It’s the same here in Australia, racism is rife. It’s not just dark people. Our government is finely honing racism against almost anyone not British and white. Look at our own Pauline Hanson’s ‘One Nation,’ followers.

Racism is still alive and well here in New Zealand, as well – though it’s my impression that Maori have been more effective in fighting back. I think it helps that they are unified through a single language. Maori has now been officially approved as New Zealand’s second language.
