Agreed, Mark. New Zealand has presently banned the involvement of Huawei in the development of a 5G network here – but on security grounds. I am puzzled that it’s even legal to arrest and extradite a foreign person for violating unilateral US sanctions. What possible authority would the US have to do that?

Your comment makes a lot of sense, Gloria. Trump received the best training there is in graft and corruption, bullying and, where necessary, kissing ass. At the same time, I’m skeptical he even knows what the word neocon means.

It is funny because the Nafta, Trump signed is worse for America than the previous one. Most of the tariffs benefit the Trump family and their fat-cat friends. We live in an upside-down time. More so than ever before.
