Stalingrad: The Last Letters

Nazis’ Last Stand: The Brutal Final Days of Stalingrad

Directed by Joe Greenway (2024)

Film Review

This film concerns the Nazi siege of Stalingrad in 1942-43 that ultimately turned the tide of World War II. It focuses on the poignant letters members of Hitler’s infamous Sixth Army, on the verge of surrender, sent home to their loved ones.

Hitler commenced Operation Barbarosa (his invasion of the Soviet Union) in June 1941. By spring 1942, his forces had killed three million Soviet troops and civilian. Frustrated by the Soviet strategy of strategic retreat, Hitler shifted strategy. Instead of continuing his push towards Moscow, he veered south to capture the industrial city of Stalingrad and the Caucasus oilfields.

Dividing his Sixth Army (joined by Hungarian, Italian and Romanian troops) into four contingents, he partially encircled the Soviet troops defending north Stalingrad. Ignoring his generals, on July 7, 1942 Hitler decided the Soviet troops were done for and ordered the Axis troops to march on Stalingrad.

By the end of July, he had lost one million men and 90% of his tanks. Nevertheless on July 29th, he ordered his forces to split and simultaneously attack Stalingrad and the Caucasus.

By August 1, 40,000 Stalingrad residents had been killed in Luftwaffe raids. By August 23, all but 75,000 survivors had been evacuated. Despite heavy Soviet resistance, Nazi troops invaded the city via the rail line.

A German soldier’s letter from September 13th describes the city as “completely destroyed,” with Nazi and Soviet troops fighting at point blank range for city blocks or individual buildings. Another letter indicates the Russians are better supplied and outnumber the Germans.

By mid-November the ground is covered with snow and there  is heavy hand to hand combat as Germany ammunition begins to run out. Of 3,000 German troops deployed to Stalingrad, 1000 have been killed and even more wounded.

By November 19, Stalingrad is 90% controlled by Germans, when the Soviets orchestrate a pincer movement to the north and south of Stalingrad trapping 260,000 German in a 60 by 40 kilometer with a handful of tanks and (due to bad weather), limited ammunition and fuel.

Hitler refuses a request by officers on the ground to withdraw from Stalingrad. Another German letter home reveals all the officers have been killed and describes going without water and eight days and nights without sleep.

A second letter describes the Sixth Army remaining in “hedgehog” position because only three days in December were clear enough for the Luftwaffe to airdrop food. A third describes being taunted by Soviet propaganda over loud speakers with claims of another German soldier dropping dead every seven seconds, accompanied by sickening tango music.

A fourth, complaining of no rations for three days, describes German forces trying to stay as close to Russian lines as possible so “they can’t shell us without hurting themselves.”

A fifth describes sleeping in a hole in the ground.

In mid-December Hitler orders a panzer group to break the Soviet circle and create a life line to rescue the trapped German forces. However of three panzer divisions, only one is fully operational.

Shortly after Christmas, the Soviets shut down the German airfields along the Volga and the airdrops cease. Starving Germn troops search the Russian dead for bread crust and for some pea flour they boil in water. They have already eaten all their horses and now they eat their dogs, which have been feeding on rats and corpses.

On January 10, the great Soviet offensive begins. By January 22, German ammunition is gone and his generals request permission to surrender. Hitler refuses. By January 25, some infantry are beginning to surrender. On January 28, Hermann Goehring informs the German pubic the Sixth Army has been defeated in Stalingrad. Field Marshall Paulus disobeys Hitler’s order and directs his generals to negotiate a surrender.

Ending the myth of German invincibility, 100,000 German troops marched into captivity in Russia with only 6,000 returning home.

Bill Gates Foundation to Shut Down

A similar pattern is emerging among the members of the elite class that obviously had a role in the Covid pandemic, and the death and destruction that followed.

Many players have resigned their positions, in an attempt to avoid accountability.

As the Trump administration moves with halting momentum towards justice for those harmed, is the Bill Gates Foundation using the same technique?

The entity has been involved in mass vaccination per Gates’ own words in the video below.

The Bill Gates Foundation has officially announced it will be shutting down. The foundation plans to shut down in 20 years—sooner than originally expected—and will invest $200 billion before closing its doors. Bill Gates says he’ll donate most of his wealth to the foundation before the shutdown. “You could say this announcement is not very timely,” says Bill Gates. @ShadowofEzra

Trump ‘losing patience’ with Netanyahu, advances US plans without Israeli involvement

(Photo credit: Eric Lee/The New York Times)

The Cradle

US President Donald Trump has lost patience with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and will not wait any longer for Israel before advancing initiatives in West Asia, Israel Hayom reported on 8 May.

According to two senior sources in the US President’s entourage, Trump is interested in making decisions that he believes will advance US interests, particularly regarding Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, without waiting for approval from Netanyahu.

Regarding a potential US–Israeli agreement with Saudi Arabia, Trump believes Netanyahu is delaying making the necessary decisions. The president is not willing to wait until Israel does what is expected of it and will move forward without it.

During the presidency of Joe Biden, the US and Israel were involved in talks with Saudi Arabia that would see Washington enter a defense pact with the kingdom, provide it with civilian nuclear technology, and sell it advanced weapons – all in exchange for normalization with Israel.

As part of any agreement to normalize relations with Israel, Saudi Arabia expects an end to the war in Gaza and an Israeli declaration of a “horizon for a Palestinian state.”

However, senior ministers in Israel’s current government have vowed to never allow a Palestinian state in the occupied West Bank, while promising to “destroy” Gaza, ethnically cleanse its population under the pretext of promoting “voluntary migration,” and to build Jewish settlements there.

The sources added that Trump was furious at what he saw as an attempt by Netanyahu to use US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, who has since been dismissed from his position, to push for US military action in Iran.

Netanyahu claimed in response to the publication of the affair in the Washington Post that he had only spoken to Waltz once. However, Trump was not convinced.

The president’s anger likely explains why Trump did not involve Israel in the ceasefire he announced with the Ansarallah-led government of Yemen.

Even after Trump announced the agreement with Yemen, Israeli representatives handling relations with the US were reportedly unable to receive information from White House officials about what was happening for a day, Israel Hayom noted.

Additionally, Trump is not currently scheduled to visit Israel as part of his visit to the region next week.

The disconnect between Trump and Netanyahu likely explains why the Israeli prime minister and his Defense Minister, Israel Katz, announced on Wednesday that they are prepared for a situation in which Israel will be left alone in the campaign against Yemen.

Defense Minister Katz said that “Israel must be able to defend itself on its own against any threat and any enemy. This has been true in the face of many challenges in the past and will continue to be so in the future.”

Trump has faced criticism for escalating the war against Yemen since taking office in January, including for withholding information about US military casualties resulting from a military campaign that has never received authorization from Congress.

The operation has involved over 1,000 US airstrikes against the Ansarallah-led Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) and killed hundreds of Yemenis, including many civilians.

Writing for Haaretz, Israeli journalist Aluf Benn notes that each time US presidents have been angered by Tel Aviv’s actions, “Israel stood its ground, deflected the pressure and over time got what it wanted.”

Benn stated that Trump is also pursuing a deal with Iran over its nuclear program that is contrary to Netanyahu’s position on the matter.

Trump pulled the US out of the Obama-era Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018 amid encouragement from Netanyahu. However, the president has been trying to come to a diplomatic understanding with Iran to halt the development of its nuclear program during his second term.

Three rounds of talks have taken place, mediated by the government of Oman and involving Trump’s special envoy to the region, Steve Witkoff.

Graphene oxide found in all three dental anesthetics tested for it

Graphene Oxide - Talent 2030

By Leo Cashman

Last week we reported on the results of testing of Carbocaine, a local anesthetic widely used in dentistry. The report came from the University of Colorado Micro Raman Spectroscopy testing lab. All five of the samples tested showed the D and G bands indicative of graphene oxide and the results bore great similarity to the results from the earlier testing of Septocaine, another local anesthetic made by the same company, Novocol Pharmaceuticals, of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. Novocol is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of dental and its products hold a dominant position in the North American market.

The graphene oxide was identified in black particles found within the sample, objects that are not supposed to be found in the clear liquid product. It is not labeled an ingredient in the product the company does not acknowledge that it is in its products.

A different lab, Medical Genomics, tested samples of Carbocaine for other contaminants: bacteria, yeast, and mold and none of those contaminants were found. Further, the SV40 virus and the spike protein were not found and the lab declared “Carbocaine samples are clean of vaccine DNA.”

Why is the presence of graphene oxide a concern?

Independent research report that graphene oxide particles found in human blood is able to self-assemble into “nano-bots,” also called “nano-robots,” that can act like synthetic parasites, that are not alive but that can multiply, impact a person’s health and also act like little antennas that can communicate with antennas that are outside of the body. The presence of such nano-bots is a violation of a person’s individual privacy and tends to undermine personal autonomy and freedom. Such an arrangement is something that we might expect in a totalitarian society and not in a well functioning democracy. Further, in a well functioning democracy, the responsible regulatory agency, the FDA, would be monitoring these products for such contaminants and not allow their sale. Major media would also step in to alert the public about the issue and exert pressure to bring a halt to the problem.

What other sources of graphene oxide (GO) are some people being exposed to?

One of the best known writer-researchers in this area, Dr. Ana Mihalcea, MD, PhD, reports having identified hydrogel and nanobot contaminants in a variety of medications, Dexamethasone, Benadryl, Omnitrope somatropin, a growth hormone given to young adults, Lentus Insulin, widely used by adults with type 2 diabetes, and Pfizer’s Embrel, a product that is used by people with auto immune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. Other pathways of exposure are said to be foods we eat (think: a dark cola drink) and also the air we breathe after aerosol spraying by airplanes in the sky (aka “chemtrails). So even persons who eat natural, organic food, avoid covid shots and other vaccines, and drink only pure, non-fluoridated water, may be hard pressed to remain free and clear of the presence of graphene oxide and other materials that would contribute to the self-assembly of nanobots and hydrogels.

Are there any local anesthetics that we know are safe? What do biological dentists prefer to use?

The reasonable conclusion at this point is that there are no local anesthetics that are free of graphene oxide (GO) and there are two reasons for concluding this. 1) All three of the anesthetics tested so far have been found to have GO, 2) Novocol makes the other ones commonly used in North America, and so there is no assurance that any of there other products would be free of it, and 3) Dr. Mihalcea and other researchers have such problem in the blood after use of Lidocaine, a dental anesthetic that we have not directly tested yet for GO. Her research results are summarized in her book Transhuman, (Volume II) Overcoming the Global Depopulation Agenda.

What alternatives do we have to using a local anesthetic in dentistry?

For routine dental work such as fillings and even for inlays, onlays and crowns, some dentists will try to get through the dental work without using a local anesthetic at all. The dentist will say, for example, “we’ll try to get through this without a local anesthetic; if it becomes too painful, raise your right hand and I’ll stop and administer a local anesthetic.” With that kind of assurance, the patient puts herself in a positive, peaceful frame of mind and often gets through it without need to use an anesthetic. This can even work for children.

Other steps that can reduce dental pain, generally, are the homeopathic remedy Arnica montana (high potency) and vitamin B1 (thiamine). Acupuncture is also effective, but bringing in an acupuncturist to perform that treatment makes it an uncommon approach. Use of a general anesthetic is not an very desirable alternative because it is very invasive, carries some risk, and the use of fluoride in most of the general anesthetics raises some concern about toxic fluoride residues.

What can a person do to inhibit the self-assembly of GO into nanobots? Or to get rid of them if they have already formed?

In Chapter 4 of Dr. Mihalcea’s book, Treatment Solutions, she suggests a variety of tactics. Eliminate and detoxify from toxic metals such as iron, aluminum, mercury, cadmium by eliminating sources of them and doing a safe, gentle detox program. Dr. Mihalcea suggests use of intravenous EDTA and intravenous vitamin C but, while EDTA good for removal of lead and aluminum, EDTA is not a good chelator of mercury and many of the other toxic metals and there is some research that suggests that EDTA is not a very safe chelator for mercury. However, EDTA may be useful for smashing the nano-bots found in the blood after the self-assembly has occurred. Another agent worthy of mention is Methylene Blue, and it, too, would normally be administered under a doctor’s care.

Maria Crisler, another widely known researcher and writer, working in collaboration with Dr Edward Group, has helped develop detox products that can address the common products. The choice and use of their products is beyond the discussion in this article, but the reader may find more product ideas at Abeytu Naturals, AbeytuNaturals.com which has products developed by Maria Crisler. Another company, somewhat larger, is Global Healing, GlobalHealhing.com headed by Dr Edward Group, DC.

In terms of preventing of self-assembly, the advice is to avoid un-natural EMFs as from cell phones, cordless phones and Wi-Fi, alcohol consumption, and also avoid use of zeolite as a detox product (zeolite contains aluminum, which fuels the self-assembly of the nano-bots).

This subject area will see much continuing research, and we will do out best to share the new information as it comes out. Feel free to share this article with others, including your biological dentist and your holistic health care practitioners.

BARRIERS TO RESEARCH

I am again pointing out that my intent with these posts is to open up research into chlorine dioxide rather than recommend or promote its use at this time. To the best of my knowledge of the existing literature, this is the first review that compiled all of the peer-reviewed and published trials and studies which used chlorine dioxide in treatment, and at the end, I also review the retracted and/or censored studies that have been done to date.

Currently, it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to rigorously assess the efficacy of widely available, orally ingestable forms of chlorine dioxide in our modern scientific climate. However, no restrictions have been placed on doing studies of its equivalent, chlorite, which has patented formulations which have been studied within numerous double-blind RCT’s as you will see below).

This uncomfortable fact is due to the globally coordinated barriers to both performing and publishing research of its efficacy in treating human diseases. I believe that in my last two posts of a historical account by a retired translational scientist that had high level security clearances in the latter half of the 20th century (here and here), the reasons for that should now be obvious.

If you didn’t read those posts, I will spell it out for you, again. The barriers are due to chlorine dioxide’s threat to the massive markets of modern pharmaceutical products.

To wit, when the topic of oral ingestion of chlorine dioxide is addressed, numerous copycat bulletins are posted by regulatory agencies such as the FDA, TGA, , PAHO/WHO, SWISSMEDIC and other health authorities that advise against its use by falsely alleging that it is toxic and/or dangerous to ingest, describing it as “bleach,” “bleach-like,” or a “poison.” See examples of the coordinated fear-mongering:

I won’t deny the fact that it can be used as a bleaching agent in industrial applications at 5000 mg/L, however the oral doses used therapeutically (160mg/L) fall far lower than the minimal level (210mg/L) that has been determined by the EPA to cause an adverse effect (I extensively detailed its safety in this prior post). As a result, for decades, millions around the world have used it safely (and discreetly) to treat illnesses via topical, oral, and even intravenous administration. Regulatory agencies around the world all willfully deny this reality.

That is, until the revolutionary passing of a law in Bolivia in 2020, allowing for the widespread manufacture and distribution of oral chlorine dioxide solution to treat Covid. In my first post on chlorine dioxide, I provided an enormous amount of documentation that Bolivian military forces and universities, right after the law was passed, began manufacturing and distributing it to Bolivians. This program led to Bolivia having the best outcomes in all of South America despite the strenuous objections in media interviews and press releases by their health ministry). Power to the people.

Further, for those who have read my previous posts on chlorine dioxide, you should now be aware of the history of those who tried to promote, research, or treat patients with orally ingested oxidative therapies like chlorine dioxide or Homozon. Their efforts led to repeated deportations, imprisonments, and assassinations (some of which you have yet to learn about as they will be detailed in upcoming posts on the plight of more modern practitioners). If you are interested to learn about them as well, please subscribe.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHLORITE AND CHLORINE DIOXIDE?

In the below, I will argue that clinically and physiologically, there is no difference at all.

In my research group on chlorine dioxide, the one advanced applied chemist, Tom Henshaw, maintains that, chemically, most ingested chlorine dioxide is rapidly converted into chlorite (a weaker and slower oxidizing agent) and it is largely chlorite that gets absorbed into the human body and subsequently excreted.

[…]

It should come as no surprise that I believe the reason why there is robust evidence for chlorite is that pharmaceutical companies have patented two intravenous formulations of it and have named the compounds WF10 and NPOO1. By doing this, it allowed them to sail through research ethics committees (IRB), regulatory agencies, and “Editorial Mafia” barriers. Nice trick. But we busted you. What a world.

[…]

I will cover the trials in ALS below, but, spoiler alert, the company that owns the patented chlorite formulation NPOO1 (Neuvivo) just applied for FDA approval for its use in ALS. Check out this article summarizing the findings from the trials published in the best selling newsletter called “ALS News Today” just 6 weeks ago:

[…]

Further, in this transcript of an interview with NPR, the interviewer and the investigator share that the company is ready to initiate Phase II studies of chlorite in Huntington’s, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinsons, muscular dystrophy, frontotemporal dementia, and vascular dementia.

Whoa. Chlorine dioxide (err, I mean chlorite) is entering our therapeutic armentarium! Albeit and unsurprisingly, likely at great cost and complexity (i.e requiring IV administration, physician prescription, and administration). Still, cool stuff.

AMYOTROPHIC LATERAL SCLEROSIS

Know that one of the main reasons they studied chlorite in ALS is because ALS disease progression is associated with activation of two different subtypes of monocyte/macrophages (immune cells which cause inflammation) and which chlorite/chlorine dioxide strongly inhibits.

MALARIA

  • NIGERIA: In a previous post, I detailed a report from an anonymous scientist with high-level security clearances during the latter part of last century where, in 1985, he helped design a Nigerian water treatment plant that initially and mistakenly uses a higher, but still non-toxic level (6ppm) than is typically used (0.5ppm). He reported that it led not only to the eradication of a cholera outbreak, but also that suddenly, no new malaria cases occurred in the town downstream from the plant. Obviously this is not data from a peer reviewed and published study but, knowing the source and his background, I find it highly credible and in-line with the following studies.
  • UGANDA: A documentary called “Malaria Red Cross Study” provides videotaped evidence that a study in malaria was done using chlorine dioxide in the form of MMS in Uganda in 2012. The International Red Cross, Uganda Red Cross, and a group called the Water Reference Center had members present that conducted the study and documented the results. In the study, 154 people tested positive for malaria and 154 were cured of malaria within 48 hours. After the study was conducted by the Ugandan Red Cross, the International Red Cross authorities denied that the entire study took place and refused to verify the results. The study was documented on video by several people, and these videos made their way online. Unfortunately, the malaria study documentary has been banned multiple times from YouTube but can be found on alternative video platforms like Brighteon and BitChute as well as on this page here.
  • CAMEROON: This published study (in an admittedly obscure journal) reported on 500 patients treated for malaria with a specially formulated sublingual tablet of chlorite that resolved all symptoms within two days. Further, their blood samples were free of any parasites by Day 6. This paper was quickly and unsurprisingly retracted and the principal investigator, Professor Enno Frye was then accused by his affiliated University of not having actually performed the study. Based on direct personal communication with Dr. Frye and my personal review of the study documents and protocol that he submitted to me, I believe there is sufficient evidence to believe the study (and its results) actually occurred. I will detail all in an upcoming post.

VIRAL RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS

In Japan, they did a study where they released chlorine dioxide gas in the classroom of Japanese schoolchildren over a 38 day period, and they found it lowered absentee rates – i.e. there was significantly less illness in the classrooms exposed as can be seen in the table below:

EVIDENCE BASE FOR EFFICACY IN COVID-19

1. BoliviaIn a previous post, I compiled copious evidence of its use in Bolivia during Covid-19, taken from legislative documents and TV and newspaper reports which documented that, in early Covid-19, the passing of a national law allowed for the manufacture and distribution of orally ingested chlorine dioxide. Numerous media reports provided evidence of its being distributed by both the military and many universities.

The number of cases of COVID-19 subsequently dropped 93% from August 20, 2020 to October 21, 2020 and daily deaths decreased 82% from a peak on September 3, 2020 to October 21, 2020. Although other factors may have played a role in the decline in cases and mortality during this time, the fact that cases and deaths dropped in Bolivia but not surrounding countries suggests ClO2 likely played a large role in the progress seen in Bolivia (Insignares-Carrione et al., 2021)

THE BOLIVIAN RCT THAT WAS BLOCKED AFTER APPROVAL

A year later, in 2021, Dr. Patricia Callisperis and her team (she was one of the main physicians involved with the military program) made an attempt to conduct a randomized, double-blind study. The trial was developed by a branch of Bolivia’s army, Clínica del Sur and the Spanish scientific society SCIB. The chlorine dioxide solution was developed by the Escuela Militar de Ingeniería (EMI).

Three Bolivian Army hospitals, were selected to enroll participants because in Bolivia, there are regions at different elevations above sea level, from valleys at 2,800 meters to high-altitude areas at 3,800 meters. This is important because the response to chlorine dioxide apparently varies depending on the altitude.

[…]

The many mechanisms of action of chlorine dioxide makes it broadly antimicrobial against nearly all infectious pathogens, reduces inflammation, prevents scarring. aids in wound healing, is non-toxic when orally ingested (in appropriate concentrations), reduces oral plaque, treats oral atrophic candidiasis, is a potent deodorizer. In cancer, it has in-vitro anti-cancer cell effects, stimulates an in-vivo anti-cancer cell immune response and is also effective when injected intra-tumorally or via a combination of oral, enema, and IV administration.

Empty shelves, for let signs and job layoffs point to recession by summer

By David Blond

It takes 30 to 50 days for container ships from Asia to reach the U.S.’s West Coast ports. Barring new, faster shipping options or a stunning retreat by U.S. President Donald Trump on China tariffs, the consumer retail economy, which constitutes 70% of GDP, will be damaged. Demand for container space from China on the ships transiting the Pacific Ocean currently is running 60% to 65% below what it normally would be at this time.

Attention, U.S. shoppers: If you see something you need or even think you will, head to Walmart or Target or a local retailer and buy it. Already you can see the shelves starting to empty.

Some analysts are concentrating on the higher prices on imports, but the truth is that fewer American businesses will clear products through U.S. customs. It won’t be price that matters; it will be the lack of product to sell.

Stop the trade flow, and you stop the economy.

Damage to the U.S. economy is happening in slow motion. Without products to sell in stores, retail employers (responsible for 10% of all jobs in the U.S.) will shed employees, a cascade of negatives now showing up in both statistics and “for lease” signs. Small businesses from Alaska to Maine without imported goods to use in the factory or sell at the shop will close. Bankruptcy sales will proliferate. Now consider that job losses have a multiplier effect, further reducing economic output.

Before you become euphoric about the Trump administration relenting on some of its tariffs, consider the damage that has already been done to the U.S. economy. Challenger, Gray & Christmas reported that U.S. employers cut more than 275,000 jobs in March, with more than 216,000 of those layoffs coming in the federal government, spearheaded by Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency, or “DOGE.” The numbers Challenger estimates are staggering  and so far not reflected in Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

The impact on the U.S. economy will soon be obvious. Economies run on flows from wages, and from federal government grants for thousands of immediate needs. Without this flow and with the layoffs and cuts to wages, the U.S. economy will continue to slow and could be in a recession by the summer. Let’s not forget the immigration raids that must be spooking farmers and their workers.

For U.S. manufacturers, building a network of new suppliers is complex due to the specific nature and qualities of the parts used in manufacturing production, even if there is an American company that might, with time and detailed drawings, make the foreign part at competitive prices, the risk to current production is too great and costly to make this feasible. If attempted then during this transition, hourly employees would be laid off and production lines stopped. Local communities, many of them in the Trump-friendliest states, would suffer.

The uncertainty of the chaotic Trump plan also clouds the American economy. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is holding interest rates steady, inviting Trump’s ire. If and when Trump manages to renegotiate a trade deal, it won’t be worth much unless it’s with America’s most valuable trading partners, including Canada, Mexico, China, South Korea and Japan, as well as the European Union. I suspect that most of the “deals” may be with countries that the U.S. barely trades with, including India.

China and the U.S. are scheduled to conduct trade talks this weekend in Geneva. But China knows that it does not need to do more than agree to meet to discuss the future of U.S.-China trade relations. Sending negotiators to Geneva costs nothing beyond airfare and hotel bills.

For China, the U.S. is not the only country that matters. China could add pain to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s day job by dumping its cache of U.S. Treasury debt on the bond market, driving the U.S. dollar lower and short-term rates higher, and further weakening the U.S. stock markets. China might also find it useful to join a coalition of countries suffering under American economic bullying and redirect trade and manufacturing capacity elsewhere in the world.

Tax cuts in jeopardy

Also in jeopardy: the path for congressional Republicans to keep their 2017 tax cuts (which are especially generous to corporations and the wealthy) from disappearing. Even though income-tax rates on lower-income workers will rise marginally, the necessary deep cuts in healthcare, food assistance and other parts of the U.S. government will likely prove too politically dangerous for Congress to pass before the tax cuts expire.

Trump, who must have slept through macroeconomics at Wharton, bases his thinking on microeconomic principles only. Before 1933, economists and politicians focused on industrial relationships and monetary policy. When President Herbert Hoover and Congress tried to balance the federal budget with deep cuts, and the Federal Reserve raised rates and slowed the flow of money, the Great Depression was fueled.

The Trump administration is channeling Hoover. The 1932 U.S. election was a disaster for the Republican Party. Republicans would be wise to let the 2017 tax cuts expire and not touch Medicare or Medicaid. This would reduce the U.S. budget deficit, and Republicans could avoid repeating Hoover’s errors.

Oman brokers US-Yemen ceasefire, Israelis in dark regarding deal

Al Mayadeen English

Oman mediates a ceasefire between the US and Sanaa, but Ansar Allah pledges continued operations against “Israel” over its aggression on Gaza.

The Omani Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that it had successfully brokered a ceasefire agreement between the United States and the authorities in Sanaa, aimed at achieving mutual de-escalation.

According to a statement from Muscat, the agreement entails a commitment by both sides, Washington and the Sanaa-based government, not to target each other in future military operations.

“The Sultanate thanks both parties for their constructive approach that led to this welcome outcome,” the statement read, emphasizing Oman’s longstanding diplomatic efforts in mediating regional conflicts.

US President Donald Trump had earlier declared an immediate halt to US airstrikes on Yemen, claiming that Yemeni authorities had promised to cease attacks on vessels in the Red Sea.

‘Trump surprised us’

The declaration appears to have caught the Israeli occupation off guard, with Axios journalist Barak Ravid quoting a senior Israeli official saying, “We didn’t know about this. Trump surprised us.”

Despite Trump’s claims of a breakthrough, Ansar Allah denied that any such concession had been made. In an interview with Bloomberg, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the group’s Political Council, affirmed that military operations in the Red Sea and against “Israel” would continue until the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege on its people is lifted.

Yemen – They Defeated The Saudis, Then Biden, Now Trump

A barefooted Yemeni Houthi fighter storming a Saudi machine gun position

Moon of Alabama

In January 2024, the nine years long war Saudi Arabia waged against Yemen had just calmed down after the Saudis had been mostly defeated, the Houthi movement declared to shut down Israel related traffic through the Red Sea. The move was made in solidarity with the besieged people in Gaza.

To cover for Israel’s genocide in Gaza the U.S. and UK decided to fight down the Houthi and to reestablish marine traffic through the Red Sea. Their bombing campaign showed little results.

Eight month later a hawkish British commentator conceded defeat:

The Houthis have defeated the US NavyTelegraph, Aug 24 2024

Soon thereafter the Biden administration recognized that the effort was useless and refrained from launching further strikes on Yemen.

In March 2025 the Trump administration repeated the error of the previous U.S. regime and engaged in a new bombing campaign against Yemen:

Announcing Saturday’s strikes, Trump said “we will use overwhelming lethal force until we have achieved our objective”.”Funded by Iran, the Houthi thugs have fired missiles at US aircraft, and targeted our Troops and Allies,” Trump said on social media, adding that their “piracy, violence, and terrorism” had cost “billions” and put lives at risk.

Addressing the Houthis directly, Trump wrote that if they did not stop, “HELL WILL RAIN DOWN UPON YOU LIKE NOTHING YOU HAVE EVER SEEN BEFORE”.

But the Houthis have been unwavering in their response, saying the aggression would not diminish their support for Palestinians.

I made a short comment on the renewal of the U.S. bombing campaign:

  • Bombing Yemen is stupid. The Saudis tried for years to get their way by doing that and were defeated.
  • Yemen can and does shoot back.
  • It is only a question of time until it hits a U.S. war ship and causes casualties.
  • Then Trump will be hard pressed to escalate the war towards Iran.
  • Iran can not be defeated.

The U.S. and UK military have since continued to bomb Yemen. There are signs that they have run out of identified targets as they are bombing just random stuff. Recently they hit a detention center that was holding African migrants killing some 60 of those. They dropped bombs on civilians near a quarry because some random guy on Twitter posted coordinates of the quarry claiming that it was a military site. Eight people died.

On Sunday a Yemeni missile hit Israel’s main airport Ben Gurion. U.S. supplied Patriot and THAAD, as well as Israel Arrow air defense system had failed to intercept the missile.

The Houthi warned of more to come:

Houthi military spokesman Brig.-Gen. Yahya Saree posted on Telegram that the missile strike was in response to expand its operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The decision to expand operations was agreed upon by the Israeli security cabinet on Friday night. Several IDF reserve brigades will be mobilized for the operation’s expansion. The Yemen-based terror organization “calls upon all international airlines to take into consideration” their plans to target Israeli airports, Saree said in his Telegram post, and also recommended that airlines “cancel all schedules flights to the airports of the ‘criminal enemy’ to preserve the safety of their aircraft and their agents.”

Trump’s military campaign against Yemen, just like Biden’s previous one, has failed:

The Houthis have the upper hand. This is why (archived) – The Times, May 4 2025
Despite concerted American efforts, the Iran-backed Yemeni group continues to launch missile attacks against Israel and merchant shipping in the Red Sea

President Trump has promised to “annihilate the Houthis” and a campaign that involved 202 strikes during its first two months, under the Biden administration, has intensified to the point that more than 800 have been delivered.

The Houthis combine the nimbleness of a non-state group and an insurgent army, while having Iranian support, and boasting an arsenal of strike weapons that would put most countries to shame. So, there is danger for British and American pilots — the Houthis have shot down 19 Reaper drones (which cost $30 million each) since this blitz started. And Monday’s attempt to hit the Truman shows their continued ability to threaten nearby shipping with a blend of ballistic and cruise missiles as well as uncrewed aircraft and boats, testing their defences from all angles.

Intercepting these occasional launches of long-range Iranian-made weapons is one of the most expensive issues facing the Pentagon. The Israeli Arrow missiles used to counter them are $4 million each, the American Thaad missile defence systems cost $8.4 million, and the ship-launched SM-3 anti-ballistic missile is an eye-watering $27 million. As for protecting naval vessels off Yemen, a salvo of defensive missiles costs millions, but the price of such a strike getting through, crippling a warship, could easily top a billion dollars.

A hit on a U.S. or British ship is sure to happen should the U.S. and UK continue its campaign.  But there is no hope that any bombing will defeat the nobles of Yemen:

Ultimately though, the Houthis, ruling through a combination of activism and coercion, have withstood attempts by western countries and Saudi Arabia to coerce them so will retain some capability to continue launching missiles.

There are ideas of instigating a local ground campaign against the Ansar Islam ruled parts of North Yemen. The Saudis, with help of the Emirates and al-Qaeda had tried that too. It had failed and will fail again should the Trump administration be stupid enough to try it again.

The Houthi can not be defeated . Soon a U.S. ship will get hit. From there the war could easily escalate into a war against Iran. There is a good chance that the U.S. would lose it.

It is high time for the Trump administration to pull back from its Yemen campaign.

The reopening of the Red Sea for all maritime traffic can only be achieved by reining in the Zionist maniacs.

Unfortunately Trump lacks the balls to even attempt that.

Trump announces deal to stop bombing Houthis, end shipping attacks

Trump announces deal to stop bombing Houthis, end shipping attacks ...

WASHINGTON/CAIRO, May 6 (Reuters) – President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday the U.S. will stop bombing the Houthis in Yemen, saying that the Iran-aligned group had agreed to stop interrupting important shipping lanes in the Middle East.

After Trump made the announcement, Oman said it had mediated the ceasefire deal, marking a major shift in Houthi policy since the start of Israel’s war in Gaza in October 2023.

Under the agreement, neither the U.S. nor the Houthis would target the other, including U.S. vessels in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait, Oman said in a statement.

The statement from Oman did not mention whether the Houthis had agreed to stop attacks on Israel. The head of Yemen’s Houthi Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, said the group would continue to support Gaza and that such attacks would continue.

“To all Zionists from now on, stay in shelters or leave to your countries immediately as your failed government will not be able to protect you after today,” Houthi-run Al Masirah TV cited him as saying.

Separately, the head of Yemen’s Houthi supreme revolutionary committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, said the U.S. halt of “aggression” against Yemen would be evaluated, according to a post on X.

“They said please don’t bomb us any more and we’re not going to attack your ships,” Trump said of the Houthis during an Oval Office meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. “And I will accept their word, and we are going to stop the bombing of the Houthis effective immediately.”

The Houthis have been firing at Israel and at shipping in the Red Sea since Israel began its military offensive against Hamas in Gaza after the Palestinian militant group’s deadly attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

Britain’s Shoplifting Gangs Exposed

Shoplifting Gangs in Britain

Directed by Alice McShane (2024)

Film Review

This film concerns a British investigative journalist named Matt and his efforts to track down gangsters who shoplifted £120,000 worth of stock from a group of Morrison;s supermarkets in a single day.

According to British police, one quarter of UK shoplifting incidents are carried out by organized gangs, costing British merchants £1.8 billion in 2020. Despite the massive increase in incidents, British police only prosecute one quarter of the shoplifting cases they did a decade ago.

The film cites evidence these gangs target multiple quantities of specific items (eg alcohol, high value health and beauty items and over the counter medication), suggesting they’re “stealing to order.”

By going over CCTV footage with police, Shea learned the gang in question employed a spotter, who cued them where they could safely transfer their booty from their shopping cart to their backpacks.

Subsequently Shea traced of the stolen goods to car boots sales in Essex, where a few traders were selling large volumes of brand new off the shelf items.

Shea also successfully identified the spotter caught on CCTV as a Romanian national who was also illegally smuggling other Romanians into Britain – possibly to participate in these shoplifting rings. He and other Romanian immigrants connected to the shoplifting rings have distinctive cross tattoos on their neck – Russian mafia insignia that has infiltrated Romania. Some have been investigated in Bucharest for human trafficking.

In his ongoing investigation, Shea also also learned the Romania shoplifting gang uses an online supplier called Prime Value Distribution to onsell their stolen goods in the Middle East, Africa and continental Europe. The Prime Value manager Shea interviews undercover also does a side business in obtaining forged British visas for Indian and Pakistani immigrants. He also finds British brides to help them gain citizenship for $250 a month.
