My Marine Corps career spanned some 35 years (with a lot of reserve and broken time) and included 2 wars–Vietnam and Desert Storm.

I’m a slow learner. It took me some 45 years to come to the realization that NOTHING I had ever done for the Marine Corps ever had ANYTHING to do with “freedom in America” or “protecting the constitution” or any other of that flag waving horse shit.

EVERYTHING I ever did for the Marine Corps had EVERYTHING to do with the aggrandizement of the state and the enrichment of the politicos and their cronies in the military-industrial-congrssional-educational-and law enforcement Cartel.

In short, I was a dupe.
It pains me to realize that the uS government used to pay me to kill people who were just exactly like the people who run the uS government.

If it took 45 years for this person to finally get it, that he was a dupe, then we are doomed because I don’t think we have another 45 years for the cannon fodder to figure out that they are mere dupes; stooges for the warmongers. It wouldn’t take me a nanosecond to realize what’s what and so I just don’t get why it took this guy so long to wake up and smell the stench, not of freedom and justice, but of war profiteering, toppling democratically elected leaders of other countries and that you cannot bring freedom or consider yourself to be bringing humanitarianism to another country by means of war.

    • Shelby, to be honest I think women have a natural advantage over men in connecting the dots, seeing the big picture, seeing hidden agenda however you want to put it. I think women are naturally socialized to do such things – they have to know how to do them to protect their children.

      I think the main reason people have been “duped” for so long is that Wall Street (mainly via CIA control of the mainstream media) has maintained absolute control of the information we have access to. Over the last 10 years there has been a crack in that absolute control via the free Internet – though I have concerns how long we will continue to enjoy that freedom.

      I guess for now the best we can do is to use this freedom to get as much information as we can out there how things really work and try to wake people up – before the corporate state takes total control of the Internet.
