Stuart, I thank you for bringing this to public awareness… This happened to my son at 6 months after vaccinations… At least the doctors theory was that we had “interrupted crib death”… He did not blame the vaccinations but it happened the very evening after his shots-connect the dots!… I went to check on him as he was sleeping through his feeding and he was purple and black around his mouth eyes… I was freaking of course as I watched his head roll lifeless when I picked him up ….and then I heard a HUGE gasp and he began breathing again… After that his color soon returned, there was no other physical reason for him to quit breathing… Parents please beware as many babies are NOT as lucky as my son…

How terribly frightening for you, Deb. No mother should have to go through that. My daughter very wisely postponed my grandson’s vaccinations until he was 9 months old. I don’t think she would have allowed them at all, but it seemed to be causing severe conflict with my son-in-law, who is very conventional in this respect.
