#StillSanders – maybe in 2020.

I would hope that he’s training up his successor. At his age, we face the very real possibility he could die during the campaign.

Yes, that’s a real possibility. Although Bernie is only 4-5 years older than Trump and Hillary, respectively, it sure seems like he puts more heart and energy into his work than those two combined. (Did you notice he continued introducing Senate bills during his campaign?) He is sure to die with his boots on, whenever that happens.
The way I see it, the burden of a successor falls on Bernie’s shoulders, whether he runs for President in 2020 or not. He must lend his presence and influence, or a fledgling 3rd party would most likely never get off the ground.
Who do you think would make a good backup? Maybe Tulsi Gabbard? She’s strong and true.

Bernie actually does care about the people and not the elites.

Agreed, Broadblogs. At his age, he’s not consolidating either his power or his status.

Well, I am still somewhat shocked at those West Virginia voters because with the opioid addiction tearing unholy hell through West Virginia, you would think that they would have picked a candidate that would not have touted the complete gutting of ObamaCare right out the gate; what with those people needing all up on some rehab and that is costly, not to mention the cost of those who constantly overdose until they die. But people will bite their nose off to spite their face. Oh well.

It’s really sad, isn’t it, Shelby? I think a lot of these people saw Trump as a protest vote against Clinton. There’s only so much criminality people can tolerate in their lives. Thanks for your comment.
