Indoctrination Working to Besiege Younger Persons with Gender Crisis
A physician e-mail from Medscape highlighted a paper by Sun et al on the dropping age of gender dysphoria in publicly available data. If gender dysphoria was an organic psychiatric illness, it would have steady epidemiological parameters. The enormous campaign for transgender acceptance, hypersexuality, and pornography introduced into schools appears to be working. As the data show, gender dysphoria is still largely a post-pubertal issue, however, the curves are reaching down to the pre-pubertal age groups.

The authors readily acknowledge that social engineering of “gender fluidity” into the use of pronouns, school pornography, and social media campaigns is having an influence. Parents should pay attention to this trend. There is a clear attempt to create psychopathology in younger age groups were it did not exist in years before.

And YET, the study makes the bold statement that “The concept of gender is a social construct”, and using the term “…sex assigned at birth”. :-\

I’m inclined to agree. Historically gender has been defined in distinctly different ways in different epochs and settings. About 1 in 100 babies have born with ambiguous external genitalia.

Just to be clear, are you saying that you agree that it is a social construct?
My understanding is that the separation of gender and biological sex is a relatively modern phenomenon introduced by Dr. John Money. Prior to that, gender and sex have been historically based on biological sex alone.
Intersexed individuals are a deviation from the norm. Historically, deviations have never been used to redefine objective reality, until more recently.

I agree that it’s a recently (in my lifetime) introduced social construct. I worked extensively with transgender individuals in my private practice in Seattle (1985-2002)
