Good point, Cali. As I recall, economist Michael Hudson used to lump all the FIRE industries together – finance, insurance and real estate.

Pingback: Did You Know That Insurance Companies Are Not Covering Cell Phone and WiFi Radiation Exposure Health Issues? How Lloyd’s of London and Others Figure In. | Rangitikei Enviromental Health Watch
It was established long ago that doctors were developing brain cancer from using cellphones and this did not deter the public from taking them up and running with them. Although we cannot entirely limit our exposure to radiation, we should do what we can and I for one, refuse to use cellphones. I just wish that when derechos and tornadoes and hurricanes and other windstorms occur, that they would knock down those cell towers since they emit a great deal of radiation. I sincerely wish that this technology had never been discovered because we were all the better for having landline phones that did not come with a warning label. And now, we have insurers stating that they will not cover radiation from what billions are now using; cellphones.
We will not realize until it is too late that we are contributing to one of the most inhumane suffering a person could endure before they expire. Cancer is no joke and a cellphone is just not worth the risk. And yet too many are clearly addicted to them.

It’s really sad, isn’t it, Shelby? I suspect cellphone warnings (and stories like this) aren’t being carried by the mainstream media, but I know several cities require health warnings in all stores where cellphones are sold. It’s hard to know whether people are unaware of the dangers – or if they simply choose to ignore them.
15 years ago Derek Jensen was calling for activists to blow up dams to save the salmon and cellphone towers to save the people. Too bad no one listened to him.
