  1. American, Russian troops are interacting with each other almost daily in Syria, US general says

U.S. troops in Syria interact with Russian troops in the region almost every day — and most of the interactions are not contentious, according to Maj. Gen. Kenneth Ekman, deputy commander of Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve.
Despite recent reports of hostile situations, Ekman told reporters Wednesday such scenarios are rare, even though both forces conduct frequent convoys.

“We coexist in some of the same spaces,” Ekman said. “As we do that, we abide by the deconfliction protocols. Whether it’s on the ground or in the air, we see each other all the time.”

The comments come after Brett McGurk, the former special envoy to the counter-ISIS coalition, shared a video on Twitter that appears to depict a confrontation between U.S. and Russian troops in Syria. He tweeted U.S. troops are subjected to harassment from Russian troops on a “daily basis” as he pressed President Donald Trump to “pick up the phone and tell Putin to stop harassing our troops.

  2. The Russians informed the US forces in advance of their patrol information as per protocol. So Russian forces say “this is our turn”, it means don’t be there while we’re at there with this notification. But US forces do not care about this, it appears and are trying to prevent the Russian patrol at first. The Russian armored vehicle is also taking action to prevent the US armored vehicle from the area. The Russian helicopter also lifts dust to block the view of the US forces. This is also the first incident that resulted in injury, that is, the first US soldiers in the region were injured by the Russian intervention, even though they had interacted several times before.

You know Dr. Bramhall, the important thing here is that the US forces ignore any rules, don’t care about protocols, and act by thinking that everywhere on the planet is of theirs. The US government and its infrastructures have been a rogue body for decades that does not recognize any international law and rule-protocols, and formed by those who think every part of the planet is Texas and they are cowboys! They are so ignorant and far from civilization! And again we ask, what is the US doing in the Middle East! Any country people do not want to see the armed force of you or anyone else on this planet on their own land!

  3. I would also like to point out it’s pitty that many of the US people are still fighting-arguing for republican party and democrat party, like who can pee the furthest contest. The unemployment figures are obvious in US, this will increase even more with the pandemic at there too, which is already on the rise. Health system of them is very bad. Food will be more difficult to access, and hunger will no longer be a shortage of just African countries, just as it will be all over the planet in near future, and the US will have its share.

So I mean, a lot of US people don’t ask “where my taxes are going, they don’t meet our needs as ordinary people, but they are massing military in the Middle East and many other places.” I hope they realize soon that everything is about class!

    • Well, the world & those of us in the US have been fed so many lies to take out T imo…(And CDC is privately owned, too…)

“This week the CDC quietly updated the Covid number to admit that only
6% of all the 153,504 deaths recorded actually died from Covid.

      That’s 9,210 deaths.

The other 94% had 2 to 3 other serious illnesses and the overwhelming
majority were of very advanced age; 90% in nursing homes.”

  4. You are indeed right, “The fact remains that Russian forces are in Syria at the invitation of the Syrian government and US troops are an illegal occupying force. And Trump has been very open about his desire to (illegally) secure Syrian oil fields for US use.” Dr. Bramhall. And thank you for the links.:)
