I doubt you’ll ever read this, and I really wish I didn’t have to write this, but I’m mad and I needed to get it off my chest, and I always articulate my thoughts best when I write.
When asked on Friday why so many young women support Bernie Sanders and not Hillary Clinton you said, and I quote, “When you’re young, you’re thinking: ‘Where are the boys? The boys are with Bernie.'” What is it that the youth say these days? Do they say that they can’t even? Well, I can’t even with that statement of yours.
I actually double-checked the news source to make sure I wasn’t reading The Onion, because I didn’t know why you would say that. It sounds like something a right-wing politician would say.

WOMEN NEVER DID STAY AT HOME, I REMEMBER GROWING UP THERE WERE WOMEN CASHIERS, NURSES, SOME DOCTORS, AND I DO NOT REMEMBER A MAN TRYING TO SELL ME A WOMAN’S UNDERWEAR PANTS WHEN I WENT TO THE STORE. I AM 62 YEARS OF AGE, AND GROWING UP, I SAW WOMEN EVERYWHERE WORKING, NOT TOO MANY MEN AT THAT TIME WERE TEACHING SCHOOL. I found it intriguing listening to Aron Russo about Nick Rockefeller C 1990s admitting in a few years theres going to be a big event and they will be looking for a guy in a cave but wont find him and will be having a war on terror …Its all going to be a scam. Interesting part was his admission of the womens movement in the 60s was engineered by varies Rockefeller ‘engines’. They wanted to get as much tax as possible given the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank is engineered to get this. Given the reserve bank hasnt been audited since its creation in 1913 it would be a double down I guess.

Good point, Cat. As I see it, Gloria Steinem and Ms Magazine were at the center of the “engineered” feminist movement – geared at emotionally blackmailing women into believing they had to work two full time jobs. What women should have been doing was protesting the loss of the family wage, which is essentially what forced them into the ghetto of the minimum wage labor market.

Steinem was just here in New Zealand this past week trying to pass herself off as an advocate for indigenous women’s rights. Given her staunch support for Hillary Clinton, Tu Tame Wahine, the Maori social service agency she approached said, “No thank you.”

Although I, too, profoundly disagree with Sanders’ foreign policy, I tend to support previously unengaged young people who are willing to mobilize for the domestic issues he articulates. In my experience, getting involved in the formal political system is usually the first step for young people – mainly because the mainstream media tells them it’s the only game in town. However once they become politically engaged, they begin to access new information and ways of thinking. It’s only then that they realize that the only way to make real change is by organizing and forming a mass movement.
