Donald Trump is charged with 34 offenses related to the US$130,000 he paid to porn actress Stormy Daniel.

On Thursday, Acting New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan announced that former President Donald Trump will stand trial for alleged irregular payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels starting on March 25.

The trial, which will commence with jury selection, could last around six weeks. Merchan has been in consultations with Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is to preside over the case of alleged election interference against Trump in Washington D.C., to coordinate the scheduling of both trials and avoid potential date conflicts.

However, the Washington case, initially slated for March, is on hold pending a decision on the appeal filed by Trump’s legal team to dismiss the case on the grounds that it constitutes interference in the electoral campaign in which Trump is a clear favorite.

Dressed in his traditional blue suit and red tie, Trump addressed the press from a balcony before entering the courtroom, stating that Judge Merchan “already knows what he’s going to decide” because he is “controlled by the Democrats”.

“What’s happening here is a disgrace. Our entire system is corrupt,” Trump said, adding that he wanted to be present on Thursday to explain how “corrupt” the case is.

Trump is charged with 34 offenses related to the US$130,000 he paid to Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign to conceal an affair they had ten years earlier. This payment that was concealed with the collaboration of his lawyer, Michael Cohen.

On Friday, Trump also faces a complicated legal calendar given that another New York judge is expected to issue his final judgment in a civil case against the Trump Organization, which could result in a ban on operating in the real estate sector in New York state.

He will then face federal charges in Florida for mishandling classified documents after leaving the presidency, plus another case in Georgia for his attempts to overturn electoral results.

After announcing his decision on the date, Merchan engaged in a debate with Trump’s defense, which sought to delay the start of the trial citing the intense schedule of Republican primaries, while the president scanned the room with a serious expression.

The lawyers also tried to discredit the main witness in the case, Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen, but the prosecution maintained that they will have the opportunity to question Cohen as part of the process, as is customary.

Judge Merchan noted that he has already heard all these arguments on previous occasions and that the defense had nothing new to add.

Once the matter was settled, the prosecution’s lawyers (the state of New York ) and Trump’s lawyers sought to convince the judge to modify some of the questions that will be asked to potential jury members to determine their participation.

Some of the questions seemed to be aimed at identifying the political affiliation of potential jury members, something Merchan deemed unreasonable, although he clarified that he will address these issues later on.

The Curse of Ultra-Pasteurization

Ways to process and store massive amounts of milk produced by factory farms robs it of it’s natural nutrients—but today, unprocessed milk is making a comeback

Listeria most commonly occurs in deli meats, seafood, raw vegetables, soft cheeses, and poultry. But the 1983 outbreak was different. It came from pasteurized milk. Health officials isolated listeria from the raw milk that came into the pasteurizing plant. “At the plant where the milk was processed, inspections revealed no evidence of improper pasteurization.” The officials were perplexed but noted that “L monocytogenes is quite resistant to heat. … The ability of L monocytogenes to exist as an intracellular parasite may have increased likelihood that some organisms survived pasteurization …”

They came to an interesting conclusion, “These results … raise questions about the ability of pasteurization to eradicate a large inoculum of L. monocytogenes from contaminated raw milk.”

A year later, a huge outbreak of Salmonella typhimurium occurred in Illinois, with a second wave in 1985. The pathogen was found resistant to most common forms of antibiotics. “Two surveys to determine the number of persons who were actually affected yielded estimates of 168,791 and 197,581 persons, making this the largest outbreak of salmonellosis ever identified in the United States.” At least five people died. The outbreak affected people in six states—Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana. Health officials concluded that the milk was contaminated after pasteurization by salmonella, which persisted in the plant despite efforts to eradicate it.

The Arrival of Factory Farming

Something else was going on during those years—dairy farms were getting bigger. Consolidation began in the 1930s with pigs and in the 1950s with chickens. In the 1970s, agriculture secretary Earl Butz told farmers to “get big or get out,” and by the mid-1980s, this trend was in full force. “Get big or get out,” also meant, “Get inside.” The U.S. Department of Agriculture was advising dairy farmers to “become more efficient” by keeping their cows in barns and feeding them grain.

Large amounts of grain are not a natural diet for cows, nor is it natural for cows to live in close quarters with no way of distancing themselves from their fresh manure. To keep the cows alive in such conditions of filth, antibiotics became necessary. It was a recipe for antibiotic resistance and stronger, mutated pathogens.

With the outbreaks of the mid-1980s, the dairy industry realized that under these new conditions, pasteurization was not working. Unfortunately, their solution to the problem was not to go cleaner, but to go hotter. Enter UHT—ultra-high temperature processing.

Old-fashioned, “low-temperature” pasteurization takes milk to 150 F—hot enough to destroy most of the enzymes in milk, many of which protect against pathogens, while others attach to vitamins and minerals in order to make them easy to absorb. High-temperature pasteurization (also called flash pasteurization) takes milk to 161 F, hot enough to kill all the enzymes and denature some of the proteins.

Ultrapasteurization takes milk to 284 F—hotter, much hotter, than the boiling point—by rushing this most fragile, delicate food past superheated stainless steel plates. The process kills bacterial endospores—tough, dormant structures produced by many pathogens, which allows them to “hibernate” and come back to life when conditions are sufficiently favorable (such as the small intestine). The process also kills everything else, including nutrients, enzymes, and proteins.

UHT milk comes packaged in aseptic, sterile containers—it needs no refrigeration and has a shelf life of six to nine months—a boon to retailers. The process was developed in Europe—I remember seeing stacks of these aseptic containers in supermarkets in France when I lived there in the early 1980s and wondering why anyone would buy milk that didn’t spoil.

In the early 1990s, the Italian company Parmalat introduced its UHT milk to the United States. American consumers resisted purchasing unrefrigerated milk, so the industry packaged it in traditional containers and sold it from the refrigerator aisle.

According to Parmalat’s website, “UHT milk is the same as fresh milk but simply uses a different pasteurization process. It contains a lot of nutrients that are good for your body, just like fresh milk.” It adds, “With our special pasteurization process, our milk doesn’t need to be stored in the fridge until opened. This means you can store as many bottles as you want and never run out of milk.”
A 2019 study from China titled “Processing milk causes the formation of protein oxidation products which impair spatial learning and memory in rats,” indicates that UHT milk is not like fresh milk at all. The researchers subjected milk to four processing techniques: boiling, microwave heating, spray drying, and freeze-drying. (Boiling takes milk to 212 F—ultra-pasteurization is much hotter.)

All four techniques (even freeze-drying) caused “various degrees of redox state imbalance and oxidative damage in plasma, liver, and brain tissues.” Feeding damaged milk proteins to rats resulted in learning and memory impairment—why would any parent want to give UHT milk to their kids?

The researchers concluded that “… humans should control milk protein oxidation and improve the processing methods applied to food.”

Rsearchers have noted that “The major protein modifications that occur during UHT treatment are denaturation and aggregation of the protein, and chemical modifications of its amino acids.” Damaged milk proteins are likely to cause allergies. Today, milk allergy is the number one allergy and according to statistics provided by the Asthma and Allergy Network, we can estimate that modern milk causes approximately twenty deaths from anaphylactic shock per year!

Most milk sold today in supermarkets is UHT milk—even organic milk is UHT. But it is not used in fermented products—check the labels for sour cream or cheese.  These products are made from pasteurized—not UHT milk—most likely because UHT milk is so dead that it will not ferment. That’s another way of saying that UHT milk is indigestible, as fermentation is a form of digestion.

A recent listeria outbreak causing two deaths and more than twenty hospitalizations initiated a Feb. 5 recall of pasteurized cheese, yogurt, and sour cream—an indication that pasteurization doesn’t ensure safety in fermented dairy foods.

UHT milk has served as a temporary fix for the dairy industry, but it will ultimately be its undoing. Milk consumption in the United States has declined by half since 1970, and the dairy industry has been unable to reverse the trend. It blames competition from sodas and plant-based “milk,” but won’t admit that UHT processing makes milk unpalatable, allergenic, and indigestible.

How to Find Good Old-Fashioned, Unprocessed Milk

The public is wising up to the problems of consuming ultra-processed food, and UHT milk is by any definition an ultra-processed food. This may be why sales of raw milk are booming. The website realmilk.com receives more than 320,000 visits per month, mostly to the Raw Milk Finder page. The site lists 3000 sources of raw milk in the United States and there are many more dairies that choose not to be listed—yet raw milk farmers are reporting that they can’t produce enough to meet the demand. Raw Farm in California provides raw milk products from a herd of 1,200 cows, and they sell it all.

CDC head Mandy Cohen says mask mandates could return for toddlers despite CDC scientists’ finding that masks don’t work

TARGETING TODDLERS: CDC head Mandy Cohen says mask mandates could return for toddlers despite CDC scientists’ finding that masks don’t work Pandemic

Dr Eddy Betterman

Last fall, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) head Mandy Cohen was asked by Congress whether or not she plans to bring back mask mandates for toddlers. Rather than answer the question, Cohen beat around the bush and vaguely suggested she might try.

“We have a lot of different tools to protect our children,” Cohen ominously stated.

Just six days later, a British Medical Journal (BMJ) journal published a study stating unequivocally that “mask recommendations for children are not supported by scientific evidence.”

In other words, should Cohen decide to attempt another round of forced masking in America at some point in the future, she will be openly and flagrantly defying the latest science on the matter, which comes from one of the most reputable science journals in the world.

“Because benefits of masking for COVID-19 have not been identified, it should be recognized that mask recommendations for children are not supported by scientific evidence,” the study explains.

CDC fights with its own scientists about masks

CDC top dogs like Cohen are notorious for fighting with their own scientists about the issue of mask mandates. Just last week, in fact, she waged war on CDC researchers for daring to declare that N95 respirators worked better than surgical masks at blocking “droplets” and other potential infectors.

This is an important matter because, as of late, the pro-mask crowd, embarrassed by the collapse of their narrative, has shifted to claiming that N95 respirators must be mandated during the next staged “pandemic” because the devices supposedly work better than surgical masks at stopping COVID.

The CDC’s own science contradicts this, but because many people simply listen to the “news” rather than do their own due diligence on the matter, it will probably be the case that N95s get pushed as the next “solution” for disease.

“During a presentation last summer, a CDC expert stated there was no difference between N95 respirators and masks in stopping viruses,” Disinformation Chronicle explains.

“These findings have been supported by CDC scientists in a study CDC published on the agency’s website last November – just a few weeks before Director Cohen testified before Congress.”

The CDC also published a study early on in the “pandemic” in May 2020 – and in the agency’s own official journal Emerging Infectious Diseases, no less – revealing that agency scientists were unable to find a “substantial effect” for masks in stopping the transmission of respiratory so-called “viruses.”

This study did not stop CDC heads from forging on in pushing people to mask up for their own “protection,” though. In fact, the CDC launched a propaganda campaign on its website urging the public to wear N95 respirators rather than surgical masks to keep themselves “safe” from the “virus.”

In a tiny disclaimer on its website, the CDC did admit that there is no actual science to back this recommendation. This was further admitted in a 2019 CDC study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) stating that “no significant difference” was identified between respirators and those infamous blue masks at “stopping the spread.”

“They just look like fools, at this point,” noted one Disinformation Chronicle reader about the CDC. “I guess they are banking on the majority of people not paying attention.”

1793: The French Revolution Faces Counterrevolution

Episode 25: Counterrevolution and the Vendee

Living the French Revolution and Age of Napoleon

Dr Suzanne M Desan

Film Review

In spring of 1793, tens of thousands of rural peasants, weavers and artisan made war on the French revolution, financed by émigré groups trying to prepare the greater population for foreign invasion. Initially counterrevolutionary sentiment was limited to Catholics protesting the religious reforms. Over time, they were joined by low income poor workers who previously manufactured religious icons and luxury goods.

Heavy taxes the Convention imposed to support the war effort also strengthened counterrevolutionary feeling. as did orders requisitioning grain, horses, carts and church bells (to be melted down for guns and ammunition). The last straw in western France was forced recruitment of all unmarried men between 18 and 40.

The Vendée Rebellion in March 1793 would be the first full scale counterrevolutionary insurrection. On the first day of the uprising, a mob killed the military recruitment officer before binding 500 local revolutionaries in chains and shooting them. Eventually a small cluster of uprisings spread into a mass movement reminiscent of centuries of peasant rebellions against local nobles and tax collectors.* A few members of the nobility joined the Rebellion, eventually forming an army of 40,000. They stole weapons and identified themselves by pinning a white cockade (symbol of the royal Bourbon family) on their hats.

It was during this period, the Republican army began losing to the Austrians in Belgium and the Netherlands, so they didn’t have enough troops to defend the Vendée. The latter, with its rolling hills, thick hedgerows, dense forests and narrow roads, was ideal for guerilla warfare. After three days of skirmishes, 5,000 (out of 12,000) newly recruited national guards were killed in a surprise attack.

By August. the British were planning to invade western France to join up with the Vendée counterrevolutionarie The same month, the national guard slaughtered tens of thousand of Vendée men, women and children

*The French referred to peasant rebellions as Jacqueries. They tended to be extremely violent and were often successful in winning short term demands

Australian Parliament Votes in Favor of Bring Assange Home

By John Jiggens

In a historic vote, parliamentarians have shown unprecedented support for the return home of imprisoned journalist Julian Assange. Dr John Jiggens reports.

WEDNESDAY 14 FEBRUARY turned out to be an unanticipated Happy Valentine’s Day for Julian Assange supporters. The Australian House of Representatives passed a motion introduced by Tasmanian Independent Andrew Wilkie, on behalf of the Parliamentary Friends of Julian Assange, urging the U.S. and the UK to bring their prosecution of the WikiLeaks founder to a close and allow him to return to his family and home in Australia.

The vote was 86 for Yes (ALP, Greens and Independents) and 42 for No (mostly Liberal and National).

In an unprecedented show of parliamentary support for Assange, two-thirds of the lower house voted for the motion. It was not unanimous because Coalition members overwhelmingly chose to support the U.S. and UK in what the former UN Rapporteur on Torture, Nils Melzer, described as the torture of an Australian journalist.

Greens leader Adam Bandt appealed to the Coalition to support the motion. Assange has become symbolic of journalists around the world who face attacks on press freedom, he argued, ranging from political prosecutions through to murder.

Assange’s prosecution set a chilling precedent for journalists about their ability to hold governments to account and to tell the truth without facing imprisonment and without facing a risk to their own lives.

Bandt said:

“If governments think that participation in the AUKUS agreement and alliance is so critical, surely part of that should be the insistence on human rights and the proper treatment of our citizens — of Australian citizens. If we are sitting around a table with these governments, we should be able to insist that Julian Assange is brought home.”

His appeal fell on deaf ears — it remained AUKUS regardless of any cost.

For Assange, the situation is still perilous. He remains incarcerated in HM Prison Belmarsh in the UK, where he has spent the last five years, locked down for 23 hours each day in a three-metre by two-metre cell, unconvicted of any charges, an innocent man in a living hell, like Dylan’s Hurricane. Like Nelson Mandela, he walks his long walk to freedom around that tiny cell every day.

In one week, the UK High Court will decide whether he has exhausted all his legal appeals to prevent being extradited to the USA where he would face charges that could see him imprisoned for 175 years under their notorious 1917 Espionage Act for publishing material, which revealed shocking evidence of misconduct by U.S. forces.

As Senator David Shoebridge tweeted on the day of the vote:

‘There are real concerns that if Julian loses next week he will be immediately extradited.’

In this epic David versus Goliath mismatch, one lone Australian journalist pitted against the world’s greatest empire, it was rare good news. Members and supporters of the Parliamentary Friends of Julian Assange tweeted happily.

Andrew Wilkie, Convenor of the Parliamentary Friends of Assange:

‘I successfully moved a motion to recognise the importance of bringing Julian Assange’s extradition to an end. The Govt voted for it in an unprecedented show of political support for Julian. The US must heed these calls & drop the extradition. #FreeAssangeNOW #auspol #politas.’

Adam Bandt, Leader of the Greens:

‘Today – for the first time – the House voted to call on the UK & the USA to bring Julian Assange home. His family, the people and this Parliament want him home.
PM — it’s time we make this a reality.’

Dr Monique Ryan, Independent member, Kooyong:

‘A powerful moment. Today the Government and crossbench called on the United States and the United Kingdom to stop prosecuting Julian Assange so he can come home. This is the ultimate test of our nations’ friendship and I sincerely hope it is heard.’

David Shoebridge, Greens Senator:

‘Today the House of Representatives has voted in favour of a motion from my Parliamentary Friends of Assange colleague @WilkieMP on the need to bring Julian home. This is a genuinely historic moment and a testament to the work of so many for so many years. 86-42 vote.’

Epstein Victims File Lawsuit Against the US Government, Claim FBI Enabled His Sex Trafficking

Cassandra MacDonald

A dozen victims of dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein have filed a lawsuit against the US government, alleging that the FBI enabled his sex trafficking operation to continue for over two decades.

The victims, whose names are not public, allege the FBI had received tips about Epstein’s behavior as far back as 1996 but did nothing with the information.

The Hill reports, “A probe finally began in 2006, the suit says, but ended once Epstein pleaded guilty to a soliciting prostitution charge in Florida and was sentenced to 18 months in prison. The suit claims the FBI continued to ignore tips until Epstein was arrested on sex trafficking charges in 2019. He killed himself in prison months later.”

“As a direct and proximate cause of the FBI’s negligence, plaintiffs would not have been continued to be sex trafficked, abused, raped, tortured and threatened,” the complaint states, according to the report. “Jane Does 1-12 bring this lawsuit to get to the bottom — once and for all — of the FBI’s role in Epstein’s criminal sex trafficking ring.”

The lawsuit additionally claims the FBI had evidence of his continued crimes but refused to investigate further.

“During the FBI investigation, the FBI was complicit in permitting Epstein and co-conspirators to continue to victimize Jane Does 1-12 and other young women,” the lawsuit alleges. “The FBI had photographs, videos and interviews and hard evidence of child prostitution and failed to timely investigate and arrest Epstein in deviation from the FBI protocols.”

“The FBI had a non-discretionary obligation, governed by established policies, procedures, rules, and protocols, to handle and investigate tips concerning potential and ongoing underage child erotica, rape, sex with minors, and sex trafficking in a reasonable manner and to act against Epstein and to prevent him from committing repeated crimes,” the complaint continued.

“Yet, contrary to its own established rules, the FBI failed to take appropriate action and botched and covered up investigations for years.”

The lawsuit is seeking damages from the government.

Epstein was found dead in his prison cell in New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center on August 10, 2019.

Though his death was ruled a suicide by hanging, many have questioned that determination due to the influential figures that he could have potentially implicated. Among his alleged friends and guests at his infamous “Lolita Island” were Prince Andrew and former President Bill Clinton.

Egypt builds ‘buffer zone’ in Sinai as 1.4 million Gazans face displacement

The Cradle

The Egyptian government has started building an “isolated security zone” in the eastern Sinai Desert on the border with the Gaza Strip that would serve as a buffer zone for Palestinian refugees if they are forced out of Rafah by the Israeli army, according to the Sinai Foundation for Human Rights.

Local contractors told the rights group that the construction work was commissioned by the Sons of Sinai Construction and Building Company, owned by businessman Ibrahim al-Arjani, a former warlord from the Tarabin tribe in northern Sinai who holds close ties with the family of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The construction work aims to “create an area surrounded by walls seven meters high, after removing the rubble of indigenous homes that had been destroyed.” The construction is expected to be completed in under 10 days and is supervised by the Egyptian Armed Forces Engineering Authority, with a heavy security presence.

“This morning, the Foundation’s team … monitored the construction of a seven-meter-high cement wall, starting from a point in the village of Goz Abu Waad, south of the city of Rafah, and heading north toward the Mediterranean Sea, parallel to the border with the Gaza Strip,” the Sinai Foundation said on 14 February.

“The construction work seen in Sinai along the border with Gaza – the establishment of a reinforced security perimeter around a specific, open area of land – are serious signs that Egypt may be preparing to accept and allow the displacement of Gazans to Sinai, in coordination with Israel and the United States,” Muhannad Sabry, a researcher in Sinai affairs and security in Egypt, told the Sinai Foundation.

Earlier this month, Egyptian journalist Ahmed el-Madhoun shared a video showing workers strengthening the security wall separating Egypt and Gaza. Since the outbreak of the war on 7 October, Cairo has constructed a concrete border topped with barbed wire and extending six meters into the ground.

Cairo recently boosted its military presence on the Gaza border, citing fears of a spillover of Israel’s ethnic cleansing campaign onto its territory once the ground invasion of Rafah begins. Western media has also quoted Egyptian officials as saying that the government considered suspending the 1978 Camp David Accords if Palestinians were forcibly displaced into the Sinai Desert.

Nevertheless, Israel’s Army Radio reported over the weekend that Cairo informed Tel Aviv that they will not object to a military operation in Rafah as long as it is conducted without harming Palestinian civilians. Other Israeli outlets, as well as the New York Times, have reported Egyptian officials expressing fears that any influx of Palestinians could lead to a resurgence of “Islamist militancy.”

Israeli officials have repeatedly made clear their desire not only to defeat Hamas but also to force Gaza’s 2.3 million citizens to flee to Egypt or other countries as refugees. Those statements coincided with explicit plans to annex Gaza and build settlements for Israeli Jews over destroyed Palestinian homes.

Israeli settler groups and Knesset members recently held a conference to discuss building Jewish settlements in Gaza once its indigenous inhabitants have been ethnically cleansed.

The Microplastic Invasion: 12 Ways to Minimize Your Exposure

By Melissa Smith

  • Microplastic contamination is a monumental environmental and health issue with serious consequences.
  • Micro and nanoplastics have found their way into just about every nook and cranny on land, sea, air, human and animal bodies. It’s in our food and the water we drink, particularly bottled water.
  • It’s now being implicated in a wide range of human disease processes from cancer to heart disease and neurological conditions.
  • There’s little we can do to avoid it, but plenty we can do to minimize our exposure.

Plastic. It’s ubiquitous. From mountain tops to ocean depths, it’s a part of our everyday lives. Plastic pollution is so widespread now that scientists are dubbing this period in history the “Plasticene Age.”

One of the most versatile, well used and persistent substances that exist on earth, it generally isn’t biodegradable. As it breaks down in the environment it gets smaller and smaller until it infiltrates just about everything in the form of micro- and nano-sized particles.

They’re everywhere. In the air, water, seas, human bodies, dust, food, plants and animals. Finally, the subject of microplastics is hitting the headlines as awareness of the problem escalates.

Even water is packaged in plastic bottles. With billions of bottles of water produced and sold globally every year for people who can afford it, try and escape chlorine-, hormone- and too often, fluoride-laden tap water.

Globally consumption of bottled water is expected to reach 515 billion liters a year by 2027. But, is bottled water as safe as we think it is? A 2018 study found microplastics in 93% of the bottled water tested.

Researchers recently reported the presence of around 240,000 tiny pieces of microplastics in a 1-liter bottle of water. This is 10 to 100 times more than previous studies, which focused on larger particles of plastic.

Particles of seven of the most commonly used plastics were found along with millions of other particles of unknown origin.

The silent invasion

Microplastics can now be found in just about every nook and cranny on Earth, yet they’re virtually invisible to the naked eye.

They’re tiny pieces of plastic, less than five millimeters in length, that originate from a wide range of sources. Particles smaller than 1μm (micron/micrometer) are classified as nanoplastics.

Despite their pervasiveness, not much is known about microplastics and their impacts on our health and the health of the environment as yet.

Microplastic is categorized as either primary or secondary microplastic:

  • Primary microplastics come from items deliberately manufactured to be small, such as clothing microfibres, microbeads and plastic pellets (known as nurdles) along with microplastics released while washing synthetic clothing.
  • Secondary microplastics come from discarded plastic waste such as bags, bottles and packaging, which is said, can take up to 450 years to degrade — although not sure anyone has been able to corroborate the timing!

Every day we’re exposed to microplastics through the air we breathe, what we eat, drink, inhale and even touch.

Microplastic particles can be small enough to cross biological barriers such as the gut, skin, placenta and airways.

Bottle-fed babies are at high risk of exposure to microplastics from baby bottles, but they’ve also been found in breast milk. And, let’s not forget older children who often drink from plastic bottles and pouches.

Millions of tons of plastic waste end up in our oceans every year, where it’s broken down by the action of the waves and sunlight into nanoplastics, which accumulate in marine food chains and habitats such as coral reefs.

Not only are microplastics a major environmental concern, but there’s also growing concern over their impact on human health.

How harmful are microplastics?

How harmful are they?

Little is known about the effects of microplastics on human health currently, leading to an explosion in research into the issue.

However, despite such limited knowledge, these tiny plastics, which are found in virtually all brands of bottled water, public drinking water supplies (although lower than bottled water), as well as most of the food we eat due to the use of biosludge from water treatment plants and plastic coatings on agricultural chemicals, have already been linked to a myriad of chronic health conditions including:

Increasing evidence suggests that the toxicity of the endocrine-disrupting chemicals that microplastics are made from — e.g. BPA, phthalates and other toxic substances, that they absorb from the environment and concentrate — are enhanced by the size, shape and surface charge of the particles, as well as their abundance.

One study found that toxicity increased by a factor of 10. Such toxins may then be released into the human body, greatly increasing the risk of harm to health.

Microplastics are also providing new and distinct niches for microbial colonies to develop, some of which may be antibiotic resistant.

Microplastics have now been found in our blood, showing they can travel around the body, potentially ending up lodged in our organs.

They can even cross the blood-brain barrier through a process known as transcytosis, where particles can move through lipid (fat) layers like we have in our cell membranes, without being engulfed and destroyed by the cell they’re crossing.

Once in the brain, they’ve been shown in mice to cause cognitive changes similar to those seen in dementia patients.

So great is the problem, it’s been estimated that microplastic contamination cost the U.S. healthcare system nearly $250 billion in 2018.

Reducing our exposure

As the scale of the problem becomes apparent and plastic waste continues to accumulate unabated, scientists are scrabbling to find solutions that range from using magnets to pull microplastics attached to an adsorbent from water, to enzymatic recycling, using genetically modified enzymes to break down plastic into ever smaller molecules that can then be used to create new plastic.

However, research is in its infancy and such techniques have only been used under laboratory conditions to date.

The good news is as awareness of the problem grows so do the number of innovative solutions. One such solution is the Hoola One beach vacuum, which removes microplastic particles up to 0.05 millimeters in size.

Avoiding microplastics completely is probably impossible in the modern world considering their use is so widespread.

Ultimately, we’re not likely to be able to avoid it, so there’s little point worrying about every piece of plastic that we encounter, but we can take steps to reduce our exposure.

  • Think about your plastic usage and how you might be able to reduce it e.g. not using throw-away plastic items such as cutlery and straws.
  • Substitute single-use takeaway cups and bottles for your own stainless steel, bamboo or glass reusable cups and bottles.
  • Recycle plastic rubbish where possible and bin waste when you’re out.
  • Buy food packaged in glass or try out your local Fill Up shop where you can use your own containers over and over again.
  • Buy a good water filter to remove the microplastics. Reverse osmosis systems are our preferred option as they remove most of the particles, but also the vast majority of chlorine, hormones and fluoride.
  • Don’t heat food or liquid in plastic containers, particularly in microwaves, due to the number of particles released into your food.
  • When buying clothes, try to buy natural fabrics as opposed to synthetic fabrics, which shed plastic microfibres. Natural fibres can be more expensive so why not check out your local charity shop and do a bit of recycling at the same time?
  • Use a washing bag to reduce microplastic pollution when washing synthetic fabrics.
  • Air dry clothes rather than using a tumble dryer, which increases the production of microfibers.
  • Dust and vacuum (use a vacuum with a HEPA filter) regularly to reduce the accumulation of microplastics found in households.
  • Buy plastic-free cosmetics and personal care products. Check the labels for products containing plastic microbeads.
  • Ditch teabags and use organic, fairly traded loose-leaf with an infuser or old-fashioned teapot. Yep, you heard that right. Many tea bags contain plastic, which when heated can release billions of microplastics into your tea. Even so-called biodegradable tea bags, you know, the posh silky ones, are made from a type of genetically modified organism plastic and they’re not silk at all!

Excess deaths among patients in elderly care homes skyrocketed following COVID-19 vaccine rollout

Excess deaths among patients in elderly care homes skyrocketed following COVID-19 vaccine rollout

Dr Eddy Betterman

A registered nurse with 35 years of experience working at large geriatric practices says that excess deaths among older people in the various elderly care homes where she works died at a rate 300 percent higher than normal after Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) “vaccines” were introduced.

Deanna Kline, RN, has been taking copious notes about the death trends she has been observing, which she writes about in her book “‘Vaccine’ Injuries, Lies, and Deaths: The Alarming Facts About the COVID Vaccine and Helpful Resources for Healing.”

Kline has seen thousands of patients over the years. According to her, deaths at geriatric facilities ranged from about eight to 10 and says in an average year. After Operation Warp Speed, these figures jumped to 36 deaths in 2022 and 48 deaths in 2023.

As explained by investigator Steve Kirsch, the chance of the 2022 number happening randomly is 1.7e-10. For 2023, the chance is 4.5e-18. These seemingly random numbers might not mean much to the average reader, but suffice it to say that the spike in deaths post-COVID injection release is not a coincidence.

“This kind of an increase is caused by something,” he writes.

(Related: A recent study found that covid injections have caused at least 17 million deaths worldwide.)

Death by booster

Kline is choosing to be discreet about the name of the facility where the aforementioned death numbers occurred. She did say that all of the death cases occurred in people who had been vaccinated.

A social media account called “Old Kiwi” reported similar statistics out of Orewa, a village located to the north of Auckland, New Zealand. A geriatric facility there called Ryman retirement village used to issue a monthly newsletter with an RIP (Rest in Peace) notice that averaged about 2-3 deaths per month in the six years before Operation Warp Speed.

“Maximum we could remember seeing was 5, maybe 6 in any one month, but that number was rare,” Old Kiwi reported.

At the start of August 2022, the RIP newsletter contained a whopping 20 names listed as deaths that occurred in the month of July – this was the very same month that Pfizer gave residents their first booster shot as an in-house operation.

“The email newsletter was discontinued shortly thereafter,” Old Kiwi added. “We believe the current policy is residents need to go to their doctor should they require further Covid vaccination. Ramification to the July 2022 horror show. Silence.”

Obituaries also increased in prevalence after the release of COVID injections. The same 300 percent increase figure was reported by someone who says she keeps track of obituaries in several newspapers.

“In 2021, obituaries in the paper had TRIPLED from 2020, and are still up at that rate!” this person reported.

Conversely, there is not a single “success” case in which all-cause mortality dropped after COVID jabs were introduced – why is that? The answer is that COVID jabs do not prevent death, but rather cause it.

“The vaccine manufacturers knew how toxic vaccines were years ago,” wrote a commenter at Kirsch’s Substack about the situation. “Their true test results were swept under the rug.”

“I was thinking about all the naïve trusting people who think their doctors are infallible. One of my brothers was in this category. His doctor was ‘brilliant’ and told him ‘vaccines were safe.’ He took 5 boosters … and I haven’t heard from him for quite awhile. He told me to stop sending him any more info. I had sent him a great deal of information on why he shouldn’t take the CV-19 vax. There are many others who think exactly the same way. In my opinion, these are people who have received too many vaccines over the years.”

Microsoft CEO hints upcoming AI “misinformation” censorship tools might DISABLE your Windows PC for questioning establishment election narratives

Ethan Huff
To ensure the 2024 election goes smoothly for the globalists, Microsoft is unleashing artificial intelligence (AI) to stop the spread of “misinformation” that threatens to allow an unapproved candidate to win.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella revealed to NBC‘s Lester Holt on NBC Nightly News’ January 30 edition that his company hopes to use the latest advancements in AI technology to fight “disinformation” that he fears could result in another Donald Trump win.

“This is not the first election where we dealt with disinformation or propaganda campaigns by adversaries and election interference,” Nadella explained to Holt.

“We’re doing all the work across the tech industry around watermarking, detecting deep fakes and content IDs. There is going to be enough and more technology quite frankly in order to be able to identify the issues around disinformation and misinformation.”

Rigging elections with AI

In the future, Microsoft’s AI endeavors could make it possible to shut down people’s personal computers (PCs), should they be caught accessing or spreading information that Nadella feels is a threat to democracy.

Nadella says he is encouraged by the fact that Big Tech corporations like Microsoft are increasingly partnering with law enforcement to crack down on information that threatens the establishment, but he feels a whole lot more needs to be done to keep a lid on the spread of unapproved information.

“It is about global, societal convergence on certain norms,” Nadella told Holt.

“Especially when you have law and law enforcement and tech platforms that can come together, I think we can govern a lot more than we give ourselves credit for,” he added about his vision of expanding tech industry control over what people say and do online.

It is a matter of life or death for Nadella and his ilk to control the narrative at all times, otherwise their power, wealth and influence will wane.

“We have to act,” Nadella urged. “And quite frankly all of us in the tech platform, irrespective of what your standing on any particular issue is, I think we all benefit when the online world is a safe world.”

One of the biggest challenges for Nadella is the fact that not everyone agrees with his authoritarian vision for controlling speech on the internet. If only more people would side with his views, he says, then perhaps the world will one day be controlled by Microsoft, a prospect that Nadella finds thrilling.

“Then the question, again, comes back to: How do we build consensus between parties, candidates and the norms around what is acceptable or not acceptable?” he asked hypothetically.

Nadella does not feel as though his AI plans are a danger to the world. Instead, he finds generative AI to simply be a tool that will help he and his acolytes to achieve their envisioned endgame for the world.

Holt’s interview with Nadella also included a bit about Taylor Swift and the growing trend of “deepfakes” in which a person’s likeness can be used to create fake video and audio. Nadella is scared of deepfakes, calling the recent Swift saga involving sexually explicit deepfakes “alarming and terrible.”

Concerning the upcoming election, Nadella clarified to Holt that there is nothing to worry about since “elaborate measures” are already “in place to protect the election from these issues.” Microsoft also already has enough technology in its arsenal to prevent “disinformation” and “misinformation” from influencing Americans to elect an unapproved candidate.
