US Role in Egypt, Ukraine, and Now Hong Kong Mass Protests*

Looks like Hong Kong’s Occupation Central is just another CIA-sponsored “color” revolution – just like Egypt, Ukraine, Serbia and a half dozen others. And we all know where “color” revolutions end – by installing US-friendly puppet governments.

US Role in Egypt, Ukraine, and Now Hong Kong Mass Protests*

Note, another BRIC country being destabilized/usurped…

By Tony Cartalucci

This article documents a US role in helping to build and direct the Occupy Central protests in Hong Kong. The US has become increasingly sophisticated in helping to build “democracy” movements in countries where the US is in conflict. Through groups like the National Endowment for Democracy, the National Republican Institute and the National Democratic Institute the US funnels money help create social movements that serve US interests. The protests in Hong Kong had many of the hallmarks of the types of protests the US helps to create and manage in other countries. No doubt there are many in Hong Kong who want democracy, but the US involvement confuses who Occupy Central represents. The exposure of the US role comes at a critical time in the Hong Kong revolt as…

  1. Isn’t it interesting that Russia allowed 5th column seditious organizations to express their treasonous views, and yet our own US Occupy movement was viciously disbanded by our strongarm police force. So how is it that we live in a Democracy? China will not tolerate dissention and foreign political interference.

What a joke! The White House has now officially backed “Occupy Central.” Reuters in its article, “White House Shows Support For Aspirations Of Hong Kong People.” Well what about the welfare and rights of it’s own citizens? The US has become an int’l laughing stock, and has zero credibility in foreign affairs.

While “universal suffrage” remains undefined in the law, Hong Kong citizens have interpreted it to mean genuine democracy. Little do they realize they will soon be controlled by a corporatocracy if the West has it’s way.

    Nice article!

  3. All is not as it seems, or more accurately to say: not as it is presented in the media.
Mass social unrest is trending globally because the globalists’ ponzi economy does what all ponzi schemes eventually does…
However, the top globalists know this and also have a plan to “reset” it in another region with a new public face of leadership (Russia, China, Singapore, Hong Kong?) when the USDollar is no longer the world’s reserve currency. In the past this “reset” transitioned from the public face of Europe to the public face of North America, where to next?
Covert influences of political opposition (and public demonstrations) exist in all nations and thus it matters not if the nation labels itself communist, socialist, capitalist, democratic, caliphate…
The People are indoctrinated to become citizens and thus controlled on national farms as human resource, as revenue streams, as cannon fodder in wars, as the GOVERNED…
The unseen hands of manipulation (surely offer their funds and young agents to “assist” all popular movements incl. Tea Party and Occupy) are vying for control as they “reset” with international monetary reforms.

Spread global awareness and nurture personal sovereignty with creative problem solving locally.
As awareness is amplified the globalists will lose their support from the People exercising their freedom creatively.

    • William Robinson makes many of these same points in his book Promoting Polyarchy. Globalization, US Intervention, and Hegemony. Robinson contends that the CIA knows that rebellion against US-supported dictatorships is inevitable. So they get involved to shape and even lead these rebellions to ensure that the new so-called “democracy” continues to be captive to US corporate interests.

I totally agree that the only way to resist this is to start locally with strong community organizations. I’m currently enrolled in a master class called “How Communities Awaken” and hope to gain some new skills (and at least do some networking) to help facilitate this process.

Thanks for the film trailer. I’ve never the Green Beautiful and look forward to watching it.

      • The movie is a fanciful comedy.
With the help of translators I edited portions to highlight what resonated with me as a profound message for the People on Earth.
One minute video clip, and the message about the future is clear.

  4. Nothing is like it seems. We become sceptical but can only reflect on Chomsky’s wise advice on news being manufactured.
You wonder how long we can keep on getting satisfaction from consuming . Doesn’t ennui take over? How many things can one buy to plug in and buzz. Aldi’s is bulging with every conceivable electric items, from chips fryers to nose hair trimmers, knife sharpeners, ham slicers. You name it, it is there.
Surely, there has to be something a bit more enlightening. Perhaps something that doesn’t rely on electricty or spending money?
Our nature strips are often cluttered by consumer items bulging over from inside the houses. Complete lounge suites, mattrasses, TV’s and brackets. One wheeled push bikes. Invalid chairs, commodes, lots of slimming and excercise equipment with giant fly-wheels still whirring. A mad world.

    • IMHO consuming is very unsatisfying at the deeply personal level, thus the growing level of “political suffering” (i.e (poverty, inequality, unemployment and the multiple crises involving housing, education transportation, drug abuse, binge drinking, family violence and at-risk youth

‘the official storyline as never “thinner.” ‘
Once the veil has been lifted on governments and their money masters (central bankers) the “official” deceptions become obvious everywhere we look. Greenspan, former Federal Reserve Chairman, chokes on trying to portray distinctions between lesser evils among financial terrorists in institutions:

  6. You recall reading http://ronmamita.wordpress.com/2014/10/03/argentina-kicking-out-central-bankster-clubmember-an-act-of-defiance/

Near the bottom of that discussion subject paragraph BRAZIL, I mentioned the unpopularity and the misleading political polls that reported incumbent Dilma as likely winner in upcoming elections.

Corporate media is reporting shock and amazement that 3rd place Aecio Neves has forced a runoff.

From dark horse 3rd place poll campaigner to runoff elections against the incumbent, WOW!

    “Nail-biter election throws Brazil’s Rousseff into a runoff vote…
incumbent Dilma Rousseff and pro-business rival Aecio Neves racing to win over supporters…
Latin America’s largest economy has been stuck in a rut for nearly four years under”…

My sense is the People at the grassroots in Argentina and Brazil has some surprise roles ahead in the global game of geopolitics and international monetary policies. Social unrest is high and on the surface…

      • We shall see.
I wonder what the Dilma government learned from the FIFA world Futbal protests?

The policy makers should have shifted funds into micro-small-entrepreneurs and social projects that increase the velocity of money, but likely more harsh enforcement, with greater security will be used against future public protests…
