Senate investigates how Microsoft channeled its profits through Puerto Rico, avoiding billions in taxes. What the GOP will do about it.

Tales from the Conspiratum

Fraud is fraud Mr. Gates. Just because this  tax scheme is “legal” does not make it right. Let’s all of us not pay for upgrades and software from Microsoft. Let’s all share the wealth!

Scoundrels.

A Senate investigation found Microsoft was avoiding a whopping $1.5 billion in taxes every year.

On paper, Microsoft’s facility in Puerto Rico was wildly profitable. With just 177 workers, the plant recorded $4 billion in earnings in 2011, a Senate investigation found.

The gimmick was entirely legal. According to the Senate’s report, the software company’s lawyers were channeling its profits from sales all over the country…

    • Very strange, futuret, for Republicans to want a carbon tax. I wonder how the Koch brothers feel about that – I assume they aren’t very happy.

      • futuret says:

THE KOCH BROTHERS ARE ACTUALLY A PART OF THIS, THIS IS A SCAM TO MAKE THE REST OF US POOR OR MORE POOR THAN WE ARE, EXCEPT THEMSELVES. IN REALITY THE REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS ARE IN BED TOGETHER, COMMITTING ADULTERY AGAINST US. THE KOCH BROTHERS ARE ALL FOR A DICTATORSHIP FOR THE MASSES, JUST NOT FOR THEMSELVES. I’LL BE DAMNED IF I SUPPORT ANYBODY OR ANYTHING.

  1. I have to check this one out. I know several people that work at Microsoft. This may be unfortunate for them, as they are “liberals”, and don’t get paid much by Microsoft.

From Startup to Billionaire status overnight by Microsoft, FB and Google had me thinking. How can an honest company suddenly and overnight become so powerful without support? Elite intervention. Data mining, spying and control of the population of the world. That’s it in a nutshell. I lost the link but had information that the CIA via a covert company, own in part if not a majority share in….GOOGLE. Duplicate that with Microsoft, Apple and and most internet based Startups. Another issue I have is with Virus/Malware et al software programs. We have these programs (Nortons/McCaffee) and run them from time to time. What they do is scan your entire hard drive. All your information is recorded that is stored there. It is in the ether for all with the smarts to take. Uh oh. I don’t use these programs. I enter every Malware into IE which stops malware dead. I no longer have malware…EVER! Long winded but factual. I am a computer engineer. Cheers https://amaezed.wordpress.com

    • I was just asking about this with another website owner here. Thanks for the information! How do you suggest you protect your information? Or what browser to use?

    • Thanks for the information, amaezed. I also recall reading about the CIA paying Google and Facebook to collect personal data on their users. Also something about them paying Microsoft to insert “backdoors” on their software to spy on users computers.

      • Guessed that, weird stuff happens when you are battling a government, but I know I am preachin to the choir. What browser? Mozilla? Anyone can answer me through my site if that is safer. Thanks.
