Well, looking at the election returns I would say proportion who are duped is a little under 50%. I think the US election was a COVID election, just as the NZ election was.

I was going by the percentage that voted for Trump. I don’t see how anyone who truly believes the Covid narrative could vote for Trump.

IMHO, Trace, global capitalist structures have steadily been breaking down since 2000. This breakdown mainly manifests as a series of economic crashes – with the worst being the 2008 global economic crash and the current COVID economic crisis. The steady destruction of the middle class is probably the strongest evidence of capitalism breaking down. In the past, the capitalist elite mainly used a well trained middle class to control us, but with the middle class steadily vanishing, the only option they are left with is naked violence by the police and military. In a large country, this type of totalitarian control can only be maintained with strong energy, communication and food supply networks. As these networks continue to slowly break down, neighborhoods and communities will no longer look to government and corporations to meet their needs, and they will opt out of the corporate system by finding ways to look after themselves and each other at the neighborhood and community. We have an excellent model of this happening in South Africa in the 1990s – this played a major role in the fall of the apartheid system. The film of Nowtopia, which I posted today, describes this process in some detail.
