In the last four decades, Bornean orangutans lost over a half of their natural habitats. And the main reason is logging operations. Nowadays, Sungai Putri Forest is among the very few homes left for these animals. But, unfortunately the place is under a major threat, because of humans actions.
“Sungai Putri is home to one of the largest populations in the world, and we are at a critical point for the Bornean orangutan,” Karmele Llano Sanchez, program director of IAR in Indonesia, stated. “Without forests like this, they can’t survive.”
IAR does restless efforts to save and the last natural environments in Indonesia, but their success rate seems to be very low.
The Most Revolutionary Act 
This is exactly why ‘humans’ are going to soon know exactly what it feels like to have their homes, gone. We cannot, nor will we continue to be allowed to destroy the innocent animals and other species of life on this planet and not expect any repercussions. And yet, when our shit gets flooded out and tornadoes tear up houses and mobile home parks, we are expected to spout prayers and other nonsense, not even realizing that this is ALL payback.
Here in my neck of the woods, I am ever vigilant when I drive because so much construction has been done throwing up subdivisions that the deer population has nowhere to go but in the yards of the homes of ‘humans’. So many people have killed deer here, that it is a huge problem. The animals are losing their habitat and they are the ones suffering for it first while ‘humans’ expect to never suffer the consequences for what they set in motion. Well, we are and we shall continue!
