The results of a poll conducted in the US revealed that 52 per cent of Americans oppose their government sending weapons to Israel.
According to the poll conducted by CBS News, between 16-19 October, 57 per cent of participants support sending aid to Gaza.
Fifty-six per cent of Americans also expressed dissatisfaction with President Joe Biden’s policy regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Eighty-five per cent of participants expressed concern about the risk of a wider war in the Middle East, while 79 per cent expressed concern about the possibility of terrorism in the US.
Fifty-two per cent of Americans opposed Washington sending weapons and equipment to Israel, while 24 per cent said that Biden is providing too much support for Israel.

Good point, Katherine. The massive protests are probably more important than the polls. A very bad look for Democrats in an election year.

I agree. The protests in foreign countries and the unrest in the USA supercede political party affiliations. “Team Biden” is not playing out well.

Increase that number of those who oppose because I was not polled, and neither was anyone I know and so increase that number some more. People are protesting all over the place and the majority of protests are in support of the Palestinian people. Folks are being arrested for what is supposed to be a right over here; the right to gather and publicly have our grievances heard. There is no hint of freedom or democracy in this collapsing piece of filth!!

As I understand, Shelby, accurate polls are very difficult now that so many people have given up their landlines. Given the absence of reliable cellphone directories, it’s impossible to randomize polls to produce an unbiased sample.
