In the biggest blow he’s dealt to the renewable energy industry yet, President Donald Trump decided on Monday to slap tariffs on imported solar panels.
The U.S. will impose duties of as much as 30 percent on solar equipment made abroad, a move that threatens to handicap a $28 billion industry that relies on parts made abroad for 80 percent of its supply. Just the mere threat of tariffs has shaken solar developers in recent months, with some hoarding panels and others stalling projects in anticipation of higher costs. It is distressing, Rosalienne. Apparently South Korea is affected as well as China and they are filing a complaint with the WTO: https://etfdailynews.com/2018/01/23/china-set-to-retaliate-in-trumps-renewed-trade-war-fxi/
I suppose this also means the US war with North Korea is off the table – as it is virtually impossible for the US to declare war with North Korea without South Korean cooperation.

I am not surprised because Trump is just like all the other corporate heads who don’t give a damn about the environment and those like Trump don’t even believe in climate change. And corporations don’t believe that people should be able to breathe clean air. What’s a little pollution when in fact there is no such thing as a little pollution when there is toxic smoke billowing into the atmosphere endangering peoples health, daily? Greed ‘Trumps’ safety, every time!

Dr. Bramhall, I tried watching Fox News just to see if it was as horrible as I had heard and it was even worse than I had heard. I was too nauseated to even make it through more than 20 minutes.
