Sep. 24, 2023 – Argentina – 50 year old cyclist Gustavo Lopreste finished a cycling race 20 minutes after the end of the race he got dizzy, collapsed and died suddenly from cardiac arrest on Sep. 24, 2023.

Sep. 20, 2023 – 20 year old Evelyn Mae Sorensen was found dead in her dorm room of Middlebury College at 10pm on Sep. 20, 2023. She was very athletic and had recently taken up cycling.

Sep. 12, 2023 – 27 year old Belgian professional cyclist Nathan van Hooydonck was forced to retire due to “heart problems”. He was involved in a car accident last week when he fell ill at the wheel and had a medical emergency.

Sep. 10, 2023 – London, UK – 63 year old David Graney who was participating in a charity bike ride collapsed with a cardiac arrest during the London to Brighton bike ride on Sep. 10, 2023 and was saved by doctors who were riding behind him.

Aug. 29, 2023 – Netherlands – 32 year old road racing cyclist, Wesley Kreder had a cardiac arrest on Aug. 29, 2023. He was diagnosed with “Myocarditis that can lead to cardiac arrest”. He will never race again.

Aug 12, 2023 – Nicoya, Costa Rica – 37 year old professional cyclist Sergio Andres Campos Rodriguez died suddenly on August 12, 2023 from a cardiac arrest he suffered during a cycling race, 3km from the finish line.

July 30, 2023 – Belfast, Ireland – Doctor & leading cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Simon MacGowan died in his sleep on July 29/30, 2023. “He had ridden a six-day tour of the Alps, from Geneva to Nice when he died in his sleep in Nice on completion of the trip.

July 29, 2023 – 48 year old Irish Triathlete Sarah Fagan, from Dundalk in Co Louth, tragically died in France on Saturday, July 29 after going into cardiorespiratory arrest while competing in the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon on Friday, July 28.

July 18, 2023 – Coeur d’Alene, Idaho – Clark Campbell, teacher of physical education died unexpectedly of cardiac arrest during a mountain biking trip on July 18, 2023.

July 15, 2023 – Cala Regina, Italy – 48 year old cyclist Andrea Sechi collapsed with cardiac arrest while cycling on a seaside road and died suddenly from “climate change” on July 15, 2023.

July 7, 2023 – 34 year old Belgian professional cyclist Sep Vanmarcke has announced his retirement due to cardiac MRI showing cardiac scar tissue he didn’t know he had.

May 17, 2023 – 24 year old Kazakh professional road racing cyclist Dinmukhammed Ulysbayev died unexpectedly of “acute heart failure” on May 17, 2023 in Los Angeles, CA.

May 6, 2023 – 56 year old Francois Beaulieu, New Brunswick’s top Energy Regulator, died suddenly on May 6, 2023. He had a sudden cardiac arrest while cycling on Saturday and died. Wife: “He was doing what he loved, cycling. His heart stopped but mine has not.”

My Take… 

Athletes continue to collapse from sudden cardiac arrests and I believe we are starting to see long term cardiac damage caused by COVID-19 mRNA Vaccines.

For example, 34 year old Belgian professional cyclist Sep Vanmarcke announced his retirement because he had a cardiac MRI that confirmed the presence of scarring that he was not aware of. He had only recently started having an abnormally high heart rate that prompted the cardiac MRI.

Most amateur athletes are unable to get a cardiac MRI or cardiac PET to check for scarring that would predispose them to sudden cardiac death. But it could mean the difference between life and sudden death.
