Russian President Putin declared peace is next to impossible with Ukrainian President Zelenskiy in power. He questioned yesterday how Russia could negotiate with an illegitimate government that is not legally elected.
Putin suggested in the speech that the United Nations could be brought in to govern Ukraine, as there is precedence for this action.
Zelenskiy recently said Putin will die soon as negotiations are ongoing with Washington and Ukraine. These are not the actions of a Ukrainian leader who wants peace.
The EU and Zelenskiy, as well as elements within the U.S. government, are working to sabotage any effort by the Trump administration to secure a peace deal in Eastern Europe.

I don’t blame President Putin for his stance since Zelensky is a mere puppet of America/NATO and his presidency is illegitimate since he was not elected and has banned democratic elections citing the war. The “war” hasn’t stopped him from jet setting all over the place. And Trump said it himself, the fact that Zelensky needs to go. And Zelensky has stated that Putin will soon be dead, but he’d better look to his own skin since both Trump and Putin have basically said the same thing in that peace cannot be achieved as long as Zelensky is around.

Although I sometimes have major issues with the UN, Shelby, I basically agree with Putin’s proposal to have them supervise elections for now. I can’t see any better option at the moment.
