  1. I definitely believe it was planned. Trump’s lawyers had a whole lot of Republican lined up to enter testimony about state vote fraud into the Congressional Record – and there were people in high places determined not to let that happen.

  2. I don’t think that’s the issue, Tube. I think the issue is that the Congressional leadership and the Capitol Police and numerous intelligence agencies had advance knowledge of the protest (including the possibility the protestors might arm themselves) and yet they did not prepare the cops by suiting them up in riot gear. In dealing with left leaning protests, city cops have been suited up in riot gear since the anti-WTO protests in Seattle in 1999. The narrative we are being fed doesn’t pass the smell test.
