  • Constitutional cap on taxes – at 25%
  • Increase of 40% in the basic pension and social welfare
  • Increase hiring in public sector to re-establish public services
  • Massive construction projects to house 5 million homeless, and severe penalties for mayors/prefectures that leave people on the streets
  • Break up the ‘too-big-to-fail’ banks, re-separate regular banking from investment banking
  • Cancel debts accrued through usurious rates of interest

Politics

  • Constitutional amendments to protect the people’s interests, including binding referenda
  • The barring of lobby groups and vested interests from political decision-making
  • Frexit: Leave the EU to regain our economic, monetary and political sovereignty (In other words, respect the 2005 referendum result, when France voted against the EU Constitution Treaty, which was then renamed the Lisbon Treaty, and the French people ignored)
  • Clampdown on tax evasion by the ultra-rich
  • The immediate cessation of privatization, and the re-nationalization of public goods like motorways, airports, rail, etc
  • Remove all ideology from the ministry of education, ending all destructive education techniques
  • Quadruple the budget for law and order and put time-limits on judicial procedures. Make access to the justice system available for all
  • Break up media monopolies and end their interference in politics. Make media accessible to citizens and guarantee a plurality of opinions. End editorial propaganda
  • Guarantee citizens’ liberty by including in the constitution a complete prohibition on state interference in their decisions concerning education, health and family matters

Health/Environment

  • No more ‘planned obsolescence’ – Mandate guarantee from producers that their products will last 10 years, and that spare parts will be available during that period
  • Ban plastic bottles and other polluting packaging
  • Weaken the influence of big pharma on health in general and hospitals in particular
  • Ban on GMO crops, carcinogenic pesticides, endocrine disruptors and monocrops
  • Reindustrialize France (thereby reducing imports and thus pollution)
    Foreign Affairs
  • End France’s participation in foreign wars of aggression, and exit from NATO
Cease pillaging and interfering – politically and militarily – in ‘Francafrique’, which keeps Africa poor. Immediately repatriate all French soldiers. Establish relations with African states on an equal peer-to-peer basis
  • Prevent migratory flows that cannot be accommodated or integrated, given the profound civilizational crisis we are experiencing
  • Scrupulously respect international law and the treaties we have signed

  1. I don’t think that’s too much to want. If Macron can strut around in costly attire and thumb his nose at those who are homeless and who are also without adequate health care, then he should be dragged out of the presidential palace or whatever domicile he resides in. At least the French are not wimps like what’s in the U.S. We’d never do what the French are doing and the main reason why is because those who are out in the streets protesting are French. They look like each other and for the most part, speak the same language. They are not from multiple countries who look on one another as an enemy instead of as being in the same boat as is the case in the U.S. It would never work here because we’ve got skinhead groups, pro gun groups, restrict gun sales groups, anti-religion groups, religious groups, anti-immigrant groups, pro-life groups, pro abortion groups and the list is endless and they are all hating on whomever they think does not think like them. How is that lot supposed to come together against the common enemy of us all? They can’t and they won’t and so the status quo will continue.

    • Excellent point about them all (mostly) speaking French, Shelby, but France is actually one of the most shockingly racist countries in their treatment of dark-skinned North Africans who have been immigrating from former French colonies (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia) for several generations now. They, too, regularly riot against their appallingly atrocious living conditions. France also has their own right wing nationalist Donald Trump only she’s a woman name Marine Le Pen.

      • Yes, I had read about what the Africans are experiencing over there and about the fact that they’ve had to take to the streets in protest over their plight as well. I have stated time and time again, that there is no country that is accepting of the darker hued people, no country. And so I am not surprised at all!

  2. I don’t like violence in the streets and the willful destruction of property. But I agree with the demands of the Yellow Vest Manifesto. What these protesters ask for, why cannot government take that into consideration in the first place. Why are demands like this only being noticed when such protests occur? Shouldn’t governments be there for all the people, including the very disadvantaged?

  3. At least they have the guts for stand up and fight for what they want! We here in America are so sound asleep that the government passes laws we aren’t even aware of, taxes everything they can possibly tax, takes from the little guy while they live lives of luxury..not to mention they allow the Jewry to run our country! I commend them!

    • Thanks for commenting, Becky. I, too, have concerns about the massive power of the pro-Israel Zionist lobby in directing US foreign policy but I see that as being totally distinct from the Jewish religion or people of Jewish ancestry.

  4. Thank you for this, I figured eventually some diligent ‘citizen journalist’ would dig up that info for us all, lordy knows we’re not going to hear any more than meaningless soundbites seeped in propaganda on the MSM.
