Why Western Intervention Failed in Afghanistan

Afghanistan: The Price of Peace

Film Review

Over 176,000 US troops were killed in the 20-year US war on Afghanistan, a war costing the US taxpayer $2.3 trillion. When Biden withdrew US troops on August 15, 2021, the US puppet government in Kabul instantly collapsed.

Taliban leaders profiled in the film reveal the Taliban first formed in response to the civil war that broke out in Afghanistan after the 1969 Soviet withdrawal in 1979. Their main purpose was to end the epidemic of kidnappings, rapes and forced marriages that occurred after US-armed and trained warlords went to war with each other. Many original Taliban members were recruited in Pakistani refugee camps.

[Ed though not mentioned in the film, the US funded much of their training and rise to power: see Afghanistan: How the US Put the Taliban in Power. In fact, many of jihadist textbooks used in Pakistani madrasa were printed Nebraska see From US the ABC’s of Jihad]

After defeating warlord in southeastern Afghanistan in 1996, the Taliban took power in Kabul and the rapes, kidnappings, forced marriages, (and opium production) ceased. Bin Laden moved from Sudan to Afghanistan the same year and pledged allegiance (along with the Sulafi jihadist organization he founded) to the Taliban. When the FBI made Bin Laden (who was on dialysis for end-stage kidney failure) the scapegoat for the 9-11 attacks, the Bush White House refused negotiate (ie provide evidence of his guilt) to the Taliban government. He simply began bombing Afghanistan, while the CIA liaised the Afghan warlords and their armies in advance of a US invasion.

After two months, the warlords retook half of Afghanistan, including Kabul, murdering hundreds of Taliban and civilian prisoners and collaborating with the US to send others to Guantanamo. Although southern Afghanistan remained under Taliban control, in December 2001 a UN mandate authorized a provisional government headed by an American of Afghan origin named Hamad Karzi. Karzai successfully negotiated a peace treaty with the Taliban (which retained control of southern Afghanistan), which was never accepted by the US.

Meanwhile the US/UN escalated the war, with 20 countries providing troops. In 2004, the area around Kabul installed their first democratically elected government. When Karzai rejected the Taliban offer to surrender, they took up arms again.

By 2008,there were 60,000 NATO troops from 40 countries. Meanwhile the Afghan government was quick to alienate the civilian population (driving them to join the Taliban, owing to US troops’ habit of shooting civilians at checkpoints, commandeering their homes, terrifying them with low flying planes and mistargeted drones, fostering the  world’s heroin production scheme, and allowing private companies to siphon off hundreds of billions of dollars of humanitarian aid.

The war displaced hundreds of thousands of civilians in the province. Receiving no support from the Afghan government, they turned to the Taliban for food and shelter.

By 2010, there were 120,000 (140,000 by 2011) NATO troops in Afghanistan, with 90,000-100,000 of them from the US. In 2013 alone, there were 3,000 civilian casualties, and three-fourths of Afghan civilians (all those outside Kabul) faced borderline starvation owing to impassible roads. US military corruption began to reflect that of the Afghan government. Twenty to thirty million dollars went missing in 2014 alone.

Beginning in 2017, the Taliban used social media to bring about the election of a Taliban government in every province but Kabul. At the end of 2018, Trump negotiated a treaty with the Taliban, signed in Qatar in 2020.  He then began the gradual withdrawal of US troops, while Afghan soldiers surrendered to the new Taliban governments in the provincial capitols. The US withdrawal was complete by August 15, 2021. On August 21, President Ghani fled and the Taliban seized the presidential palace.

In the current government, many bureaucrats from the former Afghan government of occupation work alongside newly appointed Taliban officials.

Our Objective: The Unconditional Cancellation and Withdrawal of the Covid Vaccine, Nationally and Internationally.

By The Vigilant Fox and Prof Michel Chossudovsky

This is the Senate hearing they never wanted you to see.

The Pfizer Confidential report was a bombshell. The vaccine was launched in mid-December 2020. By the end of February 2021, “Pfizer had already received more than 1,200 reports of deaths allegedly caused by the vaccine and tens of thousands of reported adverse events, including 23 cases of spontaneous abortions out of 270 pregnancies and more than 2,000 reports of cardiac disorders.”

The data from mid-December 2020 to the end of February 2021 unequivocally confirmed “Manslaughter”. Based on the evidence, Pfizer as well as the CDC, FDA and NHS had the responsibility to cancel and withdraw the “vaccine”.

Pfizer’s Worldwide marketing of the Covid-19 Vaccine beyond February 28th, 2021, is no longer an “Act of Manslaughter”. From a legal standpoint it is an “Act of Murder” applied Worldwide to a target population of 8 billion people. Sofar more than 70 percent of the World’s population have been Covid-19 vaccinated.

Click here to read the complete Pfizer report.

Pfizer was fully aware that the mRNA vaccine –which it continues to market Worldwide– would result in a wave of mortality and adverse events.

It was also a  Mea Culpa on the part of corrupt national governments Worldwide which were routinely threatened and/or bribed by Big Pharma.

Senator Ron Johnson refers to deaths recorded by VAERS in 2021, which were known and documented.

Neither the media nor the U.S government have informed the public.

The Worldwide Impacts of the Covid “Vaccine”

The Global Impacts of the mrNA Vaccine are beyond description. More than 14 billion doses of Covid vaccine were administered Worldwide, 1.75 doses per person for a World population of 8 billion.

Had the media truthfully reported on the nature of the Covid vaccine and its devastating impacts, millions of lives would have been saved.

From the outset, No meaningful attempt has been made by national governments to call for the withdrawal of the killer vaccine.

It is worth noting that from the very outsetDoctors for Covid Ethics issued a broad statement in July 2021 based on the data of EudraVigilance, (EU, EEA, Switzerland), MHRA (UK) and VAERS (USA) calling for immediate cancellation:

“more deaths and injuries from the COVID-!9 ‘vaccine’ roll-out than from all previous vaccines combined since records began.

The signal of harm is now indisputably overwhelming, and, in line with universally accepted ethical standards for clinical trials, Doctors for Covid Ethics demands that the COVID-19 “vaccination” programme be halted immediately worldwide.

Continuation of the programme, in the full knowledge of ongoing serious harm and death to both adults and children, constitutes Crimes Against Humanity/Genocide, for which those found to be responsible or complicit will ultimately be held personally liable.”

Senator Ron Johnson’s Explosive Senate Hearing on Covid Vaccine Injuries

The “safe and effective” narrative collapsed on camera during Senator Ron Johnson’sexplosive Senate hearing on COVID-19 vaccine injuries Wednesday afternoon.

Senator Ron Johnson brought the receipts, exposing how the Biden administration DELIBERATELY hid vaccine harms from the public.

Then Dr. James Thorp (OB-GYN) revealed miscarriage data so disturbing, it left the room silent.

This is the Senate hearing they never wanted you to see. I turned three hours of footage into a five-minute read.

Senator Ron Johnson opened the hearing with a bombshell: the Biden administration knew about deadly heart risks tied to the COVID shots, and deliberately kept it from the public.

Johnson released newly subpoenaed records exposing a detailed timeline of what officials knew and when. While Pfizer and Moderna received insider updates, doctors and citizens who raised concerns were silenced.

In February 2021, Israeli health officials warned the CDC of “large reports of myocarditis, particularly in young people” following Pfizer injections, just two and a half months after the vaccine received emergency use authorization.

By April, the CDC was already reviewing myocarditis data from Israel and the Department of Defense. But instead of alerting the public, they stayed quiet.

By the end of that month, VAERS had recorded 2,926 deaths, nearly half of which occurred within three days of injection. “Somebody ought to be looking at it,” Johnson said.

In May, the CDC considered issuing a formal health alert—but scrapped it. They replaced it with watered-down guidance that removed a key warning for doctors to restrict physical activity in myocarditis patients.

Francis Collins, then director of the NIH, brushed it all off. “Senator, people die,” he told Johnson.

In just six months, the toll was staggering: 384,270 reports of adverse events, 4,812 deaths, and 1,736 of those occurred within just 48 hours of injection.

Dr. Peter McCullough then took the floor and upended the narrative that vaccine-induced myocarditis is “rare.”

Before COVID, McCullough had seen just two myocarditis cases in his entire career. After the rollout, everything changed.

He says he’s now “examined thousands of patients with this problem.”

“There’s 1,065 papers in the peer-reviewed literature on COVID vaccine myocarditis,” he explained, pointing to a 2021 case published in the New England Journal of Medicine. A 42-year-old man developed vaccine-induced myocarditis. “The infection is ruled out,” McCullough said. “It’s the vaccine.” Three days after his Moderna shot, the man was dead.

McCullough cited a shocking case from Korea—a young man who died within eight hours of hospitalization after a Pfizer shot. His heart had been, in McCullough’s words, “fried with inflammation.”

Then came a case from Connecticut: two teenage boys, 16 and 17, died in their sleep just days after Pfizer. Their parents found them unresponsive.

“These cases… should have gotten everyone’s attention,” McCullough said. “We should never have someone die after taking a vaccine that’s directly caused to the vaccine.”

Click here to watch the video

Alabama-based physician Dr. Jordan Vaughn followed up with a chilling estimate—up to 15 million Americans may be suffering from long COVID or COVID vaccine injuries.

He now treats teenagers who can’t stand up and previously healthy adults who are suffering strokes with no clear cause.

According to Vaughn, the spike protein’s S1 subunit is far from harmless. “It triggers inflammation, it disrupts endothelial barriers, it induces fibrin resistant to breakdown, and it promotes a lot of amyloid aggregates,” he said.

These effects impair oxygen delivery, damage blood vessels, and trigger a wave of symptoms—racing heart, brain fog, shortness of breath, and post-exertional crashes.

In his clinic, Vaughn uses immunofluorescent microscopy to detect the spike protein’s damage, showing up in patients who were once thriving.

He warned that the mRNA injections led to uncontrolled spike protein production, which spread throughout the body, reaching the heart, brain, ovaries, and testes.

Regulators claimed the vaccine stayed in the arm. That was a lie. A Yale study now shows some people are still producing spike protein more than 700 days after their last injection.

We didn’t just inject people. We turned them into spike protein factories.

OB-GYN Dr. James Thorp delivered one of the most haunting moments of the hearing.

He said the COVID shots “MIRRORED” the effects of chemical abortion drugs—and the government knew what it was doing.

Dr. Thorp pointed to the now-infamous Shimabukuro study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, which claimed a 12.6% miscarriage rate following COVID vaccination.

But when you isolate the data for women vaccinated in the first trimester, the miscarriage rate rises to 82%, Dr. Thorp said. This 82% claim remains a topic of debate within the scientific community.

If true, “This figure mirrors the effects of chemical abort drugs,” Dr. Thorp lamented.

Click here to watch the video

.He added, “Recently, animal studies revealed the mRNA COVID vaccine causes the destruction of 60 PERCENT of the ovarian reserve in rats.”

If that effect translates to humans, it could be a catastrophic blow to fertility and the future of entire generations.

Dr. Thorp said pregnant women were deliberately targeted, and their unborn children paid the price.

“This must stop now,” he said.

[…]

Senator Ron Johnson confronted Hawaii Gov. Josh Green, who was defending the COVID jabs at the hearing.

I could fill this room with photos of people who are DEAD because of the COVID injection,” Johnson said. “I could fill the room,” he reiterated.

He made the comment after calling out how the vaccine-injured are still being ignored, gaslit, and denied care.

Johnson pointed to VAERS data showing 38,607 reported deaths after the shot, 9,228 of them within two days.

Multiply that by a conservative underreporting factor of 10, and the death toll climbs to over 386,000

Click here to watch the video

Dr. Peter McCullough delivered one of the most powerful moments of the hearing.

Senator Blumenthal had previously claimed the COVID vaccines “saved three million lives.”

Dr. McCullough quickly dismantled that false narrative. He delivered a three-part reality check on what actually brought COVID deaths down:

1. Natural immunity did the heavy lifting.

2. Early treatment kept people out of hospitals.

3. The virus mutated into a milder form.

“The vaccine cannot be falsely credited with saving millions of lives,” McCullough said.

“We can’t allow false drug advertising to be put up on a poster behind one of our public servants. We cannot accept that.”

See this.

Sen. Ron Johnson delivered another crushing blow to the “safe and effective” narrative—this time with a devastating chart that exposed that lie.

The chart showed that one of the biggest spikes in COVID cases and deaths occurred AFTER the vaccine rollout began in December 2020.

By mid-2021, over half the U.S. was “fully vaccinated.” But instead of improving, the numbers got worse.

If the vaccine had worked, cases and deaths would have dropped. They didn’t—and this chart makes that impossible to ignore.

See this.

Sensing the narrative was slipping, Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut) scrambled to defend public health officials.

He became visibly agitated at the suggestion that vaccine risks had been covered up.

“I may be sounding a little bit like a lawyer, not a physician, but purposeful concealment, intentional hiding, is essentially undocumented by the evidence released by this report itself,” Blumenthal said.

He brushed off the myocarditis concerns as “rare” and insisted that officials like Rochelle Walensky took “multiple steps” to warn the public.

So his message quietly shifted from “safe and effective” to “We did our best with what we knew at the time,” a clear sign that the vaccine narrative is running out of ground to stand on.

See this.

Vaccine-injured physician Dr. Joel Wallskog captured the pain of the vaccine-injured better than anyone.

“If I could describe one word that I think all, if not most, vaccine-injured will say… it’s ABANDONMENT.”

He explained how people like him have been attacked from both sides.

“The right says we’re stupid… the left calls us anti-vaxxers, which is one of the most ignorant things to say.”

He reminded the room that he was injured because he got vaccinated.

Dr. Wallskog and vaccine-injured associate Brianne Dressen met multiple times with FDA vaccine chief Dr. Peter Marks over two years.

“We have been placated, we have been blown off,” he said. “He thanks us, he says he’ll get back to us… he never does.”

Dr. Wallskog added that the idea that federal agencies are trying to help is “the farthest from the truth.”

See this.

Dr. McCullough closed the hearing with a final truth bomb.

“You’ve asked for us to cite evidence,” Dr. McCullough began.

He pointed to three papers by Nathaniel Mead, a former National Institutes of Health writer sitting in the audience. Together, they contain nearly 1,000 references—and they all reach the same conclusion:

“The risks of COVID-19 vaccination far outweigh any theoretical benefits.”

Dr. McCullough then dismantled the narrative pushed by Gov. Josh Green and Sen. Richard Blumenthal, calling their claims that the vaccines saved lives and reduced the severity of disease as nothing more than “wishful thinking.”

“I don’t want America to be fooled by this hearing today thinking that the vaccines saved lives—because they didn’t,” Dr. McCullough said.

See this.

Tech Firms Unite in Open Letter Against EU Chat Scanning Law

Glowing padlock icon centered on a red and blue circuit-board style background with interconnected neon lines and nodes suggesting digital security and cybersecurity networks.

End-to-end encryption faces extinction under a law that treats every message like contraband.

With the vote approaching, the European Commission’s plan to scan private digital messages is moving toward final approval.

The regulation, called Chat Control 2.0, has gone through a year of resistance, warnings from experts, and objections from technology companies.

It is presented as a child safety measure, designed to inspect messages, photos, and videos across the EU before they are sent.

The privacy implications are immense.

Alice Weidel, co-leader of Germany’s AfD party, described the proposal as “an absolutely totalitarian project” and “a comprehensive general attack on central citizens and freedoms.”

She said the measure would install scanning software on personal devices, intercepting content before it reaches its recipient. The system would remove the protection offered by end-to-end encryption and treat every user as a potential suspect.

Weidel said the use of child safety language was “a cheap pretext” for real-time surveillance.

“Even the Stasi could only dream of such a full force,” she said, comparing the plan to intercepting and photographing every private letter for review by a government authority.

She warned that once the system exists, its function can expand to include other categories such as “politically offensive content” and “so-called hate speech.” The structure of the law allows the criteria to be adjusted through political decisions.

Technology companies have joined in opposition. Hundreds of privacy-oriented firms, including encrypted messengers, cloud storage services, and VPN providers, signed a joint letter urging EU ministers to reject the regulation.

Their message called for the protection of encryption and for an end to mandatory message scanning.

Signal has announced that it will leave the EU if forced to comply. The platform has stated that it cannot operate under a framework requiring message inspection.

The regulation creates an obligation to weaken the systems that enable private communication and turns encryption into a technical formality rather than a guarantee of privacy.

Supporters of the proposal say it will catch child abusers. Critics point out that criminal networks conduct their operations in offline settings or hidden spaces beyond the reach of such scanning.

“Criminals are already using offline or so-called dark rooms for their illegal businesses,” Weidel said.

The measure would monitor regular users, journalists, and private citizens instead. Automated scanning systems often misidentify legal or harmless material, producing false positives that draw in people with no connection to crime.

The October 14 vote will decide whether private communication continues to exist inside the EU. The proposal establishes a framework in which surveillance is routine and encryption is limited by law.

Over 500 scientists from more than 30 countries have issued warnings about the plan’s impact.

Legal experts and civil society groups have said the regulation would create an environment of constant monitoring, inconsistent with democratic rights.

Technology platforms have warned that they may withdraw services from the region if the proposal becomes law.

The window for change is closing. If Chat Control 2.0 passes, it will redefine digital communication in Europe and end the assumption that private messages remain private.

Apple pulls error-ridden AI news service

The US tech giant’s alert service had triggered multiple complaints over factual mistakes

Apple has pulled its AI-generated news alert service following complaints about fake content. The US tech giant released a software update on Thursday that disables the feature for news and entertainment notifications, according to multiple media reports.

The move was prompted by several instances of fake news. Notably, a claim that Luigi Mangione, accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, had shot himself – attributed to the BBC. Other fake reports included a notification stating that darts player Luke Littler had won the PDC World Darts Championship before the event occurred, and false claim  that tennis star Rafael Nadal had come out as gay.

The inaccuracies led the BBC to file a formal complaint with Apple in December, because the fake summaries were displayed with the British state broadcaster’s logo.

“With the latest beta software releases of iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS Sequoia 15.3, Notification summaries for the News & Entertainment category will be temporarily unavailable,” BBC quoted an Apple spokesperson as saying on Friday.

“We are working on improvements and will make them available in a future software update,” added the spokesperson.

According to the BBC, the decision to pull the feature “speaks volumes about just how damaging the errors made by its much-hyped new AI feature actually are.”

Following the incident, press freedom group Reporters Without Borders warned that “generative AI services are still too immature to produce reliable information for the public, and should not be allowed on the market for such uses.”

A July 2024 study by Cornell University in New York described the prevailing “hallucinations” of top AI models as “a major challenge.”

The integration of AI into journalism has become increasingly prevalent. A 2023 survey conducted by the London School of Economics suggested that nearly three in four news organizations were using AI in either news gathering, production or distribution.

Deloitte caught filing $290k government report with AI errors

Deloitte caught filing $290k government report with AI errors

RT

The accounting giant has agreed to partially refund Australia’s Labor Department for “hallucinations” in its product

The Australian arm of UK ‘big four’ accounting firm Deloitte has agreed to partially refund the cost of a report it produced for the government in Canberra after the document was found to contain multiple AI-generated factual errors, the Australian Financial Review reported on Sunday.

The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) quietly replaced the original report, which was published in July, with a revised 237-page version last Friday, just ahead of a long weekend. Officials initially said the update added new information and corrected “some footnotes and references.”

Sydney University academic Chris Rudge had earlier flagged numerous apparent “hallucinations” typical of large language models, prompting Deloitte to launch an internal review in August.

The updated report includes a new disclosure confirming that AI – specifically Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI GPT-4o model – had been used in its preparation. It also corrects over a dozen errors, including references to a non-existent court ruling and academic papers, as well as a fabricated quote attributed to Justice Jennifer Davies (misspelled “Davis” in the first version), the deputy president of the Australian Competition Tribunal.

Rudge told the Financial Review that Deloitte’s admission transformed what was previously “a strong hypothesis” into certainty, even if its confession was “buried in the methodology section.”

A DEWR spokesperson confirmed that Deloitte had “agreed to repay the final installment under its contract,” though the amount was not disclosed. The full study on the computerized application of automated penalties in Australia’s welfare system cost 440,000 Australian dollars (about $290,000).

Rudge, a welfare expert, reportedly first noticed something was amiss when the report cited a book supposedly written by his Sydney University colleague Lisa Burton Crawford. The title seemed outside her field of expertise and turned out to not exist at all.

Your Pastor and Church are Being Paid by Israeli Government to Track You and Your Views on Israel

by Brian Shilhavy
Editor, Health Impact News

Today, October 7, 2025, is the two-year anniversary of the Hamas attacks in Israel.

If you are attending your church or a gathering with your pastor who supports Israel, the Israeli government is probably paying your pastor and your church to track you, through what is called “Geofencing.”

What is Geofencing?

Geofencing is a way to track people who enter a defined geographical area. It uses the person’s cell phone, and/or their vehicle to identify and track them.

The Geofencing software knows who you are, where you go, and how you respond to ads and messaging, as it builds a profile on you. The more connected you are, and the more you are involved on social media sites, the more it knows about you and your political and religious views as it adds it to your profile.

[…]

This personal data about you is then available for sale to data brokers, and that data is very valuable today, especially to those building their AI databases.

With the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk, the Israeli government is becoming concerned about their support among Evangelical Christians declining, and are now spending $millions of dollars targeting Evangelical Christians with Zionist propaganda.

One new group, Show Faith by Works, LLC, has just recently registered as a foreign agent present in the U.S. funded by the Israeli government. (Their filing with FARA is found here.)

This is from the Jewish Telegraphy Agency:

Israel to spend up to $4.1M to bolster support among Christians in western US, filings show
San Diego firm contracted to geofence churches, recruit pastors and tour an “October 7th Experience” exhibit as part of Israel’s expanded global outreach efforts.

Excerpts:

With its popularity in the United States crashing, Israel is bankrolling what organizers say will be the largest campaign of its kind to bolster support among evangelical churches, until recently seen as an unshakable base of support for the Jewish state.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry has hired an American firm to run the campaign, with plans to spend as much as $4.1 million on marketing aimed at Christians across the Western part of the country, according to newly filed federal disclosures.

The documents, filed last week under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), reveal that Show Faith by Works, LLC will execute what it bills as the “largest Christian Church Geofencing Campaign in U.S. history.”

A newly formed company with a San Diego address, Show Faith by Works is run by Chad Schnitger, a prominent Christian conservative activist in California.

The initiative is designed to reach churchgoers with digital ads that are explicitly “pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian,” while dispatching a mobile “October 7th Experience” exhibit to church parking lots and Christian colleges.

The campaign adds a new prong to Israel’s U.S. communications blitz, complementing a $1.5 million-per-month contract for AI-driven social media activity with former Trump campaign strategist Brad Parscale and a contract with a firm called Bridge Partners to create an influencer network called the Esther Project.

The PR blitz was anticipated after Israel’s Foreign Ministry was allocated $150 million in this year’s budget for public relations efforts.

Israel’s government is deploying unprecedented resources to shape American opinion amid what Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described as the country’s “eighth front”: the battle of narratives and public opinion around the world.

The campaign comes at a time when Israel’s once-reliable support among U.S. evangelicals is showing cracks with recent surveys showing that younger evangelicals are less likely to support Israel than previous generations. Though initiated months earlier, the campaign also comes shortly after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, who was perhaps the most prominent evangelical pro-Israel voice speaking to young Americans. (Full article.)

If you go to the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) government filing which is available to the public here, scroll down to page 34 where hundreds of Christian churches are listed to receive Israeli Government funding to promote Zionism.

If your church is not there (these are mainly churches in the western part of the U.S.), don’t worry. There are many other Israeli-funded lobbying groups like this one that do the same thing all across the U.S.

And remember, just over a week ago Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in New York for an address to the UN, and then later met with social media “influencers” inside Israel’s Consulate General in New York, as I previously reported.

One of the “influencers” in this meeting was Debra Lea, an American Jewish woman, who recorded a couple of videos of this meeting that she later then posted on her X account.

This is the question that Debra Lea asked Netanyahu in this closed-door meeting:

With Charlie Kirk’s assassination, who was a big mentor of mine, my first mentor in this space, Evangelicals, from all of my research, Evangelicals are the reason that Israel has been supported in the public sphere outside of Jews.

So with Charlie’s assassination and the current kind of trajectory that we see with people like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson, I guess I am curious about what another game plan is if we lose Evangelical support for the State of Israel? What’s our backup plan to be strong, like outside of the diaspora?

Listen to Netanyahu’s response:

President Trump is currently trying to declare martial law in America’s largest cities and have the U.S. military take over law enforcement duties, based on the reason that crime is too rampant. He is already doing similar things with ICE, by rounding up all Latinos, even if they are U.S. citizens, and putting them in concentration camps called “ICE Detention Centers.”

I am sure the plan here is to turn these cities into military zones with Geofencing and other surveillance technology installed to track everyone, just as it is today in Jerusalem for anyone who wants to go into the West Bank. Jerusalem has been the laboratory for massive public surveillance and containment for quite some time now.

Geofencing was used of course in Washington D.C. on January 6, 2021, where anyone who was near the Capitol Building that day, whether they attended the Trump rally or not, was questioned by the FBI just for being in the area.

And the COVID lockdowns were also huge laboratory exercises to see if they could track everyone through their compliance to COVID edicts, and keep people locked down in their homes.

They were largely unsuccessful in this, because it required too many humans to manually enter the data. See COVID Tracking Project

Christian Churches had a huge impact on COVID compliance and government-funded messaging, particularly about the deadly “vaccines,” where churches who lost revenue during the lockdowns made back much of that lost revenue by partnering with the local health department and collecting government funds to become “vaccine clinics”.

[…]

And now here we are a few years later, and the same methods are being used in an attempt to track everyone by using Christian Churches, except this time it is the Israeli Government doing it to weed out everyone who does not support Israel as they try to hang on to their Evangelical Christian base.

If you dare to disagree, you will be put on a list that someday may be used against you, such as continuing to use your bank, or being able to use government services, like even renewing your driver’s license.

And if you have a big enough following online, you could end up like Charlie Kirk…..

Yemen Rises as the Decisive Front in the US-Israel Bid for Regional Control

As normalization accelerates and Israel scrambles to neutralize the Yemeni threat, Sanaa asserts its central role in shaping West Asia’s power balance.

Mawadda Iskandar

Since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood in October 2023, Yemen’s Ansarallah-aligned armed forces have transformed the Red Sea into a pressure point against Tel Aviv and Washington, extending operations to the Mediterranean and disrupting both Israeli and US interests.

The failure of the US to dismantle Yemen’s support front led to a temporary agreement with Sanaa to halt attacks on American assets, while the Yemeni naval blockade of Israeli vessels and attacks inside occupied territories persisted.

This failure prompted the concerned parties to adopt a new strategy to penetrate the Yemeni front, with uncalculated military, security, and intelligence dimensions, turning Yemen into a decisive theater in redrawing the maps of regional power.

Tel Aviv’s war comes home

With the UAE as the lead architect, this campaign leverages normalization as both cover and conduit for Israeli infiltration. Emirati-led factions, most prominently the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), have aligned with this agenda. STC leader Aidarous al-Zubaidi has openly courted Tel Aviv, offering normalization in exchange for support for southern secession.

Israeli media reports reveal Abu Dhabi’s involvement in the assassinations of high-ranking Sanaa officials, including the assassination of Yemeni prime minister Ahmed al-Rahawi on 10 September and the June 2025 attempt on General Staff Chief Mohammad Abdul Karim al-Ghamari.

Sources tell The Cradle that Zubaidi has privately expressed readiness to normalize ties if Washington greenlights the project. That green light appears to be flickering: joint meetings, delegation visits, and media campaigns from STC-aligned figures are pushing overt coordination with Israel into public view.

This dynamic was embodied in July 2025, when a delegation from the Middle East Forum that included British-Israeli journalist Jonathan Spire and American researcher Michael Rubin visited the Saudi-backed, internationally recognized government’s interim capital, Aden.

The delegation met with the Minister of Defense in the Aden government, Mohsen al-Daeri, in addition to leaders from the STC, including the head of intelligence in the council. The Jerusalem Post confirmed that the meetings revealed the council’s readiness for military action in the Bab al-Mandab Strait as soon as western approval is obtained, with financial and military support.

In parallel, a media normalization campaign led by journalists loyal to the STC, most notably Mana Suleiman, called on the i24 channel to intensify strikes against Ansarallah forces.

Emirati-Israeli militarism entrenches in Yemen

Between 2023 and 2025, the UAE – with Israeli backing – has entrenched itself across southern Yemen. Satellite imagery confirms the construction of advanced air bases, intelligence platforms, and logistical hubs in Shabwah, Socotra, Zuqar, and Abd al-Kuri islands.

Map highlighting the strategic location of UAE-controlled Zuqar Island near key Ansarallah-governed cities and the vital Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Private sources tell The Cradle that this expansion on the southern coast and strategic islands has become evident on the ground, and creates multiple risks – most notably, destabilizing the Yemeni interior and the transformation of the islands into intelligence and logistical platforms that extend from the Gulf of Aden to the Red Sea, passing through Bab al-Mandab.

The work is carried out through the presence of Israeli officers on the ground, while the UAE uses radars and military devices to monitor Yemeni forces and control maritime movements, and the two sides coordinate operations through the “Crystal Ball” – a joint UAE-Israeli intelligence exchange platform.

The islands have been transformed into integrated platforms that include military, intelligence, and economic infrastructure, making them a gateway to dominate sea lanes and control shipping lanes between Asia and Africa. In the heart of the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a vital artery for global trade and energy transmission, the islands of Mayun and Zuqar stand out as key strategic points.

After October 2023, the UAE strengthened its presence on Mayun Island with the direct support of Israel, repaving a 1.85-kilometer runway and now hosts Israeli-run radar systems, Patriot batteries, drone hangars, and naval observation posts.

Mayun Island has been turned into a permanent military center and a secret station for the transit and maintenance of commercial and warships.

Operations fees from commercial and military vessels transiting this chokepoint, reportedly ranging from $80,000 to $200,000, are funneled through UAE accounts in Dubai, entirely bypassing Yemeni or international oversight.

Specialized companies, such as Janes Information Group, which have installed advanced monitoring and interception systems from Israeli companies, appear in the cooperation.

Zuqar Island, located just 75 kilometers from Hodeidah and 210 kilometers from Sanaa, has become a joint Israeli-US-Emirati operations center. By early 2025, US Central Command (CENTCOM) had integrated into this hub, with Unit 400 – a UAE force trained under a counterterrorism pretext – activated to suppress Sanaa’s influence. Surveillance, interception, and drone coordination systems now anchor the island’s role in anti-Yemeni warfare.

By September 2025, satellite imagery revealed the expansion of the facilities, including satellite-linked operations and communications rooms, making the island a vessel observation and maintenance platform equipped with Israeli electronic interception and monitoring systems.

The Socotra archipelago is a strategic point that allows control over the Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden, southern Red Sea, northern Indian Ocean, southern Arabian Peninsula, and Horn of Africa.

Abd al-Kuri and Samha islands have been converted into launchpads for drones and naval systems. The UAE, under humanitarian pretenses, uses the Emirates Red Crescent to build detention sites, intelligence posts, and private marinas.

Shabwah, a governorate rich in oil and linking Yemen’s south to the interior, now hosts two UAE-built runways, tunnel networks, and drone training centers. Colombian mercenaries, contracted at $3,590 per head, have been deployed to train local factions.

On the home front, Shabwa has emerged as a strategic destination. Its location, which connects the south to the north and gives it an eastern outlet towards Hadramawt and Al-Mahra, and its proximity to Abyan, Al-Bayda, and Marib, have made it a pivotal target in regional calculations.

In the northwest of the Ataq airport campus, bunkers and control rooms for drones have been built dedicated to accommodation, meetings, training, and ammunition storage, complementing the permanent character of the military structure.

According to sources speaking to The Cradle, joint US-Israeli teams frequently visit frontlines in coalition-controlled governorates to gather intelligence and assess requirements, promising financial, logistical, and armament support to mobilize factions capable of opening an internal front to constrain Sanaa’s military capabilities.

Riyadh joins the fray

Competition between anti-Sanaa coalition partners Riyadh and Abu Dhabi has also intensified across Yemen’s  eastern front, particularly in Al-Mahra. As the UAE entrenches its presence in Socotra and seeks demographic control through military, economic, and cultural means, Saudi Arabia expands in Al-Mahra under the guise of counter-smuggling, deploying Salafi-aligned militias and building bases to consolidate influence over this vital corridor.

On 16 September 2025, Saudi Arabia co-hosted a naval security summit with the UK, unveiling a coalition to “protect navigation” in the Red Sea. The international Yemen Maritime Security Partnership saw the participation of more than 35 countries, including the US.

In reality, this front aims to dismantle the Yemeni blockade on Israeli shipping. Riyadh pledged $4 million to arm and train the Yemeni Coast Guard for this mission. In response, Ansarallah leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi warned the Saudis against any involvement with Israel, stressing that anyone involved in supporting Israeli ships or attacking Yemen “will be confronted within the framework of our position against the Israeli enemy itself.”

Addressing the Saudi kingdom’s leadership directly, Houthi declared, “You will not be able to protect the Israeli enemy’s ships in the Red Sea … This is a disgrace upon you, and at the same time, you will not succeed.”

Israel’s war on Gaza has inadvertently elevated Yemen to a central axis in regional geopolitics. The Axis of Resistance has extended its frontlines from the Levant to the Arabian Sea. With Emirati-Saudi backing, Tel Aviv now bets on normalization and internal sabotage to sideline Sanaa. Yet Yemen’s rising deterrence capabilities suggest the war for Bab al-Mandab is far from over.

Hamas just accepted Trump’s ‘peace’ plan. Here’s what it didn’t accept.

The response of Hamas to U.S. President Donald Trump’s “peace” plan to end the war in Gaza came in late on Friday. It sparked immediate and conflicting reactions.

Five days after the U.S. president first announced his plan, the Palestinian movement gave its answer in a statement announcing its readiness to “release all hostages — living and dead – according to the exchange formula included in President Trump’s proposal.” Hamas added that it was ready to enter talks “to discuss the details.”

In a move practically unheard of by a U.S. president, Trump shared Hamas’s statement on his account on Truth Social:

“Based on the Statement just issued by Hamas, I believe they are ready for a lasting peace,” Trump said, adding that “Israel must immediately stop the bombing of Gaza, so that we can get the hostages out safely and quickly!”

Minutes later, Trump announced Hamas’s acceptance of his plan in a live address at the White House, considering the event “a big day, unprecedented in many ways.” Trump added that he “looks forward to having all [Israeli] hostages come back to their parents,” stressing that “we have to put the final word in concrete.” The U.S. President thanked Arab and Muslim states for “helping me put this together,” promising that “everybody will be treated fairly.”

Hamas’s response to Trump’s plan came a day after the Israeli army sealed off Gaza City. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a “final warning” to the estimated 500,000 Palestinians still in the city, announcing that those who decide to remain will be considered “terrorists or supporters of terror.”

Netanyahu ‘surprised’ amid international approval

Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey also accepted Hamas’s response, while French President Emmanuel Macron said that the “release of all hostages and a ceasefire in Gaza are within reach,” and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Hamas’s response was “a significant step forward.”

Trump’s near-immediate positive response to the Hamas statement was reportedly met with “surprise” by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to an unnamed Israeli official who spoke to Israel’s Channel 12. Netanyahu had held a deliberation on the Hamas response to Trump’s plan before the U.S. President published his Truth Social statement. According to Channel 12, the Israeli Prime Minister considered the Hamas response a rejection of Trump’s framework.

Netanyahu had reportedly stressed the need to coordinate with the U.S. on a response, so it would not seem that Hamas had accepted the Trump deal, according to Channel 12, which also cited Israeli officials saying that the Hamas response “could pave the way to a deal.”

What Hamas accepted

In its official statement, Hamas praised “the Arab, Islamic, and international efforts, as well as the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump, aimed at halting the war on the Gaza Strip, achieving a prisoner exchange, allowing immediate entry of humanitarian aid, rejecting the occupation of the Strip, and opposing the displacement of our Palestinian people from it.”

Hamas’s statement then announced the movement’s acceptance of Trump’s prisoner exchange formula, which would see the release of 250 Palestinians from Israeli prisons in exchange for the release of all Israeli captives. The statement added that Hamas was ready to “immediately enter into negotiations” through Qatari and Egyptian mediators to “discuss the details.”

The statement also affirmed Hamas’s readiness to hand over the administration of the Strip to a Palestinian commission of independent “technocrats,” which would be formed “based on Palestinian national consensus and supported by Arab and Islamic backing.”

Most importantly, the Hamas statement addressed the other parts of Trump’s plan concerning the future of Gaza and the “legitimate rights of the Palestinian people,” affirming that it must be subject to a “comprehensive national position” based on international law and UN Resolutions. This position would have to be discussed as part of a “unified Palestinian national framework,” which Hamas said it would participate in “with full responsibility.”

What Hamas didn’t accept

But the Hamas statement also skirted over a number of key parts of Trump’s plan that have been widely regarded as a non-starter for Palestinians, as it would prevent Palestinians from administering their own lives and forestall the prospects of a Palestinian state.

These included the clause in Trump’s plan about forming a “board of peace” headed by the U.S. President, the widely-reported potential participation of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and the deployment of international and Arab forces to “demilitarize” Gaza. Most importantly, the statement made no mention of the demand for Hamas and other resistance factions in Gaza to disarm.

Following the statement, Hamas’s head of international and legal relations, Mousa Abu Marzouq, told Al Jazeera that Hamas was concerned with the first nine points of Trump’s 20-point plan, which related to ending the war, ending the occupation of Gaza, humanitarian aid, and who would rule the Strip.

Abu Marzouq added that these issues required further negotiations, asserting that some of Trump’s points were “unrealistic,” including the release of all captives within 72 hours. He also noted that the plan did not include any clear framework for how the Israeli withdrawal would take place.

Refusing a ‘mandate in new form’

Abu Marzouq affirmed that Gaza must be ruled by “an independent commission of technocrats, and this is what we agreed on with the rest of the [Palestinian] factions in Cairo,” referencing the inter-Palestinian agreement back in August to form an independent commission to run Gaza based on an Egyptian proposal.

As for the clauses of Trump’s plan concerning the future of the Palestinian Authority (PA), the future of the Gaza Strip, and the future of a Palestinian state, Abu Marzouq said that these issues could not be decided upon by Hamas alone. “Hamas is part of the Palestinian people, but there are other parts,” Abu Marzouq said. “All the national factions, the national movement in all its colors, the PLO—which represents the Palestinian people—and the Palestinian Authority, which is already engaged in a political process with the occupying state. All of them are partners in drawing the future of the Palestinian people.”

The Hamas official called on Egypt to initiate dialogue with all Palestinian parties to reach a common position on these issues. Abu Marzouq added that “it is absolutely impossible that this national consensus would accept a mandate on any part of the Palestinian people,” opining that the proposal for the administration of the Strip by a “board of peace” was a “mandate in new form,” referencing the post-World War I British Mandate over Palestine over a century ago.

Regarding disarmament, Abu Marzouq said that Hamas would hand over its weapons to a Palestinian state “on the first day it is established,” asserting that Hamas could not continue to be an armed organization under a Palestinian state.

Spain to file ICC complaint over Israel’s mistreatment of Sumud flotilla activists

Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska

Press TV

Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska has suggested that legal measures might be pursued at the International Criminal Court (ICC) following reports from Spanish citizens on board the Global Sumud Flotilla regarding mistreatment by Israeli guards during their custody.

“I am concerned as a minister, and I am concerned as a Spanish citizen, and simply as a person, about any violation of a fundamental right, evidently. But for that, there are also legal channels: the International Criminal Court and also the Spanish courts when it concerns national citizens,” Marlaska said in an interview with public television broadcaster TVE on Monday.

He reiterated that criminal liabilities regarding individuals who might have been victims will be assessed and dealt with through the relevant national and international legal frameworks.

Marlaska also emphasized that boarding ships in international waters is subject to an international criminal law classification, as defined by clear conventions and also recognized within the national legal system, because “this would be a deprivation of liberty, absolutely illegal, for the people who were victims of these acts.”

Marlaska noted that the foremost priority is for the final 28 members of the flotilla to return to Spain “safe and sound.”

He underscored that the Spanish government “is absolutely proactive” in this case, “appearing before the International Criminal Court to defend the fundamental rights and public freedoms of Spanish citizens and other citizens.”

“There will be time to respond from a legal perspective. The Spanish government has already stated this from the very beginning, as I mentioned, appearing before the International Criminal Court,” the senior Spanish official said.

He also said that the attorney general’s office has initiated investigative proceedings as well.

“I believe that, in defending human rights and fundamental freedoms, no one can say that we have not been defending them from minute one,” he said.

The remarks come as the Gaza flotilla activists were deported from the Israeli-occupied territories amid numerous accounts of their mistreatment in Israeli detention centers.

According to the Spanish EFE news agency, they reported a lack of access to legal counsel and were also unable to contact their families.

The activists added that armed personnel entered the cells accompanied by dogs, directing them towards their heads.

They said they were deprived of sleep, moved between cells to prevent them from resting, and were treated “worse than animals.”

Approximately 450 individuals involved in the flotilla were detained from last Wednesday to Friday as Israeli forces intercepted the vessels, which aimed to breach a naval blockade of Gaza and provide aid to Palestinians in the besieged region.

Israel has maintained the blockade on Gaza, which is inhabited by nearly 2.4 million individuals, for nearly 18 years.

According to the health ministry of Gaza, Israeli attacks have claimed the lives of at least 67,160 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, in the besieged Gaza Strip since October 2023.

Two years on: Gaza awakens the West to Israel’s 77-year settler-colonial genocide

By Maryam Qarehgozlou

Two years after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Western public opinion has undergone a seismic shift, marked by unprecedented pro-Palestine protests, widespread boycotts, growing condemnation of Israel’s genocide, and the mainstream rejection of Zionism.

From the very first days of Israel’s devastating assault on Gaza — with its genocidal war crimes live-streamed unfiltered on social media platforms — millions in the West appeared to awaken to over seven decades of occupation, apartheid, and war crimes by the Zionist regime.

What began in 1948 with the Nakba, or “catastrophe,” when more than 750,000 Palestinians were violently expelled from their homeland to make way for the formation of an illegitimate entity, long ignored or denied by much of the world, has now become impossible to look away from — even for erstwhile Zionist sympathizers in Western capitals.

The genocidal war — with over 67,100 Palestinians, mostly women and children, killed; famine imposed through deliberate aid blockades; the total destruction of civilian infrastructure; and the forced displacement of over 2.2 million people — has triggered a historic wave of global outrage.

In recent weeks, ahead of the second anniversary of October 7, which also coincided with the attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla by the Israeli regime on the shores of Gaza, massive protests were seen across European countries, from Spain to Italy to the Netherlands.

Massive crowds again filled streets in Rome, where police estimated some 250,000 participants during a fifth consecutive day of demonstrations on Monday. Barcelona saw around 70,000 marchers, and Madrid nearly 92,000. In Dublin, thousands marked “two years of genocide” in Gaza.

In London, police said they made at least 442 arrests at a gathering in support of people of Gaza and banned Palestine Action, a pro-Palestine group that takes direct action to halt the sale and export of military equipment to Israeli-occupied territories.

About 10,000 people gathered in Paris in defiance of heavy policing.

These protests have gradually grown in frequency and strength since the events of October 7, 2023.

On November 4, 2023, less than a month into the genocidal war, tens of thousands poured into the streets of major cities, including Washington, DC, London, Paris, Berlin, Ankara, Istanbul, and Milan, to demand an immediate ceasefire.

The march in DC became the largest pro-Palestine demonstration in history at the time, drawing an estimated 100,000 to 300,000 protesters.

[…]

Around the same time, in Paris, thousands marched through the capital demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, shouting “Israel, assassin!”Demonstrators also aimed at French President Emmanuel Macron, chanting “Macron, accomplice.”

At least 6,000 protesters in Berlin and several thousand more marched in Düsseldorf, while London also saw thousands of demonstrators block city streets before converging on Trafalgar Square.

In Bucharest, hundreds gathered under the banner “Save the children of Gaza,” and rallies in Milan and Rome each drew thousands of participants.

[…]

Gaza-bound flotillas

In recent months, global outrage has also intensified following Israel’s repeated interceptions of humanitarian flotillas bound for Gaza, where UN-backed monitors confirmed famine had taken hold.

The latest mission — the Global Sumud Flotilla, organized by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) — set sail from Barcelona in September with 45 boats carrying aid and activists from 44 countries.

It was intercepted in international waters by the Israeli regime’s navy, which abducted more than 470 participants and detained them in the occupied territories. Many later described their mistreatment by Israeli guards as “cruel” and “Nazi-like.”

FFC, an international nonprofit group that has been organizing such Gaza-bound convoys since 2010, has attempted numerous times to break the blockade on Gaza via sea and deliver aid to Palestinians.

Earlier missions — including the Handala in July, Madleen in June, and Conscience in May — were all intercepted or attacked by Israeli occupation forces in international waters.

In one case, Israeli drones struck the Conscience just 25 kilometers off Malta, igniting a fire and forcing activists into a desperate fight to keep the ship afloat.

The ‘student Intifada’

By April 2024, the pro-Palestine movement surged onto university campuses worldwide. What began with mass arrests at Columbia University’s Gaza solidarity encampment on April 18 ignited what activists dubbed the “Student Intifada.”

Protesters demanded that their institutions sever financial and academic ties with the Israeli regime and associated companies complicit in the Gaza genocide.

[…]

When Donald Trump returned to the White House in January, he moved swiftly to suppress the movement, issuing executive orders equating pro-Palestine activism with so-called antisemitism.

[…]

Growing calls for boycott and divestment

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign, launched two decades ago in protest of Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land, has gained extraordinary new momentum since the onslaught on Gaza began in October 2023.

As the humanitarian catastrophe deepened in Gaza, global boycott initiatives also multiplied, from West Asia to Europe, the US, and beyond, targeting major multinational corporations for supporting Israel, leaving the Zionist regime increasingly isolated across economic, cultural, and sporting arenas.

Once deemed untouchable, major multinational corporations have faced mounting backlash and plummeting sales over their complicity in Israel’s genocidal war since October 7, 2023.

Major US brands such as McDonald’s, Burger King, Starbucks, KFC, Pizza Hut, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and Nestlé have become prime boycott targets for aiding or aligning with Israel.

Sportswear giants Reebok, Puma and Nike have also been hit for their commercial and supply ties to the regime, with some of these brands already distancing themselves from Israeli sports teams.

[…]

Israel’s cultural isolation has even reached Eurovision, where multiple countries, including the Netherlands, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, and Slovenia, have vowed to withdraw from the 2026 contest in Vienna if Israel is allowed to participate.

[…]

Sporting boycotts have also surged. The destruction of Gaza’s sporting infrastructure and the killing of hundreds of athletes have fueled global calls for Israel’s suspension from international competitions.

A new campaign — “Game Over Israel” — backed by athletes, fan associations, labor unions, and human rights groups, urges national football federations to refuse to play Israeli teams and calls on FIFA and UEFA to suspend Israel entirely.

[…]

The backlash has been so stark that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself acknowledged it last month, warning that Israel is facing a “kind of isolation” that could last for years, adding that the regime has no choice but to stand on its own.

[…]

Between the 1950s and 1990s, South Africa faced a strong boycott movement that, little by little, turned it into a pariah. South African products were pulled from grocery stores in the West, campaigners urged divestment and bank exits, and many musicians refused to play in the apartheid state.

A sporting boycott saw South Africa’s exclusion from international sporting competitions like cricket and eventually rugby.

The world calls it genocide

Israel now faces a genocide case before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in a landmark case brought by South Africa, for violating international law by committing genocidal acts.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has also issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

A UN independent international commission of inquiry concluded last month that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza after dilly-dallying for nearly two years.

The International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), a 500-member academic body founded in 1994, also admitted last month that Israel’s policies and actions in Gaza, especially since October 2023, violate all five conditions outlined in the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

[…]

The shift is particularly striking among Israeli scholars. Shmuel Lederman, a genocide researcher at Israel’s Open University and University of Haifa, says that nearly all Israeli experts in genocide studies now agree Israel is committing genocide — a view echoed by Raz Segal, an Israeli genocide scholar at Stockton University, who was among the first to describe Israel’s assault as “a textbook case of intent to commit genocide.”

Omer Bartov, an Israeli-American genocide scholar, initially hesitated but later concluded in 2024 that Israel’s Gaza war “is genocide.”

Likewise, Amos Goldberg, Chair in Holocaust Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, declared that “Gaza does not exist anymore — what is happening is genocide.”

This view is now widely shared across the global academic community.

Scholars such as William Schabas (Middlesex University), Adam Jones (University of British Columbia), Martin Shaw (Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals), Ernesto Verdeja (University of Notre Dame), Anthony Dirk Moses (City University of New York), UğurÜmitÜngör (University of Amsterdam), and Iva Vukušić (Utrecht University) have all identified Israel’s actions as genocidal.

An investigation by the Dutch newspaper NRC in May found that nearly all leading genocide experts worldwide — from the US, Europe, Australia, and the occupied territories — now concur that Israel’s war on Gaza meets the legal and scholarly definition of genocide.

As British scholar Martin Shaw summarized, “the dam of Gaza genocide denial has broken.”

World leaders turn against Israel

Since the beginning of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, a growing number of world leaders have begun openly blaming the Israeli regime for its war crimes.

At last month’s UN General Assembly, Netanyahu — the chief architect of the mass killings in Gaza — was met with boos and walkouts as delegates left the hall in protest during his speech.

World leaders used the occasion to rally in support of Palestinians and to condemn the ongoing genocide in Gaza, with the plight of Palestinians dominating discussions throughout the assembly.

Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva denounced the war as an “unjustifiable genocide” made possible by those who could have stopped it, warning that “international law is being buried with Palestinian children.”

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa cited growing global consensus that Israel is committing genocide, recalling the ICJ case against Israel and urging the UN to act decisively.

Chile’s Gabriel Boric compared Israel’s actions to the Holocaust and demanded that Netanyahu face trial at the ICJ, while Colombia’s Gustavo Petro went further—calling for an international army to “liberate Palestine” and slamming the US and NATO for enabling genocide.

Barbados’ Mia Mottley, Iraq’s Abdul Latif Rashid, and Spain’s King Felipe VI all condemned Israel’s atrocities and Western double standards.

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian called Israel’s “Greater Israel” project delusional and genocidal, while Senegal’s President Bassírou Faye described Gaza’s suffering as “indescribable,” urging the world not to look away.

During the same UNGA summit, several Western countries, including Australia, France, Canada and the United Kingdom, formally recognized the State of Palestine — a symbolic yet significant step that underscores Israel’s eroding global standing, growing public disapproval of its actions, and a potential shift toward long-overdue accountability after years of impunity.

While many nations and leaders have historically stood by Palestine and defended its right to self-determination, most Western governments have long been staunch supporters of the occupying Israeli regime, backing it politically, financially, and militarily for decades.

However, public opinion in Europe and the United States is shifting. Once largely sympathetic to the Zionist cause, more people are now becoming aware of the Israeli regime’s atrocities and are increasingly demanding that their governments end their support for its actions in Gaza.

A recent Washington Post poll found that 61 percent of American Jews believe Israel has committed war crimes in Gaza, and nearly 40 percent say its actions amount to genocide.

The report, published on Sunday, revealed that many American Jews sharply disapprove of Israel’s actions in Gaza.

American Jews are increasingly dissatisfied with the current Israeli cabinet, with 68 percent expressing disapproval of Netanyahu’s leadership, a decline of 20 percentage points from a Pew Research Center poll conducted five years ago, the report added.

Many respondents told The Post that they initially supported Israel’s military offensive but, as the war dragged on with little progress against the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, they became appalled by Israel’s atrocities against Gaza’s civilian population.

The poll also revealed a generational divide. Only 36 percent of Jewish Americans aged 18 to 34 said they feel emotionally attached to Israel, a remarkably low figure compared with older generations.

What was once unthinkable — a public reckoning with Zionism itself — has now become part of mainstream debate across the West.
