According to the report of Canadian researchers in the Proceeding of the National Academy of Sciences, it took approximately 2.1 years for cesium-134 and cesium-137 from the Fukushima disaster to navigate across the Pacific Ocean and bombard the West Coast. During that time, a spike in beached marine life began to infest California’s shores. Meanwhile, the mainstream media’s coverage of the disaster fell virtually silent, claiming radiation levels did not pose a threat to public health.

It is just devastating for me to know that the innocent oceanic life has been fucked up by so-called ‘humans’. And of course there would be silence about what that life would contain if fished out of the ocean and consumed by ‘humans’. We don’t care about each other and nothing else, so everything is fair ‘game’. We ‘trophy’ hunt animals, each other and pollute the oceans, the air and everything else and expect to live a long and healthy life. Indeed!

What really concerns me, Shelby, is that the government and mainstream media should be warning Americans on the West Coast not to eat this fish – which they aren’t. You’re right. The people who run our government don’t really give a damn about ordinary people. Thanks for your comment.

The map (which appears on WordPress reader, but not in the article) actually shows the modelled tsunami wave across the Pacific, not the spread of radioactivity. See the scale on the right, in centimetres.

Thanks for pointing this out, Joe. I don’t know how to view the post in WordPress reader, but I can see the image you refer to in my Facebook post. How misleading.
