Trump demands drug companies release data on COVID vaccines to the public

WASHINGTON — President Trump on Monday demanded drug companies make their data on the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines available to the public, suggesting that the “question” over whether the jab actually saved lives has “ripped apart” the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“It is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various Covid Drugs. Many people think they are a miracle that saved Millions of lives. Others disagree! With CDC being ripped apart over this question, I want the answer, and I want it NOW,” Trump wrote in a lengthy Truth Social post.

“I have been shown information from Pfizer, and others, that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public. Why not??? They go off to the next ‘hunt’ and let everyone rip themselves apart, including Bobby Kennedy Jr. and CDC, trying to figure out the success or failure of the Drug Companies Covid work.”

At least 70% of Americans have received both jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine as of 2025 — with over 711 million doses of the vaccine having been administered in the US, per the World Health Organization.

But the COVID shots, administered by Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson, were also criticized as early as 2021 for not preventing breakthrough infections, meaning some who received the vaccine still got the virus.

Trump rarely speaks about the pandemic other than to praise the development of the COVID vaccines, which he called a “Christmas miracle” as production was ramping up in December 2020 just before he left the White House.

Just 30% of Republicans now view the COVID jab as safe, while 55% of independents and 87% of Democrats do, a Kaiser Family Foundation poll found in May.

The president’s critics claim he wasn’t serious enough about the pandemic in the beginning, while even some of his supporters have criticized his initial approval of lockdowns in March 2020.

Vaccine science has recently upended relationships within the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), with Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. finding himself at odds with other officials after ending emergency authorization for COVID jabs and refining their eligibility standards to exclude most healthy adults and children.

CDC Director Susan Monarez was also fired on Wednesday after less than a month in the job. A White House official told the New York Times she was shown the door after it became clear her opinions on vaccines differed from those of Kennedy, who is a known vaccine skeptic.

Monarez’s lawyers Abbe Lowell and Mark Zaid argued that she was let go due to her unwillingness to fire other health officials and her support of vaccines.

“When CDC Director Susan Monarez refused to rubber-stamp unscientific, reckless directives and fire dedicated health experts, she chose protecting the public over serving a political agenda. For that, she has been targeted,” they said in a statement. “This is not about one official. It is about the systematic dismantling of public health institutions, the silencing of experts, and the dangerous politicization of science.”

The turmoil at HHS continued as other top CDC officials resigned in protest of Morarez losing her post, including Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, head of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, Dr. Dan Jernigan, head of the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, and chief medical officer Dr. Deb Houry.

Common painkillers like Advil and Tylenol supercharge antibiotic resistance

Science Daily

Ibuprofen and acetaminophen (paracetamol) are common over-the-counter medications that many of us reach for when we’re sick. But new research from the University of South Australia shows that these trusted staples are quietly fuelling one of the world’s biggest health threats: antibiotic resistance.

In the first study of its kind, researchers found that ibuprofen and acetaminophen are not only driving antibiotic resistance when used individually but amplifying it when used together.

Assessing the interaction of non-antibiotic medications, the broad-spectrum antibiotic ciprofloxacin, and Escherichia coli (E. coli) — a common bacteria that causes gut and urinary tract infections - researchers found that ibuprofen and acetaminophen significantly increased bacterial mutations, making E. coli highly resistant to the antibiotic.

It’s an important finding that has serious health implications, particularly for people in aged care homes, where multiple medications are regularly administered.

The World Health Organization reports that antimicrobial resistance is a global threat to public health, and that bacterial resistance was directly responsible for 1.27 million global deaths in 2019.

Lead researcher UniSA’s Associate Professor Rietie Venter says the findings raise important questions about the risks of polypharmacy in aged care.

“Antibiotics have long been vital in treating infectious diseases, but their widespread overuse and misuse have driven a global rise in antibiotic-resistant bacteria,” Assoc Prof Venter says.

“This is especially prevalent in residential aged care facilities, where older people are more likely to be prescribed multiple medications — not just antibiotics, but also drugs for pain, sleep, or blood pressure — making it an ideal breeding ground for gut bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics.

“In this study we looked at the effect of non-antibiotic medicines and ciprofloxacin, an antibiotic which is used to treat common skin, gut or urinary tract infections.

“When bacteria were exposed to ciprofloxacin alongside ibuprofen and acetaminophen, they developed more genetic mutations than with the antibiotic alone, helping them grow faster and become highly resistant. Worryingly, the bacteria were not only resistant to the antibiotic ciprofloxacin, but increased resistance was also observed to multiple other antibiotics from different classes.

“We also uncovered the genetic mechanisms behind this resistance, with ibuprofen and paracetamol both activating the bacteria’s defences to expel antibiotics and render them less effective.”

The study assessed nine medications commonly used in residential aged care: ibuprofen (an anti-inflammatory pain relief), diclofenac (an anti-inflammatory to treat arthritis), acetaminophen (paracetamol for pain and fever), furosemide (for high blood pressure), metformin (for high sugar levels linked to Diabetes), atorvastatin (to help lower cholesterol and fats in the blood), tramadol (a stronger pain medication post-surgery) , temazepam (used to treat sleeping problems), and pseudoephedrine (a decongestant).

Assoc Prof Venter says the study shows how antibiotic resistance is a more complex challenge than previously understood, with common non-antibiotic medications also playing a role.

“Antibiotic resistance isn’t just about antibiotics anymore,” Assoc Prof Venter says.

“This study is a clear reminder that we need to carefully consider the risks of using multiple medications — particularly in aged care where residents are often prescribed a mix of long-term treatments.

“This doesn’t mean we should stop using these medications, but we do need to be more mindful about how they interact with antibiotics — and that includes looking beyond just two-drug combinations.”

The researchers are calling for further studies into drug interactions among anyone on long-term medication treatment regimes so we can gain a greater awareness of how common medications may impact antibiotic effectiveness.

Tens of thousands attend funeral of Yemen’s PM, ministers assassinated by Israel

Massive crowds poured into Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, for the funeral of Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi and several ministers martyred in an Israeli strike last week.

The ceremony, held on Monday in Al-Sabeen Square, drew mourners from across the country. Amid the grief, attendees voiced steadfast solidarity with the Palestinian people, who have endured nearly 23 months of Israel’s genocidal war, despite the ongoing Israeli attacks on Yemen itself.

Mourners chanted slogans such as “God is Great, Death to America, Death to Israel,” as Mohammed Miftah, the acting Prime Minister of Yemen, stressed that the assassination of al-Rahawi and other ministers won’t succeed in destabilizing the foundations of the Yemeni state, and vowed revenge as well as an internal security crackdown against spies.

“We are facing the strongest intelligence empire in the world, the one that targeted the government, the whole Zionist entity (comprising) the US administration, the Zionist entity, the Zionist Arabs and the spies inside Yemen,” Miftah told the mourners at the al-Saleh mosque in al-Sabeen square, Reuters reported.

On Thursday, Israeli airstrikes on the Yemeni capital claimed the lives of Prime Minister al-Rahawi of the National Government of Change and Construction, and 12 other senior officials.

The Israeli airstrike, which also left several senior ministers wounded, marks a significant escalation in Israel’s ongoing military aggression against Yemen.

The Sana’a government was holding a routine workshop to assess its activities over the past year when it was targeted by Israeli warplanes.

Since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, Yemen’s forces have carried out scores of operations in support of the war-hit Gazans, striking targets throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to targeting Israeli ships or vessels heading towards ports in the occupied territories.

Israel launched a genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the regime’s decades-long campaign of death and devastation against the Palestinians.

The regime’s bloody onslaught on Gaza has so far killed more than 63,500 Palestinians, mostly children and women.

Departing CDC Leader Blasts RFK Jr. Over Bombshell COVID Vaccine Threat

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Debra Houry

The most senior official to quit the CDC in protest at the firing of its director has warned against Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s “dangerous” plan—revealed by the Daily Beast last week—that could ban the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine.

Debra Houry, chief medical officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and deputy director for program and science, abruptly quit last Wednesday along with three other top CDC officials.

That followed the firing of their boss, CDC director Susan Monarez, but the officials also complained about the health secretary’s refusal to engage on science and policy issues with experts from the public health agency.

In an interview with the Daily Beast following her resignation, Houry revealed her belief that RFK Jr. was taking his lead on immunization matters from the discredited anti-vax group he himself used to lead, Children’s Health Defense, rather than from experienced CDC physicians like herself.

When asked if she would be surprised to see Kennedy yank the COVID mRNA vaccine off the market altogether amid claims it is causing “vaccine injuries,” as reported by the Beast last Monday, Houry replied: “Maybe not, maybe not.”

Houry said she felt it would be “difficult” for the Trump administration to pull the jab altogether “right now,” because it still has approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA would, by law, have to prove the vaccines were unsafe.

But she added: “I think we have seen that policy decisions are sometimes made without science, and… there’s been a lot of things that I have been surprised at that have happened.”

Since March, the FDA has been headed up by Trump ally Marty Makary, who has questioned the necessity of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines in some cohorts of the U.S. population.

In May, he announced that the FDA would narrow eligibility to people over 65 or those at high risk, and compel manufacturers to undertake extensive studies to determine the benefits for children and healthy young adults. That came into effect last week, with the support of RFK Jr.

Houry said that if the government were to axe COVID mRNA vaccines altogether, it would see an increase in the deaths of the vulnerable—including babies.

“If all COVID vaccines were gone, that would be devastating. What we would see is older adults, or those with multiple medical conditions, or young babies, would be more likely to die,” she said.

“Right now, the COVID variants aren’t quite as virulent as earlier, and as a natural immunity in general, just with some of the exposure… is more protective. Right now, in the U.S., people haven’t been that sick with it.

“But that doesn’t mean that it wouldn’t happen. And so you want to make sure that you’re prepared. And if you don’t have vaccines, that’s dangerous.”

Following last week’s departure from the CDC of the five senior scientists, it was revealed that the federal agency responsible for vaccines had never briefed Kennedy, and that he had instead been receiving guidance from other, unnamed advisers.

One of them appears to be Aseem Malhotra, a controversial British cardiologist who is a senior medical adviser to the RFK Jr.-linked pressure group MAHA Action.

A personal friend of Kennedy, Malhotra told the Daily Beast last week that the Trump administration was planning to remove the COVID mRNA vaccine from the market “within months” due to claims surrounding levels of so-called “vaccine injuries,” which have been disputed by the scientific community.

Malhotra also revealed that in addition to RFK Jr., senior members of the Trump family—none of whom have any medical qualifications—were keen to see the vaccine banned.

Houry told the Beast there had been concerns among her and her CDC colleagues about who precisely they believed Kennedy had been taking guidance from.

She said: “I think the Children’s Health Defense is probably advising him, because Lyn Redwood, who [works for] HHS now, [is its] president emeritus.

“We [would] get questions sometimes from the department around different vaccine type[s]. And then we would look and see that the Children’s Health Defense had recently done a blog on something like that.”

The History of Bread

The History of Bread

OTR Food and History (2025)

Film Review

According to OTR, archeologists found the first evidence of bread making in 12,500 BC by the Natufians who were foragers and made flat breads from wild wheat, barley and rye flour and water.

It would be anther 3,500 years before the first grains were domesticated in the fertile crescent (emmer wheat, einkorn wheat and barley). All were easy to grow because they’re self-pollinating.

Around 1500 BC the Egyptians discovered how to make bread rise (sourdough). It was around this time independent cultures around the world developed their own unique breads. Sourdough Bread from the fertile crescent quickly spread to the Greeks, Etruscans, Assyrians and Central Asians.

In South America people made bread from corn and early Australians made it from millet. Bread is mentioned in Indian Vedic texts in 1500 BC. Mantou and mo bread appeared in China in 300 BC.

Throughout most of history bread was a staple for the peasants and a side dish for the gentry. Bread shortages in Greece (after the aristocracy confiscated all the grain for themselves) led to civil war and the ultimate collapse of the Greek empire. The Vandals’ invasion and occupation of Rome’s bread basket (North Africa) led to major flour shortages on the Italian peninsula, a principle causes of Rome’s collapse. Bread riots in France were a major impetus behind the French revolution.

Technology

The first water driven flour mills developed in Greece in the third century BC. The Romans introduced interlocking gears, which allowed grain mills to function in slow moving water. They also introduced animal powered mills. Mohamed’s father-in-law developed the first windmills in Persia in the 7th century AD.

Cake, Biscuits, English Muffins and Cookies

In Egypt, bread was dipped in honey a an offering to the gods, the origin of the first cake. By 800 BC honeyed bread appeared in Greece as baklava. In India, bakers began using sugar instead of honey in sweet bread. The English word cake derives from the Viking word kak meaning cake or cookie.

Biscuits date back to ancient Egypt where they were used a naval rations. Americans began making biscuits with the invention of baking powder in 1843.

English muffins first appeared in Wales in the mid 1700.

Cookies first appeared in Persia in the 7th century and spread to Spain with Muslim conquest

Pizza, Bagels and Donuts

Pizza first appeared in Italy in 997AD

Bagels first appeared in Poland in the 1800s.

Donuts were brought to New York in the 1800s, an adaptation of dough knots made in the Netherlands.

The Sandwich and the Baguette

The sandwich was invented by the Earl of Sandwich’s cook in the 18th century when the earl, while gambling at the Hell Fire Club, demanded a meal he could hold with one hand. As this was the start of the industrial revolution, it was also a convenient meal for factory workers who weren’t given meal breaks. This was facilitated by Dutch industrialists who began mass producing yeast (around 1780), which was less time consuming to deal with than sourdough.

French baguettes, which are steamed rather than baked, first appeared in Germany in the 18th century.

Woody Allen and Seymour Hersh Included in Ukraine’s Mirotvorets ‘Kill List’

Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh (left) and movie director Woodie Allen (right) are the new entries of US citizens in the controversial Ukrainian ‘kill list’.

Hersh and Allen are now targeted by Zelensky and his goons.

It seems that Americans have become fair game to the extremists embedded in or allied to Kiev regime.

The Mirotvorets ‘kill list’ has long been controversial, and at one point, Volodymyr Zelensky and his team have once been careful not to antagonize the US administration – but no more.

Over the years, many US citizens have been included, such as Tucker Carlson, Tulsi Gabbard, Henry Kissinger, Scott Ritter, Glenn Greenwald, Jeffrey Sachs…

The Mirotvorets website lists individuals deemed ‘enemies of Ukraine’, and it’s often labeled a ‘kill list’ due to its publication of personal information and instances where listed individuals were later assassinated.

This week, even as Ukraine’s defenses are crumbling on the frontlines, the goons at the Kiev regime are still including new names, such as Hollywood director Woody Allen and investigative journalist Seymour Hersh.

TASS reported:

“American filmmaker and screenwriter Woody Allen has been added to the database of Ukraine’s Mirotvorets extremist website, TASS has learnt.”

Allen was reportedly included in the list for appearing via video link in the Moscow film festival.

Slavyangrad reported:

“American director Woody Allen has been declared an enemy of Ukraine and added to the Nazi “Myrotvorets” database for ‘supporting Russian aggression’.

Now the world-famous director is listed as an enemy of the Kiev regime on the Nazi resource.”

“The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the director’s participation in the event is a disgrace and an insult to the Ukrainian actors and filmmakers who died in the war with Russia. Also, the screening of Allen’s musical ‘Bullets Over Broadway’ was canceled in Lvov.”

But Allen was not the only new addition to the list.

Slavyangrad reported:

“American investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has been placed on the “Mirotvorets” list.

He has repeatedly published articles critical of the Kiev regime. In July, he reported that Zaluzhny could replace Zelensky in the coming months.

Hersh, citing sources, stated that the sabotage of Nord Stream was ordered by Biden.”

RT reported:

“The renowned American journalist Seymour Hersh has been blacklisted by the radical Ukrainian portal Mirotvorets, where personal data of those who are considered enemies of Kiev is published.

It indicates that he was added to that base for allegedly participating ‘in acts of humanitarian aggression against Ukraine’.”

RFK Jr threatens to pull med school funding if they don’t address chronic diseases

RFK Jr [shown] and Education Secretary Linda McMahon are demanding American medical schools immediately incorporate mandatory nutrition courses or face cuts in federal funding

The federal departments of health and education are seeking major reforms to medical school curricula in the hopes of advancing the RFK Jr-led Make America Healthy Again initiative.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy, Jr and Linda McMahon, head of the Department of Education, are compelling American medical schools to ‘immediately’ add specialized nutrition classes to their required courses.

Schools, many of which have already begun classes for the academic year, have just two weeks to produce plans for introducing nutrition classes to their course catalogs or face major cuts to federal funding.

Secretary Kennedy said: ‘Medical schools talk about nutrition but fail to teach it.’

The pressure on schools is part of RFK Jr’s push to prioritize disease prevention over treatment and address what he has called a ‘chronic disease epidemic’ in the US, which has the world’s highest rates of obesity and lifelong health conditions.

The government initiative targets six critical points, from pre-med prerequisites in undergraduate education and medical school curricula to the national licensing exams, residency program requirements, board certification standards and continuing education courses for practicing doctors.

Research published in 2023 revealed a significant gap in focused nutrition education. A survey of medical students showed that about 60 percent had never been offered a nutrition course during their medical school education.

RFK Jr added: ‘We demand immediate, measurable reforms to embed nutrition education across every stage of medical training, hold institutions accountable for progress, and equip every future physician with the tools to prevent disease — not just treat it.’

The US is experiencing near-record high obesity rates, an ever-growing rate of new cancers diagnosed in young people, projected spikes in neurodegenerative diseases, and persistently high diabetes and heart disease rates.

McMahon said in a statement: ‘US medical education has not kept up with the overwhelming research on the role of nutrition in preventing and treating chronic diseases.

‘Medical schools across the country must act now to align their training with the latest research so that future physicians have the means to best help their patients stay healthy.’

Nutrition experts have persistently campaigned for medical schools to expand their nutrition curriculum, with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), which represents 173 US and Canadian medical schools, stating: ‘Increased attention could be afforded to nutrition topics such as the environmental impact of food production and choices on health, food labels and the health impacts of ingredients, and community food resources.’

Nearly 90 percent of all US medical schools include nutrition content in their curricula, but the instruction students receive is generally insufficient.

A 2015 study found that only 27 percent of schools provided the requisite 25 hours of nutrition education, as per the National Academy of Sciences and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.

A 2023 study found that fewer than eight percent of medical school students reported receiving 20 or more hours of nutrition education over four years.

Some of the chronic conditions that are most common in the US include diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. Obesity, rates for which are highest in the US, is a major risk factor for a range of chronic diseases

The above graph shows the change in early-onset cancer rates around the world split by female (pink) and male (blue)

Furthermore, data show that 75 percent of US medical schools have no required specific clinical nutrition classes in their curricula.

To address this critical gap, the federal government is proposing a strategy that would impose nutrition education requirements across a doctor’s academic career.

The nutritional knowledge gap appears most acute among the specialists treating conditions where diet plays a critical role, including endocrinologists, cardiologists, oncologists and nephrologists, according to Duke University researchers.

They cited a 2017 study that found 90 percent of subspecialists received little to no formal nutrition education during their fellowship training, with 59 percent reporting a similar deficit during residency.

A lack of foundational training has a direct impact on clinical practice.

A separate survey at NYU Langone Health revealed that, consequently, only 14 percent of healthcare providers felt confident discussing nutrition with their patients.

‘In addition, we immediately need to address the critical shortage of physician nutrition specialists who will serve as the next generation of leaders in clinical nutrition care and research,’ Duke researchers added.

Expanded nutrition education in medical schools has significant support among doctors.

The obesity rate among American adults increased from 21.2 percent in 1990 to 43.8 percent in 2022 for women and 16.9 percent to 41.6 percent for men

If an expected upward trend in new diabetes diagnoses comes to fruition, the US could see a nearly 700 percent increase in type 2 diabetes cases in people younger than 20

Dr Jo Marie Reilly, a professor at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, Dr David Eisenberg, a professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a cadre of other doctors published a recommendation in JAMA Network Open last year for a national curriculum, which would involve 36 ‘nutritional competencies’ for medical students to meet.

RFK Jr set a lofty goal for his tenure six months ago: to reverse the chronic disease epidemic in America. Yet the federal government has pulled funding for key projects aimed at reducing chronic disease.

The Trump administration’s proposal to eliminate the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, along with its $1.4 billion in annual funding, is among the most consequential of its efforts to scale back federal public health initiatives.

The National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion houses programs to track and prevent diabetes in children, adolescents, and young adults, heart disease and stroke, and cancer, as well as risk factors including obesity and tobacco use.

US-Funded Riots Target Indonesia (or, NED is Alive and Well…)

Indonesia riots: Six dead, 200 injured in protests over election result ...

US-Funded Riots Target Indonesia (or, NED is Alive and Well…)

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said in May during the Singapore-based Shangri La Dialogue the US would focus more on the, “Indo-Pacific” region after years of distractions waging war and regime change elsewhere around the globe.

Since then, there has been a border war between Thailand and Cambodia precipitated by US-backed politicians on both sides of the border, and now violent “student protests” in Indonesia similar to US-sponsored riots in Hong Kong and Thailand in recent years.

Known Western government funded (including US NED-funded) media organizations, “rights groups,” and others (like Remotivi, Project Multatuli and Jakarta Legal Aid) in Indonesia are openly backing the protests and attacking the current government.

Sources: Project Multatuli admits on its site collaboration with Open Society and a variety of NED-adjacent funding tools used by the US for political interference worldwide: Collaborations

Remotivi and Project Multatuli are both mentioned as being disrupted by temporary NED funding freezes earlier this year: ‘Without us, no scrutiny’: Indonesia’s independent media count cost of US funding cuts

Their social media presence has spent the duration of the protests condemning the government and police and encouraging unrest. The same formula of violent protests forcing police responses, leading to injured or dead protesters, thus increasing the size and violence of the protests is in motion. The same US color revolution gimmicks – using colors, flags, pop culture symbols for protest branding are also being used. In Thailand it was the “Hunger Games” and “Harry Potter,” in Indonesia, the BBC boasts of “One Piece” pirate flags being flown.

The goal at best is to install a client regime willing to transform Indonesia into a Ukraine-style battering ram against China, and at a minimum, destabilize the nation and reduce its utility in both China’s and all of Asia’s rise.

Germany blocks EU sanctions on Israel

RT

Germany has blocked the European Commission’s latest proposal to sanction Israel over the war in Gaza, Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has said.

Israel has faced a growing backlash over its conduct in the conflict, and has been accused of allowing almost no aid into the enclave. Several Western states have announced plans to recognize Palestine as a state, and in some cases, scale back military and trade cooperation with Israel.

The European Commission last week proposed suspending Israel’s participation in the Horizon Europe research program, cutting off funding for Israeli start-ups in drone technology, cybersecurity, and AI. This was intended to pressure Israel to improve humanitarian aid deliveries, according to a draft resolution.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an EU meeting in Copenhagen on Saturday, Wadephul said Germany rejected the plan, as it was “not convinced” that curbing Israel’s access to EU research funds would influence its military action. Instead, he noted that Berlin has already restricted the delivery of weapons that can be used in Gaza, suggesting Brussels should focus on similar steps.

“I believe this is a very targeted measure, one that is very important and very necessary,” he said.

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas acknowledged on Saturday that the bloc is divided on the issue, and that she is “not very optimistic” that ministers will reach an agreement soon, even though it does not require full unanimity. She added that some states want stronger economic pressure.

Denmark, which holds the EU’s rotating presidency, recently signaled support for tougher sanctions, such as suspending trade with Israel. Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares and his Slovenian counterpart, Tanja Fajon, have condemned the EU’s inaction over Gaza. Fajon told Bloomberg this week that the bloc has not imposed “a single measure” against Israel, contrasting it with the bloc’s unity in sanctioning Russia over the Ukraine conflict.

The Gaza conflict began in 2023 when Hamas militants attacked Israel, killing around 1,200 people and taking more than 250 hostages. Since then, Israeli forces have killed more than 61,000 people in the enclave. A UN-backed panel earlier this month declared that there is a famine in northern Gaza, with over half a million people on the brink of starvation.

Is Trump Administration Special Envoy Paolo Zampolli Behind the Epstein Files Cover-up?

Comments by Brian Shilhavy
Editor, Health Impact News

Whitney Webb and Mark Goodwin have just published an explosive new investigative report into Paolo Zampolli, President Trump’s Special Envoy for Global Partnerships today in his administration.

Could this special “envoy” be the main person in the current Trump Administration who pressured Trump into doing a 180° turn on releasing the Epstein files?

This is the question that Whitney and Mark explore as they uncover the past of this Italian-born former model agency owner who entered politics by first serving at the United Nations to support some of their global initiatives, and is now working in the Trump Administration under a new title in the Federal Government as “Special Envoy for Global Partnerships.”

Global “partnerships” for what? Child sex trafficking?

Given Zampolli’s connections in the past to Jeffrey Epstein and many others who were associates to Epstein, such as Ghislaine Maxwell and the Clintons, it is entirely possible.

When Trump and his MAGA base try to refute the claim that Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania to Trump, they claim it was Paolo Zampolli instead, as if there is much of a difference.

As Whitney and Mark report, Zampolli seems to be an Italian mob-type of figure who is “untouchable.”

Paolo Zampolli’s appointment to a new government position seemingly made just for him should be the subject of increased scrutiny, not just due to Zampolli’s affiliations to the broader network of Epstein, Brunel and Maxwell, but also due to the decades of covert and corrupt wheeling-and-dealing that has marked his career in real estate, in “diplomacy” and now in U.S. foreign and trade policy.

It is truly remarkable that, despite all that this investigation has documented, Zampolli has never been investigated or charged for criminal activity. He appears oddly protected from scrutiny.

This is true also for the press, especially considering so many outlets would presumably jump at the chance to un-earth the deep corruption of the man that Trump and Melania say introduced them, especially when confronted with the assertion that it had been Jeffrey Epstein.

Paolo Zampolli is truly an ambassador for one thing — brazen corruption in the global power structure. The fact that he would be given a special role involving foreign trade and partnerships in the current administration by Trump is mind-boggling — at least if you take Trump’s political rhetoric at face value.

Here are some more excerpts from this excellent report.

First Friends: How the First Couple’s Consigliere Went From Modeling Mogul to Special Envoy

by Mark Goodwin and by Whitney Webb
Unlimited Hangout

Unlimited Hangout investigates how Paolo Zampolli became a recent Trump appointee despite his past of servicing corrupt, predatory and globalist ambitions targeting the world’s oceans, facilitating fraud, and aiding citizenship-by-investment scams. The answer appears to lie in Zampolli’s long-standing ties to the president, his wife, and key co-conspirators of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

Excerpts:

The Trump administration’s dramatic reversal with respect to the Jeffrey Epstein case continues to confuse and enthrall, with President Trump still doubling down that the entire “Epstein thing” is a “Democrat hoax.”

While Democrats certainly have sought to take advantage of the situation for partisan ends, the reversal in rhetoric –– particularly after transparency in the Epstein case was made an important part of Trump’s 2024 campaign –– has seemingly defied explanation.

Indeed, the timing of the reversal, which occurred after a protracted delay and then final reneging on releasing files about the case, has been hard for many to swallow.

Amid the fall-out from the administration’s about-face, the Trump administration has sought to mitigate the failure to “release the files” by publishing interviews with Ghislaine Maxwell (who has been desperately seeking a pardon or commuted sentence) and by issuing subpoenas to Bill and Hillary Clinton, a clear effort to divert “transparency” in the case into something more politically favorable to Republicans.

However, as posited in Unlimited Hangout’s series “First Friends,” Trump’s effort to alter the narrative around the Epstein case may be aimed at shielding, not only potentially himself, but people in his close social circle, including at least one figure currently serving in his administration.

That figure, Paolo Zampolli –– the administration’s current Special Envoy for Global Partnerships –– is the subject of this investigation.

In Part I of this series, we met one of Trump’s closest friends from Italy: Flavio Briatore, a P2 lodge and Italian mafia-linked businessman with ties to prominent Victoria’s Secret Angels, at least one of whom he introduced to Epstein.

In this second installment, the connections of Zampolli, another Italian close to both Trump and Briatore, are the focus.

Zampolli has been in the news recently, not for the backdoor wheeling-and-dealing of his new, official U.S. government post, but because Trump and his wife Melania claim to have been first introduced by Zampolli amid assertions to the contrary that claim it had been Epstein.

As this investigation will show, Zampolli is deeply corrupt.

From his beginnings as a protégé for the controversial modeling mogul John Casablancas, a man known for his appetite for what he called “child women,” Zampolli grew his modeling empire with money from Silvio Berlusconi, the corrupt Italian Prime Minister (and close friend of Flavio Briatore) who was forced to resign for his sexual escapades with minors while in office.

Zampolli would later follow Casablanca’s example and marry his wife when she was 19, having met her not long after she had flown as an under-age teen on Epstein’s “Lolita Express.”

After leaving the world of modeling to work for Donald Trump in the early 2000s, Zampolli would become closely affiliated with the Clintons as well as the United Nations, where he worked on their climate change initiatives and on the development of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs.

In particular, Zampolli was part of the team that developed SDG 14 “Life Under Water” alongside Stuart Beck, a figure closely tied to CIA regime change operations in Palau, as well as none other than Ghislaine Maxwell and her TerraMar project.

Yet, that is not all Zampolli would accomplish at the UN, as he would figure prominently in a major UN financing scandal and also boasted close ties to suspect citizenship-by-investment schemes that would later see one of his close colleagues arrested and another dead under exceedingly bizarre circumstances.

Those colleagues had been taking bribes from an organized crime and CCP-linked Chinese billionaire who was once at the center of the scandal that directly intersects with most of Jeffrey Epstein’s seventeen visits to the Clinton White House.

Once Trump would take office as president, Zampolli attempted to re-brand so he could become a close ally of the president, despite continuing to promote overtly globalist UN policies that ostensibly run counter to Trump’s “populist” campaigns in 2016, 2020 and 2024.

Zampolli would see some minor appointments in Trump’s first term, though he would instead mainly play roles in both a major UN scandal and in the Harvey Weinstein scandal during that time.

More recently, a less impeded Zampolli was appointed to a special envoy position, one where he –– behind the scenes –– makes the kind of backdoor deals that have marked his entire career in the name of ginning up Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and forging trade deals, especially in his native country of Italy.

As an example of the reach of his behind-the-scenes influence, Zampolli was originally the mind that came up with the idea of “resolving” the Israel-Palestine conflict by turning the Gaza Strip into a “Riviera” resort, years before such a plan was uttered by his current boss Donald Trump or Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

The story of Paolo Zampolli is ultimately an indictment of how political corruption, typified by the Epstein case and other scandals, is so often bipartisan despite media attempts to paint only one party as sleaze, depending on a person’s preferred echo chamber.

If the American people were to realize that the both public faces of the power structure of their country is corrupt, the Trump administration’s failure to produce files on the Epstein case would quickly make much more sense.
