European nations are refusing calls from Kyiv to send back drafting-age males.

European nations are rejecting calls from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy to repatriate fighting-age male refugees to their homeland to assist on the frontline.

Zelensky appealed to several EU countries to deport men of military age back to bolster military numbers both prior to and during Ukraine’s counter-offensive push into Russia this month.

The request was unanimously rejected by EU member states.

Ukrainian news site New Voice specifically referenced opposition from Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic because these countries have a shortage of workers. In Poland and the Czech Republic, for example, Ukrainians make up 30 percent of the workforce in the construction and transport sectors, and they would be reluctant to give up this labor.

“Frankly speaking, many Czech companies depend on the skills and hard work of Ukrainian refugees. The construction industry, for example, would come to a complete halt without Ukrainian workers,” said Tomasz Prouza, the head of a hospitality lobbying group in Czechia, to Bloomberg.

According to the UN Refugee Agency, there are currently more than 6 million Ukrainian refugees abroad, and it is likely that another 400,000 will leave the country in 2024 due to the persistent Russian attacks on infrastructure across the country.

  1. LOL! Zelensky may have no problem getting the warmongers in Washington to send him weapons of war, but Zelensky needs troops to “man” those weapons of war, and so how is America going to help him with that? The U.S. military is experiencing troop shortages. The U.S. and Zelensky better tie this thing up because if Vladimir Putin allows me to move to Russia, I’d take up arms in defense of Russia while pushing a walker. I’m sure there would be some type of war job I could do. LOL! With my trusty bifocals on, I could possibly maneuver a drone over to Ukraine. Direct hit!

    • Shelby you thinking the Golden Circle or somewhere along the Rostov on Don, or maybe near Moscow?

      I know my brain won’t wrap around the Russian language let alone it’s Cyrillic alphabet.

      I don ‘t have enough money to make the move either, not to mention that the UK would withhold my pension if I moved to Russia.

      It’s my understanding that Russia will allow Russian citizenship after a year, don’t know if it’s true, the Americans and Brits living there claim it is.

      • Susan, I have been emailing a guy I saw on a video who lives in Russia, and he had been pointing out several apartments within 50 kilometers of Moscow City in Aprelevka, Russia. One apartment was only $291.60 US dollars per month, water and electricity were around $21.60 US dollars per month. It was a very nice size apartment. Then there was another bigger apartment, a three-bedroom for $700 US dollars per month with all utilities included that was also located near Moscow. I could afford to live there because I thought that my mother had excluded me from her will, but she left me a substantial insurance policy that would enable me to live comfortably on, plus with my savings from multiple lawsuits coming through, I would do well. I am currently living in a roach infested apartment that is costing me $1,250 a month and electricity is $50 a month. Many of the apartment buildings in Russia have multiple shops on the first floor including grocery stores. They have elevators, which I need since I am pushing a walker thanks to multiple vehicle accidents. I am trying really hard to head over to Russia since I love cold weather and I’ve got the means, and don’t need a pension or our Social Security that I’ve been paying into since I was 15 years old. I am hoping to get out of the U.S. and renounce my citizenship, pronto.

        • I was following the blog of Friar Joseph Gleason where there is a large community of ex pat US and other EU people.

          Unfortunately I would not do well among bible bashers because I stopped talking to God over 30 years ago, but his information was very useful.

    Due to the persistent Russian attacks on infrastructure???

    Already the estimated number of men of draught age fleeing Western Ukraine is 800,000 and it’s no coincidence that so many of draft age are fleeing just when Zelensky wants to throw them on the front lines as cannon fodder to prosecute the US proxy war led by the neo Nazis.

    Zelensky got his appointment on a ticket promoting better relations with Russia and as a consequence of his spineless obeisance to the US and their neo Nazis, millions of Ukrainians hate his guts, no matter what propaganda actors are saying(we don’t get to hear the other voices)and they are aware that if things turn south for him, if he can evade capture by said Nazis, he can flee to freedom with all his money and join his family in Israel. He’s a lying narcissist loving the limelight all over the world but at the end of the day he is also a lying sack of s**t!

        • Don’t know if it’s my server in the UK but I am not able to “like” comments and cannot always follow Dr. Stuarts posts. So use DuckDuckGo. Now and then if I’m logged in to my blog I can “like” all I like!

          • There is Like interference as well as comment interference on the net. I think part of it is related to clogs on the information highway at certain times. It’s easier for me to read and post when the Western Hemisphere is sleeping or doing other things.

            • In the UK so many people are unemployed that there are few exceptionally busy times. I know when the kids are home from school and parents home from work, there’ll be a clogging of connectivity of outgoings, but this is me posting during the day.

              I used to be with Russia’s huge Yandex search engine but my modem and supplier couldn’t connect so I was stuck with whatever else was non censoring,(anything but Google and Bing)

              I wish I was a bit more tech savvy, Dr. Stuart uses an old linux system(it’s like the unix system which I never had) so would struggle to master it. One problem that keeps repeating is “could not connect to server” so I’m a bit stuck.

              Will keep on trucking though, where there’s a will there’s a way!
