Activists from around the country traveled to Flint again, over Memorial Day weekend to provide residents with an enormous quantity of donated water. Read on to learn their shocking findings.
Activists from all Over the U.S. Deliver Aid to Flint*
By Claire Bernish

Lead contaminates the water in Flint, Michigan, and as you’ve probably heard, the state government in conjunction with emergency managers needlessly endangered the lives of every resident in the city by poisoning its water supply with toxic lead — for a savings amounting to about $80 to $100 per day. And while the Flint Water Crisis has largely disappeared from headlines in both mainstream and alternative media, residents are no closer to receiving the most basic human right with any consistency.
In fact, the situation, in many ways, continues to worsen as the government not only originally failed to keep informed residents of the economically-depressed city what’s being done to solve their crisis, but failed to provide adequate supply for their daily lives.
Imagine suddenly being unable to turn the tap on in warming weather for…

This is worse than a travesty. And even with activists delivering water, there is nothing like a nice, refreshing shower and I would not even want that water coming from the showerhead to touch me, anywhere. It is bad enough that the city and state officials knew about this, but to have this continue even as that lame snake Obama sat there and sipped at the water AND that is all he did, was just the end of enough.
It never fails! Turn the cameras away and it’s on to the next news story of the day. Thank goodness for those activists, but they should not even be needed because the ‘right’ thing should have been done.
Thanks Dr. Bramhall, for re-blogging this to bring to our attention that the water situation in Flint, MI has in no way, been cleared up! Sigh!

They pull that old water sipping trick a lot here in Taranaki – trying to convince us our fracking waste water is safe. We’ve had fracking here so long (20+ years) that we have a nice little cancer cluster of people who’ve been drinking contaminated water. Like this famous picture of Fred McLay – who alternates between working for Shell Oil and our regional council: http://www.stuff.co.nz/taranaki-daily-news/news/6031938/Report-gives-fracking-all-clear

And if they did sip the water for two seconds, how would that prove the long-lasting effects of ‘fracked waste water? It wouldn’t and they know that, but they bank on people being clueless and stupid. It is good that many are showing those fake-assed officials that they aren’t buying that bullshit they’re selling.
And how could anyone with a conscience know that that water kills people in one of the most horrible of ways to die, by cancer and not be phased by it? Oh, my bad! They must first have a conscience and politicians and corporate bigheads, don’t!
Thanks again, Dr. Bramhall!

You beat me to the punch! I read this yesterday, and was moved by this! I was also angered by the state government stooges, who are responsible for this crime against humanity!
Bless these activists!

The really important message for me is that activism is alive and well in the US – despite the best efforts of the corporate media to conceal it.

Yes, and this kind of activism is working outside of and against the system! Excellent!
