The statement was made by Céline Fremault, the Minister of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region, responsible for Housing, Quality of Life, Environment and Energy. From an interview last Friday, with L’Echo:

“I cannot welcome such technology if the radiation standards, which must protect the citizen, are not respected, 5G or not. The people of Brussels are not guinea pigs whose health I can sell at a profit. We cannot leave anything to doubt.”

  1. A sad fact is that America will most definitely say “Yes!” to 5G. Americans want everything at the speed of light even if it is killing them. And so apparently, they don’t think they’re dying fast enough as it is what with opioid overdoses, intentional suicides, gun violence, a sedentary lifestyle that has fostered an obesity epidemic accompanied by high cholesterol and diabetes and the list is endless.

  2. Good point, ebolainfo. The Belgian people have a reputation for complacency going back several decades. I think this is changing, though. Weren’t they one of the first countries to take up the yellow vest movement from France?
