Trump: Gaza Deal Near

Gaza deal near – Trump

RT

The US president has struck an optimistic note after the Israeli PM vowed to eliminate Hamas in the Palestinian enclave

US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that a deal on ending the war in Gaza is close, but without providing any details.

His comments came just hours after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the UN General Assembly he would “finish the job” of eliminating Hamas in the enclave.

“I think we have maybe a deal on Gaza, and very close to a deal on Gaza, it’s looking like we have a deal,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday.

Trump and Netanyahu are planning to meet in Washington on Monday.

”I think it’s a deal that will get the hostages back. It’s going to be a deal that will end the war,” Trump added.

Earlier this week, Trump and senior US officials presented a 21-point peace plan to Arab and Islamic leaders, the president’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff said at the UNGA. The plan calls for a permanent ceasefire, the release of all hostages, new governance for Gaza without Hamas, and a phased Israeli withdrawal, according to media sources.”I think it addresses Israeli concerns and, as well, the concerns of all the neighbors in the in the region,” Witkoff said. “And we’re hopeful, and I might say, even confident, that in the coming days, we’ll be able to announce some sort of breakthrough.”

Trump’s position on the future of Gaza has not been consistent. In March, Trump said that “nobody is expelling any Palestinians” from the enclave, but later in May, he reiterated his desire for the US to take over the territory and “make it a freedom zone,” urging residents to leave.

However, ahead of Netanyahu’s UN speech on Friday, Trump said he would not allow the annexation of the occupied West Bank, rejecting calls from some far-right politicians in Israel who want to extend sovereignty over the area. “It’s not going to happen,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office, adding: “There’s been enough. It’s time to stop now.”

Netanyahu signed a controversial West Bank settlement expansion plan this month.

US President Donald Trump said Thursday that he will not allow Israel to annex the occupied West Bank, drawing a rare red line over Israel’s actions in the Palestinian territory.

Trump’s comments came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in New York for the United Nations General Assembly Wednesday and to meet with the president.

“I will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank. Nope, I will not allow it. It’s not going to happen,” Trump said in the Oval Office, acknowledging that he had spoken to Netanyahu earlier in the day on the topic.

“It’s been enough. It’s time to stop now,” he added.

His remarks signal an alignment with many Western and Arab nations, which have warned that any Israeli annexation of the territory would effectively kill the idea of a Palestinian state. The Trump administration has become increasingly isolated internationally, including among key allies, over the possibility of establishing a Palestinian state and in its defense of Israel’s destruction of Gaza, which has been described as genocide by an independent United Nations inquiry.

Trump’s declaration also came after his administration on Tuesday proposed to Arab leaders a 21-point plan to end the war in Gaza, which led to an exchange of ideas among the leaders over how to agree on a final proposal that could potentially bring an end to the conflict, according to a senior administration official and regional sources familiar with the matter.

The plan that the US proposed included a number of points that the administration has made publicly, including the release of all Israeli hostages held by Hamas, and a permanent ceasefire, according to a separate source briefed on the matter. It also outlined a framework for how Gaza can be governed without Hamas and included a proposal for Israel to gradually withdraw from the enclave, the source said.

While regional leaders endorsed large parts of Trump’s plan, they made a series of points that they wanted to be included in any final plan for Gaza, including no annexation of the West Bank by Israel, a regional diplomat told CNN. Other requests included maintaining the status quo for Jerusalem, ending the war in Gaza and bringing back all the hostages, increased humanitarian aid to Gaza and addressing Israel’s illegal settlements, the diplomat said.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, who attended the meeting with Trump, told reporters on Thursday that he believes the president understands “very well the risks and dangers of annexation in the West Bank.”

“What I can say about the meeting with President Trump, which I think was a very important meeting, is that the Arab and Muslim countries made very clear to the president the danger of annexation of any type in the West Bank,” he said, adding that annexation poses risks not just to “the potential of peace in Gaza, but also to any sustainable peace at all.”

Israel intensifies West Bank operations

The West Bank, which lies west of the Jordan River between Israel and Jordan, has been occupied by the Israeli military since 1967 and is home to more than 3.3 million Palestinians.

The Israeli government has discussed the possibility of annexing all or part of the territory, and far-right ministers have pushed for a complete annexation. Israel has built more roadblocks and installed dozens of iron gates across the territory, making movement difficult inside.

Since the Hamas-led attacks of October 7, 2023, the Israeli military has intensified operations across the West Bank, targeting Palestinian militant cells, imposing checkpoints, and cutting communities off from the outside world.

There has also been an escalation in Israeli settler attacks and land grabs in the territory. On Monday, Netanyahu said his country has “doubled Jewish settlements” in the West Bank – considered illegal under international law – and “will continue on this path.”

This week, Israel made the sudden decision to indefinitely close the sole land crossing between the West Bank and Jordan, the main route to exit the territory – and to access international travel – without having to enter Israel.

As Israel mulls annexation, its forces have pushed deeper into Gaza City, with geolocated images from Tuesday showing tanks now in the west of the territory’s largest city, in an area known as Beach Camp. Hundreds of thousands of people remain in the city, unable or unwilling to move south as ordered by the Israeli military.

Annexation would ‘end’ Abraham Accords

French President Emmanuel Macron foreshadowed Trump’s stance on Wednesday, telling French media that annexation of the West Bank would be a “red line” for the United States and would mark the end of the Abraham Accords.

From his conversation with Trump earlier in the week, Macron said the US president was clear that “Europeans and Americans are on the same page” on the topic.

“It would also be the end of the Abraham Accords, which was one of the success stories from Trump’s first administration. The United Arab Emirates were very clear on it and I think it’s a red line for the USA,” Macron said in an interview with France24.

The UAE was the main signatory of the landmark 2020 Abraham Accords agreement, under which Israel normalized relations with three Arab nations. The nation has since said Israeli annexation of the West Bank would be a “red line” that would “end the pursuit of regional integration.”

Netanyahu this month signed a controversial West Bank settlement expansion plan, including E1, a project to build thousands of new homes that would effectively cut the West Bank in two.

The E1 plan had been frozen for decades in the face of international opposition, since it would make a contiguous Palestinian state with a capital in East Jerusalem virtually impossible.

The plan to develop E1 was approved last month, with far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich saying it had “erased” the idea of a Palestinian state. Smotrich presented the move as Israel’s response to the recent wave of countries announcing their intention to recognize a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu has not said publicly what he intends to do, but in a video statement on Sunday evening he said that Israel’s response would come after his meeting with Trump in New York.

US Business Community Demands End to Anti-Russian Sanctions, “Resumption of Mutually Beneficial Trade with Moscow

By Lucas Leiroz de Almeida
September 22, 2025

The US business community is beginning to demand that the US government review its sanctions policy against Russia. American businesses are interested in regaining their share of the lucrative Russian market, which is why they are demanding a ban on all illegal coercive measures imposed during the Joe Biden administration.

Robert Agee, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, stated in a recent interview that the end – or at least the suspension – of sanctions is a fundamental condition for the return of American companies to Russia. He made it clear that American businesses are unhappy with the current restrictions, especially regarding the ban on investment in Russia.

Agee confirmed that the American business lobby is in favor of resuming mutually beneficial trade ties with Moscow. To achieve this, it is necessary to revoke the 2022 executive order signed by then-President Joe Biden prohibiting American citizens and companies from investing in businesses on Russian soil. While almost all sanctions are circumventable in some way, the investment ban is a more serious problem for Americans, as it is difficult for them to conceal their investments dealings abroad – and they obviously do not want to become illegal within their own country.

“The first, maybe the most necessary thing to cancel, is the investment ban. It greatly hinders not only companies that would like to return, but also those that remained,” he said.

Agee also commented on some other problems in current bilateral economic relations. The lack of an efficient banking system for money transfers is an issue that still significantly hinders Russian-American trade. Russia’s expulsion from SWIFT in response to the special military operation was met by Moscow with de-dollarization measures, which Washington obviously doesn’t tolerate. At the same time, SWIFT is based in Belgium and falls under EU, not US, jurisdiction – which significantly complicates negotiations, as European countries are reluctant to resume diplomacy with Russia.

One alternative would be for the US to engage in a banking system project directly with Russia, but this would only be possible by establishing fair monetary conditions, respecting Russia’s interest in reducing dependence on the dollar. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that US authorities would agree to participate in such a project.

Despite these concerns, Agee emphasized that American companies are eager to return to Russia. US investors see Russia as a promising market with significant profitable business opportunities. As one of the world’s main economies, with a large emerging middle class and increasingly high purchasing power, as well as an extremely strong industrial and infrastructure base, Russia appears to be an ideal investment destination for many Americans, who are prevented from pursuing their plans due to the unfair list of sanctions and restrictions imposed by the previous administration.

Even so, Agee believes there is now a more positive prospect on this issue. He asserts that dialogue is possible and that the US is willing to resume some partnerships with the Russians. It’s worth remembering that Trump previously stated that he believed in the possibility of a full restoration of relations. Similarly, US Vice President J.D. Vance has already stated that he opposes attempts to “isolate” Russia and supports the resumption of productive bilateral relations. If this type of more diplomatic mindset becomes the majority among authorities, there will certainly be some changes in the near future.

In fact, it’s possible that Trump, being a businessman himself, has a genuine interest in ending the restrictive measures. More than that, he serves the interests of many representatives of the business lobby who want to return to making money in the Russian market. However, his position is delicate, as he needs to please different groups in the country – including those pro-war elites interested in damaging the entire economy just to favor the defense sector and promote NATO’s globalist agendas. Trump apparently fears criticism or persecution if he engages too deeply into ties with Russia, which is why the situation is taking so long to change.

However, if Trump wants to maintain his popularity, he will need to fulfill his previous promises – which included normalization with Russia and diplomacy for peace. Resuming trade ties is an important step toward any diplomatic restoration, so Trump will definitely need to work toward that. In fact, not everything depends on him. Returning to SWIFT depends on cooperation with the Europeans, for example. But this is not a priority, as it is possible to create alternative payment mechanisms. The main thing to do is simply lift the investment ban. If Trump can do this soon, he will be achieving a major political victory.

Japan Confirms Over 600,000 Citizens Killed by COVID ‘Vaccines’

Chilling news is emerging from Japan as the nation’s leading experts have uncovered explosive evidence linking skyrocketing excess deaths to Covid mRNA “vaccines.”

A grassroots coalition, United Citizens for Stopping mRNA Vaccines, has forced the release of official vaccination records for 21 million Japanese citizens through a series of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

The records include vaccination dates, batch numbers, and post-vaccine death reports.

The results are devastating.

Professor Murakami of Tokyo Science University, a respected scientist, analyzed the data and uncovered a consistent, alarming pattern:

   • A surge in deaths occurred 90–120 days after injection.

   • Those who received multiple doses saw earlier and steeper death spikes, suggesting cumulative toxicity.

   • Murakami estimates that 600,000–610,000 Japanese citizens have been killed by the “vaccines.”

This figure is eerily consistent with Japan’s excess death statistics.

Because these deaths typically happen months after the jab, doctors rarely connect them to the shots, allowing health officials to hide the carnage in plain sight.

The United Citizens coalition revealed the shocking findings during a press conference, blasting government health bureaucrats for ignoring the mounting evidence.

By dragging out timelines and obscuring cause-of-death data, the medical establishment has been able to wave away vaccine-linked fatalities while excess mortality soars to unprecedented levels.

Murakami’s findings confirm what independent researchers have long warned: the danger isn’t just immediate adverse events, it’s the delayed, cumulative damage silently eroding public health months after the shots.

The findings come as the pharmaceutical industry pushes forward with its latest self-replicating mRNA shot, or “replicon vaccine.”

Meanwhile, Japan’s public has clearly had enough.

Despite the rollout of 4.2 million doses last October, fewer than 10,000 were administered.

That’s a microscopic 0.24% uptake rate, signaling a total collapse in public trust.

In fact, over 100,000 Japanese citizens have signed petitions demanding an immediate halt to all mRNA “vaccine” programs.

According to reports, the replicon injection by Meiji Seika Pharma has shown even higher rates of adverse reactions and deaths than the original Pfizer and Moderna products.

The backlash has gotten so intense that the pharmaceutical giant has launched a lawsuit against Congressman Kazuhiro Haraguchi and others who dared to speak out.

Haraguchi, a vocal critic of the program, revealed he developed lymphoma following vaccination, with spike proteins found in his lymphatic tissue.

Meanwhile, Japan’s health authorities have failed to address the 90–120-day death spike now evident in one of the most extensive datasets ever released.

The silence is deafening, and the implications are global.

This 21-million-record release isn’t some Internet rumor.

It’s a forensic blueprint exposing what may be the most dangerous mass medical experiment in history.

The citizen-led group, boasting 70,000 supporters and 3,000 active volunteers, is now pushing for global collaboration to stop the next wave of mRNA experimentation, including an mRNA-based flu shot slated for fall 2025.

The group’s vaccine database is being translated into English and will soon be open to researchers worldwide.

In a time when governments refuse to investigate or even acknowledge what’s happening, it’s up to citizen scientists and brave whistleblowers to expose the truth.

Japan’s warning to the world is clear: the spike in post-vaccine deaths is real, the rollout of next-gen experimental vaccines must stop, and those responsible for suppressing the truth must be held accountable.

The release of these records represents one of the largest real-world datasets ever exposed.

It’s now clear that the official narrative of “safe and effective” cannot survive serious scrutiny.

Japan’s public health crisis is finally coming into focus.

The data confirms that far from saving lives, the mRNA program may have caused one of the greatest public health disasters in modern history.

Is Climate Agenda Really a Depopulation Agenda?

How 'facts' are being made to fit the agenda | Herald Sun

Rhoda Wilson

This article is a re-print. We originally published this article on 10 October 2024.

On Tuesday, The Guardian reported that a group of “expert” climate scientists have said Earth’s “vital signs” have hit record extremes, indicating that “the future of humanity hangs in the balance.”

The Guardian was referring to the ‘The 2024 state of the climate report’ published in the journal BioScience.  It’s an annual report. If you scroll down to the ‘acknowledgement’ section it’s clear the purpose of the report is to encourage more people to sign the Alliance of World Scientists’ “The World Scientists’ Warning of a Climate Emergency paper (Ripple et al. 2020).”  Which is mentioned again in the ‘supplementary data’.

The “report” from a “group of expert climate scientists” is unashamedly an activist outreach.  Rather than recognise this, The Guardian amplified the “report.”

The Guardian gave its highlights of the “report” which demonstrates that the climate agenda and the depopulation agenda are indeed the same agenda:

To the last sentence in the quote from The Guardian, The Byte adds “On top of the large amounts of deforestation required to farm some of them.”  The Byte of course didn’t mention the deforestation being done to accommodate wind turbines or solar panels; the 17 million trees cut down since 2000 to develop “renewable” “green” wind farms in Scotland, for example.  Or Bill Gates’ project to cut down trees and bury them.  No.  It is only deforestation for farming that is mentioned.

[…]

Human Population Increasing

The figure of 200,000 for the daily increase in the human population comes from The World Scientists’ Warning of a Climate Emergency paper (Ripple et al. 2020), the same paper ‘The 2024 state of the climate report’ wants more people to sign in response to their “report.”

Unsurprisingly, William J. Ripple, from the Department of Forest Ecosystems and Society at Oregon State University (hardly an “expert climate scientist”) and the director of the Alliance of World Scientists, is the lead author of both the 2020 paper and the 2024 report. He’s not the only author the two documents have in common.

[…]

We shall from now on refer to the “report” The Guardian publicised as “Ripple’s report” and the paper/declaration the “group of expert climate scientists” want others to sign as “Ripple’s paper.”

On Oregon State University’s ‘Alliance of Scientists’ page, is a condensed version of Ripple’s paper for people to sign.  The full paper is behind a paywall; most signatories will not have had the benefit of reading it.

Embedded at the end of the condensed version and immediately after a request to donate to their project, the page provides a hyperlink to ‘Global Human and Livestock/Methane Counters and Emissions Trackers’.

One of the “counters and emissions trackers” is the ‘Global Human and Ruminant Livestock Counter’, the only one to include humans, all the others relate to livestock.  Explaining how the counter is increasing in supposedly real time, it states: “Human population was predicted using the FAOSTAT [Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations] projected population for 2020 and 2021. A constant rate of growth over this periodwas assumed. Ruminant population size was predicted using FAOSTAT world livestock data from 1961-2019.”

[…]

How Accurate is Ripple’s Population Estimate?

Ripple writes as if the population increasing by 200,000 per day is a fact, even though it is an estimate of a 3-year-old projection.  So, what is the world’s population and is it increasing by 200,000 people a day?  The truth is no one knows. The United Nations (“UN”) doesn’t know, neither does Ripple, Carrington nor The Guardian.

[…]

Here are some of the reasons why attempts to estimate the global population cannot be made with any accuracy:

  • Historical population data before the 18th century are scarce and often based on rough estimates.
  • Different organisations and researchers may employ distinct methodologies, different assumptions and different data sources to estimate population sizes, leading to variations in the numbers.
  • The accuracy of population estimates relies heavily on the quality of underlying data, such as census records, vital statistics and surveys. In many developing countries, data collection and recording systems may be incomplete, inaccurate or unreliable. Many countries, especially in Africa and Asia, do not conduct regular censuses or provide reliable population estimates.
  • Population estimates are typically reported to the nearest million or billion, which means that the actual figure may be significantly different from the reported value.
  • Future population projections are subject to even greater uncertainties, as they rely on assumptions about demographic trends, fertility rates, mortality rates and migration patterns. Small changes in these assumptions can result in significant differences in projected population sizes.
  • Population estimates and projections may vary significantly across regions and countries, due to differences in demographic trends, data quality and methodology.

Putin: Russia rejects ‘technological colonialism’

Russia rejects ‘technological colonialism’ – Putin

RT

Moscow aims to share its innovative atomic energy technology but does not strive to make partner countries dependent on Russia’s solutions, President Vladimir Putin said during his address to the Global Atomic Forum on Thursday.

“We reject so-called technological colonialism,” Putin stated, stressing that Russia wants to help countries develop their own sovereign nuclear industries by training personnel, engaging with local energy companies, assisting in power unit operation and ensuring nuclear supplies and waste management.

Nuclear energy is a key clean energy source amid rising global demand, driven in part by artificial intelligence and large-scale data processing, Putin said, adding that Russia is already creating modular data processing systems at nuclear plants, which provide steady power supply for such technologies.

The president highlighted that atomic power is a cornerstone of green technologies, outperforming other energy sources in cost, environmental safety, and stability.

As the only country with full-cycle nuclear capabilities, Russian-designed plants are among the most reliable and sought-after worldwide, he noted. Putin also confirmed that the country is moving toward serial production of small land-based and floating nuclear power plants.

Safety remains a top priority, calling for reinforced standards at every stage of the nuclear cycle from uranium mining to waste disposal, he said.

According to Putin, financing large-scale nuclear projects requires balanced risk-sharing and that the BRICS New Development Bank has confirmed its readiness to support such initiatives.

On resources, Putin remarked that ensuring their availability is “the most important issue” and that while some forecasts say the world’s uranium deposits could be completely depleted by 2090, in reality this could happen by the 2060s.

Russia is already developing solutions to this issue and, by 2030, plans to launch the world’s first nuclear energy system with a closed fuel cycle that will allow 95% of spent fuel to be reused in reactors, he told the audience.

The president proposed that this mechanism could ultimately completely solve the problem of radioactive waste accumulation and resolve the issue of uranium availability.

The Illegal US Occupation of Hawaii

Fight for the Pacific

Al Jazeera (2025)

Film Review

This film profile indigenous Kanaka Maoli women who view Hawai’i as territory illegally /the US has occupied illegally for over 100 years without a legal annexation treaty. In 1893 US Marines invaded to help a few mainland sugar planters launch a coup. Most native Hawaiians believe the US just wants Hawai’i for its deep ocean harbor at Pearl Harbor, essential for launching Pacific wars. At present Hawai’i is the command and control center for all US military operations in Asia. This makes the state’s civilian population extremely to enemy attack.

One quarter of the state’s land base Is used for US military operations, with all service branches represented. The area around Pearl Harbor used to be the the country’s bread basket and is now totally contaminated with toxic waste.

The external economies of tourism and the US military substantially inflate the cost of living for native Kanaki, forcing many to work two full time tourist jobs to survive. The state has the highest homeless rate in the US, and many homeless Kanaka are military veterans.

Kanaka activists are also extremely concerned about the AUKUS nuclear submarines docking at Pearl Harbor, especially in light of the deplorable nuclear colonialism the US practiced on the Marshall Islands. Between 1946 and 1958, the US dropped the equivalent of 1.6 Hiroshima bombs annually on the islands. During the same period they forcibly and secretly exposed a group of Marshall Islanders to the nuclear tests to study the human health effects. Because their soil continues to be contaminated with radioactive nucleotides, Marshall Islanders must import canned and processed food, leading to an epidemic of diabetes.

Italy and Spain deploy ships to help Gaza aid flotilla targeted in drone attack

Volunteers from the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) – an organization trying to get aid into the besieged enclave using ships setting sail from ports across the Mediterranean – say that some of their vessels were targeted by drones. The organization claimed the attacks are part of a sustained Israeli campaign of intimidation.

CNN has reached out to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for comment.

The boats were just days from reaching the enclave when the latest reported attacks occurred on Tuesday.

“In the final days before reaching Gaza, the GSF is experiencing an alarmingly dangerous escalation, with multiple boats reporting targeted explosions and unidentified objects being dropped on and near the boats, causing significant damage and widespread obstruction in communication,” the organization said in a statement Tuesday.

The incident has raised urgent concerns for the safety of the more than 500 unarmed participants aboard the flotillas, the GSF said.

There are variety of nationals on board the vessels, including citizens from Italy, Sweden and Spain, CNN understands.

Speaking from one of the vessels following the reported attack, a Spanish lawmaker urged international action to help the activists.

“I think this has to escalate further and further and reach … European Commission levels, because this needs to be tackled, coordinated with all the countries, at least in Europe,” lawmaker Juan Bordera told Reuters.

Bordera added that those on the flotilla were “stressed” and lived through a “crazy, crazy nightmare” amid Tuesday night’s explosions.

Israel’s previous warning to flotilla

On Tuesday, Israel’s foreign ministry said on X that the country would take “necessary measures” to stop the flotilla from reaching Gaza. The ministry said it would be willing to transfer the aid from the flotilla to Gaza through the Ashkelon port in Israel, but it accused flotilla organizers of refusing such a transfer and “pursuing a violent course of action.”

“If the flotilla continues to reject Israel’s peaceful proposal, Israel will take the necessary measures to prevent its entry into the combat zone and to stop any violation of a lawful naval blockade, while making every possible effort to ensure the safety of its passengers,” the ministry added.

Francesca Albanese, United Nations special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, wrote on X that the flotilla had come under attack 14 times between Tunis and Crete. “Four vessels are now damaged and require urgent repair. As of last night, an unexploded device remains on one of the boats,” she wrote.

UN Human Rights Office spokesperson Thameen Al-Kheetan has called for an “independent, impartial and thorough investigation” into the reported attacks.

Italy authorized the dispatch of an Italian naval vessel, which according to a statement from Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, is now en route to the area for possible rescue operations. The statement added that the drone attack was carried out by “currently unidentified perpetrators.”

Rome urges flotilla organizers to hand over aid for distribution

Hours later, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni spoke of her “total condemnation” of the drone strike on Tuesday night, adding that Italy is “conducting our own investigation to determine who is responsible.”

Meloni also advised those on the flotilla against needlessly risking their safety by continuing the mission.

“All of this is gratuitous, dangerous, and irresponsible. There’s no need to risk one’s safety and enter a war zone to deliver aid to Gaza, which the Italian government could have delivered in a matter of hours.”

She urged them instead to accept a proposal from Rome to transfer the aid to the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem in Cyprus, which would then assume the responsibility of delivery.

Italian officials say the Gaza-bound vessels are carrying Italian citizens, along with parliamentarians. “To ensure their safety, the foreign ministry had already notified the Israeli authorities that any operation entrusted to Israel’s armed forces be conducted in compliance with international law and the principle of absolute caution,” a statement from Italy’s foreign ministry said.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani is working to mediate with the Israeli government to allow the humanitarian supplies transported by the flotilla to enter Gaza, a spokesperson for his office told CNN.

“The minister is in contact with the Israeli government and has identified a credible mediation mechanism. The Italian government is examining all options to avoid further offensive actions against the flotilla’s vessels,” the office added.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said his country is also sending a ship on Thursday to assist the flotilla “in the event of any difficulties” and for potential rescue operations.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry reiterated on Wednesday evening that the flotilla would not be allowed to reach Gaza but that it could unload the aid “at any port in a nearby country outside Israel, from which it could be transferred peacefully to Gaza.”

Meanwhile, Sweden’s foreign ministry said it is following the developments very closely, adding that approximately 15 Swedish nationals were aboard the vessels.

Google Admits Biden Pressured Content Removal, Promises to Restore Banned YouTube Accounts

Google admits bending to political pressure, but only long after the damage was already done.

After years of denying bias, Google now concedes that it gave in to pressure from the Biden White House to remove content that did not breach its own rules.

The admission comes alongside a promise to restore access to YouTube accounts permanently removed for political speech related to COVID-19 and elections, topics where government officials had applied behind-the-scenes pressure to control the narrative.

This move follows sustained scrutiny from the House Judiciary Committee, which Reclaim The Net covered extensively, led by Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), who issued a subpoena and spearheaded an investigation that revealed the extent of government influence on content moderation decisions at Google.

In a letter from its legal representative, Google confirmed that it faced pressure from the federal government to suppress lawful speech.

We obtained a copy of the letter for you here.

Google revealed that it had been contacted multiple times by top federal officials regarding content on its platforms, even when that content did not break any rules.

The company stated that “Senior Biden Administration officials, including White House officials, conducted repeated and sustained outreach to Alphabet and pressed the Company regarding certain user-generated content related to the COVID-19 pandemic that did not violate its policies.”

According to the company, this outreach took place in a broader political climate that made it difficult to operate independently.

Google noted that “The political environment during the pandemic created significant pressure on platforms, including YouTube, to address content that some deemed harmful.”

While describing the situation, Google made clear its disapproval of such efforts, stating bluntly that “This pressure was – and remains – unacceptable and wrong.”

In response to this period of politicized enforcement, the company said it is now taking steps to reverse prior censorship decisions.

As part of that process, Google confirmed that “Reflecting the Company’s commitment to free expression, YouTube will provide an opportunity for all creators to rejoin the platform if the company terminated their channels for repeated violations of COVID-19 and elections integrity policies that are no longer in effect.”

The letter also clarified YouTube’s approach to content moderation, explicitly rejecting the use of outside arbiters. “YouTube does not use third-party fact checkers to determine whether content should be removed or labeled,” the company said.

Acknowledging the role of political diversity on its platform, Google stated that “YouTube values conservative voices on its platform. These creators have extensive reach and play an important role in civic discourse.”

The company concluded with a broader statement rejecting government interference in lawful online speech, saying that “The federal government should not play a role in pressuring private companies to take action on lawful speech.”

The revelations echo findings in the Murthy v. Missouri case, where lower courts found that federal agencies had taken on a role similar to an “Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth.’” While the Supreme Court dismissed the case on procedural grounds, the core issues around government pressure on speech remain unresolved.

The investigation into Google is part of a broader probe into how tech firms handled information related to the 2020 election, COVID-19, and high-profile political topics such as Hunter Biden’s laptop. The committee’s findings show a pattern of censorship aligned with political objectives.
