The sign above was sent to ANP by a reader inNW New Jersey – a rural area and the date shown in the bottom right side is August 24, 2021, giving us a time frame of when this particular store in this state printed up those signs and started announcing they were having supply chain issues.
The message accompanying the image said:
Hi Susan and Stefan,
Saw this sign on Monday when I went to the store. This is in NW New Jersey – a rural area. Forgot to take a picture but the butter section was low too.
Will keep on sending as I can.

How many other countries are soon going to be in the same boat?

I reckon all Western and third world countries, Aunty. Russia will be all right, as the US sanctions have forced them to prioritize food sovereignty. China will be also be all right, owing to a wealth of treaties with countries (including New Zealand) that provide them with food.
