The Palestinian Resistance has inflicted major losses on the Israeli occupation forces, destroying dozens of Israeli military vehicles in just our days.
The Resistance fighters in Gaza are still defending the strip and confronting the invading Israeli forces in Gaza City on numerous fronts as they continue to invade from the west of Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun in the north, al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Obeida said on Friday.
Abu Obeida revealed that 62 Israeli military vehicles had been destroyed in four days, including the flagship Israeli Merkava tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and bulldozers, using the Yassin 105 tandem anti-tank RPGs and IEDs.
Al-Qassam Brigades used improvised explosive devices, small arms, and sniper rifles to target gatherings of Israeli soldiers or infantry forces shielding themselves in residential buildings.
Al-Qassam killed at least nine Israeli soldiers who were outside their IFVs in two separate operations that took place three days ago, the spokesperson revealed.
Moreover, Abu Obeida said the Palestinian Resistance forces attached two Israeli military jeeps using anti-armor shells on Thursday morning northwest of Beit Lahia.
The Palestinian Resistance on Thursday also successfully destroyed a home in Beit Hanoun that was being used as a military site by Israeli occupation forces using anti-armor and anti-infantry shells, which led to numerous casualties.
The Palestinian Resistance is inflicting heavy losses on the Israeli occupation forces by hunting down and destroying any military vehicle they see, which is forcing them to withdraw on some fronts and axes, as well as changing their entire trajectories at times, he said.
The Resistance, according to Abu Obeida, has prepared itself “for a lengthy, dynamic, and ongoing defensive operation that could take place on all fronts.”
Losses to continue mounting
“Every minute the occupation forces spend in Gaza will be met with resounding and paramount failures,” he added, revealing that the al-Qassam artillery forces were attacking all mobilized Israeli forces within Gaza.
The artillery forces “continue to bomb all of the enemy’s forces in the invaded area and gatherings in Gaza and its parameters using small-range rockets and mortar shells while still launching rockets at Tel Aviv and Askalan.”
“We have documented and shared plenty of scenes showing our destruction of Israeli military vehicles and targeting of its soldiers, and we will continue to share footage down the line,” he added.
Abu Obeida touched on the crimes committed by the occupation against hospitals in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that it seeks to “prove baseless lies and imaginary command centers” through these actions.
“The Nazi occupation forces barged with tanks into a medical complex to showcase strength and control is the biggest evidence of its failure, as well as a disgrace to the international institutions of human rights and international law,” he stressed.
Multi-front fight
Furthermore, he praised the people of the West Bank and “the fighters of our Ummah who rushed to engage in Operation al-Aqsa Flood,” urging them to escalate against the enemy on all fronts and in all forms.
He addressed the Israeli settlers, who are “deceived by their fascist government,” telling them that the casualties among the occupation army soldiers in the field are “much more than you expect, and you will receive news of them, sooner or later.”
Regarding the Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip, Abu Obaida explained that the resistance “wanted this issue to be a humanitarian one,” reminding that the “motivation for Operation al-Aqsa Flood is your government’s extremist and criminal attack on our prisoners in the jails.”
“We have proposed reaching a prisoner exchange deal since the start of the operation, and we have tried and are fighting to preserve the lives of your captives. We were successful at times, and we did not at others due to your army’s brutal bombing campaigns,” he concluded.
For example, earlier in the day, al-Qassam revealed that Israeli captive Aryeh Zalman Zedmanovich, whose ID number is 0010185791, was recently taken to a care center because of the habitual panic attacks he would suffer due to the repeated Israeli bombings where he was being held.
Zedmanovich was receiving medical attention in captivity, with al-Qassam sharing footage of him before his death, wherein medical personnel were tending to him.
He kept having panic attacks until they got too much and he wound up dying because of one.
Demonstrations took over “Tel Aviv”, on Tuesday, as families of the Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip took to the streets, escalating pressure on the government of Israeli occupation government’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, demanding answers amid conflicting news regarding a possible exchange deal with the Palestinian Resistance, mediated by Egypt and Qatar and with a US blessing.
The settlers protesting Netanyahu’s government, carrying pictures of their children who are being held captive in the Strip, demanded “Netanyahu and the government give us answers and measures,” stressing that they “no longer have the strength.”

What is the point of this article, to disparage the response by Israel?
ATM, Israel is NOT an occupying force, nor an invading force (implying their entry was unwarranted).
Let us not forget that it was Hamas that invaded Israel and brutally murdered large numbers of Israelis, openly, visibly, and GLEEFULLY for all the world to see.
No matter the potential media biases, government cover-ups, etc, you CANNOT ignore this fact.

I think the point of the article is to compare the style of Palestinian resistance to the Shiite resistance in Iraq, which eventually prompted the US and the UK to withdraw their troops.

The point smayer is making really doesn’t make any sense. How can an occupied people invade their own territory? They can and did rise up against their occupiers. Too many people believe this battle started on October 07. It started in 1948 and the occupation has gotten worse every year. A two state solution will come eventually, if the Israelis like it or not. America is in no shape to fight their battles any longer and except for brainwashed America, Canada, and Britain, the rest of the world sees these Israeli thugs for who they really are!

Israel was not the aggressor. Israel has offered land for peace for a two-state solution MANY times but was rejected each and every time. Read your history.
This battle did not start in 1948. The history is thousands of years older.
Has Israel made mistakes in how it has handled the conflict over the years? Possibly.
Bottom line is you cannot have true peace, or any peace, if one people group not only believe the other should not exist but actively seeks to act to that end.

Yes, where the conflict is one-sided and genocidal that’s what I believe. In the case of Texas, there needs to reasonable negotiations about returning land to the indigenous Americans who were violently expelled from it.

The point I was making is that this approach can NEVER end… how far back do you go for ANY of these conflicts around the world? And with whom do they get resolved? Who are the rightful heirs?
It is an impossible task that is neither pragmatic, nor sensible, nor meaningful.
Even the indigenous people conquered their neighbours for territory.
Stop and think about it long enough and it should become clear how nonsensical this is.
There is an old folk story… A man asks his spiritual guide how he can rectify all his past wrongdoings. The guide tells him to take a feather pillow and go to the tallest cliff. When at the top, cut open the pillow and pour the contents out over the cliff.
After doing so, he returns and asks, now what do I do? He then instructs him to go and pick up every single feather…

That’s not at all what I’m suggesting. I think we read different history books. According to my understanding, Zionism started in the British foreign office in the late 19th century. It was hatched by intense anti-Semites like Lord Balfour, Milner and other roundtable members who sent Zionist missionaries to Eastern Europe to recruit Jews affected by the pogroms organized by the anti-Semitic advisors of the Russian royal family. The goal was 4-fold: 1) to eliminate Jews from Europe by sending them to live (starve?) in the desert 2) to prevent the united Arab state the Arabs were promised during World War I for joining Europe in fighting the Ottoman Empire 3) to carve out anti-Arab protection for the Suez Canal (essential to British maritime dominance) and 4) to protect potential British oil interests in the Middle East. This was at the same time the British foreign office was secretly funding the Muslim Brotherhood and Wahabi Islam which (contrary to the peace focus of the Koran) preached violent jihad. It’s also my understanding that Netanyahu was groomed by Anglo-American intelligence interests and that the majority of Israelis want him gone.

All may be true (though a lot of speculation) BUT you seem to miss the obvious… Israel did not start in the British foreign office.
Nevertheless, second but not least, Israel is not the aggressor. They did not initiate this conflict.
If anything, in both cases, they are the victims, even by your own admission.

I personally would describe Israel’s reaction to Hamas as “collective punishment,” which is a war crime. Since their bombing is mainly killing women and children (and not Hamas members).

I cannot speak to their strategy but one key part is they are targeting and focused on destroying infrastructure.
I’m no expert on war BUT apparently if a war crminal is intentionally puttingn innocents in harms way (human shields), the defender is justified in collateral damage.

Smayer977, I’ve given it a lot of thought, and where I think we have a fundamental disagreement over whether the stuff Israel and Hamas (and other Palestinian terrorists) do represents the will (or best interests) of the Israeli and Palestinian people. As I said previously, I don’t believe Netanyahu represents (or even cares about) the interests of Israelis. I think he has his own sick agenda. Likewise for Hamas. Moreover I don’t believe war is ever the answer, especially for confronting acts of terrorism, like what happened on Oct 7.
