Trump’s First Two Months

Picture background

Donald Jeffries

Meet the new Trump, same as the old Trump.

Well, the bloom is off the Trumpenstein rose. It was a giddy start to his second term, where it seemed like perhaps he was finally going to fulfill some of his many promises. With people like RFK, Jr., and Tulsi Gabbard, and Kash Patel in his cabinet, and the initial DOGE disclosures, it was hard not to feel at least some bit of optimism.

But the warm and fuzzy rush of hope has subsided. We still hear snatches here and there about some new DOGE disclosure, some outrageous waste of taxpayer money. And the other side, the hopelessly deranged “Woke” Left, predictably claims that all of the DOGE reports are fake, and have been “debunked.” By somebody. Anybody. There can’t possibly be waste, fraud and abuse in our sacred government agencies! Who could even imagine such a thing? But the disclosures seem to be on pause. When are they auditing the Pentagon? The CIA? The FBI? The IRS? The HHS? The Federal Reserve? And with the all the outrageous USAID revelations, what prosecutions are planned? Who will be held responsible? Will there, as always, be no one in power who is held accountable for great crimes against the people?

The epitome of what I call the Trumpenstein Project came during, and after, Trump’s recent speech before Congress, which for unknown reasons wasn’t called the State of the Union address. As usual, Trump said many good things, and many dumb things. He came out strongly for freedom of speech and against censorship, which is something few presidents have done. But then a few days later, he took to his Truth Social platform, and threatened to prosecute and deport college students who engage in “illegal” protests, whatever that is. Well, actually we know exactly what he meant. He meant no protesting against Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians. That is the Holocaust The Dare Not Speak its Name. Free speech except when it comes to Zionism, kind of an extension of the worldwide holocaust “denial” laws. Perhaps naysayers will be sent to FEMA camps, in lieu of Siberia.

We’ve just seen the release of some 80,000 (or 63,000- pick your source) files related to the JFK assassination, with the promise of more to come. I’ve searched through some of it, and there are a few very interesting things. Like the fifteen page memo from JFK’s close aide Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., warning of the CIA becoming a power unto itself, and also documenting Kennedy’s gave concerns about the Agency. Then there was the item that discloses James Jesus (yes, that was really his middle name) Angleton recruited twenty year old Marine Lee Harvey Oswald into the CIA. Angleton monitored the future patsy for years, and had a huge file on him sitting on his desk the week before the assassination. There are countless references to Israel in these files, including the strong Israeli connections Angleton had. And we learn that the CIA was asking that all references to Israel be redacted. So there’s that.

Another real curiosity is a file verifying the urban legend that JFK, Jr. sent a threatening note to then Senator Joe Biden in 1994, calling him a “traitor.” There is no further context. Why would young Kennedy use such an explosive term? Whatever it means, it should draw our interest. The files tell the story of CIA official Gary Underhill, whom the wild and crazy “conspiracy theorists” had claimed was blabbering about the Agency killing JFK, and then was, of course, murdered himself. What else would we expect to happen? Well, now there’s an official memo discussing this. So please apologize to Penn Jones and all the other “wackos” like me. As Candace Owens said upon the release of the files, we were right. There are files that show how Castro, Khrushchev, and pretty much the rest of the world were laughing at the absurd Warren Commission fairy tale. Only our state controlled media believed it.

Tulsi Gabbard has done at least one good thing in her new role; she apparently was responsible for limiting, really pretty much eliminating, all the redactions which researchers have come to know and love, when sifting through these mostly meaningless documents. Trump, being Trumpenstein, was asked “so who killed JFK,” and gave a long, rambling response worthy of every American politician revered by the court historians. But he never answered the question. I know Tulsi believes there was a conspiracy, because I asked her myself at a campaign event five years or so ago. But Trump deserves some credit for finally releasing at least many of the documents (yes, an unknown number remain classified), and for doing so without redactions. There is now no question that Oswald worked in some capacity for the CIA, and you can add James Jesus Angleton to the list of known conspirators. JFK’s insane grandson Jack Schlossberg, by the way, is upset that the files were even released.

While obsessed souls like me were scouring these files like well heeled scholars and professors should be, Trumpenstein threw us one of his famous curve balls. More like a grenade. The Giant Orange Man suddenly decided to bomb Yemen. Poor little Yemen, target of so much presidential ire, going back to when the beloved Barack Obama slaughtered an entire wedding party, to defend our freedom. Ron Paul- who has been advising Elon Musk and his DOGE project- was among Trump’s severe critics, charging that he’d been responsible for the deaths of dozens of civilians, including women and children. The target of this nonsensical attack were the dreaded Houthis, a heretofore unheard of extremely dangerous terrorist group, which had supposedly been acting like pirates, stopping our ships, etc.

[…]

This brought back reminders of when Trump 1.0 abruptly assassinated the heretofore unheard of World’s Most Dangerous Terrorist, Qasem Soleimani, in early 2020. Right before the World’s Greatest Psyop emerged upon the scene. I remember how we all breathed a huge sigh of relief at the time, just before we started donning masks, social distancing, and mindlessly obeying a series of ridiculous “mandates.” Finally, we were free from the World’s Most Dangerous Terrorist. And now, Trump 2.0 has done it again. Saved us from the World’s Most Invisible Terrorists. The dreaded Houthis, just like Soleimani, hale from the shores of Iran. “State sponsor of terrorism,” whatever that means.

[…]

So it looks like we’ve taken a bit of a break from the DOGE disclosures. I haven’t heard another word about that unbelievable windfall Elon Musk suggested- $5,000 for every taxpayer. That’s what I’m talking about! Haven’t they finished auditing USAID yet? Didn’t some judge order the USAID workers to be rehired, if they’d even been fired? That’s even more unconstitutional than DOGE firing them in the first place. If they were fired. It’s hard to tell what is really happening, or has happened, anywhere in America 2.0. Lots of tweets, ultimately signifying nothing. When does that rumored audit of the Pentagon begin? Didn’t Trump agree with that? If so, why did Trump just approve yet another increase to the defense budget? I mean, if they audit that place, they’re going to find a lot more than $500 toilet seats. I guess they needed the extra billions to bomb Yemen, and destroy the World’s Most Invisible Terrorists.

Meanwhile, the Left doesn’t seem too concerned with the latest bombing in Yemen. After all, when their hero Barack Obama killed that wedding party, not a peep of protest was heard from the Hollywood hills. Maybe some nonwhite members of Congress mentioned it. I’m not sure. I had just started blogging sporadically over on Word Press, and was finishing up Hidden History. I can’t recall if I even mentioned that in the book. Obama did a lot of really bad things. Speaking of the Obamas, Michelle just launched a new podcast, with her brother. They had a disappointingly low number of listeners. Maybe they had more than my own humble podcast, “I Protest” (I obviously am smitten with that name), but you can bet it was nowhere near as interesting. Michelle’s brother looked very, very feminine. I mean super feminine. Almost transgender feminine. And with his sister looking so masculine, well….

But back to Trumpenstein. I guess I’m going to have to file my taxes yet again. The IRS hasn’t been audited, let alone abolished, as Trump has threatened to do. And he hasn’t stopped subjecting Social Security income- which were withheld taxes to begin with- to taxation, so I suppose I’ll be paying a lot again this year. All those blue collar workers depending on overtime probably wonder about his promise regarding the abolition of taxes on that. And servers; waiting for Trump to stop the tax on tips. Trump has even thrown out the option of stopping all income taxes. And then, I think last week, he suggested that those who make less than $150,000 should pay no taxes at all. Cool. That would benefit close to 99 percent of the U.S. population. I’m sure his fellow Republicans loved that one. But where was Bernie Sanders, and the rest of the Democrats, to congratulate him on such a great idea?

Trumpenstein has taken his propensity for grandiose, contradictory promises to a whole new level in his second administration. What happened to the mass deportations? They aren’t even being discussed now. They aren’t being protested. Probably because the numbers suggest that he has actually been deporting fewer illegals than Joe Biden. How exactly can you deport fewer illegal immigrants than Joe Biden? That can’t be easy. It would take a lot of effort. I mean, really just having ICE actually do its job would ensure more deportations, wouldn’t it? Now, we’re told that the number entering the country illegally is way down. Okay, cool. But what about the 20 million, 30 million, or 50 million who are already here illegally? I know- he’s going after the dangerous, violent criminals first. Like those 300 or whatever members of some heretofore unheard of gang that were recently deported to El Salvador.

Now, what makes this deportation of a relative handful of illegals even less inspiring is the fact that the United States, under hardline anti-immigrant “racist” Donald Trump, is paying El Salvador some $6 million to jail them. What? I’m certainly no Ivy Leaguer, but that doesn’t seem like a good deal to me. And I thought Trump was the best dealmaker in the world. Somehow, this brought back memories of Mexico paying for that wall that never came to be. El Salvador apparently has quite a shiny new “mega prison,” where it will house “terrorists,” and presumably even more illegal immigrants from America. I wonder if the cost will go up for each new paltry roundup. Somehow, this doesn’t seem in line with DOGE’s attempts to cut waste, fraud, and abuse in government. I think it’s pretty wasteful to pay another country to take back migrants who came here illegally.

[…]

Still waiting for something great from RFK, Jr. Like Uncle Joe on Petticoat Junction, he’s moving kind of slow. Supposedly, he got the FDA to agree to removing harmful preservatives from foods, but all the details of that are missing. When will this happen? All unnatural preservatives? But RFK, Jr. did find time to inexplicably declare that “anti-Semitism” was a “mental illness” which has adversely affected the health of Americans. What? That’s not what we expected you to do, Bobby. And he also hopped onto the measles’ vaccine bandwagon, after what was apparently a death that really wasn’t from measles. When will HHS be audited? Has RFK, Jr. “cleaned house?” He really seems to have dropped from the public eye. He has a position I never thought they’d let him have. So let’s see some action! I had such high hopes. Please don’t make me think you’re just another compromised tool of the state.

Trump White House Eyeing Fort Knox Gold Sale to Fund ‘Budget-Neutral’ Bitcoin Reserve

Baxer Dmitry

Ever wonder why the government’s suddenly so curious about Fort Knox? If you think that DOGE, crypto regulations, and Bitcoin stockpiles is just noise, think again—it’s about putting the government, banks, and even you on the blockchain.

On Friday, Robert “Bo” Hines, executive director of the President’s Council of Advisers on Digital Assets, dropped a bombshell in a media interview: selling some of Fort Knox’s gold to buy Bitcoin could be in play, as long as it stays “budget-neutral.”

In his announcement, Trump emphasized that any future acquisition of Bitcoin by the U.S. government would be conducted in “budget-neutral” ways, meaning it would not increase federal spending or debt. Hines’ remarks align with this vision, pointing to creative funding methods that could leverage existing assets rather than new expenditures. He specifically cited Senator Cynthia Lummis’ BITCOIN bill as a potential model for such an approach.

The BITCOIN bill, introduced by Senator Lummis, proposes the creation of a strategic Bitcoin reserve aimed at bolstering the nation’s financial portfolio. Under the legislation, the government would acquire 1 million Bitcoin over a five-year period. To keep the plan budget-neutral, the bill suggests funding these purchases by “diversifying existing funds” within the Federal Reserve system.

The gold at Fort Knox has received national attention recently after President Donald Trump’s said that he and Elon Musk would like to go inside Fort Knox and see the gold for themselves, Trump then raised the question about whether or not the nation’s 147 million ounces of gold are still there.

Hines’ reference to this legislation indicates it could serve as a blueprint—or at least an inspiration—for the administration’s broader cryptocurrency ambitions.

The idea of offloading gold from Fort Knox, a symbol of U.S. economic stability for nearly a century, to invest in a volatile digital asset like Bitcoin marks a significant shift in federal financial strategy. While Hines did not confirm any concrete plans, his openness to the concept underscores the growing influence of cryptocurrency in government policy discussions.

As the Trump administration continues to explore innovative ways to integrate Bitcoin into the national economy, all eyes will be on how it balances tradition with this emerging digital frontier.

‘Entirely Man-made’: Boris Johnson Now Says COVID Leaked From Lab

Former U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson says the COVID-19 pandemic resulted from a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“The awful thing about the whole COVID catastrophe is that it appears to be entirely man-made in all its aspects,” Johnson wrote in his new memoir, “Unleashed.”

“Some scientists were clearly splicing bits of virus together like the witches in Macbeth — eye of bat and toe of frog — and oops, the frisky little critter jumped out of the test tube and started replicating all over the world,” Johnson wrote.

YouTube medical commentator John Campbell, Ph.D., agreed. “I couldn’t have put it better myself,” Campbell said on the latest episode of his YouTube program.

Johnson previously in public supported the theory that the pandemic was the result of animal-to-human transmission in a Wuhan animal market. He now says the U.K. fought the “anthropogenic disease” with “a growing panoply of restrictions that were literally medieval in their savagery and their consequences.”

Campbell praised Johnson for his honesty, calling it essential for restoring trust, though he doubted it would be enough.

The Daily Mail, which published Johnson’s remarks, also reported that COBRA, the U.K. government’s “secret emergency committee,” analyzed intelligence that pointed to the validity of the lab leak theory during the pandemic. The committee noted a “deafening” silence on their findings from the scientific and political community at the time.

“We actually know more by what is not said than what is said,” Campbell said, “because very often what is said is controlled.”

Campbell presented some of the key findings from the U.S. congressional report, “After Action Review of the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Lessons Learned and a Path Forward,” published in December 2024. The report also found the virus “most likely” emerged from a lab.

Campbell said “most likely” was as certain as any conclusion could be given the lack of data, which he attributed to the Chinese government’s failure to release key information.

He emphasized two key points supporting the lab leak theory: The Wuhan Institute of Virology’s gain-of-function research without adequate safety measures and the virus’s “single origin,” which is uncommon in natural pandemics. Additionally, no natural reservoir for the virus has been identified.

Quoting the report, Campbell said, “Since the select committee commenced its work in February 2023, more and more senior intelligence officials, politicians, science editors and scientists increasingly have endorsed the hypothesis that COVID-19 emerged as the result of a laboratory or research-related accident.”

He concluded, “Former prime minister seems convinced by the lab leak. I’m convinced. I think most of you are as well. Strange that a lot of aspects of legacy media seem to be still poo-pooing this self-evident belief.”

9/11 Family Members and Advocates Demand NIST Files on WTC Building 7

Engineers find evidence of explosives at WTC on 9-1-1!

By Gail Gage

A Major Push on “House Task Force” to Deliver Transparency

In light of today’s historic declassification and release of the JFK files, we also note that a new battle for truth is unfolding on Capitol Hill. The International Center for 9/11 Justice (IC911) has included key 9/11 truth advocates and family members in a major letter to call on the House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets to press for the immediate release of crucial National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) files related to World Trade Center Building 7 (WTC 7).

Letter to House Oversight Task Force re WTC 7 Files 03.11.25

These files, which have been shrouded in secrecy for more than two decades, will shed additional light on what really may have caused the sudden and mysterious collapse of WTC 7.

The NIST Cover-Up: What Are They Hiding?

For years, independent investigators have challenged NIST’s official report, which attributed the collapse of WTC 7 to fires alone — an unprecedented claim in the history of high-rise structural failures. We in the 9/11 Truth Movement have fought tirelessly to obtain the key data and computer models NIST used to reach this conclusion.

However, NIST has continuously refused to release these files, citing that it might ”jeopardize public safety” as justification for their secrecy. This refusal has fueled speculation that the agency’s report is flawed — or worse, deliberately misleading. According to leading experts, the unreleased data could expose major inconsistencies and even evidence of controlled demolition, a conclusion supported by numerous engineers, architects, and fire safety professionals.

9/11 Families: “We Deserve Answers”

Their calls have been echoed by former Congressman Curt Weldon, who has worked behind the scenes to push for deeper investigations into the intelligence failures and possible foreknowledge of the attacks. With growing bipartisan support in Congress, advocates believe the moment for long-overdue transparency may finally be at hand.

RichardGage911:UNLEASHED! interviewed both Congressman Weldon and fire Captain Raul Angulo regarding their effort for a Presidential Commission on 9/11.

The new push for disclosure comes as the Task Force, led by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, takes unprecedented steps toward exposing long-hidden federal documents on JFK, RFK, MLK, Epstein, COVID origins, and now, 9/11. Family members of 9/11 victims and expert researchers are demanding that Congress enforce the release of all withheld materials, arguing that the American public has a right to the full, unfiltered truth.

Congressional Pressure Builds

With the Task Force already taking aggressive steps toward declassifying key documents, pressure is mounting on NIST and the Department of Commerce, which oversees the agency. Rep. Tim Burchett, a key member of the Task Force, has signaled strong support for full disclosure, stating:

“There’s no excuse for keeping the American people in the dark. If these files contain nothing suspicious, then why are they still classified? It’s time to open them up.”

The momentum is undeniable. If the Task Force follows through on its promises, the long-awaited truth about WTC 7 may finally come to light. But the question remains: Will Congress have the courage to challenge the secrecy and demand full transparency?

Internal Emails Reveal Merck’s Negligence in Gardasil Safety Testing

Internal Emails Reveal Merck's Negligence in Gardasil Safety Testing

By Maryanne Demasi

A landmark lawsuit against Merck is underway in a Los Angeles courtroom, marking the company’s first jury trial over claims it misrepresented the safety of its highly profitable Gardasil HPV vaccine.

Newly declassified documents in the trial have revealed troubling details about Merck’s failure to conduct key safety tests.

Internal emails reveal that Merck knew its Gardasil vaccine was contaminated with HPV DNA fragments from the vaccine’s manufacturing process and lobbied regulators to bypass testing requirements.

Uncovering Residual DNA Contamination

Concerns over Gardasil’s residual DNA contamination have persisted for over a decade.

In 2011, Dr. Sin Hang Lee, a pathologist with extensive experience in DNA analysis, discovered high levels of HPV DNA fragments in 16 Gardasil vials from several countries, including the US, New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Poland, and France. See previous story.

These DNA fragments, originating from the plasmid DNA used in vaccine production to code for the HPV virus’ L1 protein, are supposed to be removed during manufacturing.

Instead, high levels of HPV DNA fragments remain in the final product and tightly bind to the aluminium adjuvant (AAHS). Unlike free DNA molecules in solution, the aluminium-bound HPV DNA is stabilised and resists breakdown by enzymes.

Once injected, these aggregates are absorbed by immune cells and activate Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9), triggering pro-inflammatory responses.

According to Dr Lee, for some individuals, particularly those with genetic predispositions, this can lead to autoimmune conditions such as Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) or, in rare cases, sudden death.

Notably, Gardasil’s package inserts make no mention of the presence of HPV DNA or its potential to trigger immune responses.

Internal Emails Reveal Negligence and Cover-Up

Dr. Lee is set to testify in the lawsuit, and his witness statement provides key evidence suggesting Merck was aware of the issue of HPV DNA contamination but failed to act.

Following Dr. Lee’s findings in 2011, Merck was asked by the Swiss drug regulator, Swissmedic, to provide data on HPV DNA levels in Gardasil.

In response, Merck’s Chief Medical Officer, Carlos Sattler, made a revealing admission to his colleagues in an internal email. On Sept 8, 2011, Sattler admitted, “We did not specifically look for the HPV L1 plasmid DNA.”

Despite this, Sattler downplayed the significance of the contamination, stating that Merck had “no plans” to conduct any testing and that, even if small amounts were present, there was “no evidence that this would be associated with any risk.”

The next day, Merck scientist Annie Sturgess confirmed, “We have not directly measured HPV DNA” in the vaccine.

Merck attempted to satisfy Swissmedic by estimating the level of HPV DNA using “yeast DNA” content as a proxy, but the regulator rejected this approach.

Dr Thomas Hottiger of Swissmedic warned Merck that its method was “not entirely fit for purpose” and explained that the company would need to use a PCR test specific for detecting HPV plasmid DNA, which behaves differently from yeast DNA.

Merck’s North American representative, Dave Wohlpart, expressed reluctance to perform such testing and proposed to his colleagues that Merck “not do testing” altogether.

On October 21, 2011, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) made a public announcement claiming that Merck had actually known that “small quantities of residual recombinant HPV L1-specific DNA fragments remain in the vaccine.”

This disclosure came as a surprise to Merck.

Frank Vandendriessche, Merck’s Director of Regulatory Affairs in Europe, reacted to the FDA’s announcement, writing in an email that the company had “never tested specifically for HPV L1 DNA fragments.”

Merck used the situation to its advantage to suggest it was now a moot point. Armed with the FDA’s announcement, Merck lobbied Swissmedic to withdraw its request for new data.

Swissmedic obliged, granting a waiver for specific HPV DNA testing. Instead, Merck was instructed to make a minor change to the product’s label—effectively burying the issue.

Regulatory Failure: Complicity or Incompetence?

Gardasil was approved and distributed globally without proper testing for HPV L1 DNA contamination. Instead of enforcing rigorous safety standards, regulators allowed Merck’s flawed testing procedures to pass unchecked.

Even when evidence of contamination surfaced, regulators largely overlooked it, revealing a pattern of negligence and wilful blindness.

Their reluctance to demand accountability suggests either regulatory capture or gross incompetence—both of which have devastating consequences for the millions who have received the vaccine.

Crimes Against Humanity: Serbia’s Lawsuit Against NATO. More Than 15 Tons of Uranium Bombs Dropped on Yugoslavia in 1999

By  Natali Milenkovic

In 2022, Srdjan Aleksic, a lawyer from Nis, Serbia began a legal process against NATO. Since 2017 (when the gathering of evidence began) until this day over four thousand citizens of Serbia (including Kosovo and Metohija) have shown interest in suing NATO due to their own cancer diagnoses and diagnoses of their family members that they believe have a direct connection to the bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999 where depleted uranium ammunition was used.

NATO has already confessed that they have dropped over 15 ton of uranium over Kosovo and Metohija and the southern parts of Serbia such as Presevo, Bujanovac and Vranje.

As a result of these bombings, over thirty thousand people every year in Serbia is diagnosed with cancer, this in a country that before the bombings in 1999 had less than seven thousand citizens diagnosed with cancer every year. Serbia is now the country in Europe that has the largest number of cancer diagnoses and the second in the world.

Andjelo Fiore Tartalja a lawyer from Italy is a part of Srdjan Aleksic legal team and is advising him in regard to the lawsuits filed against NATO on the behalf of Serbian citizens.

Tartalja has won over 350 cases in Italy where he has proven that Italian soldiers and officers in peacekeeping forces that were stationed in Kosovo and Metohija (after the bombings), where the largest amount of uranium bombs were thrown, have been diagnosed with cancer and many of which have died as a direct consequence of the uranium in NATO’s bombs. In their blood analysis 500 times more metal was found than normal. Over seven thousand Italian soldiers and officers have been diagnosed with cancer after their service in Kosovo and Metohija and 400 have passed away. It is also important to stress the fact that not only in Serbia has there been a huge increase in cancer diagnoses but also in neighbouring countries such as Bulgaria, Romania, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is believed that the particles from uranium bombs expand extensively after hitting their target (depending on a number of factors) and that it takes over 4.5 billion years for uranium to decay and that it stays in the soil for thousands of years and perhaps even longer. So not only is NATO responsible for “crimes against humanity” when using these bombs and leaving behind residual mines, they have committed the crime of Ecocide, where they have damaged and destructed Serbia’s ecosystem and biodiversity. Although this has not yet been recognized as a crime under international law, it is being contemplated so both humans, corporations and armies can be held accountable for the crimes of harmful pollution.

Srdjan Aleksic and his team of lawyers have so far collected the medical documentation and power of attorney documentation of 1.500 citizens and 35 cases have been field in the higher court in Belgrade. Every month they file 10 new cases and will continue to do so. In the cases where the plaintiff is deceased, family members have forwarded the medical documentation and will continue the procedure on their behalf, and even these cases will be field in the higher court in Belgrade.

Srdjan Aleksic and his team of lawyers are not interested in economic gain and are not charging their clients for their legal work since most of the plaintiffs are from the southern parts of Serbia that are extremely poor and have already sold almost everything they possess only to be treated for their cancer. It is believed that more plaintiff`s would sue NATO but the taxes just to begin the legal process in Serbia are 350 Euro and most people in the southern parts of Serbia do not have the means to pay these taxes. Srdjan Aleksic also has a personal agenda since his mother and many of his family members from his village near Bujanovac died of cancer after the NATO bombings.

Due to the increase of cancer diagnoses in Bosnia and Hercegovina after the NATO bombings in 1995 many citizens are contemplating suing NATO believing that the uranium used then as well is the cause of their cancer diagnoses. They are currently waiting to see the outcome of the trials in Serbia before they begin their legal procedures.

NATO has replied, stating that they have immunity and that they do not have to answer to the higher court in Belgrade because of the Transit Agreement signed in 2005 between Serbia and NATO and Serbia joining the Partnership for Peace in 2006.

The Transit Agreement and Partnership for Peace have no connection to the legal cases mentioned in this article, the Transit Agreement is simply an agreement that allows allied forces serving as part of KFOR to pass through Serbian territory. The Partnership of Peace is Serbia cooperating with NATO and the Tribunal in Hague. Srdjan Aleksic says that immunity cannot be implemented retroactively since the bombings took place in 1999 and the agreements were signed six years later. The trials have been postponed due to the death of Colonel Dragan Stojcic (served 280 days at the border between Kosovo and Serbia and in Kosovo) that passed away due to his cancer. He was the first plaintiff to sue NATO. His wife will continue his procedure in court.

Burgess ‘Likely’ Trump’s Pick to Lead CDC, But Ladapo Still in the Mix, Sources Say

by Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D.

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo and former Texas Republican Congressman Michael Burgess have emerged as potential nominees to lead the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), CBS News reported.

The White House last week withdrew President Donald Trump’s previous nominee, Dr. Dave Weldon, shortly before his U.S. Senate confirmation meeting.

CBS News cited unnamed administration officials, who said they are trying to “get it right” with their next nominee. The news outlet said the Trump administration is “seeking to address concerns about a prolonged vacancy at the agency or the prospect of another embarrassing about-face.”

Ladapo and Burgess have support from “some of President Trump’s allies.”
Other potential nominees have declined offers, CBS News reported.

Drug safety advocate Kim Witczak, a member of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee, said both potential nominees “represent bold departures from the status quo, but for very different reasons.”

Witczak said:

“Ladapo has been outspoken in challenging prevailing public health narratives, especially around COVID-19, and would likely bring a disruptive, but much-needed shake-up to an institution in desperate need of reform. He also knows how to navigate political landmines.

“Burgess, a physician and former Congressman, brings extensive policy experience, but his long tenure in Washington may not signal the kind of transformational change many are hoping for.”

The eventual nominee will likely face questions from Senators about the rise in measles cases, the bird flu outbreak and their stance on vaccines.

This will be the first time a nominee to lead the CDC will undergo a Senate confirmation process — the result of a 2022 Congressional amendment.

Meanwhile, Susan Monarez, Ph.D., previously deputy director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health, is serving as acting director of the agency.

This Substack is reader-supported. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

Burgess shifted away from past support for COVID vaccines

Reuters, citing an unnamed source “familiar with the matter,” reported that Burgess is the “likely nominee” for the nomination to lead the CDC, adding that a final decision has not yet been made.

Reuters also reported that the CDC rescheduled for April 15-16 a meeting of its vaccine advisory panel. The agency postponed the meeting last month.

Burgess is a former obstetrician and gynecologist who in January retired from Congress after 22 years. He led the U.S. House of Representatives doctors’ caucus for several years until his retirement.

Reuters reported that Burgess initially supported COVID-19 vaccines, telling Congress during the pandemic that the vaccines are “safe and effective tools that have been proven to protect Americans from preventable, life-threatening diseases.” He also spoke about the need to confront “vaccine hesitancy.”

Burgess later shifted his position. In a March 2022 tweet, he expressed support for a Congressional resolution to end the CDC’s mask mandate for public transportation, saying that “Americans are tired of nonsense policies.”

In a January 2023 tweet, Burgess criticized the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers, calling it an “egregious overstep.” He has also expressed support for the U.S. withdrawal from the World Health Organization.

At a 2023 Congressional hearing, Burgess said, “We all share the goal of rebuilding the faith and trust in the CDC, because I think most of us recognize we need a well-functioning and respected CDC in order to protect the American people.”

Ladapo called for end to mRNA COVID shots, water fluoridation

Ladapo, Florida’s surgeon general since 2021, “has drawn controversy on a number of issues,” including his stance on COVID-19 vaccines, CBS News reported.

In 2022, Ladapo recommended against the administration of COVID-19 vaccines for healthy children, making Florida the first state to break with official CDC guidance.

The next year, he called on federal public health officials to “publicly” explain 12 key issues related to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

Last year, Ladapo called for a halt in the administration of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, stating that the FDA and CDC did not adequately respond to his letter with questions about the issue.

Earlier this month, he supported Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ call for the CDC to stop recommending the COVID-19 vaccine for children.

Ladapo has also questioned establishment guidance on water fluoridation. In November 2024, he advised local governmental authorities across Florida to stop fluoridating their water supply, citing the neuropsychiatric risks associated with the practice. Ladapo repeated these calls earlier this month.

According to CBS News, Ladapo’s positions mean his confirmation prospects “could be steep.” But his positions have also earned him “some prominent supporters” — including DeSantis.

In a statement to CBS News, Weldon expressed his support for Ladapo:

“I thoroughly support Dr. Ladapo for CDC director. He should be at the top of President Trump’s list. He has done a great job for us here in Florida and his education and experience make him the perfect choice.

“Whoever they pick, to get past [Republican Sen. Bill] Cassidy, it’s best if they have never said anything remotely critical of the childhood vaccine program. Though 90% of parents are refusing COVID shots for their kids, 50% are refusing the flu shot, and 10% are refusing the measles.”

Cassidy previously wavered in his support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) — which oversees federal public health agencies, including the CDC and FDA.

Cassidy ultimately supported Kennedy’s nomination after he said Kennedy committed to meet or speak with him multiple times monthly, and to include Cassidy in the HHS hiring process.

Weldon suggested that Cassidy’s opposition contributed to the White House withdrawing his nomination, CBS News reported. But one former congressman has suggested that a pathway still exists for Weldon to be named CDC director.

In a statement released Thursday, Hon. Dan Burton, former chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, called for the recess appointment of Weldon to lead the CDC. Burton cited Weldon’s willingness to hear a “balanced perspective” on vaccines, as a key reason why Weldon should be appointed.

The U.S. Constitution allows the president to unilaterally appoint a candidate to a federal position while Congress is in recess. The appointee can remain in the position until the end of the following Senate session.

‘The days of ‘trust us, we’re the experts’ are over’

An HHS spokesperson on Thursday confirmed for Reuters that the CDC’s vaccine advisory committee’s previously postponed meeting has been rescheduled for April 15-16.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, or ACIP, helps set the vaccination schedule for children and adults and issues recommendations to the CDC regarding vaccine approval.

According to HHS, the meeting was postponed to accommodate public comment. The rescheduled meeting will include an update on the measles outbreak.

According to Endpoints News, the draft agenda of the postponed meeting included a review of new COVID-19, flu, RSV and meningitis vaccines and the hospitalization of five people who received Valneva’s chikungunya vaccine.

Endpoints reported that it remains unclear if the agenda for the meeting will change, although unnamed sources said the meeting might be shortened and some agenda items might be cut.

Witczak called for transparency regarding the topics ACIP will discuss next month. She said:

“When public confidence in health institutions is at an all-time low, reducing transparency and limiting dialogue can send the wrong message. What’s being cut, and why? The public deserves to know. It raises red flags about what’s being deprioritized and a shortened meeting could undermine meaningful deliberation.”

Witczak called ACIP’s “lack of independence” its “most glaring deficiency.”

“Time and again, ACIP has served as a backdoor endorsement panel for vaccine products, rather than a critical oversight body. Conflicts of interest, fast-tracked approvals, groupthink and the absence of long-term safety data have severely undermined its credibility.”

She added:

“For too long, regulatory and advisory bodies have been captured by the very industries they are supposed to oversee. Leadership at the CDC and by extension, ACIP, must reflect a renewed commitment to public trust, transparency and safety. The days of ‘trust us, we’re the experts’ are over.”

President Trump’s New York

Dr Naomi Wolfe

In January of 2025, President Trump took office. The week of January 13-20, Brooklyn was still in chaos. So was Manhattan. It was a chaos I have sought to describe in past essays, but things had reached a crescendo.

All of the world, it seemed, had descended upon the Five Boroughs.

From the floodgates that opened in 2022, and right up until Inauguration Day, Brooklyn and Manhattan had been under siege. I had never seen anything like it.

Due to the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of illegal newcomers, with thousands more arriving every day, the city had been transformed. There was no coherent culture, social contract, understanding of how one gets through a day. It was a circus of confusion, entitlement, aggression and chaos, all of it performed upside-down.

These millions had been ‘magicked’ to this city, then housed, cosseted, clothed and fed, on the dime of the Biden administration (meaning: on our taxpayer dime) and with the funding of the United Nations.

Manhattan and Brooklyn had been thronged with strangers – -people who were not the usual newcomers to the city who arrive legally, have family or business here, and then set about soberly to learn the language, seek out a job, pay taxes, raise kids, and settle into an American life. Legal immigrants in the past have been self-selected; they have thought for a long time about immigrating to America, taken steps to do so under the law, planned and prepared. They have been self-selected in the past, too, because it is their own drive or initiative, without external assistance, that led them to make it lawfully to our shores.

In contrast – and this is not a racist or even ethnocentric observation; it is about people differently situated, differently motivated — the millions abruptly, unlawfully streamed among us, were indeed deeply, truly strangers. Unlike earlier waves of legal immigrants, these folks were not self-selecting, self-propelled, or self-assisted in their journeys. They were people who seemed to have been scooped out of whole villages far elsewhere; people who had been doing other things entirely, making other plans altogether; and who then had been simply lifted up into space, transported, transplanted. They were indeed hoisted up out of other lives, other communities, other sensibilities, virtually other timelines, and transported hither, via the immensely powerful assistance of some of the most massive forces on earth.

Given the massive apparatus built up on three staging nations in order thus to transport this tide of humanity – that is to say, the immense powers and the millions of dollars deployed by the US State Department and by the UN, which I chronicled in my essay “What is a Culture?” — this sense of chaos and alienation that engulfed the city was not surprising.

Their arrival created an immense cultural strain. According to “City & State: New York”:

“More than 210,000 migrants have arrived in New York City since the spring of 2022, many hailing from countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, though a significant number have also come from China and countries in Africa. City officials, advocacy groups, school communities, nonprofits and a bevy of elected officials have mobilized to welcome the ongoing flow of new arrivals, but it’s been a massive – and costly – undertaking.

[…]

By August of 2023, the grift was out of control: Mayor Adams expected to spend “$12 billion to house and care for migrant arrivals” for the upcoming three years . . .

[…]

Events of 2024 were as unbelievable, when it came to the Biden administration’s policies that simply opened doors to millions of illegal newcomers, then paid for their every need:

“June 28, 2024: Biden extends Temporary Protected Status to around 300,000 Haitians living in the U.S.

July 2, 2024: The city expands a pilot program to over 7,300 migrant families staying in city-funded hotels, pledging to give them debit cards to buy their own food.”

[…]

The perception that Americans were starting to have by that time — that these numbers represented “an invasion” and that illegal newcomers were being given debit cards, free housing, free medical care and other benefits unavailable to American citizens — was true.

After Election Day, the about-face in policies in New York related to illegal immigrants, was also dramatic:

“Nov. 7, 2024: The city moves to end the controversial program that provided debit cards to migrant families so they could buy food and other essentials. […]

Dec. 4, 2024: News breaks that the city is racing to remove National Guard members from migrant shelters ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Dec. 10, 2024: The city announces plans to shut down at least two dozen migrant shelters across the city and upstate by the end of March, including the sweeping family shelter at Floyd Bennett Field. The latter, which is on federal land, is expected to close by Jan. 15 – a few days before Trump’s inauguration.

Dec. 12, 2024: After meeting with Trump’s incoming “border czar” in early December, Adams told reporters that he and Tom Homan are on the same page. “We’re going to protect the rights of immigrants in this city that are hard-working, giving back to the city in a real way,” Adams said. “We’re not going to be a safe haven for those who commit repeated, violent crimes against innocent migrants, immigrants and long standing New Yorkers.”

We will look back on 2022-2024 with astonishment. President Trump has referred to the 30 million illegal entrants to our nation as an “invasion”, and he is right to do so. It is clear now, not just in the United States and Canada, but throughout Western Europe, that “Mr Global” has weaponized immigration to destroy existing cultures, and make war on sovereign nations — a cynical enough misuse of the bodies of millions of people; people who are often without options, to start with.

This was a marginalized, “right-wing” view a year ago, but it is now a common perception throughout the West and across political perspectives. There is no escaping this conclusion.

By transplanting hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people, from nations that are themselves broken in many ways, to the heart of Manhattan and Brooklyn, the Biden administration created an atmosphere of chaos, incomprehension and fear.

[…]

I could go on and on. The bottom line is that it is not racist or even ethnocentric, to object passionately to the “invasion” of the United States, or any Western country (or any country), by illegal immigrants. When you import people in large groups, you also import their cultures. We need to face the fact that the freedom, rule of law, relative peaceableness, and high level of civil society functioning, of Western nations, is an incredible achievement and an incredible gift. When you import millions of people who are not acculturated to these norms and rules, you also will import the reflexes and expectations of those who live in failed states, or under corrupt rulers, tyrannical or unequal laws, and oppressive theocracies. You simply cannot sustain the high level of functioning civil society, the peaceableness, rule of law, legal equality, etc, that characterize the West, under these conditions. And we need to stop being shy about saying so aloud.

You saw this in New York and Brooklyn by the end of 2024. Central American women and even small children, as I have described elsewhere, were being freely trafficked in the city’s subway system; women who spoke no English were forced, it appeared, to sell candy and beg for money all day long in subways, with unconscious or drugged babies strapped to their backs. Teenagers, working during school hours, had to man carts selling fruit and ices . . .

[…]

In city parks, couples who were recent arrivals, laughed as their children did things that are considered impolite or inappropriate here, such as engaging in overt sexualized play. A lot of weird public sexuality took hold of the city, as there were no longer shared cultural mores. I witnessed at least one single man masturbating while stretched out on a park bench, looking at porn on his phone, quite oblivious to passers-by, including children. I had the misfortune of taking a cab with a recently arrived driver who was watching porn on his phone as he drove. Someone else posted a video of an immigrant couple apparently having intercourse while zipped up into a sleeping bag, in full daylight in Prospect Park.

[…]

Taking the subways had become terrifying. People shouted on subway cars, or fought with one another. A lot of men with Central American gang tattoos appeared. Aggression and violence seemed just below the surface. That wry New York City chit chat, that pleasant or whimsical interaction with the stranger, was gone, seemingly for good. We all sat, on our journeys, in tense apprehension, closed in on ourselves. No one gestured to anyone to go first; opening doors for one another was a memory of the past.

[…]

Then — Inauguration Day came.

On January 21, 2025, I took a flight to Toronto. On the subway that day, I noticed that things were very quiet. On my flight to Canada, almost the entire flight consisted of recent arrivals to America; they were mostly Haitian, Central American, and, for some reason, the flight included many Sikhs. These people had immense loads of luggage with them. It seemed as if they had given up and were leaving the United States. My intuition was confirmed when I saw most of them waiting to be processed at Immigration in Canada. Having fled the US, almost the entire planeload of people was intending to stay over the border, where regulations against at-will immigration, seemed almost non-existent.

The emotion on the flight, though, was not one of outrage or despair. While this is just a gut feeling, I felt that the energy among these people fleeing President Trump and ICE — for that was what was happening — was oddly calm and accepting, even resolute. It was a feeling of, “Well, we got caught. Fair enough.”

The Canadian officials processing the newcomers, looked as pained as our Border Patrol had done, back in the bad old days of the Biden administration. The officials asked the arrivals if they knew anyone in Toronto or had any means of support, and when little evidence to that effect was forthcoming, they bitterly enough had to just wave them onward to sign up for Canadian benefits and take up their residency in the country.

Please fast forward. It is now only March. There have been dramatic crackdowns against illegal immigration across the United States. President Trump has revoked legal status for 530,000 entrants into the country. Members of Tren de Aragua, the Venezuelan gang, were dramatically deported to a violent prison, the transfer of humans complete with images of chains and shaved heads. Thousands of agents have been directed to assist with this crackdown on illegal immigration — meaning, that agents are being allowed at last to do their jobs.

What is amazing is how New York City feels now. You look around and it is so much less…crowded. Many people across the country are noticing that malls during the day now are almost empty; parks and subways, are so much less full. People are vertiginously realizing how many, how very many, people in America were in fact here illegally. And Americans are processing how much money, taxpayer money, went into giving these millions of strangers, benefits that we ourselves never had.

It is hard to describe in detail, but the social contract in New York feel as if it is back. We are almost all, of whatever race, ethnicity or country of national origin, Americans again, or lawfully visiting. It feels extraordinarily peaceful; and restful. Taking subways, that arterial experience that binds all New Yorkers, is fine once again. No one is listening to a phone aloud, and if they do, other passengers gently shush them with a look.
