Congressman Matt Gaetz warns that a senior DHS official told him there are at least five “assassination teams” inside the United States targeting Donald Trump.

Gaetz made the comments after gunman Ryan Routh tried to kill the former president after hiding in the bushes for nearly 12 hours outside Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

Routh somehow knew where Trump would be to within 500 yards despite the round of golf not being on the former president’s schedule and the decision to play being last minute.

Florida Republican Rep. Gaetz told the Real America’s Voice podcast that even before the second assassination attempt, he was given some shocking news.

“I had a senior official from the Department of Homeland Security in my office before the second assassination attempt saying what he has assessed is that there are five known assassination teams in the United States, three inspired by other governments, two that are here that are known domestic assassination teams,” said Gaetz.

The Congressman added that the official told him of his concerns about that the force protection team around Trump was totally inadequate.

“The coordination at that level, the dignitary protection level is like the bare minimum that we have to do to keep our presidents, our presidential candidates safe while they’re out there on the trail,” said Gaetz.

The Congressman emphasized that the five assassination teams are solely “targeting Trump” and not just any prominent political figure.

“So that raises real questions about why certain teams were being pulled off of the Trump detail and being put on for example the Jill Biden detail,” said Gaetz, noting that the threat against Jill Biden was substantially lower than the threat posed to Trump.

Gaetz said it didn’t make sense that requests for more security around Trump were being denied while resources were being allocated to far less prominent individuals like John Bolton.

In a town hall interview with Oprah Winfrey, Kamala Harris’ long-standing hypocrisy on gun control was exposed for all to see.

Kamala, known for her anti-gun rhetoric, let slip that not only is she a gun owner, but she would use it to shoot intruders if they dared to break into her home.

For someone who has championed stricter gun laws and even floated the idea of mandatory buybacks, this unscripted moment laid bare her duplicity.

When pressed during her interview with Oprah, she dropped the bombshell that she and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz both own guns.

“I’m a gun owner. Tim Walz is a gun owner,” said Kamala, much to Oprah’s surprise.

“I did not know that,” Oprah said.

But the real jaw-dropper came next. Harris, seemingly emboldened by the moment, continued: “If somebody breaks in my house, they’re getting shot.”

Harris, apparently realizing the gravity of her words, laughed nervously and backpedaled, adding, “I should have not said that. My staff will deal with that later.”

The hypocrisy is glaring. Here is a woman who has championed gun control measures for years, pushing for an assault weapons ban, mandatory gun buyback programs, and tighter restrictions on law-abiding gun owners—yet she is quick to admit she would use her firearm for self-defense.

During the recent presidential debate, Trump rightfully pointed out Harris’s gun-grabbing agenda, warning that she would come after Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

Harris tried to deflect the accusation, claiming, “Tim Walz and I are both gun owners. We’re not taking anybody’s guns away, so stop with the continuous lying about this stuff.”

For many, Harris’s sudden revelation about owning a gun, followed by her admission that she would shoot an intruder, is the ultimate example of liberal hypocrisy. How can someone so vehemently advocate for gun control while simultaneously enjoying the protection of a firearm?

Her comments on live television further solidified the notion that Kamala Harris’s stance on guns is as inconsistent as her political rhetoric. Just days after the debate, where she insisted no one’s guns would be taken away, Harris has returned to calling for an “assault weapons” ban and universal background checks. She insists that “reasonable gun safety laws” don’t contradict her support for the Second Amendment.

“I feel very strongly that it is consistent with the Second Amendment and your right to own a gun to also say we need an assault weapons ban,” Harris stated during the interview. “They’re literally tools of war,” she added, continuing her push for stricter regulations.

So which is it, Kamala? Are you the gun owner ready to defend your home by force, or the crusader for disarming Americans in the name of “safety”? It seems like Harris wants to have it both ways—enjoying the protection of her own firearm while working to ensure others don’t have the same right.

Aspirin is a staple in medicine cabinets worldwide, known primarily for its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. However, recent research is shedding light on a potentially game-changing role for this common medication: cancer prevention and treatment.1

While aspirin’s anticancer properties have been hinted at in various studies over the years,2 this function has largely been overlooked in favor of newer, more expensive drugs. Now, groundbreaking experiments are not only reaffirming aspirin’s potential in fighting cancer but also uncovering a more potent analog that could revolutionize our approach to cancer treatment.

This forgotten function of aspirin, and its even more powerful cousin, may offer new hope in the battle against one of humanity’s most persistent health challenges. Let’s explore the exciting developments that are causing researchers to take a fresh look at this familiar drug.

Aspirin and Cancer: Introducing 2,6-Dihydroxybenzoic Acid

In my interview with Georgi Dinkov, above, he discusses his experiments with mice using a combination of B vitamins — B1, B3 and B7 — and aspirin to combat a highly lethal form of human mantle cell lymphoma. He found that while the vitamins alone stopped tumor growth, adding aspirin at a human-equivalent dose of about 1.5 grams per day led to complete tumor regression in all three test subjects.

Building on the success with aspirin, Dinkov introduced a more potent analog of aspirin known as 2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid. Not only is it much stronger, it’s also much more lipophilic, meaning it has a greater affinity for lipids (fats) than water. Lipophilic compounds tend to be more easily absorbed through cell membranes.

Dinkov explains the theoretical basis for using this compound, which is based on lowering intracellular pH to induce cancer cell death:3

“One of Ray [Peat]’s main theories was that … cancer cells … [are] metabolically dysfunctional, we all know that, and typically a cell like that commits apoptosis. But in order to commit apoptosis, that mechanism is controlled almost entirely by the intracellular pH. And in order for apoptosis to occur, it needs to be in the acidic range.

But the cancer cells are alkaline due to exporting lactate and hydrogen ions. So, if anything can drop the intracellular pH, those cancer cells, because they’re deranged, should actually disappear by themselves.

And one of Peat’s suggestions at the time was, ‘Why don’t you use the drug acetazolamide?’ which as a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, increases carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is acidic, and then that should allow cancer cells to commit apoptosis.

There are some studies in vitro and in vivo showing that acetazolamide may work, but it didn’t really cure the tumors. It was a slower growth, partial regression, but it showed that the idea was on the right track.

So, I said, ‘Let’s find something that’s much more acidic than carbon dioxide.’ And that is this 2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid, which is just one extra hydroxyl group on top of aspirin. Salicylic acid, really, which is 2-hydroxybenzoic acid. And then this thing is about 10 times more potent than aspirin.”

Follow-up studies have yielded promising results, with tumors regressing after one week. Dinkov notes that 2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid is, “Freely available. No patent, nothing on it. Quite a few studies back in the day, but really a very generic molecule … Dirt cheap, too. Cheaper than aspirin.”4

Just as aspirin was developed from a natural source (willow bark), other natural compounds, including those derived from the leaves of the medicinal plant Lithraea molleoides,5 also show cytotoxic effects, adding to the growing body of evidence that plant-derived compounds can have significant anticancer potential. Compounds isolated from Mangifera zeylanica, a species of mango tree native to Sri Lanka, also have cytotoxic and apoptotic effects.6

Aspirin-Vitamin C Combination Treats Solid Tumors Better Than Chemo

While research suggests 2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid could be a promising tool against cancer, aspirin also shows immense promise. Your body may benefit even more when aspirin is combined with vitamin C, which also has antitumor effects. Recent studies have shown that this combination can be more effective against cancer cells while remaining gentler on healthy cells compared to conventional chemotherapy drugs like doxorubicin.7

In laboratory tests, the aspirin-vitamin C combination showed a strong cytotoxic effect on liver cancer cells but was much less harmful to normal lung cells.8 This selectivity is crucial for reducing the side effects associated with cancer treatments. The synergy between these two common substances appears to enhance their individual anticancer properties, offering a safer alternative to harsh chemotherapies.

The potential of aspirin and vitamin C extends beyond the lab, with encouraging results in animal studies. When tested on rats with chemically induced liver cancer, the combination therapy showed remarkable results.9 After 90 days of treatment, the livers of treated rats had significant improvement in both appearance and function.

Importantly, most of the liver tissue appeared normal under microscopic examination. This combination therapy outperformed doxorubicin in restoring liver health and reducing tumor markers.

Aspirin Works Synergistically with Vitamin C

In another study, the combination of aspirin, also known as acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), and vitamin C, or ascorbate (AS), showed superior results in shrinking tumors compared to either compound alone.10 When mice with solid tumors were treated with the combination, their tumor volume decreased by 46%, versus 40% with ASA alone and 36% with AS alone.

This synergistic effect likely stems from combining aspirin’s anti-inflammatory properties with vitamin C’s potent antioxidant capabilities. The two compounds appear to work together to create a more hostile environment for cancer cells, impeding their growth and proliferation.

By attacking tumors through multiple mechanisms simultaneously, the aspirin-vitamin C combination may overcome some of the adaptations cancer cells typically develop to evade single-compound treatments.

Beyond just shrinking tumors, the aspirin-vitamin C combination significantly extended survival times and appeared to improve overall health in the tumor-bearing mice. Mice treated with the combination survived an average of 93.5 days, compared to just 54 days for untreated tumor-bearing mice — a 73% increase in lifespan.11

The combination also outperformed either compound alone in normalizing various biomarkers of liver, kidney and heart function that had been disrupted by the cancer. Notably, the combination was able to increase hemoglobin levels, potentially alleviating the anemia often associated with cancer.

These improvements in organ function and blood parameters suggest the aspirin-vitamin C treatment may have wide-ranging benefits for overall health and quality of life, beyond just its antitumor effects.

A key mechanism behind the aspirin-vitamin C combination’s effects appears to be its powerful modulation of oxidative stress and inflammation in the body. The study found that tumor-bearing mice had significantly elevated levels of oxidative stress markers like malondialdehyde (MDA) and nitric oxide (NO), along with depleted antioxidant defenses.

Treatment with aspirin and vitamin C dramatically reversed these imbalances, decreasing MDA and NO while boosting total antioxidant capacity, glutathione and catalase activity. By creating a less inflammatory, less oxidative environment in the body, the combination may make it harder for cancer cells to thrive and spread.

This rebalancing of the redox state could have far-reaching effects throughout the body, potentially explaining the improvements seen in multiple organ systems. The study’s findings underscore the importance of addressing chronic inflammation and oxidative stress as part of a comprehensive approach to cancer treatment and prevention.

Aspirin’s Promising Role in Colorectal Cancer Prevention

Aspirin may also significantly reduce the risk of colorectal cancer (CRC), one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Studies have shown that taking at least 75 milligrams (mg) of aspirin daily for several years can decrease both the incidence and mortality of CRC.12

Interestingly, the beneficial effect appears to be most pronounced for proximal colon cancers, which are typically harder to prevent through standard screening methods like colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy. Long-term aspirin use, particularly for over 20 years, has been associated with a remarkable 35% reduction in CRC incidence.13

These findings suggest that incorporating low-dose aspirin into your long-term health strategy could offer significant protection against this common form of cancer.

Beyond its preventive effects, aspirin may also improve outcomes for those already diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Research indicates that regular aspirin use after a CRC diagnosis is linked to reduced risks of both overall and CRC-specific mortality. This benefit appears to be particularly pronounced in tumors that overexpress cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2).14 Moreover, aspirin’s protective effects aren’t limited to colorectal cancer alone.

Studies have shown that long-term aspirin use can reduce the 20-year risk of death from any cancer by 20%, with an even more substantial 35% reduction in gastrointestinal cancer deaths.15 These findings suggest that if you’re at increased risk for cancer or have already been diagnosed, aspirin use could be a valuable part of your treatment and prevention strategy.

Studies suggest aspirin may help suppress tumor growth, reduce metastasis and even enhance the effectiveness of other cancer treatments.16 This multi-pronged approach makes aspirin a particularly promising agent in the fight against colorectal cancer. For individuals at higher risk of CRC, such as those with a history of colorectal neoplasia or genetic predisposition, aspirin may offer even more promise.

A systematic review of studies involving people with previous colorectal neoplasia found a non-statistically significant reduction in advanced neoplasia with low-dose aspirin use.17 Additionally, for carriers of Lynch syndrome genes, high-dose aspirin for two years was associated with a decreased risk of colorectal cancer.18

Individuals with Lynch syndrome have a significantly higher lifetime risk of developing colorectal cancer. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence recommends patients diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome begin daily aspirin therapy to reduce the risk of colorectal cancer.19

Aspirin’s Broad Cancer-Fighting Potential

Analyses of long-term cardiovascular trials have also revealed aspirin’s unexpected power in fighting cancer across multiple sites.20 Studies show significant reductions in deaths from esophageal and stomach cancers among long-term aspirin users, and data indicate it may also lower your risk of lung, prostate and breast cancers.

Perhaps most exciting is the potential for a 20% to 30% reduction in overall cancer incidence after just three to five years of daily low-dose aspirin use.21 Further, studies consistently show that low doses — as little as 75 mg to 100 mg daily — are just as effective as higher doses in reducing cancer risk.22

The effectiveness of low-dose regimens also points to a unique mechanism of action. Rather than directly affecting tissues throughout your body, aspirin may work by inhibiting platelets, which play a crucial role in both early cancer development and later metastasis.23 While some benefits of aspirin use may appear within a few years, other reductions in cancer risk emerge with long-term use.

Studies tracking participants for 20 years or more have found that aspirin’s protective effects against gastrointestinal cancers become more pronounced over time. For colorectal cancer, significant reductions in incidence and mortality were observed 10 to 20 years after the start of aspirin use.24 This long-lasting effect suggests that aspirin may be altering fundamental processes in cancer development, offering enduring protection against this disease.

Top Oncologist: “Every New Cancer Patient Is Under 45” – Turbo Cancer Tsunami coming for young

A leading oncologist is raising the alarm about the staggering surge in cancer cases among young people.

North Carolina‘s Duke University oncologist Dr. Nicholas DeVito is warning that “every new patient” who now comes to his clinic is under 45 years old.

Dr. DeVito says he and his colleagues have experienced a complete demographic switch in recent years.

Based on what he’s seeing every day, talking to patients on the ground and analyzing the data, DeVito is now issuing a red alert to warn the public about the phenomenon.

However, the doctor is raising concerns that U.S. government officials are refusing to address or even acknowledge the dramatic surge in cancer cases.

The physician wrote for STAT News:

“The desire to protect Americans from substances that cause cancer and other diseases should transcend party affiliation and political motivation to overcome industrial lobbying efforts.”

In recent years, multiple studies and oncology experts have warned that cancer cases have been skyrocketing in younger people.

The U.S. has the sixth highest rate of early-onset cancers – disease in people under 50 – with 87 cases per 100,000 people younger than 50 years old.

And studies project diagnoses of early-onset cancers will rise by 31 percent and deaths will rise by 21 percent by 2030.

Cancers increasing the fastest include throat and prostate cancers.

Early-onset cancers with the highest mortality include breast, tracheal (windpipe), lung, stomach and colon.

DeVito wrote: “I hope to have a long career in oncology and eventually practice in an era where the U.S. has turned the tide against early-onset gastrointestinal cancers and few, if any, of my patients are under age 50.”

As Slay News reported earlier, a growing number of experts are demanding answers as aggressive turbo cancers continue to surge to unprecedented levels in young people.

Two shocking new reports from the American Cancer Society have revealed that various forms of the deadly disease surging among younger citizens.

In response to the reports, the corporate media is promoting several narratives to explain away the rapidly developing and spreading cancers.

However, several doctors have spoken out to warn that Covid mRNA shots are causing the recent emergence of aggressive cancers.

The disease has been found to form and spread so rapidly among vaccinated people that doctors have dubbed the phenomenon “turbo cancer.”

Doctors have revealed that some “turbo cancers” spread so quickly that seemingly healthy patients can die within a week of being diagnosed.

The data shows cancer cases spiked dramatically in 2021, shortly after the Covid shots were released for public use.

A series of blasts reportedly involving Taiwanese, Japanese, American, and European-made devices in Lebanon on September 17 and 18 have prompted grave security concerns worldwide.

“Weaponizing mobile communications devices will fill many people with horror and fear,” Marc Ostwald, chief economist at ADM Investor Services International, told Sputnik. “It may, at the margin, dampen demand.”

The Lebanese government attributed the attack to Israel, accusing Tel Aviv of an outright act of terrorism.

Given almost “unconditional support” provided to Israel by some Western countries, some of them may have colluded with Tel-Aviv, said Hasan Abdullah, analyst and researcher at Global Security and Strategy Institute.

“The US is going to be the country that’s going to generate the greatest trust deficit with their customers, primarily because of its very close collaboration with Israel,” Abdullah told Sputnik.

The US has long been one of the largest suppliers of communication equipment, including for military needs, to the Global South, the pundit noted, adding that the recent blasts could alienate the developing world from Western producers.

Earlier, researcher Mehmet Rakipoglu and military analyst Alexei Leonkov told Sputnik they did not rule out US involvement in the Lebanon attack.

The Intercept reported on Wednesday that the US military had explored the possibility of planting remote-activated bombs in innocuous devices starting from the 1960s.

Middle East and other developing countries could eventually turn to Russian, Chinese or Turkish tech firms out of fear that the US involvement could compromise their security, Abdullah said.

Ostwald and Abdullah believe that several measures could be taken to stop the covert bombings, starting with investigations into manufacturing processes and ending with the deployment of international watchdogs to oversee production and supply.

Supporters of Donald Trump say they’ve suffered from mysterious eye injuries after sitting behind him at his rally in Tucson last week.

At least half a dozen people said they were seated on stage behind Trump as the candidate addressed the spiraling cost of living crisis and unveiled a populist new policy, promising to end tax on overtime.

But after the event they became afflicted with a mysterious malady. Some complained of dealing with irritation in their eyes and needed medical attention.

Mayra Rodriguez, a former Clinton supporter turned Trump fan and pro-life advocate, said that her ‘eyes were burning’ once she left the rally and headed for the emergency room shortly after getting home from the speech.

‘The emergency room staff, from the triage nurse to the PA asked are you sure you didn’t get sprayed with something your symptoms look like you got sprayed with something,’ Rodriguez said.

She said that whatever happened, for a couple of days afterward she had nearly gone blind.

‘I can’t see anything when I try to open my eyes. I see a bright light. It hurts, it hurts a lot to open my eyes. I have this cold cloth I put on and take off constantly. It’s horrible,’ she said.

Rodriguez said that by Tuesday, her vision had begun to return to her and it doesn’t appear to be a permanent problem.

However, she became more troubled when she started to hear stories from other people who attended and sat near her.

‘It kept getting worse and worse, my eyes were watering a lot, my nose started running then I started feeling my face get really flushed and my neck felt like it was on fire and it just progressed from there,’ another attendee, who remained anonymous, told KVOA.

The woman’s brother had the same issues: ‘It was all focused on my eyes, my eyes were red like hell you know, it’s unbearable. I couldn’t handle it’.

At least one other Trump supporter, a local realtor, had to cancel all of her scheduled business for the weekend due to blindness.

A Trump campaign spokesperson said that the operation is looking into these cases.

The event was billed as a chance to address the spiraling cost of living crisis. And Trump unveiled a populist new policy, promising to end tax on overtime

‘The Trump campaign has been collecting information. We remain committed to the countless patriots that attend our high-energy, high-impact rallies across the country.’

A spokesperson for the Secret Service said there was no known threat to President Trump.

Much of his speech was taken up with his debate against Kamala Harris. Trump railed against the moderators and said he had no need for another meeting with Harris after his ‘monumental victory.’

Harris was declared the winner of the debate in a DailyMail.com snap poll of viewers. They also said she was the winner of the vibe war, saying the vice president made them feel ‘hopeful’ while Trump made them feel ‘annoyed.’

Arizona is central to Trump’s chances of success. Joe Biden win it by fewer than 11,000 votes, a narrow margin that triggered rounds of legal action and claims of fraud by Trump allies.

Trump had won it four years earlier by 3.5 percent.

In 800 AD the French king Charlemagne traveled to Rome to rescue Pope Leo III from a popular uprising in which the people of Rome kidnapped and beat him up and threatened to cut out his tongue. In return, the pope proclaimed him emperor of the lands he had reunited from northern Spain to the North Sea and western Germany to northern Italy. Charlemagne used this centralized power to enact important education reforms and to build alliances with Harun al Rashid of the Abbasid Caliphate against the Byzantines. This massively rejuvenated Europe’s link to the Silk Road trade, which entered Europe via the port of Venice,

Wars of succession among Charlemagne’s grandsons resulted in the Treaty of Verdun, which divided the short lived Holy Roman Empire into Franca, East Franca and the Domain of Lothair. Charlemagne’s German successors (in East Franca) retained the title of Holy Roman Emperor, a position abolished by Napoleon in 1806.

The Abbasid Caliphate

Revenue from the Silk Road trade allowed Harun to build Houses of Wisdom in Baghdad,* where he convened scholars to translate ancient Greek and Latin science texts into Arabic and record them on paper (an art the Arabs learned from the Chinese. In 751 he formed an alliance with the Tang empire against their mutual enemies: the Tibetans and the Steppes nomads.

Following Harun’s death, a dispute over his successor led to numerous provincial governors declaring autonomy. By the early 900s, the Abassid empire only ruled southern and central Iraq.

China

The Tang empire, which supported arts, education, science, engineering and religion represented the golden age of Chinese culture. The water wheel the Chinese used to provide mechanical power for irrigation and to mill grains led to the discovery of paddle boat wheels and clockwork wheels to run clocks. The Tang dynasty also discovered gunpowder, toilet paper, paper money and tea drinking (an expensive habit only Chinee elites could afford). Tea drinking quickly spread to Vietnam, Japan and Korea.

The Tang Dynasty also developed a brisk maritime via the East China and the Yellow Sea. During an 860 peasant rebellion, the emperor fled and one of the peasants Yuang Chow seized the throne,  turned into banditry. The emperor fled and one of the bandits Yuang Chow replaced him, launching the Qi dynasty.

Korea

Thanks to introduction of more productive paddy rice fields, in 668 the Silla kingdom unified the Korean peninsula, establishing a capitol at Seravea with nearly a million people. The Silla adopted a Confucian administrative structure (ie regional division of government) and the Chinese alphabet for writing. It also fostered art, music and dance and produced the first wood block printing in 751 AD. When Buddhism spread to Korea, Korean monks went to China for further study. Eventually Korean aristocrats wrested more power from the emperor until a peasant rebellion brought down the Silla dynasty in 935.

Japan

In the late 8th century, the Japanese laid out out their capitol Nara laid out exactly like the Chinese capitol Chang’an. In 794 they moved to Heian (Kyoto), cut off Chinese diplomatic ties and blockaded Chinese trade on the Yellow and South China Sea. The Heian period (794-1185) led to a focus on beauty and the rise of the Geisha movement in Kyoto. The suspension of trade weakened the Japanese emperor, leading regional Japanese nobles and their Samurai to seize more and more power.

CBS Drops Devastating News for Kamala in Nevada: “We Could Only Find ONE Harris Supporter in Every Restaurant!”

CBS’s Adrianna Diaz hit the road in Nevada, only to find a near non-existent base of support for Kamala Harris.

Diaz visited popular local eateries in Reno, North Las Vegas, and Nye County, Nevada, and described her experience as eye-opening.

The message was clear: Harris is losing ground fast in the Silver State, while former President Donald Trump is gaining more and more traction with voters.

Diaz recounted her experience on CBS This Morning, where she admitted that she was stunned by the lack of enthusiasm for Harris.

At Brothers Barbecue in Reno,, four women voiced their frustrations about the state of the country, specifically regarding immigration.

One woman said, “I’m extremely concerned about the border. Illegals. They got to go… They’re coming here for the freebies.”

Another woman said, “They’re thinking we’re saying we don’t want immigrants of any kind, and that’s not what people are saying. People are saying that there are people who have come here legally. Why do they get pushed aside to allow people who have not even worked one day in our country have not paid into the system.”

Even among Democrats, Harris struggles to find strong support. ‘Ken Lasker,’ the only Harris supporter present at a Reno lunch, lamented that democracy is “being threatened by Trump and the Republican Party,” but his voice was a lonely one in a state increasingly turning away from the Biden-Harris agenda.

In Las Vegas, a key area of the state with its large Latino population, concerns over the economy are driving voters toward Trump. Food truck owner ‘Francisco Mares’ noted that rising prices are hitting families hard.

“The tacos used to be a dollar, a dollar fifty. After the pandemic, they don’t go under $3.50 to $4 because meat’s expensive.”

This is the reality of Biden-Harris economics—families forced to pay more for basic necessities while Harris continues to tout job growth and economic recovery that is nonexistent.

A diner in Pahrump also expressed dissatisfaction, focusing on inflation and government spending. “I think they think if they keep throwing money at it, it’ll fix the problem,” she said. “It’s the same as an old house, oh, let’s just keep fixing it. Sometimes the solution is to tear it down and rebuild.” This powerful comment has since been highlighted by Trump’s campaign, showcasing the growing frustration with the Harris-Biden administration.

The most stunning aspect of Diaz’s report was her admission that in every restaurant she visited, she could only find a single Harris supporter.

“What was really incredible is in every single restaurant, the people willing to talk to us, we could only find one Harris supporter in every restaurant, and we left no stone unturned. I approached every single person, except for this one guy who I think had too many drinks at the bar,” she said.

Bill Gates Defends Free Speech — Unless It Hurts His Investments

In interviews this month with CNBC and CNET, Bill Gates said we “should have free speech” but not “if you’re inciting violence, if you’re causing people not to take vaccines.” Critics accused Gates of protecting his investments in pharma.

Bill Gates took a shot at free speech, the First Amendment, and everyone who questions vaccines and vaccine safety in a CNBC interview earlier this month.

“We should have free speech, but if you’re inciting violence, if you’re causing people not to take vaccines, where are those boundaries that even the U.S. should have rules? And then if you have rules, what is it?” Gates asked on CNBC’s “Make It.”

Gates made similar remarks this month in an interview with CNET, during which he directly targeted the First Amendment:

“The US is a tough one because we have the notion of the First Amendment and what are the exceptions like yelling ‘fire’ in a theater. … I do think over time, with things like deepfakes, most of the time you’re online you’re going to want to be in an environment where the people are truly identified, that is they’re connected to a real-world identity that you trust, instead of just people saying whatever they want.”

Gates, described by CNBC as “the subject of numerous conspiracy theories,” said he does not have a solution for how to stop the spread of “misinformation.” He lamented his “naivete, that when we made information available, that people would want correct information.”

According to CNBC, Gates, who “spends a lot of his time and money trying to help solve some of the world’s biggest problems,” said that unlike tackling diseases or promoting clean energy, there is no clear path forward for solving what he views as the problem of “misinformation.”

Gates told CNBC any “solution” would involve “rules” for online speech, but he said he isn’t sure what form those rules would take or who would enforce them. Similarly, he told CNET “systems and behaviors” should be in place to target “misinformation.”

“Is there some AI [artificial intelligence] that encodes those rules because you have billions of activity [sic] and if you catch it a day later, the harm is done,” Gates told CNBC. However, he acknowledged that he is sensitive to the argument that restricting online information would be detrimental to free speech.

Gates’ remarks a ‘blatant affront to the First Amendment’

Experts who spoke with The Defender said Gates’ remarks belie a disregard for the principles of free speech and the First Amendment.

Author Naomi Wolf, Ph.D., co-founder and CEO of DailyClout, told The Defender Gates “should re-read the Constitution,” adding:

“No individual, and certainly not the state, has the authority in our system to be the arbiter of what can be read or said. Our First Amendment has very few and limited exceptions, such as threats of violence. ‘Misinformation’ is not one of them. History shows that censorship never works ultimately to repress the truth.”

Other experts cited Gates’ questionable track record on free speech and issues such as vaccines. Epidemiologist M. Nathaniel Mead told The Defender Gates’ “post-2020 track record on this issue is well-documented.”

Mead said:

“He tried to sell us on the ‘vaccine-only’ solution to COVID by falsely claiming that the modified mRNA injections would avert infection and transmission, thereby ending the pandemic. He also openly urged media to disparage as ‘conspiracy theorists’ or anyone who questioned mandates for masking, social distancing, lockdowns, PCR testing and, of course, the so-called vaccines.”

Mead called this “a rather blatant affront” to the First Amendment. “Given his track record with public health communications, Gates is being grotesquely disingenuous when he speaks about wanting to protect free speech.”

Mead suggested Gates relies on control over narratives in the media to further his promotion of — and investments in — vaccines. He said:

“Bill Gates has a vested interest in ensuring that counternarrative information, or what he calls ‘misinformation,’ is eliminated. That’s because it interferes with his Bio-Pharma agenda and what appear to be authoritarian aspirations as well, given his efforts to impose vaccine passport requirements internationally and to restrict free speech through his control of many news media channels, having given over $300 million of his own funds in recent years to support ‘independent’ media platforms such as NPR, PBS and The Guardian.

“Since the mass media relies heavily on Big Pharma advertising to maintain operations, it has largely abandoned the traditional skepticism of government directives, instead aiding in the suppression of dissenting viewpoints. Anyone posing counter-establishment narratives is a ‘problem’ from Gates’ perspective.”

‘Afraid that when their plans are exposed, people will resist’

Others argued that Gates’ reputation was hurt as a result of his outspoken support for and investments in COVID-19 vaccines and mRNA technology — and can only be restored through censorship of online speech.

“To restore his reputation from mad scientist back to computer guy, Gates has one hope: censorship. Indeed, the vast amount of censorship needed for that job is basically to wipe the internet,” attorney Greg Glaser told The Defender.

Catherine Austin Fitts, founder and publisher of the Solari Report and former U.S. assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development, cited a recent survey showing that a significant percentage of the population believes COVID-19 vaccines are deadly.

“A recent Rassmussen survey published in June 2024 reported that 33% of American adults agree with the statement: ‘The [COVID-19] vaccine is killing people, and is killing large numbers of people,’” Fitts said.

“If Mr. Gates wants to stop misinformation, his first step should be to stop financing, speaking or republishing misinformation that results in the poisoning of our children,” Fitts added.

For Seamus Bruner, author of “Controligarchs: Exposing the Billionaire Class, their Secret Deals, and the Globalist Plot to Dominate Your Life,” Gates’ support for stopping “misinformation” is tied to his support for vaccines and digital ID.

Bruner, director of research at the Government Accountability Institute, argued that the “systems and behaviors” Gates advocated include “a de facto digital ID system” that would “track and trace our precise digital footprint — what we say and do online.”

Bruner said:

“Gates and the other controligarchs are pouring billions of dollars into digital ID efforts, and they plan to use misinformation — particularly related to vaccines — to do it.

“He wants to control what we put in our bodies. Now, he wants to control what we’re allowed to put into our minds — what we think — by controlling what we are allowed to say. The reason ‘misinformation’ is a ‘problem’ for controligarchs like Gates is simple: They are afraid that when their plans are exposed, people will resist.”

Gates making an ‘emotional appeal to manipulate public opinion’

CNBC’s interview with Gates came just days before the release of a five-part Netflix docuseries, “What’s Next? The Future With Bill Gates.”

The series will premiere on Sept. 18 — the same day as the documentary “Vaxxed 3: Authorized to Kill” will be released. “Vaxxed 3” features excerpts from thousands of interviews with people about vaccine injuries and deaths people allege were caused by hospital COVID-19 treatment protocols.

According to CNBC, in one episode of “What’s Next?” Gates tells his daughter Phoebe he feels bad for failing to stem the spread of “misinformation.”

“Hearing my daughter talk about how she’d been harassed online … brought that into focus in a way that I hadn’t thought about before,” Gates told CNBC.

According to CNBC, “Phoebe Gates spoke out about what she called ‘the misconceptions and conspiracy theories’” — “including racist online commentary about one of her ex-boyfriends, who is Black” — and about her family in an interview with The Information.

Gates told CNBC, “We’ve handed this problem to the younger generation,” referring to “misinformation.”

Mead accused Gates of trying to conceal his support for censorship by eliciting an emotional response.

“Calling attention to the cyber harassment of his daughter has less to do with misinformation than with predatory and abusive online behaviors,” Mead said. “But Gates seems to be getting desperate, and his attempt to make this kind of illogical linkage is an emotional appeal to manipulate public opinion.”

Mead said Gates used similar emotional tactics to equate questioning vaccines with “inciting violence.” He said:

“In the video clip teaser, we hear Gates say we should have free speech and then attempt to obliquely link ‘inciting violence’ with ‘causing people not to take vaccines.’

“When he juxtaposes the incitement of violence with causing people not to take vaccines, he’s resorting to the most basic propaganda tactic, that of emotional manipulation.”

Such plays on emotion also represent a concerted effort to target young people in particular, according to Glaser:

“One of the most surprising things I’ve learned from interviewing young people is they generally don’t like to fact check. Scrolling is way more fun. They want verification processes done for them, and they are content to rely on their peer group’s perception of the information. That’s the phenomenon that people like Gates are trying to exploit.”

Instead of censorship, a focus on allowing free speech to thrive?

“Misinformation is becoming more common,” CNBC reported, citing developments such as AI chatbots that “make it easier to generate and spread falsehoods quickly,” and a January World Economic Forum report that said “misinformation” is the top global risk for the next two years.

While citing AI as a prime driver of “misinformation,” CNBC cited a 2023 interview with Beth Goldberg, head of research and development at Jigsaw, a Google unit, who said researchers are attempting to develop AI tools to identify what CNBC described as “misinformation and toxic speech online.”

But in a blog post last year, Gates argued that AI’s ability to fight “misinformation” would be imperfect.

“Someone finds a way to detect fakery, someone else figures out how to counter it, someone else develops counter-countermeasures, and so on. It won’t be a perfect success, but we won’t be helpless either,” Gates wrote.

But Glaser said society should focus on creating the conditions for free speech to flourish.

“Free speech does not exist in a vacuum, but rather its quality is a measure of the character of people speaking and listening. This is the root of the issue that censorship cannot address. Only as we improve the character and morality of our societies will free speech truly thrive,” Glaser said.

“The largest danger to an organic human system — like a free market — is inorganic authoritarianism,” Glaser added. “Bill Gates teaming up with the United Nations to impose a global order is the picture of inorganic authoritarianism.”
