Nothing is guaranteed. You’ve been advocating local sustainability for a long time but have a lot to contend with. Government and corporations harness huge reserves of “human capital” under large umbrellas, then exploit that advantage, at the expense of individuals’ rights and abilities to self-direct and cooperate voluntarily.

I see a lot of that changing, Katherine, at least here in New Zealand, with thousands of teachers, nurses and hospitality workers being deliberately forced out of work for refusing to be vaccinated. Their only choice now is to band together to cooperatively meet their basic needs or to watch their children starve.
