This new cargo includes mattresses, blankets, personal care products and food.

On Wednesday, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry sent a plane to Egypt with 27.5 tons of humanitarian aid destined for the population of the Gaza Strip.

The cargo includes mattresses, blankets, personal care products and food. This new shipment seeks to somewhat alleviate the sufferings of thousands of Palestinians whom the Israeli occupation forces have been attacking for almost two months.

The humanitarian aid will be delivered to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent, to be later sent to the Palestinian territory.

On November 24, the Emergency Situations Ministry also sent a batch of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip after the ceasefire that Hamas and Israel agreed to.

On that occasion, the Russian government sent 15 tons of supplies that included baby food, hygiene items, sheets, blankets and sleeping bags.

On Thursday, Egypt’s State Information Service (SIS) reported that authorities are currently making utmost efforts with partners in a bid to summarize the Israel-Hamas truce in the Gaza Strip and extend it further until reaching a comprehensive ceasefire.

“Until this happens, Egypt will continue its cooperation with partners to work to accelerate the transfer of humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza Strip,” SIS Director Diaa Rashwan said.

Israel and the Gaza-ruling Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) reached a 7-day ceasefire brokered by Egypt, Qatar and the United States from Nov. 24 to 30, after which Israel resumed its deadly siege and bombardment of the Palestinian enclave.

The Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza has been the only lifeline to provide the enclave with relief supplies donated by Egypt and other countries as well as local and international organizations.

Since October 7, indiscriminate bombings carried out by Israeli occupation forces have killed over 17,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

  1. What a propaganda oriented article, starting with claiming Israel as an occupation force, ending with the ceasefire resuming with Israel bombing, with no mention that it was Hamas that actually broke the ceasefire, and finally ending with the claim of indiscriminate bombing on Oct 7 by Israel with no mention of the brutal deaths of Israelis that started all this, among them elderly and children, followed by the hundreds of hostages taken, again including elderly and children.

    • Your post is so stupid, it belongs in a Monty Python Skit. The European and North American so-called Zionist settlers have been an occupying force since 1948. What you call Israel is known as occupied Palestine to the indigenous people there. Gaza is an open-aired concentration camp that the Israelis are bombing into the stone-age murdering at least 15,000 innocent civilians in the process. It’s obvious numbers don’t mean a thing to you. With your way of thinking, mass murder is OK if Zionists do it.

      • Your statement pre-supposes that the people living in the palestinian territory have claims that pre-date the Jews.
And the use of inflammatory language to discredit one side is laughable.

And you overlook the Israeli deaths?

Based on your logic, would only 1400 been the right number to kill? But 1401 would have been too much?

That logic is stupid and oversimplifies the whole situation.

I will add this…. Conflict will ALWAYS exist where humans reside. The ONLY solution is to resolve what resides in the heart of EVERY human being. Until then, there will NEVER be true peace; only different measures of tolerance.

        • The people living in the Palestinian territories are called Palestinians. And, yes, they do pre-date the Ashkenazi, Turkic-European colonizers from the Eastern old pale of settlement and Western Europe after WW2. The Israeli government is ethnically cleansing the Palestinian people. If you can’t see that, you are pretty thick!

  2. I wish I lived in Russia! I wish I was fluent in Russian, and I wish that I had information that the Russians could use so that I could defect to Russia from this western shithole. This shithole called, “America,” had better be glad that I’m no military general because I would have been accused of sabotage and espionage so damn many times, I would have no choice but to defect…and I would in a heartbeat. It is a sad ass shame when Russia, even fighting Nazis in Ukraine, is still able to send much needed supplies to the people of the Gaza Strip, even as this shithole continues to arm the Zionists to murder the innocent Palestinians.

    • Unfortunately, Shelby, the US isn’t the only shithole. Owing to the secret 5 eyes intelligence agreement (enforced by British intelligence), Britain, Canada, New Zealand and Australia all have governments that are systematically undermined by corporate and intelligence needs where voters have virtually no say in the activities undertaken by the politicians they supposedly vote into office.

  3. It exposes the shame that is the collective West inc. the US/UK that so few of the colonialist and Imperialist powers who got so rich plundering the resources of other countries, send nothing in humanitarian aid, but Big Bad Russia, is one of only a few to bring a little salvation to the long suffering Palestinians.

    • Since I cannot seem to post a link to the video on Facebook, let me transcribe the content:

“So I am here with something incredibly special. This is a brief guide made in 1924 [shown in video] printed here in Jerusalem to the al-Haram al-Sharif, which is The Temple Mount. This book was published by the Supreme Muslim Council. This was the Council from the Waqf that would have been in charge of The Temple Mount at that time. And this book would have been given to all guests and all tourists who would have been visiting that site.

And the amazing thing that we can see when we look inside of this book, when we are talking about the history of The Temple Mount, the history of this Holy and important site for the Jewish people, you can see this very clearly, printed by them at the time, you will see exactly what they talk about.

They talk about this being the site that connects to Solomon’s Temple. In fact, it says, ‘The identity with the site with Solomon’s Temple is beyond dispute.’ Even further than that, this too is the spot, according to universal belief of which David built there, and also unto the Lord.’

This book printed in 1924 would not be printed today. And the reason why is that it shows the undeniable proof that the Jewish people have a right to this land.

All this stuff we see in the media today where people try to dispute our connection was written by them. Once again, published by The Supreme Muslim Council in Jerusalem in 1924. ”

      Occupier, aye?
