Okay, I’m okay with wind power (as I am with solar)… when it comes to the people that get angry over the wind farms killing birds, there are ways to discourage birds from flying into wind turbines.

Outdoor cats kill far more birds that wind turbines do. Perhaps they could shift their ire to cats, who also infect pregnant women and children with toxoplasmosis, which can cause permanent brain calcifications and schizophrenia. There is absolutely no reason why cats shouldn’t be licensed the way dogs are and kept indoors.
