Baking soda works just as well for me as it did for my grandmother – and it’s also far cheaper. I know how it is though. The colorful packaging and corporate logos leap out at you from the supermarket shelves and it’s very hard not to be seduced. It’s a kind of addiction.

Our National government does something similar here in New Zealand. However there is massive public opposition to the “solar tax” – so I think they will be scrapping it before the election next year.
