On May 10, 2018, German Chancellor Angela Merkelopenly said that Europe can no longer count on the United States to protect it, hinting that the European continent would begin to “take destiny into its own hands.

The comments were, of course, a direct reference to US President Donald Trump’s ludicrous but anticipated decision to completely nuke the Iranian nuclear accord, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

  1. American and even Russian foreign policy, makes no sense anymore! Russia today once cemmented that Putin uses chaos, and dissembled PR and propaganda, to keep people on edge and do as he pleases. Same for fuko the clown. I hope NATO is Ended. The neoconservatives, fuko, pnac, the cia have a knack for misdirection and deception. Maybe the oligarchs, who really control putin, russia, will decide that breaking-up NATO is not profitable for their uranium, nuclear weapons, and plutonium business and NATO will stay. What tangle webs, the psychopaths who really control things, weave.

    • Nick, from what I’ve read Putin walks a real tight rope in Russia because the oligarchs hate him and the official opposition is run by the CIA. It’s my understanding there a still genuine communist elites in Russia who hate the oligarchs (and vice versa) and it’s his role to keep them from killing each other. I hate that Russia is so involved in the uranium business and fossil fuels – I don’t understand why China doesn’t help them develop renewable energy. I, too, want to see an end to NATO>
