So, the US and Russia are accusing each other of developing the first and deadliest bioweapon. Would it be safe to assume both “world powers” are behaving abominally? No one can win in a war like that, except the microbes.
I can only refer you to the fanciful novel, “Rats, Lice, and History” by Hans Zinsser, who whose medical biology text is still used in US medical schools today. His novel is a fascinating acccount of the trajectory of a body louse, which he contended has won every war in history. This was written before viruses were discovered, in the 1920s, so subsequent editions have been updated, but his name lives on.

The problem is, the Americans are working on Bioweapons as are the British. As far as I know Russian is not.
