We have been saying for some time now that lunatics have taken over and are guarding this asylum. Well, they are just proving this to be true. Why all of our heads are not spinning what with trying to keep up with this circus of horrors is a mystery to me, because our heads should be spinning over the daily deluge of wackiness coming out of Washington.

I guess I’m quite lucky, Shelby, not being bombarded with this bullshit, as you are in the US. Of course, we have our own quaint Kiwi-style corruption, especially with an election coming up in September. But at least we haven’t bombed any civilians recently.

Kudos to you guys for using restraint when it comes to bombing folks. We’ll never get the ‘peace’ prize, for sure! Damn! Did I lie or did I lie? I lied! Obama’s got the Nobel Peace Prize with him in his new mansion in DC FOR bombing civilians. Don’t that beat all?

I’m not so sure of that, Alan. The corporate media continues to trumpet this line, but US approval ratings of Trump and Congress couldn’t get much lower. At times, congressional approval ratings run around 9-10% – and that’s only among Americans who vote (about 50% of the population).
