Nestle has come under fire after the company were caught funnelling tens of millions of gallons of water from drought-stricken California, and selling it for a profit.
In the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California, Nestle siphon millions of gallons of water, desperately needed by the State, and bottle it up at a nearby plant to be sold as Arrowhead Water in stores.
CBS reports: According to the Beverage Marketing Co., the water business is booming, and bottled water sales were up 9 percent over the last year. The trend has sent Nestle looking for new sources to meet customer demand.
Of the company’s current 40 water sources around the country, 11 are in California, which is dealing with a long-term drought.

Same here, Kenneth. Hopefully the negative attention they are getting via social media will expand the boycott and begin to affect their profits – as is happening with McDonald’s and Monsanto.
