’ zone for US forces.

The failure to maintain troops on the ground in Fallujah had US planners turning back to their Zarqawi card to weaken the Sunni resistance from within. In June, a senior Pentagon official claimed that “fresh information” had come to light showing Zarqawi “may be hiding in the Sunni stronghold city of Fallujah.”

The Pentagon official “cautioned, however, that the information is not specific enough to allow a military operation to be launched to try to find al-Zarqawi.”

The sudden appearance of Zarqawi and other Jihadists in Fallujah at this time was not an accident.

In a report written for the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) entitled “Dividing our enemies,” Thomas Henriksen explained that the US military used Zarqawi to exploit differences among its enemies in Fallujah and elsewhere.

He writes that the US military maintained the goal of “fomenting enemy-on-enemy deadly encounters” so that America’s “enemies eliminate each other,” adding that “When divisions were absent, American operators instigated them.”

The Fallujah Case Study

Henriksen then cites events in Fallujah in the fall of 2004 as “a case study” that “showcased the clever machinations required to set insurgents battling insurgents.”

He explained that the takfiri–Salafi views of Zarqawi and his fellow jihadis caused tension with local insurgents who were nationalists and embraced a Sufi religious outlook. Local insurgents also opposed Zarqawi’s tactics, which included kidnapping foreign journalists, killing civilians through indiscriminate bombings, and sabotaging the country’s oil and electricity infrastructure.

Henriksen further explained that US psychological operations, which took “advantage of and deepened the intra-insurgent forces” in Fallujah, led to “nightly gun battles not involving coalition forces.”

These divisions soon extended to the other Sunni resistance strongholds of Ramadi in Anbar province and the Adhamiya district of Baghdad.

The divisions instigated by US intelligence through Zarqawi in Fallujah paved the way for another US invasion of the restive city in November 2004, days after Bush secured re-election.

BBC journalist Mark Urban reported that 2,000 bodies were recovered after the battle, including hundreds of civilians.

Conveniently, “Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was not among the dead,” having slipped through the US cordon around the city before the assault began, Urban added.

Domestic consumption

US military intelligence later acknowledged using psychological operations to promote Zarqawi’s role in the Sunni insurgency fighting against the US occupation.

The Washington Post reported in April 2006 that “The US military is conducting a propaganda campaign to magnify the role of the leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq,” which helped “the Bush administration tie the war to the organization responsible for the 11 September 2001 attacks.”

The Post quotes US Colonel Derek Harvey as explaining, “Our own focus on Zarqawi has enlarged his caricature, if you will – made him more important than he really is.”

As the Post reports further, the internal documents detailing the psychological operation campaign “explicitly list the ‘US Home Audience’ as one of the targets of a broader propaganda campaign.”

Sectarianism, a key US–Israeli goal

Large-scale sectarian war erupted following the February 2006 bombing of the Shia Al-Askari Shrine in the Sunni city of Samarra in central Iraq, although the full extent was mitigated thanks to religious guidance issued by the highest and most influential Shia authority in the land, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani.

Al-Qaeda did not take credit for the attack, but President Bush later claimed that “the bombing of the shrine was an Al-Qaeda plot, all intending to create sectarian violence.”

Zarqawi was finally killed in a US airstrike a few months later, on 7 June 2006. An Iraqi legislator, Wael Abdul-Latif, said Zarqawi had the phone numbers of senior Iraqi officials stored in his cell phone at the time of his death, further showing Zarqawi was being used by elements within the US-backed Iraqi government.

Dr. Füllmich Statement From Prison – ‘Their House of Cards is Collapsing’

Patricia Harrity

Dr. Reiner Füllmich has continued to analyse evidence of the crimes against humanity from prison. that he and the Corona Committee had been working to expose since 2020. The corruption is being increasingly seen worldwide and “Their house of cards is collapsing” according to Reiner, “and we as international attorneys will do our best to speed up that process and make sure that Justice is done.” He adds ‘The windows of truth that are opening worldwide and the light that shines through these windows is in the process of identifying all of those who are responsible, no one will escape Justice.

Reiner Füllmich made this statement in a a break from the his trial due to the Easter holidays which has followed eight days in court. He has now been able to summarise the criminal proceedings against him and concludes that Hoffman and Antonia Fischer were only interested in ‘getting their hands on the Corona Committees donation. He claims that ‘through ‘fraud and extortion’, they had gotten their hands on roughly 1.5 million euros of his and his client’s money.’

Viviane Fischer, however, has confirmed in court that they both took loans in order to secure the Corona Committee’s donations which were at risk from “government attack, but they were both able to pay the monies back.

What this means is accusations that Reiner had embezzled committee funds are unfounded. In fact, there seems to be no reason for the man to have been kept in jail at all, and he believes, as many others do, that the criminal proceedings are an effort to shut him up and put him in jail and can see that the ‘DA’s case, is dead in the water.’

Reiner therefore, seems to be more positive for the future, which can be heard in his statement which you can listen to in full in the video of the audio below. However, I have also transcribed the audio recording verbatim and have added it underneath the video for those unable to play videos.

Statement From Dr. Reiner Füllmich 22nd March 2024.

Transcript.

Dear friends, because of the Easter holidays there is a two- week break in the criminal proceeding against me.

This gives me a chance to summarise the current status, the status quo of that proceeding, but it also gives me a chance to look beyond this proceeding at a very positive development that is happening in reality in that reality which is the backdrop to the efforts to shut me up and put me in jail.

It looks like the corona pandemic which actually opened my eyes and made me aware of an up until then unimaginable web of lies is um now unraveling and even officially unraveling as a planemic.

The windows of truth that are opening worldwide and the light that shines through these windows is in the process of identifying all of those who are responsible, no one will escape Justice.

Without Scientific Basis.

1:09 A new article by German journalist Paul Schreyer, in the publication Multipolar is based on on intensive research and a number of lawsuits which were brought under the German version of FOIA. the Freedom of Information Act.

And it clearly shows that, this article clearly shows that the German equivalent of the CDC, the RKI which up until March 16th of 2020 based on real science, had informed the public that the Corona virus was nothing but the flu, changed its tune overnight when on March 16th a high ranking member of the RKI who was intimately connected with a plandemic industry and its mouthpiece that WHO in tandem with much of the rest of the Western World of course, decided that there was now reason to escalate the hitherto harmless situation into a pandemic and scare the hell out of the population to test their obedience.

This happened without any scientific basis, without any scientific basis, it was based purely on a political signal from the plandemic industry and its mouth piece the WHO.

(Source Added by Expose author. )

Even though Paul Schreyer States in that article that the name of the person who did the ‘dirty work’ for the WHO in Germany is not known, it seems very clear to me that he knows precisely who it is, and so do we.

By the way, this of course will be of huge importance even in the German systems courts of Law and as they, up until now, blindly and without questioning anything that came from the RKI, took for granted that there was a dangerous novel Corona virus that was responsible for a pandemic.

Now it is clear that the RKI is corrupt and it looks like similar developments can be seen worldwide.

The House of Cards is Collapsing

I was just informed by one of the people who wrote me and gave me some information, that Fauci, in the United States, seems to have admitted that there was no basis whatsoever let alone the scientific basis for the social distancing and the distances prescribed for social distancing.

Their house of cards is collapsing and we as international attorneys will do our best to speed up that process and make sure that Justice is done.

The Criminal Case Against Him

As far as the criminal case against me is concerned, it is very simple the prosecution’s main witnesses the strange attorney Mr Hoffman and my former co-host Viviane Fisher, whose performance in court rivaled that of Mr Hoffman, have been questioned.

They gave their testimony, Mr Hoffman came across as a highly aggressive, uncontrolled person whose inexplicable and also unexplained hatred for me, Viviane Fischer and actually the entire world she had to admit, that there was absolutely no basis for any of the massive accusations of me having threatened him in numerous weird ways, among others, with a Winchester rifle, or by radicalising the members of the political party whose co-chairman I was for a while.

One of the more bizarre accusations he made was that he felt threatened by me because of this quote unquote ‘ethnic background.’ When we asked him what this meant, he stated that he was an Ashkenazi Jew. Well if that is true, and I don’t know that it is, it would have been even if I had known about it it, would have been totally irrelevant to me.

Hoffman – is “Simply and Idiot”

The only reason I had shown him, indeed my utter disrespect for him, that I even despised him, is that I learned that he was both professionally and on a personal level simply an idiot.

Viviane Fischer confirmed that neither Mr Hoffman, nor Antonia Fischer whom we had included in the corona investigative committee as substitutes for two scientists played any role in the work of the Corona Investigative Committee and were only interested in the donations.

We found it rather bizarre however, that Viviane Fischer seems to still be willing to cooperate with these people, despite the fact that these two and their dubious partner, through fraud and extortion, had gotten their hands on roughly 1.5 million euros of my and my client’s money.

Despite the fact that these people, with the help of the district attorney, are now trying to get their hands on all of the Corona Committee’s donations only to shut its work down.

Very strange. Despite the fact that the evidence is mounting that the district attorney is guilty of obstruction of justice, now this is a crime, not just a misdemeanor, I don’t believe that the court is under control of whoever is behind this proceeding, but we’ll see.

Viviane Fischer Confirmed Loans Secured Donations

Very helpful in fact, crucial for my case, is that this, and Fischer also confirmed that we took out the loans in order to secure some of the donations from the states attaching our bank account, but there was an imminent and rising risk of this happening and that of course we were both willing and able to repay the loans.

This means that DA’s case, is dead in the water. In fact, had we not done anything to protect the money from willful attachment by the state, we would have been guilty of a violation of our fiduciary duty to take care of the donations.

For the court and for those who are interested, we will file a detailed assessment of Viviane Fischer and Mr Huffman’s, at least partially bizarre testimony in court.

World First: Australian Senate Votes to Establish Inquiry into Excess Deaths

By Rebekah Barnett

The Australian Senate voted to establish a parliamentary inquiry into the nation’s excess deaths today, giving the green light to what is possibly the first inquiry of this nature in the world.

One year and five motions is what it took for Senator Ralph Babet, of the United Australia Party, to finally get the go-ahead on the inquiry.

Senator Babet tabled two unsuccessful motions calling for an inquiry into Australia’s excess mortality last March, followed by another unsuccessful motion in February of this year.

Several weeks later, his fourth motion calling for the Senate to acknowledge the need for an inquiry scraped through with a win, marking a shift in attitude within the Senate and paving the way for today’s vote to finally establish an inquiry.

“Fifth time’s the charm!” said Senator Babet in a statement after his motion passed successfully.”

“This appears to be a world-first inquiry for what is a global issue. May this committee process give a voice to the family members of the deceased and deliver the answers that our nation so desperately needs.”

The successful motion, co-sponsored by independent Senators Jacqui Lambie and David Pocock, calls for the Community Affairs References Committee to conduct an inquiry into factors contributing to excess mortality in 2021 – 2023 and to make recommendations on how to address them.

The vote was won 31 to 30 with only the left-wing Labour Party and the Greens opposing the motion (see full breakdown HERE).

The phenomenon of excess all-cause mortality is an issue for nations all around the world since the pandemic kicked off in 2020, yet governments have shown little interest or initiative in investigating why, or what to do about it.

Australia saw record-high excess mortality throughout the pandemic, peaking at 11.7% above the expected baseline in 2022. This number was initially touted to be as high as 15%, but the Australian Bureau of Statistics (“ABS”) revised its excess death numbers down with the adoption of new modelling in 2023.

Though 2023 saw fewer excess deaths, the ABS reports that the excess was “sustained” and “statistically significant” into the first half of 2023.

Figures released by the ABS just today show the majority of 2023 deaths sitting above the baseline range, although mortality did come within baseline range during weeks 31 – 43.

Cancer remains the leading cause of death in Australia, accounting for around a third of all deaths year on year, followed by dementia, respiratory disease, and heart disease. In 2022, covid was the sixth-leading cause of death, falling to eighth in 2023.

Naturally, some of the excess deaths seen in Australia and around the world are attributable to covid, but the virus cannot account for all of the excess mortality. In fact, the lax criteria for attribution of deaths to covid means that the impact of the virus on excess mortality is probably overestimated.

Initially, the ABS differentiated between deaths due to covid alone, and deaths with other causal factors, revealing that just 8.6% of deaths with covid were caused solely by the virus. Subsequently, this reporting method was done away with, and all deaths with a causal sequence of events (including with pre-existing chronic conditions) were swept into the ‘due to covid’ category, taking the accounting of deaths due to covid from 8% to approximately 80%.

Even so, an analysis of 2022 excess mortality by Australia’s peak actuarial body, the Actuaries Institute, pinned only half of Australia’s excess deaths on covid.

That leaves the rest of the excess mortality unexplained.

The actuaries suggest that other factors driving Australia’s excess deaths may include: mortality displacement, undiagnosed covid, mental health issues, and unhealthy pandemic-influenced lifestyle changes. Note that the latter two are documented knock-on effects of government pandemic policies.

An independent excess death probe led by the Australian Medical Professionals’ Society (“AMPS”) highlighted the impact of the covid vaccination program as another potential driver of excess mortality.

One particularly interesting report featured in the AMPS inquiry was an Australian study of all-cause mortality trends conducted on the pre-covid but post-vaccinated Queensland population. The analysis showed that deaths started trending upwards with the covid vaccine rollout, not covid.

While the Therapeutic Goods Administration (“TGA”) officially acknowledges only 14 deaths related to the covid vaccines, there were over 1,020 reported deaths and over 140,000 injuries recorded in the DAEN, Australia’s safety surveillance database, as at 12 March 2024.

As underreporting is a well-known feature of such safety surveillance systems, the true extent of harm from the covid vaccines is unknown.

The TGA admitted as much when, in September last year, the regulator refused to say how many of the adverse events reported to the DAEN it had determined to be causally linked to the covid vaccines, but let slip that the TGA assigns almost all reports a causality status of “possible,” neither confirming nor denying causality.

Other potential contributors to excess mortality may include harms arising from the pandemic response, including lockdowns, isolation, loss of employment, loss of autonomy and increased stress, all of which were raised in submissions to an inquiry into Terms of Reference for a Covid Royal Commission.

Australia’s inquiry into excess deaths will likely consider all this and more. The Committee is expected to provide its report by 31 August 2024.
