I learned in psychiatry training that antidepressants can initially exacerbate symptoms of depression and other impulse control.

Their tendency to increase suicidal ideation in adolescents is well-known. The FDA tried to conceal this when they approved SSRI’s for use in children and adolescents in 2003.

I subscribe to Carl Jung’s idea about synchronicity, that certain things like to happen together. We’ve heard lots about the link between psychiatric drugs and violence. Is it possible that the connection to mass shootings corresponds more to pervasive and free-floating anger than to any specific psychiatric diagnosis or medication?
I like RFK, Jr., and I have my own issues with psychiatric meds, but there are too many groups studying the problems and not enough care given to healing the nation’s addiction to violence.
