This is one of the daftest stories I’ve heard in a long while, but since the Guardian, Washington Post and even President Obama are still trying to persuade us that this evidence-free allegation of Russian hacking is serious and worthy of the world’s attention then here is definitive debunking courtesy of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), whose combined expertise includes William Binney and Ray McGovern. The bottom line is that the NSA would know where and how any “hacked” emails from the DNC, HRC or any other servers were routed through the network. This process can sometimes require a closer look into the routing to sort out intermediate clients, but in the end sender and recipient can be traced across the network.

The Most Revolutionary Act 
The circular logic is disturbing, in that, hackers such as Wikileaks, are automatically labeled as Russian agents. This means that any investigation will inevitably find the conclusion that it desires, i.e., Russia and or their agents are behind it, by fiat of this irrebuttable presumption.

It gets even worse – with Obama endorsing this bullshit at a recent press conference. You would think at this point in his presidency he would show a little testiciularity. I mean what has he got to lose?

Here is a Tubularsock “rule of thumb” …… the deeper the bull shit the bigger the lie! Just this morning Tubularsock noticed that his soy milk was missing and asked the bunker cleaner what she knew about this. She said she knew nothing about the soy milk but as Tubularsock looked into her deep set eyes Tubularsock felt those eyes looked a lot like Putin’s! Russians are sneaky!

Yes, there is the fraud of the election itself behind the smokescreen, certainly the Jim Crow tactics of the Republicans, and also but not so obviously Bernie’s amazingly narrow snatching of defeat from the jaws of certain victory. But there is also — and only, of course, incidentally — the incriminating content of the Russian leaked emails, which might have been solid grounds for an indictment or two and long prison terms, but for the intent of the Russians itself invalidating those grounds, a malicious subversion of democracy and an act of war. And then . . . and then . . . there is the silliness of the silly smokescreen itself.
I dunno. But it seems to me that a whole lot more is being exposed than they had hoped to hide. Indeed! Russians are sneaky!

Norman, as far as I can see all that has been accomplished this year has been improved TV ratings for the presidential election. It’s my impression that they’re trying to lure young people back to TV and electoral politics – but I doubt if it will work.
