CIA Agents Arrested in Turkey for Erdogan Assassination Attempt*

By Sean Adl-Tabatabai

President Putin has been notified of the arrest of two CIA agents who Turkey say shot down a Russian plane last November, and attempted to assassinate President Erdogan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) for the Republic of Turkey, the two captured CIA pilots were not only responsible for shooting down the Russian Sukhoi Su-24m bomber over Syria last year, but also attempted to kill President Erdogan during the failed “coup” attempt a few days ago.

Whatdoesitmean.com reports:

The MoD further warned that the Obama regime was planning to kill President Erdogan in a coup and replace him the CIA’s “designated figurehead” Fethullah Gulen—and that Turkey’s MoFA confirmed just hours ago was behind this plot by stating that “the Fethullah Gülen Terrorist Organization is behind this coup attempt”.

  1. If this is true the USA should have sanctions imposed on it, as well as travel restrictions. Close your bases USA. Fix your country. Stop killing the innocent. This murderous regime has to be stopped.

    • Unfortunately the US has always been an empire – the whole reason the Constitution was written was to build a new continental army to seize native American lands west of the Appalachians. Then we used our military to seize most of Mexico, then Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Philippines. After WWII, we figured out that we didn’t need legal authority to colonize the third world and the Middle East – so we just sent our armies and banks in to occupy them.

  2. 🤔 Could also be game from the other side. There was a fall out between Erdogan & Gulen (not sure spelled correctly). These two used to be good buddies. May not be as what Erdogan’s team is depicting.

  3. Very thought-provoking! I haven’t actually read this in local Turkish newspapers, nor seen it reported on TV, which I find rather surprising. I find it hard to believe that the US would be so stupid as to think they could install Gülen as leader, president, sultan or whatever, of Turkey, I’m also puzzled about why those “CIA” pilots would abort their mission when they had their target locked. You’d think they’d be prepared to die for their cause. I’m a bit nervous that certain dark forces are trying to show that Turkey and Russia are becoming allies against the US, with the aim of justifying more extreme US action. However, none of the forgoing should be taken as implying that I don’t think the US was somehow involved. • I don’t really think the US was thinking of installing Gulen – it seemed more likely they were looking at the Turkish military officers who instigating the coup taking over. What has really impressed me is the tremendous inroads Gulen and his followers have made in Turkish schools, universities and private businesses. I suspect much of this was done with CIA money.
