The Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating whether Obama admin officials conspired against Donald Trump as part of their Russian meddling probe.
U.S. Attorney John Durham is probing the possibility that Obama officials hid or manipulated evidence which was then used to frame Trump and falsely accuse him of working with Russia to win the 2016 election.
Durham was assigned by Attorney General William Barr to scrutinize the actions of Obama-era officials in the early days of the Russia Probe that eventually triggered the Mueller investigation.
