ISIS is one of the wealthiest terrorist groups in history, earning roughly $500 million from oil exports. Since Obama already knows where all the ISIS wells are, it seems ridiculously easy to put them out of commission by bombing them. Instead he concentrates his bombing raids on civilian infrastructure, such as power plants and water purification facilities. The charade of the US war against ISIS is wearing really thin, in the face of growing evidence Obama is using them as a proxy army to overthrow Assad.
Mr. Obama,
Oil wells have addresses.
Are you still pretending to fight ISIS, when you could, on any day, and at any time, have simply bombed the Islamic State oil wells and put them out of commission?
The NY Times claimed, in sycophantic fashion, that you are “struggling” on this question. I don’t personally believe that.
Struggling to Starve ISIS of Oil Revenue, U.S. Seeks Assistance From Turkey
“WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is struggling to cut off the millions of dollars in oil revenue that has made the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria one of the wealthiest terror groups in history, but so far has been unable to persuade Turkey, the NATO ally where much of the oil is traded on the black market, to crack down on an extensive sales network.”
The Times never once mentions the oil wells.
This is an oil well:

One only need view Werner Herzog’s Lessons of Darkness to see Kuwait’s ravaged oil fields post Gulf War 1 to know that the U.S. playbook had to be to keep ISIS oilfields intact. Why this happened, at a time when oil is near a 7 year low, is difficult to explain without the premise that the U.S. has been supporting ISIS all along.

You have an excellent point, PeaceFrog. You would think the US would want to push oil prices up to support the fracking industry.

Oil companies receive $103 for every dollar they donate in campaign contributions. This demonstrates why the U.S. should change to publicly financed elections. The Russians have done more bombing in the last month against ISIS than U.S. and NATO have in at least a year. I still think the U.S. likes to keep friends and enemies alike on their toes and destabilized. This is just what they like to do to domestic activists and other targets-it’s all COINTELPRO tactics.

This I believe, is why Putin has been waging war on ISIS. Putin is brilliantly exposing this entire ISIS lie.
They may have been an organization before, but ISIS now, is under the control of the agencies of this government.

Exactly. The U.S. government is more effective at hijacking social movements, domestic and international, than the mafia is at hijacking commercial trucks.

You betcha, sojourner. Which is why a lot of people suspect (covert or overt) US plane that blew up over the Sinai peninsula. According to the BBC, the British government thinks the Russian plane was brought down by an explosive device and has suspended all flights from Sharm el-Sheikh until they can nail down exactly what happened: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-34724604

Yes, I read about this the other day. And I have little doubt this government was behind this atrocity!
