From the article:
“AGR – First Trump lied when he said that the FBI was investigating this murder of a US citizen. (It wasn’t and still isn’t)
Then he lied again when he said he had no financial ties to Saudi Arabia.
Then he lied again when he said that this journalist was not a US citizen, which is why he would not investigate his murder, after he was caught lying about the FBI investigating this.
Then he lied again when he said that we cannot afford to ‘upset’ the arms dealers in the US by investigating Saudi Arabia’s link to this brutal murder.”
As I have stated before, Trump is a pathological liar! His entire Administration is made up of corrupt, criminal liars. His own personal attorney, Michael Cohen needs an attorney. Almost every single cabinet member is being investigated, has been investigated or needs to be investigated for corruption, collusion, fraud and the list is endless. And why has no one said a word about what the Saudis are doing to the people of Yemen with the blessings of the U.S. government? Why is one ‘American’ journalist’s life worth more than hundreds of thousands of Yeminis who have been murdered by the Saudis? And as you can see, profits ‘TRUMPS’ human rights abuses and murder when Donald Trump is attempting to give a free pass to the Saudis because of billions of dollars in arms sales to the Saudis to continue their obliteration of the people of Yemen and any others that get in their way. Those Saudi princes are despots of the worst kind and Trump is defending them. How can the Saudis get away with ‘investigating’ themselves after murdering a man? This is reprehensible and for Trump to remain as president of this country is an outrage!
Thanks so much for your comment, Shelby. I find it very difficult to keep track of all the lies without a score card. I’m not sure why it is, but something in me tends to tune out after the 3rd or 4th lie. This is not a good thing because you are absolutely right: Trump must be held to account for what he says and does.
Owing to his obvious social and emotional immaturity (and to the ferocity of his supporters), it has become too easy for much of the media to give him a pass for his flagrant lawbreaking.
